You do not need to worry about the old reviews about the gi shrinking because now you can wash the gi in cold water and hang dry without the gi becoming smaller. Note that if you intentionally want the gi to shrink you can wash it in hot water and put it in the dryer.

Our single weave gi is more durable than other single weave kimonos. The fabric also has a performance treatment which helps to extend the lifespan of the gi.
I ordered the black and purple gi. I’m 145 and 5’5”. The pants are short which is ok but the crotch is low. I’d have to pull the pants up halfway between my belly button and chest to get the crotch to hit the right area.
If I wear them around my waist it looks like my crotch is sagging way down and the pants are still short so kind of a weird cut. The gi top is a little big. I’m hoping that part shrinks. The gi is cheap so I didn’t have high expectations.
I probably won’t wear this gi rolling since the pants fit so strangely. Anyway the gi is super pretty and since I’m a purple belt I love the way the trim matches the belt. I’ll mostly like just wear this gi when teaching the kids class.
I’ve washed the gi twice so far, in cold water and hung to dry and the jacket now fits perfectly but the pants, while they are the right length, are ridiculously wide in the waist, the hips and the legs.
So much fabric for my grappling partners to grab onto. I’m 5’5″, 125lb so I bought size F2 as recommended by the sizing chart. The gi was described as having a “tapered, athletic cut” but that’s not an accurate description of the pants at all.
I like the gi jacket; it was reasonably priced and the weight of the fabric is perfect for the hot, tropical climate I live in but I’ll be wearing a different brand of pants with it.
W3 for my daughter who is 5’4 and 140lb. Out of the package it fit fine. One cold wash and air layer…she hates it. The tapered women’s fit is too much for her. She has worn it twice and I’m already going to donate it to someone at the gym.
Another woman at the gym ordered the same w3 and it had a much longer top. 🤷🏿♂️ Ordered an A2 essential for her to replace it already.

Still absolutely loving this Gi. I ordered the white Gi in A1 and the fit is true to form. This Gi has what feels like a custom tailored fit. I almost always have to order A1 top and A2 bottoms as there is usually something about the pant length that isn’t true to my body type, even though I am proportionate for my weight/height.
The Lightweight Pearl Weave Gi is the best fitting Gi I have ever rolled in, period! I don’t know how Hayabusa does it but every product that I’ve ordered has left me wanting to order more so that I have back ups.
Excellent quality of construction, strong stitching, breathable yet touch and durable material, a not overstated but subtle yet attractive branding and a fit like no other Gi that I have worn. This Gi is my go to Gi, hands down! Nice and snug, not too snug, but perfectly fitting Gi both the pants and the jacket.
No chafing under the arms or along any areas where there is stitching, while it’s also not a parachute of a Gi where your hands are slipping in and out of the sleeves or where your lapel finds its way around your shoulders while training.
It seems that there is no excess of material anywhere so it makes for a nice contoured fit to the body. The lapel shapes perfectly around the neck and the cut of the jacket makes for a nice, streamlined fit around the bottom so that you don’t have excess material to tuck away beneath the belt.
The drawcord around the waist is perfect for securing the pants to your waist and after tying it off, the pants have 4 loop rings to stash the chord out of the way so that it won’t wriggle free and come untied during training.
Also, nice attention to detail like the stitching on the inside of the Gi has a nice strip of material with the Hayabusa branding which is just a nice finishing touch to add a little style where you wouldn’t otherwise expect it.
What else can I say other than that I am certain that I will be buying a few more in time so I can have one for every day of the week!.
I bought it as an extra gi just to have. I’m an old black belt and have been training 17 years. I’ve had tons of gis, every other one of them was more expensive. This is by far my favorite gi, and I like it better than my other, more expensive Hayabusa.
It’s lightweight, very high quality, moves incredibly well, and has lasted quite awhile. I’m buying another one soon and these will probably be the main gi I use going forward.
Lapel on the Gi is thick and hard to grip which is nice. The seem on the wrist is pretty thin and easy to grip if you are competing that could be a problem. As far as the quality I’ve been using it for two weeks and it fits nicely and is pretty durable at least this far.
I recommend it if you are looking for a quality gi. It’s light enough where I feel great while training as opposed to other thick style Gis.

My favorite gis! I bought the purple and green. The fit is fantastic! It’s not easy to find gis that fit shorter people. It’s super light weight too! The mint green and lavender are beautiful and just as they were pictured on the site.

Love the color! Fit is quite good. Fabric feels of nice quality and it washed well. My only negative is some of the reinforcement stitching on the pants has some pulls as if the tension was wrong on the sewing machine.

I love the color and the jacket is gorgeous and perfect however the pants are gigantic! I own several F2 gi from Tatami and all of the sizing of the pants has been consistent except for this one. The pants are so huge I will need to try to shrink them down.
The estilo gi is perfect. I am 179cm tall and weigh 66kg and A2 fitted me more prefect than any other gi. Bought it in blue on blue and the color and design is just great! By only washing it on 30 dagrees it have not shrunk anything.

I originally ordered the Element 2. 0 in black with the teal writing. A gentleman called me from customer service to let me know they didn’t have any more in stock. He was able to work with me to find a great replacement and still get it to me in plenty of time for my competition.
He texted me several pictures to choose from. I’m so glad there were many other choices in the F3C I needed. Not many other sites offer curvy figured gis. He also sent me a beautiful purple and black rash guard complimentary.
This new gi is valued at about $30 more than the one I originally ordered! I’ve purchased gis from Habrok before for my husband and myself and I will continue to do so. The customer service and fit is great!.
This Gi and been comfortable and light while training and grappling in it. I am a little under 5’8” and weigh approximately 170 lbs the A1H fits me almost perfectly. This was my first purchase of a Habrok Gi and it was definitely worth it.
Later this month I have a competition and I am considering using this Gi for it. Looking forward to purchasing another Gi from Habrok in the future.
Sent different color stitching then ordered, ok not a big deal. But it was late to arrive on top of that. But it for well? Nope. But it’s comfortable? Still a no from me dog. Now I’m going to have to buy another gi, and what’s cool is they are so inexpensive(sarcasm).
Good thing I can go to the No Gi class until I can get another.

The gi itself weighs approx 3. 5 kg. It is a good stuff. I strongly recommend that product The customer care service is very helpful. Am really happy with my new gi.
Happy with the Gi, good quality and price. Particularly price, so much more expensive other Gi’s – when you need extra pairs, to rotate washing while practicing 3-4 times a week. (My son’s taken it from me though as he’s just getting taller than me.
So still have to save for another one myself lol – again price is critical for us as I have 3 kids doing Judo too).

This was my first time buying Tatami, and I absolutely love everything I bought. The Elements 2 Gi fits perfectly, looks and feels great. I will now be replacing all my Gi’s with Elements 2’s!! I highly recommend the Gi’s, rash-guards, and fight shorts.
Tatami customer service is also great, quickly answering any questions on products from correct sizing to individual shrink rates of different Gi models. After trying out many other brands and online stores, I can honestly say Tatami is now my ’go-to’ for all essential training gear.
I ordered the F1 because that was my size according to the chart. However, it shrank pretty bad. I never dry my gis, nor wash on even warm heat. It fits my 7 year old son. So I bought another one. The F2.
It fits, the pants are wider, but still too short. it works for normal bjj class, but im annoyed, Because I really like this gi, I dont know if its my fault or what.
Upon opening this Gi I was blown away by how incredibly lightweight it is. The detailing of the blue threads looks so cool on the black material. And the Gi pants feel amazing, the material is smooth and fits well.
I wish I had purchased one sooner as this would have been perfect for training in the summer as well as competing in the heat. This gi is ideal for someone that likes a minimal design with an attention to detail, whilst maintaining it’s practical ability and it’s versatility to be used in various scenarios.

I am 5’7 62kg and the A2 fit perfectly! Material is extremely comfortable, it is definitely a middleweight GI, making it suitable in any weather condition. Design is traditional and sleek. Being IBJJF approved is also neat.
This is a real workhorse of a Gi in terms of toughness and durability. The main trade off is weight, this is easily my heaviest and least breathable Gi. All things considered this is an excellent entry-level Gi for the price and will be with you for many years.

This is a great ultra light gi for the price. This was my first purchase of a female cut gi and I can definitely say that the fit is vastly different than what I’m used to. I’ve always worn an A1 just because it was what was readily available but had grown tired of the baggy feel and wanted to give the female cut a try.
While researching where to get one I came across Habrok, who I’d never heard of, but with the buy 1 get 1 free sale going on at the time I decided to give them a try. At 5’6″ and 125 lbs I was a bit unsure about which size to buy, F1 or F2, and ended up getting F1.
The fit in the width is great but I do wish the top and pants were a little longer so I believe an F2 would have been a better choice since Habrok doesn’t offer long, F1L, versions. I’ve only been wearing them a few weeks now so we’ll see how they hold up in the long run but I’m pleased so far.
They are DEFINITELY a thin ultralight which always seem to wear down quicker than a pearl weave but in central Florida the coolness factor plays in big time! So, overall, I am pleased with the gi’s I received and will definitely recommend them to others looking for a new gi.
Great fit for me. I got F1. Am 5’6″ and 118 lb. Pants are a tad short but not too short. I know I am on longer side. Jacket fits perfectly. Sleeves and all. I did shrink it a tiny bit. Ideally I want to compete in it.
Got royal blue. My friend is A2, male but all limbs so I need to see how his fit. Overall for price and quality and fast shipping (arrived within 1 week) I would highly recommend!.
I love my new gi, it’s lightweight but feels like a very high quality material! It is a comp style fit, but it fit right out of the box. This is also the first gi I have ever got that the pants are actually long enough! I am 5’7” and 120lbs the F2 fits perfectly!.

I’ve had this gi for about 5 months now. This is my second gi from Tatami in the same size (F3L), however this one is a significant improvement from the last. The gi fit perfectly right out of the bag.
For the price it is incredibly high quality. The material is soft and has held up great through training and washing. The look of it simple yet it has just enough branding to be attractive to the eye.
I like the contrast with the black Tatami drawstring, it add some color to the pants. I also really like the curved skirt detail, it looks pretty and fits snug to the body. The sizing is perfect. The cut is the best part of these gi.
Tatami did a women’s cut very, very well. I am 135 pounds and 5’7″ with and athletic build and long legs. I LOVE these pants. They are fitted but not form fitting like my Hyperfly gi’s so I have space to move and they can accommodate someone who carries a little more weight in their lower body.
The jacket’s sleeves and skirt are just long enough, but it doesn’t have bunching in the back like what I typically deal with ordering regular gi’s for my height not my weight. It didn’t shrink much when I attempted to shrink the jacket to my liking, but just enough to get it to where I wanted it.
If you are a taller, longer-limbed person I really recommend this gi!.
I had to try a men’s gi because they don’t carry my size in women’s. I’m a size 14-16 in regular clothing. Their women’s weight chart doesn’t even include my weight. This is a huge problem across BJJ sites.
I was literally buying this gi as a celebration of my promotion to Black Belt. So, the gi itself was nice. I liked the quality of the fabrics. But I’m giving 3 stars because I’m disappointed they don’t carry anything for larger sizes for women and trying a men’s cut didn’t work, the top was huge and the pants were still just barely too small.
Tatami is a well known brand and should really make an effort to be more inclusive of different body types.
*fit and cut is more athletic which means less baggy and when rolling is a lot lighter. *I am still learning about gi material but this weave holds up. *Looks,man I never looked so good I love the minimalist approach to the gi.

Purchased size C3 for my 10 yo who is average height and on the thinner side and overall fits good. It’s long on her arms, but we just roll the sleeves for the time being. Great heavy-duty gi!

I got the F2, and was ever so slightly worried that it would be tight around my thighs, but they fit very well. This might change when I take it to the mat, but it seems to be very right. The material is solid, yet lightweight.
I also like that it has a toned down look. So, Tatami, sell the khaki trousers individually too, please!.
Ok, so I am 5’9” athletic build 145(ish) pounds – and I’ve tried about 5 different brands for fit/finish. A1’s are to small A2s are too big. Along comes the A1L – Tatami Nova line. Boom the fit is perfect!!! Not too baggy not too tight just Goldilocks all around.
Nice job guys. Now for finish, I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on how sharp this Gi is. But, it doesn’t just look good it performs equally well! The material (top) is soft but durable and the pants equally so.
The extra bits of embroidery and details add a nice touch as well. I am rather new to BJJ but the Gi feels like what I think they are supposed to. Oh and the color (Khaki) which is Army green to me – it’s wicked cool! I mean cmon you don’t see this color ever and it really is a cool color option.
Again nice work folks. I ended up getting a blue Nova MK4 as well. Oh and customer service – outstanding as well the team emailed me back promptly on a sizing/fit question and the ordering process was great as well – my Gi arrived in the Midwest US much faster than I expected! If you are a female, consider this gi!!! I have never done Jiu Jitsu before, and this is my first experience wearing a gi. I am a 5’8″ female, 145 pounds and the A1L fits perfectly even after drying on low.
The pants fit just above my ankle bones and the sleeves just cover my wrists when my arms are at my sides (and when I straighten them, the sleeves only ride up an inch or so) EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. I have sensitive skin and was interested in a gi with a built in rash guard, so this was the main reason for deciding on this gi.
My first session was a tad hot, however I am betting this is how any gi would be given the thickness to be strong and hold up for many years. I am also training at a facility at the end of summer and it is not exactly cool to begin with, so I expect this gi will be the perfect weight for when it gets cold.
Customer service with this company is outstanding and I will be a returning customer. As far as how the gi feels and looks – the coat is extremely sturdy yet with the built in liner, it is so soft. Pants are a great light weight and breathable ripstop material.
I love the subtle details of the viking stitching in the light blue as this is noticeable but not glaring. I look forward to having this gi for a very long time and can already tell that it will last for many years.
Thus far the fit is excellent. Comfortability is wonderful. Full mobility. Need more time to judge the longevity but I have no reason not to believe it will hold up. Ordered a second one immediately.
The jacket is perfect and fits me very well. The fabric, stitching, and artwork are high quality. The pants don’t fit, though. They have a strange pouch on the front and are too tight in the thighs. They’re hard to move in, and fall down a lot.
I pretty much stopped wearing them unless my other gi pants aren’t clean. I bought the F3. I am 5’7″, 165 lb, and wear size 8-10. I sprint often, so my thighs are muscular, but not particularly large.
The other thing is that the gi has a very strong plastic smell at first. It took about 15 washes to get the smell out.

I am an BJJ instructor/school owner and train 6 days a week and this gi gets worn 4 of those days for 4-5 hours a day with usually 1 to 1. 5 of those hours rolling. It has an excellent fit and feel, the collar is perfect, the stitching is strong, and it is holding up very well! I highly recommend it!.

And I am so happy I purchased this. I feel like I upgraded. Once you get your hands on this you can feel the difference. TORA is based of the Isami double weave (Which I also own) And the cotton is the softest I ever felt on a gi.
Being a double weave, it’s extremely tough and will last a life time. But you get the added bonus in comfort being that it’s so soft. An easy test you can do is whenever you wash any other gi and hang dry them.
It feels stiff and rough. A lot of people say this happens because you put too much detergent and don’t use vinegar. I use minimal detergent and half a cup of vinegar always and still they come out a bit stiff and rough.
But with Isami its always soft. This gi is defiantly worth the price. Made with the best quality. Plus if you like stylish gis, the patches on this is pretty sweet. Don’t like the patches? grab the double weave for a cheaper price.
Im not going to lie, when I picked up my package I was not impressed to say the least, however as I opened the package and tried on the BJJ GI, it was amazing, quality and stitching and sizing was perfect fit.
I’ve honestly never seen and felt anything like this, I have whole line up of AP/Shoyoroll gi and others. I am spoken for with the standards of craftsmanship. Thank you Isami family and Chokesports!.
