20 Best Chocolate Covered Cherries (2022 Updated)

in my quest for the perfect “chocolate covered dried cherry” I have had two very different ones to date. One was a dark chocolate with sweet cherry and the other, this one, is more of a milk chocolate with a tart cherry and that’s the one I love.

This has a super smooth chocolate that melts in your mouth and the cherries are delightfully tart and chewy as a counterbalance. Perfection!.

I ordered dilettante bing cherries covered in premium chocolate, you sent me scones red chocolate covered cherries. The cherries you sent are the worst I have ever tasted. I will never order on line from Walmart again.

I love these. I mean LOVE them. If I could afford it, I’d never be without them. But, alas, I cannot afford to buy them except as a treat. Just as well, I can’t afford new fat clothes either.

I get these and another brand every holiday season. I love chocolate-covered cherries, but this year they aren’t very enjoyable. They taste as delicious as ever but it’s the cherries. They are pea-sized and they are tough, very hard to chew.

I may try them in a few months to see if there is a change, but if not I suppose I will be giving up one more thing about Christmas time. Seems to be happening a lot all over.

These are awesome. I love cellas and think they are 1000x better than Queen Anns. Cellas has a liquid and cherry inside and Queen Anns has a pink creme with a cherry but both taste so much different and I feel like cellas is way way better.

Yes I recommend these if you love chocolates and cherries.

I started to get a little nervous. I hadn’t seen the CELLA’S 12 PACK DARK CHERRY CORDIALS on Boscov’s website for awhile. So glad to see them back at holiday time! Please stock these year round! These are our very favorites.

especially my husband’s. We like how each candy is individually wrapped for freshness, and the dark chocolate with the delicious liquid cherry cordial center is THE BEST!! We have told so many people about CELLA’s dark chocolate candy with the liquid cordial centers and where to buy them.

I have always loved these chocalote covered Cherie’s. They were always put at a counter when checking out items at a store usually during the Holidays. I say why not have them everyday. I live in Florida my cherries were packed with 2 ice packs and were not melted leaking or smashed.

They did have a few missing. But the box was sealed in plastic so must have happened at the plant. I will defiantly buy these again and gave already advised others. I am very impressed with Oldtime Candy and now will not buy candy from anyone else.

In the last few months I have enjoyed these Chocolate Covered Cherries so much. The chocolate is so rich and smooth , and with the cherry filling your mouth with such a gourmet taste. The first of this year I had Covid it destroyed my taste buds along with no desire to eat.

Someone gave me a box of this life saver. After a few weeks I decided to try one. I couldn’t believe I was finally enjoying something to eat.

First I want to say I LOVE these Chocolate Covered Cherries!!! 🙂 I did not get to eat them as they were all “MELTED”. I ordered 2 boxes, when they arrived , 1 box had exploded and the 2nd box had melted all over the inside of the box ! I had placed 2 orders on the same day the cherries and for a different brand of chocolate and the same thing happened.

I realize the arrival dates were on very hot day’s however we know for sure when one of the package’s arrived it was not outside for a very long time and it was in the shade. I will never order chocolate or candy again via on-line.

With all my allergies, I have trouble finding candy that I can eat without getting sick. Your organic milk chocolate covered raisins do NOT. Thank you so much for making a candy that apparently is NOT made with all the ‘crap’ that is used in making candy on the shelves.

The best chocolate covered cherries!! If they are not as good as queen annes then tell me why every year after the day after Christmas there are NO Cellas only boxes and upon boxes and stacks of queen annes that no one wants until they are clearanced all the way down to 75% or 90% off, lol? If you order and have it shipped, expect some to break then you won’t be disappointed.

Best bet is to pick them up in store or have them brought out in curbside pick up. Worth it!.

I like chocolate covered cherries during the holidays. This is the first time I have bought Cella’s. They are really good! I especially like that I can refrigerate them and the liquid center stays liquid.

Other brands solidify. The chocolate shell isn’t flimsy. The cherry is sweet. I will be buying more.

I got these for my mom for Christmas, they’re her favorite. Sadly a few of them exploded in the box and it arrived sticky, but we live overseas so I imagine they got smashed in transit. Can’t blame Walmart for that, however I wish we could have gotten a full box, my mom LOVES them! Flavor is all there and I’m glad I got to give them to her regardless.

These are the best chocolate covered cherries, hands down. They are perfectly sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. I wish the reviews reflected the product, rather than the outlying issues that can happen during transport and storage.

It doesn’t tell folks what to typically expect. I’m specifically writing this one to balance them out a bit more.

These are very good! The cherries are dried (and pitted) with a chocolate coating. They are like BIG Rasinets but with cherry centers. The chocolate is not as creamy as I would like, but still very good! I’m guessing it’s less creamy because it has less sugar and no milk – that’s great for me! (No soy would be even better! – I’m hoping!) The serving size is 8 pieces.

While it would be very easy to eat 8 in a sitting I try to only eat 1 or 2 at a time because of the cost. I always get those cream-filled chocolate covered cherries in my stocking at Christmas. This year I will request these instead! They are different, but I like them better and they are healthier! How great is that!.

It’s a very small bag but I thought it is fine. It’s not something you’ll eat in one go. The chocolate is very rich and decadent so for me I found out that a few of these are enough to stop my cravings for something sweet.

The filling is just a dry cherry. There’s no liquor (they don’t claim there is!) but I don’t find it to be excessively dry. There’s actually a good texture to it. Overall I like it. I do think it’s a small pouch so not sure yet I’d pay full price.

But it’s very good.

These are the most amazing chocolate cherries I’ve ever tasted! Absolutely incredible! Especially the dark chocolate. it rocks!!! and the cherries are so tinder. Dried cherries are usually hard. not these!.

These Chocolates Are Great! They Have An Amazing Flavor. I Love Cherries and Milk Chocolate. The Combination Of The Two,Works Really Well.

Chocolates are sumptuous and are of very good quality. Although the box was packed well, six chocolates were crushed with syrup leaked all over the bottom of the box.

Packaging excellent, shipped in a timely fashion, package was descriptive. Much better taste than the Greek chocolates I’ve been purchasing for the last 35 years.

It was a gift for someone special, and while it was rather expensive for what it was, I was happy to find the product online. Being chocolate and being summer, I expected that it might have been packed to prevent melting.

It was not. However, I am told that the product was in good condition inside!.

This is not something you want to buy threw USPS. USPS put the package in the mailbox sideways and the chocolate melted inside the box and was a mess. I paid $18. 00 for basically nothing. I threw the candy away.

I could get sick off eating these they’re SO DELICIOUS!! lol Usually I don’t like dark chocolate in candy- but THESE are SO DELICIOUS that they’re so much more better than just the milk chocolate ones!!.

These are the BEST! My absolute favorite snack and dessert. But they’ve been out of stock for like a week and I’m going nuts waiting for them! Really really really hoping they restock these and haven’t discontinued them! They are the perfect sweet treat and snack.

The chocolate is excellent and the berries are too. I love them frozen straight from the freezer and also love them when I can muster up the patience to let them sit at room temp for a bit like the directions say to.

Can’t go wrong either way. I’ve been getting these successfully with Target’s fabulous drive up option. When I have frozen goods in my order, I just wait til I get there before tapping “on my way,” and I haven’t had any problems with them staying frozen.

There has been birthday cake in my house all week and I don’t even want it—I just want these! Please please restock soon! It’s cruel to get a girl hooked on this deliciousness and then cut me off! (Kidding but not really—please restock!!!).

Very delicious but the serving size is 3-4 of the cherries! I can easily eat half the bag in one sitting while watching a movie. The trick is to fill a bowl with half normal frozen cherries and half of the chocolate tru-fru and it helps them last longer 🙂 These are my favorite flavor! The strawberries are two large and the blueberries aren’t tart enough for me.

Disappointing! I love cherries but the quality was really inconsistent, about 30% of the cherries tasted rotten/off. And the other cherries were super tart. I’m sticking with the raspberries.

They had such an amazing taste one that I sent them with my girls lunch. for. It was a nice little with a little healthy chocolate but the best part of the dark chocolate is that it’s also good for you.

It’s just enough to get rid of their sweet cravings. Love that they are in little packs that I can get my girls to have.

I found these are my local Marshall’s store. Price was affordable and I love the convenience of the to go packs. I usually take one for class break. Now. While it tastes good and not overly sweet or bitter like most dark Chocolate, if you’re looking for a filling snack this isn’t it.

Personally I don’t get full off of one bag but it does do the job to tame my growling tummy between meals. It’s a delicious and healthy treat.

I love dark chocolate and also blueberries 🫐 , so this is one of the perfect snacks when I’m craving. They are so delicious and the best thing that they are gluten free and no artificial ingredients.

My dad’s favorite things in the world are chocolate covered cherries, so when I discovered that this company, I knew I had to purchase them! These did not disappoint! They arrived on Christmas Eve packaged well.

These tiny nuggets of wonderful are light! I have ulcerative colitis. I can’t eat candy. I CAN EAT THESE, which means they have a light in fat recipe or are just made from very fresh and very low toxic ingredients.

The no good part is that I ate the entire box in two days!! Then ordered over $100 worth to send to all my loved ones. They are so worth the price!!.

It’s almost unbelievable how much this very modest box of chocolates cost, and there’s not a thing special about them. The cherries aren’t especially fresh or juicy, and the chocolate is indifferent.

I was under the impression they had liqueur filling, which might justify the cost. I agree with the comment that you can buy just as good chocolates for half the price in a drug store.

I am what you might call a connoisseur of chocolate covered cherries. Was looking for an Kind of a connoisseur of chocolate covered cherries. A little taken aback, $2 a cherry? Figured I’d take a chance and try them.

Oh. my. gravy. They are so worth the money. The chocolate is perfect, the cherries are perfect. So incredibly good. Can’t imagine ever bothering with any others now.

Received these as a gift last year, and we loved them. After searching online, found them on MyPanier and ordered enough to give as gifts and have some for ourselves.

These chocolate covered cherries are to die for! They arrived on time, well packaged and in perfect condition to eat straight outta the box. However, they’re even better if you can have a *little* patience and wait until they’re slightly frozen! Ten stars!! Worth every penny.

Ok. so I waited before writing the review. I WILL NEVER buy another store bought chocolate covered cherry because SMASH NAILED IT!!!! I am so glad I bought 2 dozen because I can’t stop eating them and I’m eating 2 at a time!!!! Good God Almighty these are good!!!😋 I call them “the ones I can’t put down”🤣.
