20 Best Christmas Light Hooks (2022 Updated)

These clips are very versatile – they have at least two different ways to hold the lights, are sturdy plastic and well made. We used them for C9 lights along the gutter edge and also for larger, outdoor patio lights.

They were exactly what I needed. I was looking for some light clips to match my clips from Menards. Although they are a different brand, they are exactly the same. 🙂

These clips are good sized, about 2 inches. They attach onto the shingles very easily. My use for these was to attach some decorative dragonfly solar lights to a porch. I was able to use these clips without having to put the light in the holder.

I was drowning in the quicksand of all in one clips when michael wiseman threw out a 1000ft spool of C9 sockets with 12in spacing. I was lucky that one socket fell gently over my thumb allowing me to grip and thrash my way to safety.

With a mistletoe hanging at bay, michael looked deep into those sockets and realized this was all Devonn’s fault. Moral of the story is to be careful when answering the phone!.

These worked perfectly on my newly-installed green gutters. Very low profile, unobtrusive, really easy to get the lights into and out of, and they clip on very securely. They look tons better than the old white ones I had that were always a struggle to get the light seated into, and they hold the lights perfectly straight.

These are so nice looking, I may not even take them down when the season’s over.

These green plastic tree clips were such a pleasure, very easy to use. 300 clips later, the trees look marvelous with new LED white lights, held firmly and aesthetically in perfect place thanks to these tree clips.

I used to secure my outside lights with twist ties. Now, I use these. Looks a lot nicer and does the job well. Gave some to my daughter and she agrees with me on them securing the lights in place.

These tree light clips are the best! I want my lights placed so that they are tucked into the Christmas tree with a minimum of wire showing. These clips make it possible for me to place and secure them easily and remove them in a snap when holiday time is over.

I discovered these clips last year! They are the best I found that work on gutters to keep your C9 bulbs in an upright position. I couldn’t purchase anymore anywhere last year. Now I started searching for more of these clips and found them at Max Warehouse.

If you want a professional looking Christmas light set up these are the way to go. It is time consuming to clip in each light, but the product is great.

We are totally satisfied with the Icicle Light Clip. The clip is easy to install and blends in with the lights. Simply love the ease and quality.

I spent hours putting up my icicle lights, sliding the clips under each shingle. They were fine for a couple of weeks. Then, we had a snowstorm and icicles formed on the lights. The day after the snowstorm, the added weight of the icicles on the lights pulled all the clips off the shingles and the lights fell to the ground.

I was heartbroken that the clips did not hold up.

I used them to control excess wires from some spot lights that I have on my Garden spinners. They worked very well as I have vinyl siding on my house. Also used them to hang some small Chinese lanterns on my back deck overhang.

They worked fine for that also!.

There clips are great. They work with any type of roof edge or eavestrough. Easy to use and are reusable. The last type I used to put up my Xmas lights were the dark green plastic type with a metal spring inside the hinge but the sun degraded the plastic over the winter and the spring rusted and every one of them broke as I removed my lights from my eavestrough in the spring.

These new ones are a different type of plastic and are reusable.

Work well once you figure it out. Wasn’t aware that there was a pole to use to install the hangers. Went back next day and could not find the pole to use with these clips. Used a ladder and installed without.

These clips allowed us to be easily attach our bulbs safely without having to climb onto the roof! Also helps align the bulbs so that they all look lined up properly.

These gutter hooks are the best that have ever been made for gutters. Most gutter hooks are easy to attach but 50% break when removing. These gutter hooks are easy to put on and easy to remove and save for the following year.

These old ones that have gotten brittle in the sun and broken. Glad I found these replacements.

Absolutely brilliant. I have bought similar before that are really disappointing. When I returned another item on the order to the store for a refund -( dealt with really efficiently by the way) I would have bought a few more packets but none left.

Used for securing low voltage wiring under cabinets. Doesn’t clip cable tightly so no tensioning is possible. Surfaces need to thoroughly degreased to get pads to stick. Works fine

A little better than expected and fiddly to attach sticky pads. Only a couple refused to stay put, but overall not too bad at all for price.

These clips will make your efforts look professional. The lights will be perfectly spaced and vertical or horizontal to your choosing. Very easy to install and take down. If you live in a cold climate expect to replace these every few years as the plastic does get brittle in the cold over time.

Fortunately they are inexpensive and worth more than they cost. Highly recommend them!.

Excellent Universal Clips. These clips are strong, durable, and stay tight to your gutters, shingles, or metal roof. You can even use hot glue on them for areas that they can’t clip on without melting them like some other brands.

Exactly the clips I was looking for! Not available in local department or hardware stores and wasn’t sure from photo if it was what I needed to match my existing clips. I called customer service and the agent described the clips over the phone to my satisfaction.

This is truly the all-in-one clip. It supports mini-lites, C5,C6,C9 and will hold each size lite individually, if that’s what you need. That’s how I used it this year so make sure you have enough clips.

Lot’s of work but it looks nice. Next year, I may just hang the lights.

These are the best clips I have ever used and although small, they were perfect quality and held my outside xmas lights in place despite some horrendous weather. Would definitely buy again.

Very easy to apply to the brick. My decorative items fit snugly against the wall. Very impressed.

This worked perfectly for hanging up my Texas star on the house. Just clip on the brick and hang your item. Stong winds did not phase it

These Gutter hooks for my icicle lights were exactly what I was looking for as I needed to replace some that I’d lost over time. Saw several other offerings but they were poor quality and not very cheap.

Goods arrived on time and were exactly the same good quality to the ones I already had. Would recommend these.

Did the job extremely well. Took two strings of mains powered Christmas lights along the house front. They blended in with our white gutters and were very easy to just hook on and remained secure even during stormy weather and high winds.

These are translucent hooks which fit on to the gutters and are currently holding my Christmas lights. They were cheap to buy, quickly delivered, and easy to put up. One small criticism is that I could not easily fit the wires into the small hooks.

However, they have stayed up through a gale. so not a problem in practice.

These are the clips I like to use when hanging my icicle lights on the edge of the roof. They hold them straight without saging.

The clip design is great and they do fit over gutter well. They do break in cold weather, I have broken 10 when putting on our old galvanized gutter.

Amazing!!! I was able to take down all of the previous screws, nails and clips and just use these. All of my string lights are now secured to the house and fence. A little while after I put everything up some strong winds began.

Hours passed, everything is still right where I put them. Highly recommend this product!! In the spring I am going to try to paint them to match my house so they are not noticeable.

Only last one or two years in the sun then the arms get brittle and break off when you try to install or remove light strands which you really should do each year as light cords are not designed for year round display in hash summer sun.

Make sure you have plenty of extra clips to replace them as they break!.

Bought for my window christmas lights and they are almost impossible to buy anymore and I see that Lowes has them on clearance for $1.49 and I paid over $4.00 per pack at the time.

I was thrilled to find these again. I had something similar I purchased 20+ years ago. These appear to be a little harder to insert in the siding but I remember the others were tight also. Excited to replace these and hang my cords from the rain gutter heat tapes in them.

This was the best price I found them offered for.

Bought some cheaper ones from discount store. Cracked and broke when cold weather set in . My neighbor gave me some of this brand and they held up beautifully!

Every year I get on my roof to put up my Christmas lights and every year I get frustrated because of the flimsey, weak & poorly made clips I have to use. It makes the process no fun. This past Christmas my brother-in-law had bought these TuffClips which I helped install.
