20 Best Gloves For Tennis (2022 Updated)

I have been using the pure touch glove since it was introduced years ago. A year ago I purchased some at the PGA super store. 3 of them were great and 2 of them were tight more like a large size. Prior to that I always ordered a box of 6 from the pro at the club.

This recent online order is very good the only difference with this new order , the thumb is a little wider. The factory must have changed the setting a bit on the machine. Aside from that its ideal and a great fir for me! I hope that’s helpful.

I’ve tried a bunch of gloves over the years but the FootJoy StaSof is by far the most comfortable and best fitting one I’ve ever used. For the past 3 seasons it’s the only glove I’ve been using and I have no desire to try anything else.

My biggest issue with gloves is that I have a medium sized hand so a Small glove is too tight. But the fingers on most Medium gloves are slightly too long for me. FootJoy’s Cadet Medium size is 100% perfect for me.

No more floppy fingertips. My only complaint is that they wear out fairly quickly. I don’t mind buying a new glove at the start of each season, but sometimes I have to replace these before the season is over.

But that’s the price you pay for a glove this soft. It’s a fair tradeoff for the comfort and perfect fit.

ORDERING PROCESS IS MUCH SIMPLER THAN AMAZON. PRODUCT IS A REPEAT PUCHASE BECAUSE THE RIGHT HAND GLOVE IS SUPPLE ENOUGH TO USE IN TENNIS. RARELY ARE THESE GLOVES USED FOR THAT BUT THESE ARE PERFECT. THEY LAST FOR AT LEAST AN ENTIRE SUMMER SEASON.

We brought these a while back and the reason we had to keep buying new gloves is because they rip easy between the thumb and pointing finger. The quality of these seems better (first time buying Franklin) so I hope that these will at least last the season.

This is being used by a 10yo, so durability was a big reason I tried these as the other general sports brands did not hold well.

We are now on our third pair. The left hand glove tears and hasn’t lasted an entire season yet. Very disappointed. Add to that, when I last purchased them, they cost $29. 99. Went to replace them yesterday and they now cost $39.

I have bought this style of glove for years & the quality has gotten much worse. Gone are the days of all leather with a snap ball mark. The synthetic back is just crap. I’m to the point I’ve got 4 gloves hanging & drying out.

Rips in different places on all. The one that really got my attention was synthetic layer separating from the cloth on the back of the glove. I used to buy these 2 @ a time @ Dick’s over the years. NEVER AGAIN! I’ll hunt for all leather at a pro shop!.

I have been using the Bionic Stability golf glove for many years now. Every now and then, I forget why I use the Bionic glove and will purchase gloves that are on sale. I “IMMEDIATELY” remember why I use the Bionic Stability Golf Gloves and end up giving the gloves I purchased on sale away to my golf buddies.

They create a grip on the club that. “you guessed it”. makes your swing super stable. The pads on the palm of the glove are placed to where you can grip the club with a lighter grip, but still have superb control of the club.

I love the Bionic golf gloves on full shots and especially when swinging my driver, fairway woods, hybrids, etc. The golf glove also works well on other shots, but I seem to notice more advantages on full shots.

The only cons that I can think of are that the glove tends to be hotter than some of the other golf gloves that have better breathablity materials and meshes in them, and if you are a golfer who likes to putt with your golf glove on, the Bionic Stability golf glove is not that comfortable to use with the putter.

I have seen the value in the Bionic Stability golf gloves and have used them religiously for many years now. I highly recommend this golf glove to anyone who likes to “grip it and rip it”, but keep a looser, but very stable grip on the golf club!!.

Sales person at pga tour superstore suggested I buy insurance on this glove? Said they have a warranty for WHEN they come apart. Not if… You pay extra and they will replace your first glove. 2 for the price of? It’s already $30 how much more are we talking here? I did not buy insurance but my glove has held up a dozen rounds and practices already.

Great! I love these tennis racquet grips. Very comfortable and tacky so I’m able to comfortably handle my racquet and change grips mid-rally without slipping. The ONLY downside, is that after excessive use (playing frequently and hitting heavy) the grips do wear out around knuckle grip areas.

Lucky this comes with 30 grips so I am able to change them out every so often :).

Delivered in great time, had to do many rackets and realised that the original grips being “Black” & falling apart – “Black” would be a great option if available. White is good if you have surgical hands or have specialist doing the rack grip replacements – we are just lovers of the game & the option of Black 12 pack would be good.

Overall 10 out of 10 to Tennis Warehouse.

Firstly the staff at racquet guys are great. The Wilson overgrip was on 50% discount. Bought the overgrip for my tennis racquet. The problem with this grip was too thin and not long enough to wrap around the whole handle.

Probably better fit for a badminton racquet.

I guess I couldn’t ask for much for paying a 3-pack for $3. The grip is in good length, fits most racquets. You just have to adjust it based on your racquets. Pretty thin, for me, it would last about a month, playing 2 times a week.

I didn’t use any other grip, because I like my grip to be smaller. So this is perfect in term of size. Absorbance: Not too great. I have to switch racquets every two hours because it will get kind of wet after playing for a few hours.

This is perfect for casual play, if you are looking for a budget grip. Recommended for the casual players like me.

Basic overgrip. Nice colour but nothing special. I bought it because someone recommended it for humid weather. Did not really address the issue. If you’re looking for an OG to prevent slipping due to sweaty hands or humidity just get tourna grip.

It’s the only thing that works. Otherwise get head xtrem soft, it lasts 2-3 times longer than Wilson grips.

The Wilson Ultra Wrap is designed for tennis and other racquet handles. But thanks to knife designer and YouTube channel owner, Chris Tanner, who came up with the idea of using Wilson Wrap on the smooth handles of bushcraft and utility knives, he has discovered a great alternative use for this excellent product.

Sometimes, out in the bush or the woods, those of us who collect knives and use them as camping tools etc. , find that handles which are too smooth present a possible dropping or cutting risk. By using Wilson Wrap on some slippery knife handles the grip is enhanced ten fold, especially when your hands are sweaty or wet from rain.

Not only used on knives, the use of Wilson Ultra Wrap is only restricted by your imagination. Any item that tends to slip in your hands may be made more useful and safer by applying Wilson Wrap. it comes in various packs and kinds of wraps and I’ve found that they last years even on knives that received a lot of use.

New favorite glove for sure. Quality material and durable as well. The colors last and don’t bleed on your hand like I’ve some colored gloves I’ve had in the past from other brands. Price isn’t too bad either, like I said they’re durable gloves so you definitely get your money’s worth.

I ordered the black and red one’s; the colors are true. So black is black and red is definitely red. In case some of you were wondering. Cause I know I had my fingers crossed when I ordered them. Sure enough they came in just like I hoped.

I went to my local PGA SuperStore to buy a glove instead of ordering online due to sizing. After trying on literally every glove from every company, the only one that fit was this one. For whatever reason, this particular glove was the only one that had a shorter thumb.

The rest had a bit of extra material which bunched up. The smaller sizes were too narrow, too short, and too tight to even Velcro close. So like I said, this is the only glove for me! Amazing grip and feel.

My daughter was literally going through batting gloves every couple of weeks between travel softball, high school softball, little league softball, and her weekly private hitting sessions. She is a year-round softball player in the northeast and practices nearly every day, so durability is critical when it comes to batting gloves.

She had to tape her fingers because no matter what glove we purchased she would end up with holes in her gloves and they’d start to fall apart after about two weeks. I have two of my four boys playing elite baseball and loving it. My third son played up a few years in a 2019 tournament in Florida with teammate Owen Cassie, the year before he was drafted to the Padres.

Just before my son went down from Canada for that tournament, I purchased him a pair of Bruce Bolt gloves. He attributed the gloves to helping him with his great stats during those games. Unfortunately, covid hit before he was able to show off some more in 2020.

Having been around the game a long time, I get what a pair of batting glove go through. They have a hard life! I also know you get what you pay for! So when I purchased 2 pairs of these gloves (one for each kid), I was excited and pleased to hear about the 100% satisfaction guarantee.

I read all the reviews, and it was positive. That said my son goes through 2 pairs of gloves a season. So at $40 a pair, I figured a good pair of BB gloves would last us a season. We splurged a little and got him the color and style he wanted.

I followed all the tips they give for keeping them dry and even treating the leather to keep them from drying out. Now that we are at the 1/2 way point in the season, the left hand glove is failing. Not in the manufacturing process, but in the materials.

When I opened the package of the PGA Tour Swingsoft Course Essentials Cabretta Leather left hand golf glove, I immediately tried it on and was so pleased with the fit! When I use my driver I want a glove that gives when needed and holds up throughout the day.

I recently received the “PGA Tour Swingsoft Golf Glove, Left Handed. ” This golf glove has been really awesome lately because my husband is left-handed. Since the weather has been super nice outside we have decided to go golfing or just go to the driving range lately and it’s actually kind of difficult to find a left-handed glove that fits nice and comfortably.

This PGA Tour golf glove is made of premium Cabretta leather and it is super soft feeling. The grip on this glove is amazing and you don’t have to worry about your hand slipping or the golf club moving in your hands.

The mesh is great because it allows the glove to be moved really easily while you’re moving your hands and it keeps your hand cool and not sweaty throughout the day. In between each finger there is a spot where there is no fabric which I really like because it lets your hand get some fresh air on it.

The Velcro closure is great because you can adjust it to how loose or tight you want the glove to feel around your wrist. This glove is also super easy to clean and all we’ve needed to use was just a wipe.

The gloves are soft, comfortable, fit perfect and I’ve been told you can wash them but do not put them in the dryer. I love them! I only got white which I like, very clean looking. The glove fits to your hand like a mold.

I was surprised by the fit of this glove. I have a small hand & was concerned the “one size” would be too big, but it’s very comfortable. I also like the material at the fingertips. I have long nails & this glove has lasted much longer than others.

Thus far the best golf glove I’ve purchased. Most I have had to dispose of after a couple uses as they wear quickly from sweaty hands. These gloves breathe very nice and no showing of sweat from my hands even on very hot days.

The one size fits all is exactly that. The gloves after a couple rounds adjust to the size of your hands (and I’m a big guy at (6’4″) with large hands. They feel great when gripping my clubs. So far no cons or negative comments about this product.

In the Texas heat you can go through gloves pretty quickly but finding the right one can prove to be a real chore. This pro series gloves is a great fit, good quality and at a fraction of the cost of the some of the brand name gloves.

It holds its shape and doesn’t get “slick” after a few rounds of golf. The only constructive criticism I’d like to offer is I have been unable to purchase these gloves for both hands as I’ve been considering wearing two gloves to protect my hands from the sun.

I have purchased this glove many times over the years. It’s my all-time favorite, and feels great right out of the box. I also recently tried a more expensive/technical glove that my husband recommended, but it was too thick and changed the feel of the grip.

I sent that one back and bought this glove again. For me, it’s the best! My only side note is that the wrist velcro area allows for adjustment, but would be too tight if the entire flap covered the entire velcro area.

I just position it where it feels comfortable. :).

Women’s Pro Series Leather Gloves are the only gloves that I have used in over three years. The fit of the glove, my fit is small, fits like a glove and never sags out. The leather is soft and is very comfortable in the Florida’s hot and humid summers.

My son (10U) entered competitive baseball last year, and I wanted to get him a glove that could serve him well now and grow with him. He has small hands even for his age, and I’m happy that the glove doesn’t look monstrous, that he is able to manipulate it, but it still has room.

I recommend the Nokona Glove Conditioner with it. I worked conditioner in throughout the glove, we continue to play catch, and I expect it will be well broken in for him within a month. It’s spendy, but this is something where you see the quality difference.

This glove is the real deal! I ordered others and returned before getting this glove. Great quality leather still needs some breaking in ,but came nearly ready to go. If you are looking for a very well made glove this is it??.

My son got this glove a few months ago and has loved using it. He just turned 7, and is having a great time with it. His old glove is a Mizuno prospect series which is very easy to close–this new glove only took a few days to really get the hang of.

He has had it for a few months now during the off season and has built his game day ready confidence up in this glove. The leather is very good quality, so soft. we have conditioned it Nokona glove conditioner and that is the only conditioner we will use, super nice.

When purchasing, I had concerns about the weight as I knew it was a higher quality of leather than our Mizuno but the glove is not too heavy. He used to get some stingers in his hand with the Mizuno but hasnt had any with this nokona.

He plays first base and SS. We love this glove, the quality makes me want to upgrade my own.

Evo offers a wide array of well thought-out and constructed outdoor products. it is often hard to choose which to order. My recent purchase of a pair of leather trigger mittens for my wife is an apt example.

My wife and I had seen a friend with trigger mittens, or lobster claw mittens, while we were out snowshoeing and when my wife admired them I knew what to look for for Valentines Day. Evo had so many choices of trigger mittens it took me a day to choose which one to order.

Eventually I bought two pairs, one for her and one for me. They arrived promptly and were of very high quality. A late winter snow storm gave is a chance to try them out and we are pleased with both the warmth and ability to grip our snowshoe poles easily due to the separate compartment for our trigger fingers.

I bought these as a “tester” because I haven’t really worn mittens due to dexterity issues. They fit with the included liners and with another pair of glove liners that I have had for a while. I like the grippy palm especially while driving a tractor outside and with the glove leashes, I can easily remove them to give my dog a treat from my pocket when I wear them during really cold outdoor training.

I found that having an over-the-sleeve cuff is a big plus. They are also nice enough to wear out shopping, for a run, or even to church if it’s that cold. They work without a liner too. I don’t wear goggles outside yet, but the little “windsheild wiper” looks like it would be useful.

It would be great to have them in other colors, but they are a good buy for a first-time mitten user.

I skied all last winter with gloves and decided to try to upgrade to mittens for warmth when the member coupons came in spring. These mittens are attractive, have nice features, and feel really toasty from body heat alone (inside the house, anyway).

BUT they are such a weird shape. I followed the size chart with a measuring tape, and thought a large would work. It fit well across, but the length was snug. That would have maybe been tolerable, but the thumb is completely bizarre.

Way too short, tight, and awkward all around. I don’t have mutantly shaped hands, so who knows. These were returned.

I have used the Bionic Stable Grip glove for several years now. I have a small, narrow hand so it’s hard to find a glove that doesn’t have too much material across the palm. They are a little higher priced than some but the fit is perfect and they wear well.

Worth every penny for me.

Very comfortable and durable. I play 90-108 holes per week and this glove just holds up. I bought an extra glove for a spare but not even close to replacing the first one yet. Great glove!

Bought for a cold weather tournament. Kind of big and purchased the smallest available size.

I think this is a great coaching glove but as a player I think they are a bit bulky. Plus being in MN if they get wet you are done for. I do think they will serve a great purpose when I coach but not when I play is all.

This is a great glove. I bought it for my daughter as it was time to upgrade as she progresses through the Fastpitch softball age brackets. Sturdy design, yet with it being real leather it is already soft enough to be efficient out of the box.

Her last glove was a leather and synthetic combo and it never formed no matter the amount of stress, heat, ball/rubber band, and just plain old use and time. The glove portion fits my giant hand, and it conforms to hers as well.

The leather ties and Velcro fastener is sturdy yet easily and well adjustable. The padding feels really nice all around from the web, palm and the protective soft padding in the hand insert. If you can snag this glove at a reasonable price its a great piece of equipment.

Some retail stores were asking upwards of $90-110. Shop wisely and good luck this or next season!!!.

My 12 year old thoroughly enjoys his new glove. He said I feels good, it is already pre broken in however he still piled and played catch for a few days before playing a game with it. His coach is impressed with his abilities to scoop with his new glove.

This is a great glove. It broke in super quickly, it only took 2 days. One thing is the leather is lighter in person than the picture. Maybe that was just for me, but I actually prefer the look. This glove has a shallow pocket so you don’t feel like the glove is super secure but this is perfect for infield.

The thin heel pad gave a quick break in, but the glove might get floppy more quickly. The palm liner feels amazing. I loosened the web a little so I can feel like the ball is more secure, and that made if feel better.

MY REVIEW IN ONE SENTENCE: Its a great and comfortable glove for an infielder with a quick break in and a shallow pocket.

Not our first wilson glove. This seemed to be an awesome mitt- My son has had for 1. 5 months catching bull pens to break it in. (high school level) At last practice the laces broke. Nothing like taking a fastball to chest Through your mitt.

Glad the chest protector did its job. Wilson has always been top of the line, but it appears there quality may be in question from several reviews of this same issue. Have a tournament this week, I guess I will pay for the re-lacing so its ready in time.

We don’t have time to go through the warranty ‘approval’ process right now. Frustrated after paying top money for a top product. Wilson should be better than this!.

I just graduated from college as a division 1 baseball player. I used this glove for my first of four years of college ball and I can safely say with confidence that this glove is NOT the glove to buy.

The glove is good before it gets past the peek of its life. Once the glove is overworked and starts to get floppy at ALL, you will have problems with the ball staying in the pocket. It gets slippery, and the web is not strong enough to hold the ball.

I would advise everyone to go buy AllStar catchers mitts, they are more pricey, however you will get a much more quality glove and will have LOTS of less dropped balls. This glove sounds and looks and plays good for a very short time, but will let you down eventually.

I was never going to leave this review, until I saw the catcher from Virginia during the 2021 CWS have the SAME EXACT PROBLEMS I had. We were using the same glove and once I saw he was having the same trouble as me, I had to let the world know to not buy these gloves.

The infield mitts are very good, however I as a division 1 ball player give you the advise to not buy Wison catchers mitts, and to buy AllStar.

I’ve only ridden a few times with this glove, but so far so good. It has met my expectations for comfort, performance, dexterity and warmth. They have been solid in warmth. They do have insulation and Gore-tex, but they are not the most insulated glove I own.

I have only used it in about 25ºF+ temps so far, and they’re toasty (I don’t plan on using these in more frigid temps below 20ºF, as I have insulated mitts for those conditions). The leather looks great and feels durable.

Like most gloves, it has a softer material on the thumb for your snotcicles. I prefer the under cuff design to go under my jacket sleeve, and the elastic material on the cuff w the velcro strap makes it easy to enter and remove.

The fit is perfect for my hand. Snug, easy to get in and out of, and great dexterity with the fingers and thumb. note: The material does not support touch screens, but that’s not a deal breaker for me, since I’m not trying to be on my phone much while riding, and even if I am, I’m likely going to remove my gloves anyways.

I don’t think this was BWF’s intent either.

Disclaimer: I have yet to use these on the slopes. This is a first impression review, ahead of the season. I always wanted a pair of this style of gloves for snowboarding since the mitten helps group the heat of my fingers but the lone index finger allows for the needed mobility to strap in my bindings.

These seem to do just that! Additionally, the interior material is wool, which is a nice step up from the fleece lined gloves I’ve had in the past. The leather Gortex exterior is really flexible, unlike leather gloves I’ve had in the past.

My biggest concern is the leather getting soaked and getting cold as I’ve experienced that with a cheaper pair of gloves in the past. Will update the review if this is the case.

These gloves were great for my hike up Kilimanjaro, primarily on Summit night when temperatures were around -5 F with the wind chill. Once the sun came out, I only needed the inner liners, which were also amazingly comfortable and warm in the 10 degree F weather.

The only downside, and the reason I gave it only 2 stars instead of 5 is because the inner gloves snap onto the outer layer, and the inner layer ripped when trying to unsnap it THE FIRST TIME. That was pretty discouraging as I eventually lost them on the hike up.

Other than that, these are some top of the line gloves for almost any weather condition.
