20 Best Earbuds For Side Sleepers (2022 Updated)

These are fairly comfortable for sleeping (on your back) and do help cancel out noise. They do fall out often and are not comfortable for side sleeping. My biggest complaint is that Im on my 3rd pair in 6 months.

I need these to sleep beside my husband! Very expensive to replace every 2 months. Cheaply made and overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately no other company makes them. If anyone knows of a similar product (that lasts) please post!.

These are the BEST! I use them when I sleep and they are so comfortable. If you are looking for a great fit, comfort and top quality, these will deliver! Well worth the price, I’m going to order more for family and friends.

Ended up returning this. I expected more for something of this price. These won’t work/start without connecting to the app which it frequently had trouble doing even when holding them 2inch from my phone.

Sometimes only one would connect then I would a have to put it back in the charging case which seemed to reset something and try again. When they were connected sometimes there would be a lag and one ear would change sounds and the other wouldn’t, again this would be close to my phone.

Sound wise I actually liked this better and found it relaxing most of the time (waves + one of the tranquil felt almost more natural to listen to) but I would prefer it to be an intentional option I have control over versus poor functioning.

I knew you could only use they’re programmed sounds what I didn’t realise was how very quickly it repeated itself, within just a few minutes. I liked several of the sounds until I actually tried using them and found their quick repetition annoying and distracting enough to disrupt falling asleep and needing to change it.

The charging case is nice but a little finicky. I would place the earbuds in the case hear a little click like it’d set into place and sound like it was good and being charged. I learned quickly when I had dead earbuds in the evening that it’s very sensitive in its placement so I would usually have to nudged it a little until I’d see the charging light go on.

This means I had to remember every morning to double check which is not my strong point first thing in the morning. I expected them to be a quick and easy placement which clicked into place that takes no thought like my other earbuds.

As for the noise masking and blocking it is actually very good at this and does what it’s marketed for. The alarm function was great and definitely needed. It was just all the other little issues that made it feel like a high price tag for something that while did mask/ block noise, was lacking the level of quality I’d expect for this price and from Bose.

I would only get these again if I had a new night noise disturbance and was getting desperate to block it out because despite everything else they were very good at that.

I bought these to replace some wired noise-cancelling earbuds that I had been using to mask snoring sounds from my partner using a ‘sleep sounds’ app on my phone. This had been effective, but I wanted a wireless solution instead, as my wired earbuds were inconvenient and too large for side-sleeping.

I had found that even with my previous noise-cancelling headphones, my partner’s snoring wasn’t totally silenced, and a ‘sleep sounds’ app on my phone was required to mask the remaining snoring sounds.

So I was confident that the Bose claims that ‘masking’ was more effective than noise-cancelling made sense. The Sleepbuds are every bit as effective at masking the snoring as my previous noise-cancelling headphones.

They are very comfortable, and the small size means that side-sleeping isn’t a problem – I just don’t notice them physically when they’re in my ears. I use the ‘Rumble’ sound, as it has a combination of higher and lower pitched sounds that I find especially effective at masking my partner’s snoring – but there’s a good range of sounds to pick from.

I only use the Sleepbuds when my partner’s snoring is disruptive, so when I go to bed I take them out of the charge case and put them on my bedside table, then start the ‘Rumble’ sound via the app – then they’re ready for me to pop into my ears if my partner starts snoring.

The only way they could be better would be if I could take them out of the charge case (in the middle of the night) and have them start up with the correct sound automatically, rather than having to manually start the sound on my phone.

However, the workaround of setting them up on my bedside table when I go to bed is fine. Altogether I’m very pleased.

Short summary/pros and cons at the bottom of this review. My spouse snores like an Ox and I have tried everything from sleeping on side(s) to snore strips and nothing has worked. It’s been costing me hours of sleep every night so decided to give these a go.

Setup instructions were clear, and you’ll need the Bose sleep app to use these as intended. Comes with the battery charger/holder where the earbuds sit in, as well as a usb A to C charger and three different eartips.

I used the standard middle size that were already on and they fit perfectly. Normally noise cancelling earbuds create an uncomfortable vacuum in my ears after prolonged use, but I have to say after a full nights sleep, I had no issues whatsoever.

They stayed in the entire time and I tried to nudge, twist and turn my head to see how well they stayed in. The best feature is that they stay in your ear and don’t stick out like normal earbuds, so if you are a side sleeper these still works perfectly! I used the earbuds at the recommended/safe threshold in the app and it blocked out the noise and most of my spouse snoring.

If I turned it up a bit to about 80%, I couldn’t hear anything other than what was playing through the app. Use the volume above this value at your own risk! There’s tons of settings where you can conserve battery life by having the earbuds turn themselves off after a certain amount of time, stretching from 1 hour up to 8 hours or just “all night”.

The battery life on these are supposedly 8 hours and you are able to fully charge them in the case 3 times before the case itself needs to be recharged. The only real negative thing I have to say is that the audio library in the app is severely lacking.

Sure, there are 50 different options but a lot of them are similar. On Bose product page they do state that “More content will be added to the Sound Library through future software updates. ” The price is $249 and anything that has noise cancelling that is normally worth it usually has a threshold of +$150.

It’s still a very high price that supposedly is marked for one usage. For the same price you can buy Bose other products, so at a discount down to $200 I highly recommend this product. Price is of course subjective and for me, this was worth every penny to regain my sleeping cycle.

Small earphones come with a variety of tips and non-removable cord. These fit me about as well as any and offer a smooth, refined sound that doesn’t lack any detail. No hot top end with the Finals. Like all in-ear phones, the fit and seal go a long way to determining the sound quality.

I prefer standard over-the-ear style phones, but for convenience and travel these are the ones I use. Plus they are at a good price.

As a Prog rock fan, I have done lots of searching for nice “bassy” in ear headphones. So far these have been the best. Others i have bought over the years have broken after a short period of time. These are real sturdy.

They also stay in your ears, as I mainly use them when I go for a run.

Not as high res as I was expecting. Solid bass response but high end rolled off and soft.

I bout for myself to help sleep next to a snorer. They didnt block outside noise well enough even with volume high. I found them uncomfortable to sleep in. The stick out rubber pushed in on my ears when I laid on them.

SOLUTION: Inside the rubber the speakers are tiny. I was able to pull off that out rubber and put the speakers inside of regular ear plugs. Yay a comfy, block most sound fit. I sleep right through the snoring.

I love these headphones. I must have small ears because most headphones hurt after a while. Im glad I found these because my favorite way to go to sleep is listening to a great audiobook. I have the headband type of earphones & not have been as happy with them (headband slips during the night plus it is extra warm & makes my head sweat.

yuck!) These headphones are small & extra soft. There are no hard parts that make them uncomfortable. I love them!.

I commute to work on a motorcycle and ride in the canyons. These headphones fit so nicely with a helmet on. I feel like an F1 driver. They are so small but have good sound. They double as an earplug so it blocks out the wind as I listen to music going 80/90mph on the freeway.

I bought these upon the strength of reviews on various sites. Prior to having the Melomania 1+, I had an old pair of AirPods (whose battery life had degraded so much that they were becoming borderline unusable), and I mostly used them with an iPhone 11.

I was very disappointed at the lack of bass in the Melomania 1+ buds– although it’s hard to get a good seal as with most in-ear buds, but even when a good seal is made with them, there’s a notable crinkling sound when walking of the default tips.

And if one smiles, of course the seal is momentarily broken. When carrying my phone in my hand, the connection often gets interfered with, more so than with my AirPods– the sound would cut out for 1-2 seconds.

On top of all my frustrations, of course all the little niceties that the Apple ones afford such as pausing when removing one bud, ease of pairing across all Apple devices, etc, are completely missing.

Sometimes controlling the volume from the phone does not affect the buds, or there’s a long lag time in them receiving the instruction. All of this adds up to be extremely annoying. I had to mess around with various headphone settings to get them to sound even halfway decent, although to be fair, I haven’t broken them in yet.

I tested a FaceTime call and the person on the other end did say I was coming through clearly and the quality was good. Because of hygiene reasons, I am unable to return them, so I decided to try and use them on my (admittedly older, 2012 Mac), however the audio delay is so significant that I would not be able to use them to watch YouTube videos.

I don’t see the same problem with my mobile phone, however. The advertised battery life of 9 hours is for the “low performance mode” which they do not ship, but the default “high performance mode” is two hours less at 7 hours, which is okay.

Unfortunately, switching between the two modes is not trivial and requires a “software reset” which is akin to the firmware update process, and seemed to take about 45 seconds per bud and it occurs one at a time.

This also requires a mobile device running the Melomania app. Overall, this is one of the worst purchases I have made in recent history and I don’t feel they’re worth the £119. For that price, they are far more subpar than the entry level AirPods.

For non-Apple users of course, your experience may vary.

The documentation that came in the box was in French with no English explanation on what the various options are for. I had to install the Melomania app to my phone in order to even tell how to use the controls.

It then gave me the choice to update the firmware as the firmware in the earplugs was old. I opted to do the update. The process deletes the old firmware then loads the new. It failed with an error after it had deleted the old but only after reloading about 70% of the new firmware into the first of the two earplugs.

This left me with a set of earplugs that would not connect. I had no way to go back to the old firmware or install the new. I at least decided to try the phones while I was on my treadmill at a moderate walking pace to see if they would stay in place.

They didn’t. I changed the padding to two different sizes but I had trouble keeping the left one in place during my walk. I can’t comment on sound quality but the comfort and ease of use was less than I had hoped for.

I would grade the included documented as unusable since it was not in English.

The Amazon Echo Buds gen 2 headphones are a decent entry into an already saturated wireless earbud market. These look like your average in-ear buds. Black, nondescript, except for a very light Amazon “A to Z” logo on the earbud that you have to really look to see.

For me, the fit is just OK. There are a number of fit options, including four different sizes of ear canal tips, as well as what they call “wingtips” which fit over the earbud and attempt to keep the earbud from falling out.

I tried three different sizes of the tips and used the ear tip fitment test in the Alexa app to get the top fitment rating of excellent, I was able to get excellent on one ear and good on the other – but overall they seemed pretty stable in my ear and I have not had one come out unexpectedly.

I did have to sometimes push them in after a while to get the best sound quality. The sound quality is good – good enough for casual listening. In this price range and with bluetooth audio in general, you aren’t buying for audiophile quality.

When the eartips are sealed in your ear canal, they deliver the best sound, and as I would walk, talk, chew, etc. the earbud would slightly move around and not seal in the ear canal as well and I would notice a loss of fidelity, typically in the bass region.

Noise cancelling on these is good, but if you’re not used to noise cancelling or the noise cancelling level that these headphones use, you may find it a bit uncomfortable at first. When I first put on the headphones and activated noise cancelling, I was met with an uncomfortable pressure-like sensation.

It largely went away after turning up the music, but it is still something that takes getting used to. My primary set of buds also has noise cancelling, but apparently the amount, style, or configuration of this noise cancelling is different and gave me that pressure like feeling.

Usually after a bit it will go away – so don’t give up immediately! I did try these on my recent flight and they did a good job at blocking out most airplane noise in the cabin. Another thing to note, noise cancelling will eat through the battery faster than without it on – so that does subtract from the listening time.

We are an Alexa household, which is what made these buds attractive. The headphones are really responsive to the “Alexa” wake word, and what is cool is that if I am in an area of our home with Alexa coverage (which is basically everywhere), I will hear the headphones make the response tone, as well as the Echo device that covers that area, but the Alexa platform is smart enough to take commands from the headphones and ignore the command that came through the Echo device.

With that being said, it takes a bit of getting used to – if I’m in my office with the buds on and say “Turn on the lights” – nothing happens. Without the buds, the office Echo show is associated with that room and turns on the office lights – so the buds are not room/group aware and you will need to get specific with your Alexa voice commands to control your smart home.

These do require the Alexa app to set up, and as such the Alexa app wants a ton of privileges on your device like access to your location, use the mic, etc. For someone who just wants a set of decent buds, I can see where this would raise a brow – “Why do I need to give location and mic privileges to an app just to use these headphones?” but such is life in the smart connected device world.

If this is a show stopper issue for you, you may want to look at buds without a voice assistant built in. Setup was fairly straightforward – open the Alexa app, add a device, open your buds, and in a few seconds they show up on screen and you click the name to pair.

You are then walked through some basic instructions and the ear tip fitment test. Overall, the setup experience is good and easy enough for even the most tech un-savvy to follow along with. One downside I found of the reliance on the Echo app is that some features like getting battery status and changing noise cancelling modes on the earbuds via the phone is done via the Alexa app.

Unfortunately, when I was on the plane and did not buy the in-flight wi-fi I was not able to interact with the earbuds via the app because the app refused to function without connection to the Alexa services via the Internet.

You can still activate and de-activate noise cancelling via pressing the side of the earbuds, but this is kind of a miss. An update to the app to allow interaction with the buds when not connected would be a welcome addition.

Charging the buds is done by placing them back in their case. The case is nice and small, so it fits well in your pocket. It does charge via USB-C, so if you haven’t made the switch to USB-C, this will be another cable you’re carrying around.

There’s also a wireless charging case version available for a slightly higher price, so if you’re a Qi charging person, that may be for you as well. Overall, these buds get the job done. If you’re not in the Alexa ecosystem already, I’d probably look at other options – but if you are an Alexa user – this is a great way to take Alexa on the go as well as get good sound from noise cancelling buds.

INITIAL SET-UP Set-up of the Echo Buds is accomplished with your Amazon Alexa app available via the Apple Store or the Google Play Store. Folks that already have another Alexa device in their household will have no trouble setting up the Echo Buds with their Amazon account.

Set-up is very similar to other Amazon devices, and I had no issues linking and setting up the Buds with either my iPad or my Android smartphone. The included directions are simple and covered all aspects of initial configuration.

USE The Echo Buds have performed flawlessly since initial set-up. These Echo Buds had one thing going for them, that I haven’t experienced in some time. That is a product without the immediate need for a firmware update prior to use.

Wow, that alone is particularly impressive. Amazon claims battery life of up to 5 hours of music listening and 4 hours of phone calls. But, those times vary depending upon volume levels, active noise cancellation, etc.

The Echo Buds include 3 different sized tips (Small, Medium, and Large) to help fit nearly anyone’s ear. A unique feature to the Buds’ app is a custom test to ensure you have selected the correct tip size for your ear, thereby ensuring you get the best possible sound and noise cancellation properties from the device.

The sound test works extremely well. In addition to the ear tips, Amazon includes a product in the box they refer to as: Wing Tips. The wing tips are a silicone sleeve just like the ear tips, but go around the actual Echo Bud itself making for a “grippier” surface in your ear.

This helps to prevent the Bud from falling out during exercise or if sweaty. Though, it feels quite odd at first, the Wing Tips really do work well and make the Buds much more secure during workouts.

Well done! The main attraction to the Echo Buds, as opposed to other products on the market, is the inclusion of the Amazon Alexa assistant that is built into their functionality. Microphones built into the Buds not only work for answering phone calls, but with the Alexa app running on your phone, allow you to speak to your digital assistant anytime you say her name.

I find this much handier than my other home-based Echo products. It’s much more intuitive to add stuff to your shopping list, ask Alexa to play music, make a call, etc. If Alexa is not your choice of virtual assistants, Amazon wisely allows your Buds to be able to access either Siri or the Google Assistant, should you so choose.

Audio quality is very good with these new 2nd generation Echo Buds. While I don’t find the audio quality as good as I do with my Jabra ear buds, the Echo Buds still have very good audio quality. Whether I’ve used them for music, movies, or phone calls, I have not found a situation where the Buds don’t produce clear and intelligible audio.

The Echo Buds are manufactured with 3 microphones built into each ear bud and they do a great job of picking up audio for calls, but also at detecting the Alexa wake word. In quiet environments, you don’t have to speak much above a whisper to active Alexa.

I must also give a shout out to Amazon’s implementation of their Active Noise Cancellation. The ANC works extremely well, better than most ear buds, some at even much higher price tags. The Echo Buds can nearly eliminate the noise from the fan on my nightstand in a completely quiet bedroom.

This is something that most all my other ear buds or actual headphones struggle with. The Echo Buds handle the cancellation superbly. NEGATIVES I haven’t found a lot to dislike about the Echo Buds, but there are some areas where I think they could be improved upon, some I’m sure would be as easy as a firmware update.

First – Noise Floor. While the Echo Buds do a very good job at audio reproduction, there is quite a bit of noise during quiet passages in movies and music. While not a deal breaker by any means, I do notice that ever so slight hint of hiss in quiet environments.

Something not present in my Jabra’s. To be fair to Amazon, this is nearly inaudible in most environments, but when it is quiet time, you can hear it. However, I think it could be remedied with a simple firmware update.

Second – Bass Response. While not totally lacking in this department, it isn’t the most bass heavy of ear buds. You do get some bass response from the 5. 7mm drivers, but it won’t leave your jaw dropping.

Again, this isn’t a deal breaker and should I not have ear buds from different manufacturers, I would probably not have given it a second thought. However, similar products from other manufacturers do give a fuller, more dynamic response.

Lastly – Privacy. If you are concerned about your privacy and what Amazon hears and retains, this may not the product for you. Amazon states they do not sell your private information and supposedly does not record any information until you say the magic Alexa word.

Amazon allows you to mute the microphones in the Alexa app should you want total privacy and the app also allows you to view, hear, and delete any recordings. CONCLUSIONS At the end of the day, these are a very good set of ear buds at an attractive price.

The audio quality is very good whether it be for music, movies, or phone calls. The Echo Buds are light weight, and the inclusion of different sized tips ensure they are comfortable and appealing to a wide range of people.

In addition to the audio quality, the addition of the Amazon digital assistant is just an added win for the users already invested in the Amazon ecosystem. As much as I like the audio quality and performance of the Echo Buds, there are rivals out there that have better audio and call quality.

While some are much more expensive, some are similarly priced. Like I mentioned earlier, should you not have the option to hear them back-to-back with a competitors’ product, the difference is minimal enough that you would be hard pressed to notice.

I give the Echo Buds a solid 4 stars. Anyone that is looking for a good set of ear buds at a reasonable price and already invested in the Amazon ecosystem, these would be a no-brainer. Though other products do a better job at being a true ear bud, none I’ve found offer the convenience of the Echo Buds with Alexa built-in.

Amazon Echo Buds (Gen 2) has more improved compact design compared to its previous gen and has similar external case design as airpods pro. It has improved active noise cancelling (ANC) instead of active noise reduction in Gen1, but not that great compared to Sony or airpods pro.

This new gen now has USB- C instead of Micro USB for charging(gen1) and has a wireless charging case option for an additional $20. Comes in 2 colors (black and white). The new size and shape fit well compared to the previous gen that were large.

Pairing and setup were easy with Alexa app. Sound quality is good but not great compared to airpods pro but on par with the competition of earbuds on this price range and perform well. Each bud has 3 microphones and sidetone feature that allows to hear your voice inside the earbuds which greatly eliminate the need of shouting when talking on calls.

Passthrough mode is better and works well and can be toggled between noise canceling and passthrough mode by just taping and holding the either bud by programing on the app. A Single tap on the bud plays or pauses music, double tap tracks forward and triple tap tracks backward on music.

All these can be programed in the app. Volume adjusted can also be programed to raise or lowered with touch controls or by using Alexa wake word. Just say “Alexa lower the volume or raise the volume”.

Battery life is good and has 15 hours with the charging case and 5 hours of music per charge on each earbuds. A 15-min quick charge via the USB-C connection will get 2 hours of battery life. Pros: Good fit, comfortable, audio quality, solid battery life, good microphone, Alexa assistant.

Cons: ANC not very impressive. Overall, it’s a budget friendly earbud with good design, audio quality, ANC and built in Alexa assistant with the optional wireless charging case.

I got these as I have been using a pair of Sony XM3 in ears, which while great are quite chonky. The Jabra Elite 5’s boast a much smaller form factor, which once you have chosen from the included tips fit me really well.

I have been using these as my daily drivers for a few weeks now and I have found that they stay in my ears well, their fantastic shape means that they don’t come loose while I am walking and moving about in general, I have even found that they stay in my ears well when I go running, although I am always paranoid they will fall out, but so far I have found myself readjusting very infrequently.

I have been using these on an iPhone XR and found the app to set them up worked well. Once downloaded and opened, just open the case for the earphones and within a short time they are paired. You then go through the personalisation process, which is easy to follow and allows you to configure the earphones to your liking.

I found the adjustment for the Active Noise Cancellation did not have a massive effect, but was noticeable. The feature to find the headphones if lost is good in broad terms, it remembers where the case was last opened, this is good, but would benefit from being more accurate.

Sound quality is very good, and the ANC does not seem to be good, until I saw my next door neighbour cutting their grass, but I had not heard the lawnmower!! The ANC seems to cut out some frequencies really well, but I can still hear traffic and people speaking, but it is greatly reduced.

I have made some phone calls and the microphones do an excellent job of isolating my voice to the point that the person on the other end did not realise I was not on my phone directly, I used it while out walking my dogs to free up my hands, and it was a fantastic experience! If I had come into these from anything but the Sonys I would have been really impressed, as they stand, they are some excellent earphones, with very good sound quality, and excellent fit and a fantastic small form factor for both the earphones and their case.

The Sonys however have better sound quality and better noise cancelling, as well as more options for the buttons on the earphones. Cons: No ability to change the volume on the earphones, this is something I find to be a deal breaker for me and stops me from buying a pair of headphones or earphones.

Sound quality and ANC is a bit lacking compared to the XM3 Pros: Battery life, form factor, fit, QI wireless charging, handy app, find my function. In short, yes I would recommend them, but for the price I would pick up a pair of Sony XM3.

Sound: The sound for these is slightly above average. Slightly less full than the Samsung Buds Pro’s or the Elite 75t’s but luckily the app gives you a full EQ which helps allow you give the buds your preferred sound signature.

Call Quality: Is good but not as good as the marketing pretends it is. My voice sounds good to the other person, they are very quiet unless I max out the volume which then creates horrible distortion.

Also with the seal on these I get an earplug vibration from my voice which is very annoying. the other person also complained that they could hear wind noise even their it was a slight breeze and could easily hear the world around me, ironically better than me despite having hear through maxed out.

My Samsung Buds Pro are significantly better. ANC/Hear Through: The ANC is quite good and much better than my Samsung Buds Pro’s but I think this is due to the seal being better for me with the Jabra’s.

The hear through is good and sounds around you sound natural and clear but for me do not remove the earplug effect that makes my own voice vibrate in my head. Fit: These are for me the second best fitting earbuds behind the Samsung Buds Plus, super small and do not move in my ear nor do they push against the sides of my ear.

I can wear them all day at work with little to no discomfort. I love small ears and struggle to find comfortable earbuds and for me these are perfect. Buttons: The buttons are really good, it gives a satisfying click that does not require too much pressure but isnt soft enough that accidental presses happen.

The buttons are very customizable which for some reason is rare with most earbuds. Connection: This is ultimately my biggest problem with these earbuds. They are horrible with connect, huge lag time when watching videos, one earbud will randomly disconnect especially when you are turning on ANC or hear through and if that happens the earbuds will not sort out the issue on their own.

You will have to put them back in the case and wait a few seconds and hope they reconnect but in most cases you will need to reset the earbuds. Very often I use one earbud at work which is nice that either earbud works on its own but what is annoying is the other earbud that has been in the case will not immediately connect if you try to then use it, you will have to take it out and then put it back in the case a few times in order for it to connect.

These issues should not exist and I will not wait to find out if they can fix these problems in a timely manner. Charging case: This is my other issue with these earbuds. I hate the charging case, for some reason they thought it would be a good idea to put the charging port on the front which just looks dumb and they made the opening of both halves completely flush so you cannot easily open the case, I found myself having to push with an uncomfortable amount of pressure to open the case since there is no lip to help open the case, so I would imagine many people in the next year or so will end up breaking their case lip.

Conclusion: For every step forward Jabra took with these with the independent earbuds, smaller buds, improved ANC and calls, they took two steps back with the removal of multi pairing (which supposedly will come in an update), the horrible connect issues and the dumbest case design on any earbuds.

I would honestly just recommend getting the 75t’s as they sound better, have multi point connect, have a better case and sound similar enough for phone calls. Very disappointed in these.

Whats Bad: 1. Reset(7times press) required many times as the earbuds stop connecting after taken out of the charging case. 2. Also faced one earbud (say left) getting connected to Phone as soon as I took it out of charging case, while the other remained connected to the PC if you had separately connected them while one of them was in charging case.

3. If user buys two Earbuds(JLAB earbuds pro) in same home, as the earbud has same name as other, User doesn’t know which earbud is connected, untill user disconnects all earbuds from connected devices and takes them out of charging case one at a time and connects.

4. Renaming the earbuds is only possible through say phone. But that remains with phone only. Which means other devices always recognize the earbuds with their default (factory) names. 5. User cannot shutdown the earbuds using any buttons on it in order to disconnect from connnected device and connect to another.

Only way is put them back in charging case and parallely shutdown the device or disconnect from the device they were last connected with, then take them out of the charging case and connect to new device.

6. On the device they are connected to, disconnect them. As soon as you disconnect, you will hear ‘ready to pair’ voice. Now try connecting or pairing on different device (say phone or ipad or android pad etc.

), you won’t be able to connect or pair. Eventually after few minutes as you are not able to connect to any other device, you will hear the sound ‘ good bye’. Now you can never connect untill you put the earbuds back in the charging device and takeout out again for connecting.

Put them back in charging case, and take out again to connect to a device, the device cannot search or find the ‘JLab Go air pop’ name. 7. If you are not able to connect with step 6 then you have to put the earbuds in charging case and tap on the earbuds 7x times to reset it (which means same for other earbuds also).

Then take out the earbuds, they get paired with any device. 8. The fingers grip is not good While taking them out of charging case, means more chances of them slipping away from hand or due to strong magnet pull from charging case they keep falling back in case.

Whats Good: 1. Sound quality is good 2. Bass is good. 3. for taking calls say 5-10 times a day with moderate 10-15mins duration, they are good for whole day. 4. For long duration of music listening, will last approx for 4hrs+.

I’ve had one pair for three years and after this night I had to write a review, I’ll put a tldr at the end. Some context on me, I’m a brute force, dirty forgetful idiot. I use to buy skull candy earbuds and every two weeks had to get a new pair so when I upgraded to jlab I was very happy to find their basic headphones could survive me for a full year+.

After about 3 years I needed some earbuds for working out, yeah COVID dreams of getting shredded didn’t work out but these earbuds did. I typically hate earbuds as my ears are either freakishly small or the absolute Shrek ear wax that forms makes them smaller.

Well jlab deliveries again and these things are hella comfy and don’t fall out. Now skip two years and I’m working in a warehouse so imagine the dust sweat and other grime that gets on these things. They’re still kicking and going though a bit beat up and slightly faded but sound and quality are still great.

I drop them so often, step on them, leave them my hot car and so on. So skip to present and I had lost them 6 days ago, turned my house inside down and figured I managed to lose them finally. Come tonight and apparently they kept the charge long enough for me to figure out they were in the house by my phone connecting to them, and tracked them to my currently running washing machine.

They were in a puddle, soaking wet but low and behold they STILL WORK without any issues. To top this off this is THE SECOND TIME I’VE DONE THIS. Safe to say these things aren’t water resistant but water proof.

I understand companies can change how good their products are so I’ll update if they’re just as good but if they’re even a fraction of the quality it’s still worth the 20$. TLDR; I’m a dirty, Shrek ear, forgetful idiot whose dropped and put these poor earbuds through a wash cycle twice but their still kicking 10/10 would highly recommend.

I purchased these headphones as a Birthday gift to myself, I was willing to pay for a more expensive set, however after reading the review of both the $300 price level and these, everyone really had the same complaints regardless of price.

So I settled on these as the price point made sense and I was just going to use them while lumping around the house so others didn’t hear my phones annoying sounds. I do already own some very expensive and mid level headphones for work and other activities, so I feel I can give a good comparison to these ones.

The Good: Decent sound quality, touch controls for volume, track & call control, a microphone for taking calls (did not expect at this price point), light weight, great battery life (better than any of my others), can use one earphone at a time (which I prefer for taking calls), noise blocking (similar to ear plug), Google, Alexa and Siri controls, 2 year Warranty! The not so good: These are a bit lacking in the bass department, they also lack noise cancelation for calls (you get a lot of background noise), lack of hear through (at times I prefer to be able to hear my surroundings).

Obviously some more expensive headphones will perform better in these departments. Conclusion: I am certainly glad I settled on these. I’m very impressed with the quality and features they did come with.

It sure makes me wonder what margin these expensive headphones are making as I’m sure the added features they have don’t cost much more to produce, at least I won’t feel bad if I lose one of the JLab earphones.

The JLab headphones have been a great purchase and great value, I purchased a second pair to have lying around the house when I need them. I highly recommend these!.

Immediately when I began use of these earbuds, I will say that I was blown away by the quality. These are not just AirPods knockoffs but from the case to the available features, they are deserving of their own accolades as LG has done an excellent job here.

With the unpackaging experience, I will be honest that the packing and presentation of the LG True Tone earbuds is subpar. The packaging for these could as easily be the packing for $30 dollar earbuds as almost $200 ones.

However, sometimes amazing things can come wrapped in misleading exteriors because these earbuds have outstanding audio. I have long been an AirPod Pros user, and these LG earbuds are most definitely on par with the AirPod Pros for having high quality sound.

These might even outstrip the Airpod Pros by a hair or two for bass quality and presence. I have found that every little bit of bass quality you can squeeze out of earbuds this size is impressive. I am not in love with the touch and tap interface.

The controls are right at the top of the stalk of the earbud where you would normally grasp or push on to push them back into your ears if they loosen and that makes you pause the song or change the noise cancellation setting.

I have been getting used to having to grip around the outside the stalk of the earbud to make adjustments to the earbud. I really like this case. The case has good curvature with soft touch surfaces that ensures it does not protrude or poke too much in your pocket if that is where you carry them.

There are good cases for them, so if you prefer to clip these to keys or a lanyard, that could be an option for you. The inside of the case is great as well. I find that it is highly intuitive to put the earbuds back into their proper spots and there is some nifty blue lighting for when you open the case up which is nice in the dark when you want to put them back.

The UV sanitation light works only when you are charging the case, but I think this is a cool feature to have available. Just note, the UV light is not going to be able to kill bacteria and sanitize these earbuds through layers and layers of earwax, so make sure to do your part and keep these clear and free of your ear gunk for a proper sanitization experience.

I love the USB-C pass through cord included for airplane’s etc. Essentially, you plug the 3. 5mm jack end of the cord into the auxiliary port of a given device and then plug the USB-C plug end into your case while you have the earbuds in your ears.

You then toggle the switch on the side of the case, and you should be in business. You can also utilize this “wired-wireless” feature with computers or televisions when you don’t want to bother with Bluetooth connection.

On the note of Bluetooth connection, these earbuds do have occasional little random audio glitches and stutters that I have found nearly unavoidable with most all Bluetooth headphones. However, the range on these is absolutely outstanding.

I was doing chores in my house the other day and normally when I go in my garage and close the door with my phone in the living room, the audio starts to stutter and drop with other Bluetooth headphones, headsets, and earbuds I have tried.

The True Tone FP9’s held in there and maintained a solid connection to my iPhone 8 as dependably as my AirPod Pros! Overall, I feel that for non-Apple ecosystem individuals, these are an absolute no-brainer for AirPod like convenience and audio quality.

For Apple users, I feel like there is so much more utility with the AirPod Pros that it is difficult to depart from at this small of a price difference. However, LG has made a winning product here and they deserve your attention and time as you are making your purchasing decision.

Good sounding ANC earbuds, but love the wireless plug-in feature most of all. It lets you plug the case into any headphone jack and basically turns it into a bluetooth transmitter for the headphones.

It’s a really handy feature that I found myself using way more than I thought I would. I keep the bluetooth connected to my phone, and I use the plug-in feature to quickly hook up to my laptop or desktop.

This makes it an easy hook up to my work computer too, but it’s only for audio, so I have to use the bluetooth connection to use the mic for Zoom and Teams. Not a big deal. I also like how I can use just 1 ear bud and it doesn’t matter which side.

It seamlessly disconnects and reconnects when I decide to use the other one again, which is kind of amazing considering other high end brands struggle to make this transition so smooth. If you decide to keep both earbuds in, the Ambient Sound mode works great at letting environmental sounds through with a natural tone and there’s a vocal focus feature that works great at projecting voices more clearly.

The active noise canceling is solid at muffling loud sounds and crowd noise, but it doesn’t go totally silent. To get the best sound and noise canceling experience, be sure to try out all of the earbud cushion sizes to find the best fit.

The ANC needs a good ear seal to work properly, and that goes for the sound quality as well. Which leads me to an odd experience I have with these. The earbud cushions are soft, medical grade material, but it almost feels like they’re too soft.

They feel weird when I put them in, like they don’t seem to “lock” in like my other earbuds do, but they stay in place well and are comfortable enough that I forget I’m wearing them sometimes. I think I’m just used to a firmer cushion and need to get more used to the softer style.

A good ear seal is critical to good audio and noise canceling for these kinds of headphones. With the LG Tone Free app, you can access the adjustable EQ, noise canceling, ambient sound, touch pad control, and a few other feature settings.

Audio is tuned by Meridian, which excited me as an old school audiophile, but I wasn’t blown away. They sound good overall, the sound is full and the bass is detailed, but there’s a certain “openness” to the soundstage that’s missing.

Like the sound is well controlled, but a little restrained… if that makes sense. But while it’s not the absolute best sounding ANC earbuds out there, they’re certainly one of the most useful. The case is tiny, yet holds an additional 24 hours of charge, doubles as a bluetooth transmitter, and even has a built-in UV sterilization light to keep the earbuds sanitary.

The earbuds are low profile, attractive, and offer good sound quality with excellent ambient sound pass through. If you’re constantly hooking up to multiple devices, travel frequently, or have a lot of audio devices without a bluetooth connection, I highly recommend the LG Tone Free FP9 headphones.

These Technics True Wireless Earbuds are impressive! The small carrying and charging case makes it easy to take them anywhere and easily fits into my pocket or purse, it keeps them safe and protected while refilling their charge.

I was blown away by the sound quality as they truly pack a punch! I love using them when I work out, they do not fall out even when running and doing high intensity workouts! They are comfortable and come with different sized tips to ensure a perfect fit, which is also important to get the best sound.

I absolutely love the clear sound, vocals sound crystal clear, never muffled, and a high quality deep bass enriches the listening experience and lets me enjoy all the different types of music genres to the fullest and also listen to audio books! Not only are these earbuds amazing but the accompanying app lets you pick from different preset audio modes, such as bass boosted, vocal enhanced, treble boosted and more.

And for those of us who like to customize and fine tune their audio to perfection, there is even an equalizer to fine tune the sound to your personal liking! Another outstanding feature that comes with the app is the “Find my headphones” feature that will help you locate the earbuds if you misplace them! When activated the earbuds will emit a sound to help you find them.

Also, a “last location used” feature shows you the exact location on a map in case you should ever lose them when out and about. I also like that I can use these to answer calls hands free, the voice quality is great and touch controls are simple and intuitive.

I love these earbuds and highly recommend them! They are amazing, and if you’re considering them do not hesitate and get them! You will love them!.

In brief: my husband and I really like these earbuds for the sound quality…. but not when they are in Ambient mode. Initial Setup: The app prompted me to download a firmware update, which I did. The rest of setup was intuitive, and the app walks you through the steps.

Bonus points for ease of use! Sound quality: the sound quality overall is great, with different sound enhancement options (Treble+, Dynamic, a Customized option etc). The differences are minor, but it is nice to have these options.

The Ambient mode allows you to better hear sounds around you — which can be a safety feature if running along a road, walking alone, etc. There is a bit of background noise in Ambient mode that sounds like rushing water.

I found this hardly noticeable at lower volumes, but more noticeable when listening to certain songs at a higher volume. It bothered my husband at both volume levels, so I think he would likely choose not to use the Ambient mode at all.

Also, when compared to another pair of wireless earbuds I own: I didn’t notice as much of a difference between how well I could hear surrounding sounds in Ambient vs. Regular Mode. I really like how compact the case is, and the fact that it has a snazzy silver finish that matches the ear buds.

However, I don’t like how tight the charging cord fits in the back. I feel like I’m going to break something when I pull the cord out, which is somewhat worrisome. So far so good though! I did swap out the regular size earpieces for the smaller size, and the earbuds come with four different sizes of earpieces.

Overall: great purchase for sound quality, but if you plan to primarily use Ambient mode, you might want to choose a different brand of ear buds.

I bought these earbuds in May 2022. In July 2022,problems started. I fully charge the earbuds before I connect to my desktop. When I attempt to connect via bluetooth, I need to delete previous versions of Phillips Tat2206 and reconnect.

While listening to what is on video the right earbud loses the connection and sound becomes distorted. I really hope there is a warranty, but, I can’t find one. Don’t bye.

The sound is very clear, barely has any bass to it. i like my headphones to have a bit of punch. They are also a struggle to keep them in my ears. Tried all 3 sizes and they still fall off. The quality is amazing and they do connect to the phone in an instant.

Perhaps for someone who doesn’t have an issue with headphones falling from their ears these would be a great choice.

I bought these at the airport as I needed some earphones for my holiday and to be honest I’m very disappointed. They are uncomfortable after less than an hour they hurt my ears. The Bluetooth is poor any sort of blockage of sight and they cut out even when my phone was under my leg they cut out.

Unfortunately I expected better and definitely would avoid these.

I purchased these a couple of weeks ago to help drown out the neighbourly noise. First thing I would say is don’t give up after the first night! They take a little getting used to- how to fit them in your ear, the volume level… The first night was a bit of a disaster for me but quickly I got used to them and now I struggle to sleep without.

Though it’s true what all the reviews say- these earplugs are small and light in the ear, as a side sleeper they are ‘good’, but not ‘perfect’. They can still press into the ear when you sleep on the side, and sometimes this effects both comfort and sound.

Having said all that I sleep with them every night now and it has been a game changer. There’s no need to press them into your ear firmly. Though it might feel like they will fall out, they really don’t.

The other thing that I like about this product is that if you are someone with a busy mind at night, the noise so close to your ear actually helps quiet that down. If you are someone with night time anxiety, I would definitely recommend you try them.

Everyone is different- I needed to take a break from them because one ear started to hurt from the consistent use of them. After one night having not worn them it’s fine. They are very light and breathable compared to other earplugs.

Finally, ah yes, the price. They are expensive and I understand anyone who hesitates to purchase… of course Bose understands: there is no price for a good nights rest. And it’s true… Though not perfect, I definitely recommend this product, yes- even for side sleepers.

I am grateful that they are on the market for anyone struggling with sleep.

left speaker broke after 5 months of constant use. oh well. going to try another brand. but it was fun while it lasted. decent sound quality for the price and it was pretty comfortable to sleep in.

These are great! I wish Id gotten them earlier, theyre way more comfortable than my Apple ear buds.

I have and have had several earbud style headphones. These have excellent sound and features but they do have a couple of issues. Why a one-star deduction and why wouldn’t I pay full price. The one-star deduction is because no matter what tips I use I cannot get the earbuds to fit securely in my ears.

I get them to seal but because of the short speaker stem they do not allow the tip to go far enough in my ear canal to get a tight fit. The seal is easily broken with activity and they always feel like they are going to fall out.

The other issue i have with these is while noise cancelling works fairly well noise blocking is virtually nonexistent. Not sure why an earbud that touts itself at noise reduction would not pay any attention to ambient noise levels and not just droning noise.

Of course this may be slightly affected because of the fitment issue. So, putting those two issues aside let’s say everything about these was perfect. Why wouldn’t I pay full price? First, let me say again.

Even with the issues I described these sound very good and have a number of features that others simply don’t have. I would not pay full price because there are other noise cancelling earbuds on the market that cost a fraction of what these do, have excellent sound, about the same battery life and perform just as well.

Yes they may lack many of the features, don’t come with such nice packaging, extra tips and such yet the sound and call quality are on par with these. Let’s face it, if you are like me you will set the eq to your liking, you may even customize the tap features to how you want them beyond that however, the app really is not needed.

The newer Bluetooth protocols allow you to see battery life on phone, most phones have built in equalizer, and the tap features will be memorized with use. I will use these around the house and I am fairly certain that I will be happy with them for what they are but I will likely not repurchase.

I decided to buy these earbuds after watching a few reviews on YouTube. My go-to true wireless earbuds are first the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro followed by the Galaxy Buds Plus (since I’m a Samsung phone user).

I absolutely love the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro earbuds and they are my preferred earbuds to use while on my laptop for work or gaming and when casually listening to music. My main gripe with the Razer earbuds are that the touch controls do not include a long press for volume+/volume- (even when modifying through the Razer Hammerhead app), which is the main reason I bought the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro earbuds.

In addition to these earbuds having great sound quality and noise cancellation, the downloadable app is by far the most feature-rich wireless earbud application I’ve ever seen. The app sports 22 preset equalizers and allows you to customize and save up to 15 additional equalizers.

You do have to set up a profile, which I didn’t mind because it allowed me to download the app and login on both my personal (Android) and work (Apple) phones and allow for all of my presets to be uniform across both these devices.

Another couple of cool and helpful features is that the app has a HearID Map test, which “maps” your hearing sensitivity at multiple frequencies and develops a personalized EQ based on the results, and the app also has a Tip Fit Test to ensure you’re using the right size earbud tips for a proper fit and no sound leakage.

The only cons (very minimal) that I have about these earbuds are that they do take a bit of getting used to since they are shaped differently than most in-ear earbuds and there is no continuous long press touch functionality for volume+/volume-.

Instead, when the touch functions are preset to volume+/volume- a two-second long press only raises or lowers the volume by one increment. Additionally, since there are only the double tap and “hold for two-seconds” press touch options on the earbuds all of the functions cannot be mapped to the earbuds (all functions available are volume+/volume-, next track, previous track, play/pause, voice assistant, and ambient sound).

I ended up mapping mine for double tap to next track on thr right earbud and previous track on the left earbud with volume+ (right earbud)/volume- (left earbud) for the hold for two-seconds function.

Would have liked an additional single tap function for a pause/play and voice assistant/ambient sound function in each earbud. There is a feature in the app to pause music if one earbud is removed though, and this does still support listening to music if one earbud is removed and the other is left in – just have to hit play on your device after removing the first earbud.

Despite these minor shortfalls, I would still recommend the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro. Especially for their sound quality and feature-rich app capabilities.

These are AMAZING! I purchased these to replece the Skullcandy Indy evo xt’s i bought a couple of days ago, because they sucked, and these are an amazing jump in quality. From the box and the actual earbuds themselves, its nothing but high quality.

The box contains 9 different pairs of replacement eartips, so they are almost guaranteed to fit, unless you have really weired ears. The earbuds are made from some kind of metal, and the case is made of a high quality plastic.

With the Soundcore app these earbuds support LDAC audio, which basically means it supports high bitrate audio streaming through the earbuds, which is amazing. The case has wireless charging. The earbuds have noise canceling, and the noise canceling is actually better on these than they are on my Skullcandy Hesh ANC’s.

With this all said, Soundcore may be replacing my Skullcandy Hesh ANC’s. These definitely compete with the Apple Airpods, for the same price you get noise canceling, A wireless charging case, and LDAC support for audio streaming.
