It worked perfectly for my backpacking trip, 16oz. Would have fit some of my portions of food better but I really enjoyed this mug and plan to use it for all my trips now.

A little smaller than anticipated. Think regular coffee or tea cup, not your average gift or novelty mug.

Have used this rangefinder for 5 rounds and it has proven to be useful and very effective. Only reason for the 4 star as opposed to 5 star is that it has occasionally taken multiple shots to hone in on the pin.

I’d say it’s about 90% grabbing the pin on the first try. Yardage is accurate and slope factoring is money. Managed to get it on sale, saved about $50. The price, even when not on sale, is on par with other range finders.

The Patriot Pack also comes with a very nice divot tool and ball mark, which was a bonus. The case has a magnet that can be used to stick it to a golf cart, creates a very strong grip. Also has a caribener to put on your bag.

I have 5 rounds under my belt with this one. I had the Precision Pro NX with slope and it was great, until it got wet in a monsoon. I had a few gift cards from Dicks and decided to purchase the Tour V5 without slope, simply to save the $100 difference.

So far, the Bushnells optics are far better. I think the distances are accurate, but since I don’t have the Precision Pro to directly compare, I cannot honestly say that’s it’s more accurate. The heft and build quality of the Bushnell is much nicer than the Precision Pro.

That said, I would not let that hold me back from one or the other. Battery life so far seems very good, but only time will tell. The visual cue that displays a flashing ring when locked on a flag does not seem to work every time, but perhaps that’s user error, again time will tell.

If you want a super high quality non-slope rangefinder, this one is a keeper.

Bushnell was the first to market rangefinders 26 years ago. Their optics and technology is poorly copied my many companies today. If you can compare Callaway topline with the Busnell the first thing you will notice is how bright and clear the image appears.

Cheap rangefinders use cheap optics to bring the price down. It is like a high quality camera lens. Busnell is in the optics business. Everything in the Tour V5 Shift is what other companies will try to copy into their product.

I’m pretty happy with it. My issues are: 1) heat control is not great. 2) I was disappointed that the pressure valve went out so quickly. I had only used the grill 4 or 5 times on our first camping trip (4 wks), when it stopped working after about 8 or 9 days.

I figured it was the valve but I spent hours trying to troubleshoot, buying new hoses, trying different configurations, and then having to work around not having a working grill for the second half of this 4 wk trip.

For our recent trip last month (also 4 wks), I still could not get it working, so we had to go buy a second (cheap) portable gas grill since my Webber was still not working. I still brought it on this camping trip and stopped along the way at several places to try to get it fixed, with no luck.

I figured it was the valve, but could not find a replacement anywhere. Finally a guy at Ace HW told me to call your service dept, which I did, and the replacement valve arrived at my home a few days after we got back from this camping trip about 3 wks ago.

I have not had time since then to replace the valve, but will before our fall camping trip. I am hopeful it’s an easy replacement and that it will work properly. One more issue, that is not Webber’s fault, is that I had a low pressure propane hose added to my camper that I hoped I could hook right up to my webber grill, so I did not have to carry additional propane.

Unfortunately, this does not work, as the regulator appears to only work with high pressure (tank pressure). Do you have any adaptors that would allow this to work for my set up? When I bought this webber grill, I had (wrongly) assumed that it would work.

Had I known that it would not, I likely would have NOT bought the webber. Overall, this little grill works fine. I have a Webber Spirit grill at my home that I really like and have no problems with. I still have some heat control issues with it however, but I’m slowly learning how to account for them.

Love this little grill – it’s a Weber, just smaller! After giving my big Weber to son/grandson I missed having a grill at times, but didn’t want another big one. When I found the baby Q I was skeptical (small grills don’t have a great reputation for doing anything you can’t grill on high) but I finally got one and I absolutely love it – it’s like having a big Weber in a small package.

Turkey burgers are actually juicy, kabobs are perfect, and chicken legs are so juicy and good my 7 year old grandson asked me to make them for him every time he visits. If I had one (very minor) wish it would be that the Q1000 came in colors – I don’t want the tables on the side as I have a vintage hoosier cabinet on my porch my baby Q sits on but I would have liked to choose a color other than titanium.

Grill is perfect for small meals and you can easily cook for 4 on it. Clean up is a breeze, even easier than my big Weber was!.

Bought this a month ago and I’m so pleased, the price was steep for the size. I thought. turns out you get whaT you pay for. Great little grill easy to transport, sturdy, good quality parts and she cooks very well.

Cleans up nice too! Easy to use good enough size for 8 burgers, one 9×6 reheat tray and a full 12 inch pie plate! Warmest my frozen chilli in the time it took to warm her for grilling. Will continue testing but thus far: couldn’t be happier with the q1000.

Have to say next I’m going to try quick breads and maybe try my hand a smoked spatchcocked bird. I have a feeling both will be successful given the work in she’s had and how well she does with her sturdy construction and steady heat.

The flint and saw broke within 1 hour of buying it after testing it. The multi tool is trash the only thing its good for is the pliers. Overall, I’m very dissatisfied with this product as it is way overpriced for what you get.

If you were to use this in a disaster, don’t expect it to survive long.

The kit is small, but is packed with the essentials. Being small and light weight there is no reason to leave it at home.

Box was half smushed and wet and had mold inside the solar was scratched in multiple places and the solar panel had damage to it would not recommend even if desperate they don’t do returns on it and thier communication lacks a lot.

Spur of a moment purchase finding it displayed as I walked into the store. Model 823 purchased 6-1-2022 in Tacoma WA as a replacement for an very old and well used 18 inch Camp Chef. This is an older Outland model that is sold else where for much less including from the manufacture.

For the price paid $159. 99 the unit lacks a self starter and automatic no flame, propane shut off. The flame adjustment dial on mine operates the opposite of the indicator painted behind the dial starting on high and going lower rotating the dial counter clockwise.

Used every day since purchased under cover on a deck. Good quality, long propane hose, good volume of medium and large size lava stone. Better buys out there.

We had some issues with a very low flame when we first started using the fire bowl. We followed the troubleshooting steps included but didn’t solve the issue. We reached out to the manufacturer and they quickly responded with advice of how to re-seat the regulator, which instantly solved the problem.

So my husband was big on camping/ emergency preparedness. But when he passed on, I decided the dangerous, smokey oil lamps needed to go. These little 4. 5” lanterns are insanely bright (Seriously DON’T look directly into them) They will last all night & don’t cause any smoke, odor, fire, or risk of electrical shock.

They’re so safe that I leave one in my autistic sons bedroom in case of a power outage because he is afraid of the dark. During a power outage I place one in each bathroom, the living room, and the kitchen.

I’ve had one for 2+ years and bought the others recently due to storms. Haven’t had a problem yet. Also, the price is unbelievable. I own 5 for the cost of a trip to McDonalds. And the pack I bought even came with batteries!!!! (Stock up on extra batteries if your a prepper.

) If you keep them only for emergency use, check on your batteries every 4 months :-).

Nice little lantern that does pretty much what it is designed to do. The lantern I received has a 3 light setting switch. The amount of light can also be manually adjusted by opening or closing the pull-out top portion of the lantern, and is a nice feature that can save battery life.

This model also has 4 small magnets in the base that will help keep the lantern suspended to a metal surface. Not the strongest magnets, as the lantern began to slide when I placed it on a refrigerator door, but it might hold on most other metal surfaces.

The exterior seems well built and durable, also has 2 convenient side metal handles for carrying and hanging. Will light up an average sized 15′ by 15′ room nicely. Great for emergency power blackouts or camping.

Keep in mind, the light produced by LED’s can be a bit harsh, but if you want a nice little lantern on a budget, this is a good choice. I recommend it. 5 stars.

This is a solid and bomb proof pot. The size and inside measurements in ounces and milliliters are very helpful when you don’t want to math. The one downside is that lid. It’s not titanium, and it has two little tabs that keep it together and and a little handle to lift.

Imagine you are cooking whether boiling water or gourmet-ing it up, and you go to grab the little handle. Even if it’s a little warm, your first instinct is to quickly pull away. BUT! If the two little tabs are locked on to the pot….

Disaster. By all means buy this pot, but always use a potholder or your metal spork to lift the lid away and up.

This is their largest combo at the time of purchase and it fits the larger giga power canister and my pocket stove without any issue. I used it to cook some instant noodles and some soup with the pot and no issue at all.

Some people complain about the handles but I personally think it’s fine. The pan on the other hand… The handle does need a bit of getting used to, but I can live with that. As some people mention online, the pan does tend to stick so make sure you use plenty of oil/butter when cooking.

Also, the color will change more on the pan compared to the pot when using it under the canister heat. Lift the pan above the fire periodically when cooking unless you want that anodized titanium look!.

Love Weber, love the 22” Kettle, but… why would you strip features that have always been associated with the kettle? I have been using the kettle for 40+ years and two features that I’ve always taken for granted are now gone or different.

Why? #1-the handle has ALWAYS doubled as a grill tool hook. No bells and whistles necessary, just sized to accept the lioops at the end of my grill tools. Now that has been made impossible with the new grill handle and to get this feature you have to upgrade to the bells and whistles version that transforms the handle to have hooks… c’mon.

That’s a basic grill feature and your monetizing of a basic need sours me on a company I have loved for decades (this is my 5th kettle and I have two gas grills as well). #2 the kettle lid has ALWAYS had a hook in the lid aligned with the lid handle in the N/S orientation, but for some unknown reason you now move the hook to the E/W orientation?! Why? I imagine it has to do with the lid catcher for the new bells and whistles version, but that’s a bad reason.

Whoever decided that was a good idea should know their base.

The grill has maintained its popularity over the years for exceptional design that includes an easy removal system for used charcoal, a lower rack for storing charcoal, well placed handles protected from heat, and a strong body.

But, what is even more exceptional is the distribution of heat that results in even cooking and smoking. Sloped sides and domed top create a flow of heat and smoke that results in even searing and cooking.

Yes, I also have a Weber gas grill that is also fantastic, but when I want that exceptional flavor that comes from grilling over hot coals enveloped in taste enhancing smoke, then my kettle is the desired grill.

Don’t get me wrong it’s a good little grill. I’ve used it to smoke ribs and cook burgers on multiple occasions and everything has come out amazing! But there a couple of improvements that would make this even better, especially for the price.

Have a thermometer on the side of the vent, have a something on the top vent so you can grab it cause it gets hot. Things that they could add on this without hiking up the price too much. But it’s a good starter grill.

Weber just needs to realize there is competition out there with good prices and all updated features.

Got walking staff and am very pleased with it. Also instead of paying another $100 plus dollars for the shovel I just bought the shovel head and it fits perfect on the walking staff. So when hiking the shovel head fits nicely in my pack.

Going to buy another extension to make staff little longer. All together is a great product and recommended to my nephew to get one for our hikes. Everyone should have one that loves exploring the outdoors.

I needed to replace a porch rocker and this one fit the bill. It was quality material and assembled easily. I have had bad experiences with other put together furniture from other sources. They were poor quality, the holes weren’t drllled properly, the hardware was loose in the packing and the assembly tool inadequate and instructions written by someone who did not speak English.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the hardware shrink wrapped on cardboard with this rocker. It included a multipurpose hex wrench, and easy to follow directions and diagrams. It is sturdy and attractive.

I would buy additional pieces from this manufacturer.

I’ve had the chairs 2-black) for about 3 weeks. Within 2 days of being outside the finish has broken down, there are cracks in the chair around one of the screws and they look weathered. I reached out to Hayneedle and sent pictures and have asked for a refund/credit as they are not suitable for outdoor weather as advertised.

They have now asked me to return the chairs in order to receive a refund/credit which now means I need to disassemble them and find something to return them in which is really frustrating. I spent a lot of time researching what would be a good choice for outside and read the reviews before purchasing.

The color is nice, the wood seems like it would be nice. A couple of pieces on this rocker had knicks on them and a strange indentation. The rocket itself is INCREDIBLY loud! It almost sounds like a wooden floor in a mansion from a horror film.

I am returning the rocker because it is SO loud it is unenjoyable to use.

Still small, it is short though a bit thick but grippy and pretty. All these take a back seat to the output which is what counts. With different modes and a single button switch which is not difficult to figure out and use to this is a great flashlight! Not cheap but all things considered it’s money well spent.

I expect the quality to be as good as their other products. And I do have a few of them.

This thing is very thin using only a AAA battery. Produces plenty of light for quick use but has a brighter mode if you need more light. I really like the clip on this light as well as the AA version.

It is big enough that you can hold the clip with your fingers to slide the light back in your pocket, making it quick to deploy and put back.

I served as an artillery officer, including in combat, in a military force that uses the British type prismatic compass. Therefore; when I decided to buy a good compass for hiking and navigation, I started looking for such a compass.

However; these are not easy to find, unless you are willing to buy a poorly made replica, or spend a lot of money for military surplus or unfamiliar civilian models. In contrast to true prismatic compass, US military stile lensatic compasses are all over the place, with some as cheep as $2.

00, shipping from China included. I decided to buy one of those cheep Chinese ones, and although it seems to work well, I wasn’t satisfied with the quality, and decided to purchase the real thing, the Cammenga H3 US military model.

The cheap copy went to my 9 year old daughter. The difference between the cheap copy and the original military model is obvious from first glance. The compass locks nicely when closed, the needle is raised and locked when the lense is folded down, and the display is clear.

It is very well made, and feels like a professional instrument, not a toy. I don’t have the equipment to check it’s accuracy, but I am not concern with it, since I am not going to use it to direct artillery fire, where an error of a few milliards may cause an artillery shell to be off by hundreds of meters or more.

I still think the British type prismatic compass is much better and more accurate when it comes to finding the accurate direction of objects, but for general navigation and hiking purpose, the US military lensatic compass, with it’s 5 degrees accuracy is more than adequate.

In fact, I spoke with a colleague who served as an artillery officer in the US Marines, who explained that artillery officers use a completely different compass (the more fragile M2 model) for directing artillery fire, while the robust lensatic compass is used for everything else.

The compass I bought is about 12 years old and at the end of it’s Tritium illumination life, which is 10-12 years, according to Cammenga’s website. This is not an issue for me, as I don’t intend to hike at night, and if illumination of the dial is needed, I can use a flashlight.

I would have bought the phosphoric model, which needs some exposure to light in order to achieve relevant illumination, had I found one for a good price. I am glad I bought this compass, and will use it each time I hike.

An extremely rugged and accurate compass. Do yourself a favor and own one good compass. this one. It is not lightweight, but will not break. Magnetically dampened, so no liquid to leak or develop bubbles.

The tritium illumination is interesting, but I doubt that I will ever need to navigate thru the woods at night. For those who need night illumination, the tritium has an effective life of about 12 years, after which the compass is difficult to read in the dark.

That makes the date of manufacture important. There are a series of 3 two digit numbers stamped on the inside of the lid. The first set is the year, and the second set is the month. (A less expensive phosphorescent version is available but must be activated by an external light source.

) Overall a great compass field tested by the U. S. Army.

Absolutely love this compass! Is built rock solid and tough! Is super accurate, light weight and compact when folded down so i can keep it on my person at all times when bush bashing. I have absolute confidence in this compass for when my GPS fails in the field.

I always know that i can rely on it when in a spot. Due to the rough terrain i operate in, together with the deep gullies and steep faces my GPS often drops out and looses connection. Having this compass ready at hand means i can continue to boost towards my last baring without loosing any time.

Then as my GPS kicks back in i can revert to it again. I’ve been through a number of different compass brands and styles and all have left me wanting for various reasons. Had i known how awesome, reliable and accurate these were i wouldn’t have bothered with any of the others tried! Excellent product that you won’t be disappointed in! Shipping was ridiculously fast!.

Pros: Wide angle view that is very bright & sharp at center. Provides very 3-D looking views. Twist-up eye cups, good eye-relief & diopter adjustment, and nice big & well coated optics. Nice build with large center focus wheel.

” I bought these for backyard birding, but they would be perfect for hunting or vacation sight-seeing. The price point is great, especially if you have a coupon or points. And don’t overlook the “no questions asked, no receipt needed” lifetime warrant.

I’ve been rough on my hunting binocs and never needed service, but know that if I ever do they will stand behind it. These 8 x 32 seem ideal for the great majority of what I do. turkey, deer, birding.

These were great binoculars, crisp image, easy to adjust, rugged but they didn’t fit my particular needs. Found out the Zoom binocular would become just a hair fuzzy at fully extended while being crisp at the wide angle end.

10 power I couldn’t hand hold steady enough to meet my needs – these were actually the best of all the ones I tried but I just couldn’t get the range I wanted for elk, fox, coyote, bear hunting. Great warranty which attracted me to Vortex.

My rifle scope is from Vortex – and it’s fantastic and comes with a No questions ask warranty. Great binoculars , excellent glass, good exterior coating – just a great binocular. A definite recommend to a friend Binocular – you won’t be disappointed.

I really wanted to love the PowerPint. It is the perfect edc size with actual useful size pliers and a one-hand opening knife on a belt clip. But there are too many missed opportunities. No changeable tools.

No medium or large flathead screwdriver. I had to file down the bottle opener and make one. The Philips screwdriver doesn’t work well as the competitor’s model on small or large screws. The scissors are ok.

The package opener is great but not easily accessible so I usually just use the knife. Unsatisfied I bought the competitor’s model but it is too bulky and heavy for what I wanted. So, I will use the PowerPint for now.

I have tried carrying several different types and brands of multi tools. The problems Ive encountered were that most having the features I am most likely to need are too big and bulky and the ones having the minimal amount of features are not quite sturdy enough or missing some of the basic tools.

This one fits my needs perfectly. I carry it everyday and seem to have a use for it almost everyday. At work, around the house, traveling, hunting, hiking or doing nothing, this tool is always ready to get the job done, without having to go to the real tool box to select the full size tool you are needing at the time.

These are great coffee cups and I have about 13 or 14 of them on two coffe cup trees, in my kitchen. Only one cup, over the years, has failed when I poured coffee into it and it cracked all the way down the side.

it was this Deer cup. Other then that one issue my guests always have good things to say about them and love the art work.
