20 Best Gloves For Smoker (2022 Updated)

I bought about a month ago for xmas gift for my husband his prior pair if the same gloves were worn out (which lasted for years ). after trying various websites (you know that big one) and all were out of stock or didn’t carry at all I decided to goggle the name and decided to try your website.

Very nicely put together went directly to the gloves and ordered and they were here in 2 weeks. Also my husband loves these more than the previous pair because he said the gloves were longer which covered more of his arm!!.

My wife had purchased me these gloves to replace an old pair that got torn up by my dog. Well unfortunately, my dog also got a hold of the right glove of my new pair before I had a chance to use them.

I emailed Char-Broil to see if I could just purchase the single glove, and the response was they were sending me a new pair as a gift!! Both my smoker and propane grill are Char-Broil, and I will never buy from anywhere else for my barbecue needs.

These gloves are great! I do a lot of smoking/BBQing/grilling/cooking/etc and I use them all the time. They keep my hands from getting burned and they’re seemingly indestructable. I’m still on my first pair after almost a year of heavy use.

If they got torn up somehow, I’d immediately replace them because you can’t beat the price! Highly recommended!.

Heavy Duty Leather oven mitts can be a hard to source item. For the price point, these are incomparable. I have now tried at least ten different styles and varieties of oven mitts over the last five years, and these are hands down the most durable, bang-for-your-buck that I have found yet.

We run an intense, from-scratch kitchen that abuses these gloves. I’m now replacing my remaining cloth gloves with these. 4 stars because the heat does bleed through faster than with cloth gloves. You will need to move a little quicker, but that’s your tradeoff.

We use them from 375-400F constantly.

This will be the last pair of oven mitts that I purchase. I work in a kitchen all day, and have purchased dozens of pairs of mitts. Many of those “named brands” that were suppose to last – 1 month at best.

This pair of LEATHER gloves have been more that any of the others ever thought about being. Good fit – rugged – well made. Thanks for the quality produce at a great price.

It is nice having a glove for each hand, though it does mean I have to get the right glove on the right hand. They have good flexibility for heat resistant gloves. I have not tried, nor will I, to test how much heat they withstand, but I use them when baking and grilling.

I was a bit concerned buying a pair of gloves without being able to try them on, especially at this price. My hands fall between large and extra large, leaning toward extra large. Some inexpensive gloves just don’t fit.

These, however, are just about a perfect fit. They are made from really nice split leather and have good flexure. The seams are tight and well stitched. They insulate well against heat. Just a really good glove I’d normally expect to pay at least $10 more.

I’m very satisfied with the quality, fit, and durability of the gauntlets. Highly recommended from a user and abuser of gloves.

These gloves are durable and super quality. I recommend these for an outdoor fire pit or a fireplace. I don’t know what I would do without these.

I like them except—wish they had a stain proof coating. also, these are fine for the men, but where are the women’s sizes?

I use these to put wood into my fireplace – works perfectly, never felt the heat coming through.

Love my item

This will work well for my hand since mine is much smaller than my husband’s hand. It is listed as one-size, but it will definitely not work for him. I typically wear a small to medium glove; he would wear an XL; so be cautious and check the sizing before you purchase.

The quality of the item is great, however. Very well constructed and comfortable for me. Will be using this at my woodburner this coming winter.

If I can find them I prefer a glove to a mitt in the kitchen, so I was delighted to see this item! I was especially drawn to it because of the length of the cuff; it is a full 3″ longer than the usual oven glove.

Some of the knitted stitches at the tips of the fingers are coming apart, but since the gloves are not meant to be washed, I don’t expect that to be a problem. What I don’t understand is not selling hand protection in pairs! I always need two hands to remove pans.

As a result I had to order two gloves. Made it pricey, but I could not ignore that long, protective cuff. I have no regrets!.

I can’t say enough good things about this glove! Normally, you can either get something with good heat protection or good flexibility, but not both. These absolutely deliver on both fronts and I wouldn’t have believed that would be possible.

I don’t know why anyone would buy anything else.

The Insulated food gloves are awesome. Used them several times and didn’t feel the heat come through. It allowed me to quickly finish my food process with out any burns.

Hot foods are definitely not a problem. Cleaning is a breeze. The only issue I have had in the past with these gloves, is that they tend to get hard and stiff over time.

I originally bought the non mitten version of these gloves for my husband and he LOVES them. I see they now have the mitten version and he doesn’t want them. He’s specifically requested I buy him backup sets of the original gloves.

Please bring them back!!.

I actually use this inside in the kitchen. The leather is a bit stiff, hindering manoeuvrability, but it protects from the heat very well. A bit big for my smaller hands. It would be handy if it came in different sizes.

I had a mitt similar to this one and my husband loved it when barbecuing. Lost it in a move and happy to find this one. Washable too.

These gloves are quite reminiscent of cheap, wet weather, motorcycle gloves. They are comprised of two layers which are not fused/joined, so when you remove your hand the internal layer comes out from the fingers.

This makes it a real pain to get them back on. While they do have a moderate amount of protection from the heat, they are completely useless against any hot oil/juices which will go straight through the material and burn your skin.

They are also not very long, so they might provide some heat protection for your hands, your arms are still quite exposed. For the price of these I expected significantly more. I bought some welders gloves for $11 that are better.

I originally purchased a pair for hubby to use while he was grilling. He loves them and hasn’t burned himself since I bought them. I’ve started canning and in dry/oven canning women usually use pot holders and tea towels while burning fingers trying to tighten hot rims and lids.

I remembered hubby’s Weber gloves and they work perfectly. I have permanently “confiscated” the original pair of gloves so I had to purchase hubby a new set. Whether in the kitchen or out on the grill these are fabulous.

Gripper fingers mean you can fully hang onto a hot item. Love the Weber quality.

I purchased this particular pair of gloves as a gift for a family member who admired the ones I owned. They are the same high quality that I was expecting, as were mine. Ive used the ones I own for over 18 months and have been very pleased with the performance.

I can move the hot grill aside if I need to add coals(I’m a charcoal cooker, and in a pinch can turn the meat that’s cooking without a fork. All around excellent product.

Just used my new G & F Products BBQ Grill Smoker Insulated waterproof/oil & heat resistant gloves while making a batch of saucy chicken breast on the grill. The first great thing I noticed is how they have very little odor typical of synthetic material gloves.

And when I was done cooking my hands absolutely did not smell like rubber. A real plus. The lining is a thin knit material and very comfortable. While the gloves are a bit bulky, the exterior surface finish has an almost black sand appearance and is quite grippy.

That being said, they are flexible enough to allow good control of barbecue brush and larger cooking tools. But a table-dinner fork was just a bit hard to handle. I am happy to report not one singed arm or knuckle hair in the process of getting a good even caramelized-burnt coating of my secret blend BBQ sauce on those breasts! It got warm inside the gloves.

But never hot. And they clean right up with soap and water. Will be trying them out on hot grill grates and smoker pans soon.

Nice gloves. They are thick enough to insulate your hands but still thin enough to be able to use you fingers. Perfect for handling pork butts after they’re cooked.

Yep, you can grab a pork shoulder right off the grill. You can lift a 20lb turkey right out of the Nesco. Works just like they say it should. Only one problem, once you’ve got them on and they get a bit greasy they’re almost impossible to get off by yourself.

With a glove on each hand you have no place to grab to get a grip to get them off. My solution? Have a helper near-by to help you get them off. If I was making them I’d figure out how to put some kind of rough surface or grabber thingie on a finger tip in order to facilitate getting them off, but that said, I’m real happy with them, would buy them again and will no longer be without them.

These BBQ gloves work great they keep my hands from getting burned and using them with the grill is just ideal. The gloves are not too thick so you can actually feel what you are picking up. I highly recommend them.

I used mine to flip fire logs without burning my hands or forearms. (I usually use a tongs) I had read that they worked well for that purpose. They do, however, only in very short bursts. I lingered with a log in my hand for maybe 5 seconds while rearranging the fire and there is now a small hole in the outer fabric.

It didn’t burn through, but you can slightly feel the heat there more so than the other parts of the glove. Bottom line. Flip your logs without hesitation! They still work so I’m keeping them.

These are awesome. I use them not only with the grill but also in the kitchen as they work much better than potholders. And unlike those silicon things that fit on just your fingers, these babies protect your arms when you have to reach back into the oven.

Very nice. I’ve even picked up a lit charcoal briquet with these (I don’t recommend doing that) and I did not get burnt. However, IF you get them wet and try to grab that lasagna pan out of the oven, you might as well be using tissue paper.

I gave this as a gift for Christmas. He started his Z Grill after putting it together after the New Year. My Boyfriend has been addicted to learn how to smoke and smoking ever since he loves his Z Grill.

His nephew helped him on his first try with a brisket and when his nephew got home from visiting us he had his wife buy him one for his birthday. So the Z Grill went from California to Kentucky with total success!!!.

Used these gloves with my deep fried turkey. Was able to pick up the turkey and pull it apart without getting burned. Liked that I could wash them while wearing them as needed. Only drawback was that gloves were slippery so sometimes meat fell out of my hands.

I bought 2 pair to use with my BBQ smoker for a big event. We had no issues moving hot pork shoulders or large pans of hot food. Only wish they were slightly larger, as they were a little difficult to remove after handling food.

I bought this glove as a gift and it’s great! Team spirit logo shows up well and the glove is heavy duty. Note it fits a really big hand. It’s even useful as a jar opener.

It’s a Dallas Cowboy BBQ glove, for my fiancé, what more can I say, it’s perfect!! One of his Christmas gifts!

These are the only type of gloves my husband will use when grilling. He flips over the baked potatoes and other items by hand without burning his hands. He also uses them constantly for bringing hot pans out of the oven.

Being able to use gloves with fingers is so much more secure than just oven mittens and we believe they handle the hit much better.
