I’m lucky enough to live on a 26 mile long island, so a beach cruiser is a must! I was initially drawn to sixthreezero because of the beautiful design of their bikes. The style is quintessential beach cruiser – big, cushy tires, bright, beachy colors and generous back bike rack for essentials.

I decided on the EVRYjourney in yellow. The color just exudes happiness and good vibes! Their customer service was always super helpful and easy to deal with. I received my bike quickly (which was surprising due to the pandemic) and had it put together by a local bike shop (tools and such are not my jam) and immediately fell in love! The ride is super smooth and easy going.

The gears shift with ease, which is helpful because there is always an island breeze to deal with. The wide seat is very comfortable and has enough give so even the big bumps in the road don’t hurt. The wide position of the handlebars keep you sitting tall, taking the stress out of the lower back.

I recently rode a 26 mile fundraiser in just 2 hours and felt great afterwards! LOVE my bike, LOVE sixthreezero!.

My wife and I ordered new bikes in the middle of summer 2020. As might be expected due to the bike shortage in the midst of the pandemic, we had trouble finding bikes anywhere locally, or alternatively available for direct shipment to us.

We learned that most bike manufacturers do not ship direct To consumers but rather to local dealers for assembly/delivery to the end customer. As such, we initially looked into six three zero bikes because they seemed to have bikes in stock (or at least scheduled to be in stock within a few weeks), and we could get the bikes delivered directly to us.

We got our bikes in August/September. They arrived well packaged and without any in shipment damage (no scratches, dents, dings etc. ). There was some minimal assembly we had to do at home (and we knew this ahead of time, as the self-assembly aspect is plainly stated on six three zero’s website).

The assembly directions were very easy to follow, and all necessary tools were included in the packaging. Essentially, the frame itself and rear wheel assembly come already assembled; and we just needed to (1) install the front wheel/skewer assembly; (2) connect the brake lines (which were already installed integrally on the frame portion) to the front wheel assembly; (3) screw on the fenders and rear rack; (4) and install/adjust the seat post and seat.

The whole process took about 30-45 minutes. Since then, we have been riding our bikes several times a week (both on bike paths and on uneven/potholed streets around town), and they are fantastic! The bikes physically look great.

Mine is all matte black with a light blue strip On the frame just forward of the seat. The matte black has scratched in a few places (due to normal wear and tear and as I expected it would), but a sharpie does a fair job of covering the small scratches.

The Shimano gear shifter has been smooth, with no sticking (although I frankly don’t move out of 4th for the most part). The brakes are right and have not needed any adjustment. The rear rack is also a great standard included feature, and it is compatible with many readily available accessories, including rear baby seats, which I use regularly.

The bike also fits well on a standard trailer-hitch mounted multi-bike car rack. All in all, my wife and I could not be happier with our six three zero bikes, and the ordering experience was absolutely seamless, which given the current pandemic situation was exactly what we needed.

Also, the follow up by the six three zero customer service team, in terms of registering our bikes and purchasing the available warranty, was top notch. I would highly recommend six three zero bikes for anyone looking to get a new, fairly priced, general use bike for recreational/around-town riding.

I have the Women’s Evryjourney in yellow and I really enjoy it! I get compliments on it whenever I am out riding. This is my first “cruiser” type bicycle and I can say that I am 100% converted! I will never go back to a mountain bike; sitting upright with the slightly forward pedaling motion and having my arms relaxed is a game changer.

No more sore wrists and shoulders from leaning over the handlebars. Overall, I am pleased with the bike. I have a few reasons for taking a few stars away on the review: 1. The brakes are squeaky and they feel almost cheap.

In reading other’s reviews it sounds like this is an inherent issue due to the smooth texture of the rims. Smooth brake pad rubbing on smooth rims = squeaky brakes. I also don’t 100% trust the brakes if I were going at a moderate to high speed.

They just don’t seem to engage very strongly and I don’t fully trust them to stop me quickly if I needed to. Riding around the neighborhood with my kids is fine (this is mostly what I use my bike for), but I wouldn’t feel comfortable going much faster due to the brakes feeling “flimsy”.

2. My front fender arrived bent and the paint had cracked where the bend was in the metal. I submitted a warranty claim with an explanation and pictures of the bent fender, and I was sent a tiny bottle of yellow paint.

Painting the cracked paint doesn’t fix the bend. Disappointed that sixthreezero didn’t fully fix the issue. 3. Getting the bike took FOREVER. I pre-ordered it and expected it to arrive on the date that was listed when I pre-ordered, but it didn’t arrive until several months after I was originally told that I would get it.

I get that COVID created a high demand for bikes, but seriously. Don’t promise your customers that it will arrive on a certain date when they order it if you can’t deliver on that timeframe.

Got the bike a couple weeks ago and have been using it off and on and I must say so far it has been great. Right out the box it was ready to go, and even the battery was fully charged. I had to adjust the the shimano derailleur because it wouldn’t shift properly into the lowest gear.

Now that i have it adjusted for the low gear, the highest gear is having issues and i am out of room for adjusting. I can live with it since i am using this mostly offroad for hunting. The throttle and PAS are super powerful and launch you quickly so prepare for that.

I had to go into the settings and change the power to start at 30% for the first gear. I used the 0-9 setting and edited the first two gears so i can have a more gradual start since in tight turns on trails i found that 40% was to much to try to maintain low speeds.

I weigh 190lbs and was able to get the bike up to 36km (according to the speedo) using only 70% power on flat paved road. I havent put many km’s on it but it has handled great and the brakes work well.

I am very impressed. Folding it is pretty easy and loading it into a truck is simple. When removing the battery make sure the frame is pointed up! I had the battery come sliding out and landed on the frozen ground and broke off the plastic outer ring (keeps the battery positioned in the frame), it still fits fine but be careful when removing the battery and make sure the frame is not pointing down even a small angle.

I am 5’10” and the handle bar was set fine, i only adjusted the seat post up a few inches. The seat is fairly comfortable and the lights work great. I added some rubber to the mudguards because going through muddy trails was getting my boots and pant legs dirty on turns.

Not the end of the world. Overall i am very impressed with the bike. I got the 750w and probably could have gone with the 500w for my needs. Maybe i will appreciate that extra power when hauling a deer out of the woods lol.

My husband and I wanted the bikes to tour different cities or to use when going to work on occasion. We took them to Niagara region and had a blast. They have great pick up and control on the road. We have only been off-road once but they handled the gravel and the turns.

We got 60 km and I was down to two bars so not sure if they would go 100 km with pedal assist maybe if you stayed in first gear. My husband was at three bars so some variability. The bikes rides well even without the pedal assist so you can ride nicely and I have chosen to do that at times.

The shifting is easy. I have no trouble with the brakes. The bike takes getting used to and is heavy. We put baskets on the back. A better horn system is required especially when tiding on the road. The fit in our car folded but they are heavy to lift.

A nice looking bike and comfortable to ride. Put about 80 kms on it so far. It can get to 45 km/h, pulling 1000 watts and that’s it. Believe it had more but the speed and power are limited at the controller.

Still happy with it. Really impressed with how well it pulls uphill. Seems VERY touchy with starting out from a stop using the pedals. Best idea to get going is to use the throttle to start moving and THEN start pedaling.

Always keep your hands on the brakes so if the bike starts to get away from you, and that will happen very quickly, you can disable the motor and stop with the brakes. Overall, very happy with the bike and look forward to more rides.

I purchased the Pace 500 Step Thru for my wife. She is a petite 5’1” in stature so finding a eBike frame that fits her height is difficult. The 2022 PACE 500 Step Thru S/M frame range starts at 5’1”, so we were crossing our fingers that she can handle and control this eBike well.

The PACE 500 was easy to assemble, along with the mud guards (fenders) accessory. Watch the instruction videos before starting to the eBike together. It will eliminate guessing. My wife hopped on her PACE 500 very easily and the upright design gave her the control and comfort she was looking for in a eBike.

She is very happy with her 2022 PACE 500 Step Thru eBike. My wife synced her PACE 500 eBike with the Aventon PACE app on her iPhone, and customized her bike to her preference. The color digital display is very easy to ready and looks great.

She can control her pedal assist very easy from the perfectly placed button control on the left hand side of the handle bar and can shift effortlessly by the trigger shifter on the right side of the handle bar.

The integrated front and rear lights embedded on the rear post look so great. The rear lights are bright for safety. The PACE 500 performs excellent. The throttle is responsive, the cadence sensor is pretty responsive compared to others that I have tried (but not as responsive as torque sensors), and the upright posture design makes riding more comfortable that leaning forward.

The PACE 500 Step Thru weight is in the low 50 lbs, not 60 or 70 lbs. Are there any improvements that I can mention? Here are some recommendations that I see could improve the already upgraded PACE 500.

1. Eliminate the auto dim when the lights are turned on. During the day, you cannot see the display when wearing sunglasses (with or without polarization). I would recommend manually dimming the display to your preference if needed.

In the day even if the display is not dimmed, you can barely easy the display with sunglasses on. 2. To power on the PACE 500, you need to turn the battery on first before turning on the PACE 500 via the color display.

You also have to continuously push the battery power button down and count to 5 before the battery turns on (at least with my wife’s PACE 500). It would be much easier just to attached the battery and power up the PACE 500 thru the display like most other eBikes.

3. Including fenders and a back rack (both will cost an additional $135) would make the PACE 500 the GOAT of eBikes in turns of cost and quality. My wife purchased a front weaved basket for her PACE 500 and I purchased the fenders ($85) for her bike.

Overall, the 2022 PACE 500 looks sleek and performs great. It is a high recommendation for anyone looking to buy an eBike for the first time.

Purchased my 2nd Sinch in March 2022. This time it was the Red step through. Previous purchase was the 2021 step over. Wow! Where do I start? The step over model was the most fun I have had on a bike in the last 30 years.

until I bought the step through. Everything is just a little better. The frame geometry is even more comfortable, the tires quiet and cushy, the handling responsive, the gearing and brakes smooth and quiet, folding is easy, battery removal easy, and obviously getting off and on is easy with the step through frame.

Construction of the previous model was great, the construction and attention to detail on the new step through is over the top. The pedal assist has been tuned to make the take off smoother, and I have over all better control of my peddle assist levels, and shifting.

Put over 900 miles on the step over. Already have 50 on the step through. Have thoroughly ridden and tested both models. I am 5’11” and 290lb and this bike performs great. Not just on flat ground, but on hills as well.

The upright riding position allows me to see all around me and even easily glance up to see the occasional eagle or hawk. I love riding this bike, and really look forward to every opportunity to get on it.

First off – LOVE everything about this bike. It’s my first ebike. I researched forever and am so happy with my choice. It feels great, runs smoothly, and it’s good looking. I got a lot of compliments as soon as my first time out.

Now, the reasons I can’t go to five stars: 1. For the money, I would expect to have some accessories included. BUT, with the $200 accessories included, not THAT big of a deal. 2. Much harder to fold and unfold than I expected.

The hinge is really tight. 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY – on my first ride, a little more than halfway through, my screen froze up and the control module wouldn’t work. I was stuck in pedal assist 2 and nothing was changing or recording on screen.

I couldn’t even turn it off. Ultimately, I unhinged the bike to break connection with the battery and started it back up – then everything was fine. I hope to not have a major issue with the control module.

It was concerning. Hoping it was a fluke, but would love to know if this has been an issue with the Sinches? Either way, I would highly recommend this bike to anyone!.

Overall I really like the bike and am glad I made the purchase. It’s well built, looks good and rides good. The battery life seems excellent so far. Here are some things I think can be improved: 1. I didn’t like the hand grips.

they were too stiff/harsh/sandpaperish for me, so I replaced them. 2. When shifting, lots of times it doesn’t switch to the gear or is half way in bewteen so I have to push the shifter again or halfway push it to get into gear.

I suspect this will be easily fixed when I take it in for the initial tune up. 3. The rear brakes squeek A LOT. Also hoping this will be an easy fix when I take it in for a tune up. 4. The other issues are minor, this is a big one and only Aventon can do this — I wish instead of 5 assist levels, there were 10.

Most of the time I only need up to level 2 PAS. But usually I would really like something in between zero, 1 and 2. More granular control over the assistance. There is quite a bit of power difference between 1 and 2 so if there were 10 levels, 1 would be 2 and 2 would be 4, so I could use 3, which would be in between what is now 1 and 2.

My husband was told by his doctor to get a hepa air purifier for the bedroom to help with his allergies. We researched our options and decided on the BreatheSmart Flex for two reasons. A larger Alen air purifier was chosen the best unit by Consumer Reports for 2022 and we wanted to buy from a company whose main product was air purifiers not toaster ovens or coffee pots.

Our purifier arrived within a week of purchase. It was packaged with engineering precision (think Apple product. ) I love the way it looks and it was very easy to set up. We installed the filter and plugged it in.

The flex unit has 4 speeds. We leave it on 24/7 usually at speed 2 or 3. During the night we turn it to speed 1 and it is so quiet I have gotten out of bed to see if it is working. Does it work? My husband has been sleeping better, less sneezing and nose blowing.

But the real pollen season for our area is just getting started, so we are cautiously optimistic. I have noticed that the kitchen odors we sometimes smelled in our second floor bedroom are nonexistent.

Finally, I like the replacement filter subscription plan. We signed up when we registered our air purifier. It makes sense to use an Alen filter in our unit because it’s only going to work as well as the filter you use.

I have a very sensitive nose when it comes to smells, but I really love having pets. The smell was really starting to get to me so I decided to give this a try, and I’m so glad I did. This air purifier is a powerhouse! I got the OdorCell filter for it and it works like a charm.

I tested it after doing some of the stinkiest tasks in the house such as taking out the kitchen trash and emptying the litter genie, and ten minutes max was all it needed to remove every bad odor floating around the room.

It’s also extremely quiet even when it’s turned on high, the noise it makes just slips into the background so no need to turn up the volume on the TV when you have it on. Overall, a really great product, it works great even with heavy pet odor.

The only tiny complaint I have is that the white front panel is very staticky which isn’t great when you have shedding pets, I’ll probably buy a different front panel in the future since, luckily, Alen has several very nice options to choose from.

We have two of the Alen T500 units, purchased in the past 2 years. Those are good and reliable, with good filter life in general household (bedroom) use. Went with the BreatheSmart FLEX unit this time as I wanted something quieter, and it is definitely that.

When running on its lowest speed, it’s quieter than the air conditioning. On speed 2, it’s about the same level of noise as when our air conditioning is blowing through the vents, maybe slightly louder than that.

By comparison, I’d say the T500 on its lowest speed is slightly louder than the BreatheSmart FLEX on speed 2. However, having run the T500 in my bedroom at night, I would characterize it as white noise that can easily be tolerated, and might even be helpful to those who like white noise for sleep.

The downside of the BreatheSmart FLEX is it takes up more floor space than the T500.

This is my first e-bike and it has helped me to rediscover my childhood enjoyment of bike riding on a whole new scale. Although I’ve enjoyed riding bikes when the setting called for it (down in Seaside on vacation, or around the neighborhood with the kids), I’ve never been a serious cyclist.

This new bike from Aventon has nonetheless been easy to set up, and a real blast to ride. I’ve found myself riding all around our little town here in Georgia (the abundant bike and golf cart paths help) without the slightest concern about running out of steam, or some joint acting up miles from home.

It’s been totally liberating and tons of fun. e-bikes in general are a great way to get around, and this Aventon unit is an excellent example: well built, long lasting battery (Aventon claims about 45 miles and I have no reason to doubt this), quality components like hydraulic disc brakes, nice fat tires, and intuitive operation.

For those new to e-bikes, it’s worth noting that an e-bike is not like a motor scooter or electric motorbike in that e-bikes generally need to be pedaled. The system allows you to add a variable amount of electric assistance to your own pedaling, making long rides and steep hills a breeze.

Because the assistance is adjustable, you can get as much or as little exercise as you like. There’s also a throttle that can be used in a pinch to keep moving even without pedaling, but generally you control the speed via your legs, making the bike easy to use and control.

This also means that the bike isn’t going to run away from you (or with you) since it will stop when you stop the pedals. In my experience, the Aventure was well behaved. You can definitely feel the assist kicking in after starting to turn the pedals, but generally the motor is well controlled, especially at the lower assistance levels.

The disc brakes are easy to modulate and confidence inspiring. The seat is comfortable, but could probably be changed out (there’s a quick release) if you wanted something different. It’s worth noting that this bike does NOT have a quick release on the front wheel, so you need to pack a wrench if you intend to dismount the wheel.

The bike includes a surprisingly effective headlight (given its small size) and a nice bright red tail and brake light, both of which make it reasonably easy to spot even as the sun goes down. Aventon ships this bike in a very well packaged box and all components are thoughtfully protected.

Assembly is not difficult, even for the uninitiated, and all needed tools are supplied. Just add a helmet and a pump for the tires. That said, Aventon suggests having a local bike shop put it together for you and that’s not a terrible idea, especially if you’re concerned about the weight of this unit.

My bike did need some minor adjustments, but so far I’ve been able to do anything needed at home. Pros: – Well made and attractively designed, with the battery neatly integrated into the frame. – Excellent performance with tons of power for high speed cruising (up to 28 mph) and steep hill climbs.

– Big fat tires and suspension mean it can easily traverse even rough terrain. – Long battery life. After a ride of about 7 miles, my bike was still above 90% (the official range figure is about 45 miles).

– Good quality hardware – hydraulic brakes are very strong and even the small included headlight is quite effective at night (an upgraded unit is available if needed). – Easy to assemble with all required parts, tools, and charger included.

– Good service and support. – Control unit can connect to an app on your phone for logging and tracking as well as deeper configuration of speed limits and assistance options. – Step through or step over designs in a variety of sizes and colors.

Cons: – Heavy. Removing the battery can help make it easier to transport. – No front wheel quick release. – Like all bikes, it will require some periodic service, and the heavy nature of e-bikes means certain consumables like brake pads wear more quickly than for regular bikes.

Overall I couldn’t be happier with my Aventure and am looking forward to many enjoyable hours with the wind in my hair and a strong motor to back me up when my legs run out of push.

Have ridden this on 12 mile rides, ride it around town to go grocery shopping and have bought an MIK bike crate, grocery panniers for utility. The same keyed ABUS cafe lock and battery lock is very convenient.

The Bosch Activeline plus is fine for around town – but if you are doing big hills, this might be underpowered. Torque numbers: TURBO: 50 SPORT: 45 TOUR: 40 ECO: 35. The 400Wh battery barely went down after only one bar after a 12 mile ride on varied gentle terrain.

The assist feels very natural and smooth. The only thing I wish it had is a suspension fork, a more easily adjustable handlebar, and water bottle cage attachment screws. My husband and son have taken to riding my bike, the seat is easy to adjust and comfortable.

All in all, I’m really enjoying it and is a nice cruiser. I highly prefer the mid-drive over the hub drive in case you need to change the tire and wouldn’t use a throttle. It isn’t overly heavy (for an non-high end e-bike) and we have transported it on our Thule T2, but I like to strap it down for extra security since it does have fenders (which view as critical for a around town bike).

Let me start by saying REI was wonderful in taking care of us during this experience. I test rode the step through, the new version, as well as this step over. I ultimately decided to purchase the step over.

We went on a 29 mile ride. After 1 hill during the first mile, the pedal assist gave out. It gave out for 10 miles. Eventually we were able to get the pedal assist to work; HOWEVER, it “died” about 15 times for me.

I switched bikes with my boyfriend (he has the co-op 1. 1 electric and it works flawlessly) and he counted the pedal assist failing 27 times, approx 1-2 times per mile for the 14. 5 mile ride home. We’re in our late 30s, in great shape, and ride our manual bikes regularly….

luckily, he was able to pedal up the hills necessary to get us home. This bike is heavy, which is expected as it is a beach cruiser + the battery weight, etc. I will say that it is very comfortable to ride, I love the flat foot technology, but its awkward to stand and ride to get up hills.

I owned this bike for less than 1 day before returning. REI was very understanding and gave a full refund.

The bike took just a few trails for me to set up how I liked it. You get great rolling speed from the 29″ wheels and feels stable in the turns. Mine is an XL as I’m 6’3″ which is border line for the L.

OnceI got the hang of the dropper post the downhills were great and the climbs were made easier with the Bosch motor. I’m in my sixties and haven’t done any real riding for years but have had a blast on the Focus Jam2, excellent German engineering at a great price.

Great bike. Many XT components included. Fox 36 is awesome for hard terrains. No carbon so ebike is on the heavy side but feels very strong.

Purchase was made but because of covid I had to wait a while, received the bike in time for my trip to Scotland and have to say the bike didn’t let me down.
