20 Best Chocolate Covered Caramels (2022 Updated)

I bought these just to see what these dark chocolate caramel tasted like, how they might compared to other very sugary products on the market. These are not very sugary. I would say they are pleasantly sweet but not too sweet.

They have a pleasant raisin like flavor. The only thing I didn’t love is that the caramel inside was not soft or liquidy, it was more firm. I’m not sure why. But despite that I would say these were pretty good I would probably buy them again.

I promised myself when I received my Tom and Jenny’s Sugar-free Caramels that I would immediately leave a review about the taste in your mouth when I was done eating a caramel. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO AFTER TASTE! Buying 6 bags of these caramels without tasting them was a real gamble.

But this gamble really paid off! I am ready to enjoy eating delicious sweet treats on Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!.

I love caramels and thought I was getting the perfect candy for me, a diabetic, but eating only three acts like a laxative! I really wish QVC will say this on your website. I have purchased other items from QVC that were sugar free and did not have this problem.

Cheryl cookies, and the cheesecakes were great and no problems. Please remember that you have a lot of diabetics watching and buying!.

I bought the original, I like to put it in the freezer before eating. Caramel is really good, no after taste, just wish it had a different sweetner. No mention of the sweetner during the presentation.

I’ll eat these but will not reorder.

I love these but I wish they had less chocolate coating on them. I taste the chocolate more than caramel. Wish it had less!

I always have these caramels in my home and they are a perfect substitute for Holiday chocolate. I can only find them at Vegan Supply and usually buy several at a time. SO creamy and delicious!

these are heavenly and so rich. good coconut and dark chocolate flavor, nice sea salt. chewy thick texture. amazing

I have Bought 4-5 round “jars” of Saunder’s dark chocolate sea salted caramels and found them excellent. So I ordered 3 more. But 2 things are negative. 1. They came in “rectangular” jars with significant lower net weight.

2. The pieces are smaller but the dark chocolate coating is the same as before. This creates an imbalance in ratio of caramel to chocolate coating. I MUCH prefer the original. The new version increases the cost and is imbalanced.

Disappointed.

My SO brought these home from Costco one day just because he knows that I like chocolate and caramel. We opened the container and each tried one and we both instantly loved them. I don’t usually like too much sea salt on sea salt caramel, but this is just the right amount to add a little snap.

And the balance of chocolate and caramel is just perfect. We each eat in once a day, and neither of us even feels guilty about it since they’re relatively low calorie if you only eat a few. So much yum!.

I guess you can’t expect chocolate to be fresh after sitting in a warehouse for who knows how long. The first time I ordered some of these, they came dry and hard and cracked and unedible. This second attempt was much better, but not perfect.

It’s obvious that these have sat around for quite some time. But, they are still pretty good. Each piece shows obvious signs of age. See photo comparing fresh and old candy.

They were for Children Christmas Party goodie bags. The kids just loved them. I would buy them again for parties and more. Wish you had them for all the time just not for Christmas. Thank you! Kathy

This item was very cute. The Santa Claus looked great and were easy to unwrap. However they did not taste very good. Kind of a plasticy. Not tainted or anything, just poor quality.

Bought these last year for christmas. One of the only places i could find them this year and they taste just as I remember them.

These candies are fabulous! The chocolate is very rich and the caramel is of a soft texture, not hard. Very tasty and seems to be very high end. I have no complaints except the delivery. They arrived half melted and one of the jar caps was broken.

The ice packet enclosed was hot to the touch! If these are going to be delivered to Florida in August there should be better packaging! I didn’t return them because they taste so good. I only took off one star for the delivery so it wouldn’t reflect too badly on the product which I would give 5 stars.

Bought a bag in-store. These caramels are absolutely delicious. Creamy dark chocolate and smooth-as-silk caramel. I liked them so much, I came to the Walmart website to order more. To my surprise, the price on the website is more than 3x’s what I paid for the same 3.

I buy for a friend and she likes Bixby’s Dark Sea-Salted Caramels better than any others she has tried. She has tried many.

My favorite addiction. These are a bit bigger than “bite size”, each wrapped in it’s little paper. The dark chocolate outside is fabulous as is the rich caramel inside. It just doesn’t get any better than Riesens.

This candy is so rich and delicious-it taste more expensive than it actually is, and they have a complexity of flavor that isn’t found in many chocolate candies. I’m surprised that this candy hasn’t gotten more attention.

Because it really is a good and delicious candy, it’s just that it is a little hard on the teeth and they do need to be warmed up. Or do what I do and suck on it first. .

LITERALLY MY FAVOURITE CANDY EVER! My o e true weakness. I love these things. They’re chewy and sweet but not too sweet. Delicious and just enough to give you that feel good feeling! The extra sticky I side is best slightly warm but not melted so it just oozes and chews so well! If you haven’t tried them you gotta!.

Think chocolate M&M with a monster crunch from the pretzel inside alongside a bit of saltiness. That’s what you get there. It’s such a great combination of flavors. And to be clear, the crunch is like a potato chip.

It sounds loud but the feel is soft like a pretzel snack from a bag. I say this because a friend thought I broke a tooth based on the sound of the crunch — it’s just a loud crunch from the pretzel is all.

But getting back to the flavor, it’s great! The pretzel and its salt are in the front, but the M&M’s chocolate is not far behind. Those are the distinct 3 flavors. So if you’re into that bit of salt flavor with your chocolate, this is definitely what you’re looking for.

My only complaint/desire is that they’d find a way to incorporate a small amount of peanut butter OR mix these in a bag along side their peanut butter M&M’s. Then I’d be in heaven!.

I received the M&M’S Peanut Butter Chocolate Candies, 18. 4 Oz Bag. They were so tasty!! Were, you ask? Was because they didn’t last a day around my home. M&M’S are already one of the best candies on the market.

They’ve been a part of our lives for as long as I can remember. I love that the M&M’S brand is always trying to come up with new flavor combinations. They do it so well that the when they combine flavors, one doesn’t overpower the other.

They just sort of meld together beautifully. This flavor combination of peanut butter and chocolate is no exception. The flavors blend well together and compliment each other nicely. My only complaint is that there wasn’t enough of them in the bag.

I definitely recommend this flavor combination of M&M’S to anyone who’s looking for a fulfilling and flavorful snack.

I have always enjoyed M&Ms as a snack to satisfy my sweet tooth. Now I enjoy them even more since they made these M&M Caramel Filled Chocolate Candies available. The bite size pieces are approx 1/2 inch round in shape & fat with caramel filling.

They feature the same color assortment as plain & peanut M&Ms. I like to keep my chocolate candy in the fridge, so when I put a piece in my mouth, it takes a little time for the candy coating to melt down to the caramel center.

I appreciate that the caramel softens enough that it does Not stick to my teeth. I usually eat 4-5 pieces in one sitting. The 18. 4 ounce Family Size Bag has enough pieces in it that the bag lasts me a couple of weeks.

This was an impulse purchase. took it home. Sadly, there were only 14 in the box (artfully arranged). Unlike the photo, there were very few salt crystals. DIDN’T MATTER. I got one out of the box, the husband and teen grabbed the rest.

the caramels did not last the full 60 seconds. these were wonderful! Perfect blend. Had to go online and purchase another 2 boxes. One as a gift and another one for the family. THEY NEED TO OFFER A MEGA BOX OF 20 or more.

These are so good! They are coated with just the perfect amount of salt, the dark chocolate is not too thick and not too thin over the caramel. Caramel is chewy and delicious. It’s the perfect blend!! Just be sure to watch yourself or you’ll eat the whole box in one sitting!!.

Chocolate Carmel deliciousness. Yea I know how bad they are for you. I am well aware that it’s probably going to pull a tooth out but they are a favorite. They are chewy chocolate goodness and I can’t help but love them.

I get a small bag I also can’t eat more than one at a time which is good. It’s a treat. So if you’re a chocolate caramel fan you’ll love these too.

As a caramel chocoholic I used to purchase these often in the past years & they were delicious & addicting but I had to stop buying because I ate too many. I saw them again & decided to treat myself but they have noticeably changed in flavor & not for the better.

They’re basically flavorless!! They taste nothing like they use to, they’re Missing their Rich chewy caramel vanilla buttery flavor Plus the chocolate is not as good. If you never ate them in the past you probably won’t notice a difference but if you did you will be able to tell they are no longer the same.

Extremely tired of Members Mark Brand taking over all the named brands & changing the quality. I won’t buy again.

I almost didn’t buy these last week (based on reviews) but decided to take the chance. I hadn’t bought them previously so I couldn’t compare them to previous formulations. I found them very tasty. I like the coarse salt on the outside.

The texture of the caramel is chewy—not oozy and not a chore to chew, but chewy enough to last a while. The chocolate is good, too. I usually eat sweets sparingly; I’m finding that eating just one at a time is kind of a challenge.

I have to pull myself away from these or I would eat them every day. When I do lose the battle of willpower, I try to allow myself 1-2 a day. These are the best sea salt caramels I have ever had including homemade.

Caution: I bought a package of these and left them in the back of my car in the hottest part of the Arkansas summer. They melted into a single blob. Not to be deterred, I dropped the blob into a 9×9 baking pan, mashed them down evenly, then cut into squares.

Still just as tasty.

I received a package of Milk Duds in exchange for my honest review. You can’t go wrong with this traditional chocolate caramel candy. If you love both chocolate AND caramel, then you need to try this classic candy.

I only had a few and gave the rest to my kids. These are kind of scary to eat as an adult when you have crowns and/or fillings. Nothing against Milk Duds, as this is just a fact with any caramel candy.

I love milk duds. Unfortunately for me I don’t get to eat them anymore. They are delicious chewy caramel bites smothered in milk chocolate. They are extremely chewy and will stick to your teeth and anything else in your mouth like piercings it braces.

I had to have dentures put in due to an accident so I am not able to ear these anymore because they would just wreck my teeth 😬 but I want you to enjoy some for me next time you grab a box.

Growing up my brother and I would fight over MILK DUDS Candy. I think the blend of caramel and chocolate balls of goodness have become a go to for me when I want a treat because they are so full of delicious flavor.

Soft yet firm and once i get to the caramel the flavors blend and bring a smile to my face. These are so delicious and brings back a lot of memories. It still taste great all these years later!.

The dark chocolate just overpowered the caramel flavor I’m usually biggest fan of dark chocolate but missed my second favorite flavor which is caramel. I’ll gift other bags.

Like the dark chocolate with carame. Also, the Rolos are individually wrapped in foil. Sometimes hard to find but worth looking for the dark version.
