20 Best Gloves For Toddlers (2022 Updated)

What cute little gloves! My son is 3 and so into helping. with EVERYTHING. One of his favorite things is being out in the garden with his grandpa- he does everything he can to be in the dirt- digging, weeding, planting.

We have tons of little tools that are the right size for him to work with, but I never thought to get little gardening gloves. These are PERFECT. They’re standard sized gloves- nothing heavy duty but enough to keep your hands clean.

The wrist bands are very stretchy and softer than I thought they’d be. Obviously the Paw Patrol characters are the draw for the kids- my son We are currently buried under snow but I am looking so forward to him using these when it is time to get back out there!.

These are the best for little ones! They are the easiest to get on! the zipper is genius! I always have a difficult time guiding my toddler’s little thumb into the thumb hole of gloves. These make it quick and easy with the zipper that opens all the way up to the base of the thumb! totally worth it! Save you and your toddler time and frustration when they are eager to play in the snow!.

I have always loved these mittens and their easy on design. However the 5/6 size are TINY! My boy is 3 and they almost don’t fit. I’ve already gotten rid of my kid’s previous pair but I’m sure they are actually the same size as the smaller versions.

We will try to make it work for this year with them but was really hoping to get 2 years out of them. Not going to happen.

Sizing for this series of snowsuits is off. The size 5 snowsuit would fit children 5-6 (or even 7) years old. Which is fine. The next size up from 5 is XS. The XS runs very large and would typically fit a child 9-10 years old.

So there’s a gap in sizing from Burton and Burton’s size chart is not accurate. Apart from sizing this snowsuit is of exceptional quality and represents good value for a growing child.

I usually purchase size large, so decided to do the same with these. They were enormous and ran halfway down my forearm. Size small for this item turned out to be the correct size for my hands. As far as quality goes, they are very good quality gloves and also very warm.

I’m quite fussy about gloves, I spent ages looking for something that was just right and these are excellent. They’re warm enough but without being so thick that you lose dexterity. Some gloves suffer from bulky seams near the fingertips, but not these, I can still feel what I’m doing without having to take them off every time I need to do something with my hands.

I’m actually a man with smallish hands, but the womens small size is perfect for me. I came here to order a couple of spare pairs for when they wear out, and have noticed the description has changed to ‘unisex’ from womens, but hopefully the sizing is still the same.

If anything I think ‘unisex’ is more appropriate based on my experience.

Despite the length of the fingers and width of the palm being correct, there is simply too much excess material in the gloves. This makes them alittle awkward to handle anything and a bit cold at times.

The cam straps on the wrist are not smooth to use. The seams on the leather fingers have excess fabric beyond the stitched seam inside the fingers which creates an uncomfortable feel when picking up something.

These are expensive gloves and expense suggests quality, which in use these gloves are not. Such a shame, as on the face of it they look excellent.

These gloves feel soothing and make sleep so much easier. They protect me from scratching anything I shouldn’t while I sleep, and they keep eczema protected and comfortable. On one hand I use a non-stick adhesive under the glove to protect the glove from weeping, and the other hand I don’t need that.

The gloves don’t cause itching. I’m also able to use my Mac mouse through them! I only wish they weren’t white. Even if you touch nothing dirty whatsoever and only wear them to bed, they inevitably gray on the fingertips, which is kind of yicky.

And they do stretch over time as well. When you wash them, they shrink back a bit, but the longer you wear them, the more they stretch. Not a big deal really, just something worth mentioning. They’re really good gloves and I’d recommend them.

Overall, I find these eczema gloves pleasant to wear. Even though I cannot keep any kind of gloves on for longer than 20 minutes or so – or else my skin will get irritated, red, and itchy again – these gloves are one of the best I’ve tried so far.

They are soft and feel nice on the skin. However, althought they stretch, and I bought a size L for medium-size hands, they are a little tight. Also, I love their long and rubberband-free wristband. The only con is that if you temporarily have to wear nitrile gloves on them to use water, their wristband can get easily wet because it’s much longer than that of the nitrile gloves.

All in all, this is a good product, and I would recommend it to others who suffer from eczema or have very sensitive skin.

Purchased these for my 3 year old. They are way too small. I wish I would’ve gone with the reviews but thought I’d take the change. Returning them has proven to be a pain, as I can’t return them in store.

These gloves are warm and they keep my toddler’s hands dry! They are an excellent fit for him, he is 2.5 years old. And they stay on for a while. Very pleased!

Great buy and price. A tiny bit bigger than my child’s hands but they will grow into it. Still fits fine and doesn’t fall off. Warm inside. Highly recommend.

Purchased for my 21 month old. I wanted the long mittens for snow play. I put them over his Columbia down snowsuit & he fingers are warm & sometimes sweaty when pulling the gloves off. Gloves haven’t been wet inside or out even when he’s dipped a gloves hand in water.

We’ve been out feeding our goats in Temps less than 20 & he’s toasty warm head to toe. I highly recommend these Columbia mittens. They go on pretty easily. Rarely his thumb has to repositioned. I taught him to put extended finger tight against each other to pull on then poke his thumb out & he does great.

I love the long extended arm section. It almost reaches his elbow. My son has decent finger manipulation with a gloved hand & able to pick up items or hold onto sled rope handles. My kiddo is petite average build.

I really wanted to love these mittens for my little one. Well made, seem durable. But unfortunately when my 2yo goes outside for some playtime, after less than one hour, temp at -5°C with windshield, no snow on the ground, her little fingers were cold as ice.

It really breaks your heart. I bought them full price now they are 15$. If i was you i wouldn’t bother even at this price tag.

I just can’t say enough about the quality of these gloves! Not many companies make a good mitten for younger kids /toddlers now a days. I bought the mittens size 18/24 months for my 8 month old granddaughter (thinking she could wear them for longer than a hot minute) we all know little one out grow everything so fast.

This is why I bought the size I did. Yes they are a little big on her but they fit her nicely and they keep her little hands warm.

After one time wear playing in snow, my son’s Nuptse mitts ripped at the side seam and the coating on the gloves sloughed off. I’m assuming this is some kind of waterproof coating. I see some others who complained of same thing happening and also included pictures that are representative of what mine look like.

TNF’s old Nuptse adult mitts are now also made of this same cheap material. I bought both my son and husband the Nuptse mitts and we’re thoroughly disappointed. He had an old pair of Nuptse mitts and they were made of much higher quality material.

For instance, the entire palm was covered in real leather. It literally lasted 10 years. The new Nuptse mitt has a thin strip of what appears to be faux or extremely poor quality bicast leather only running across the mid line of the palm.

The rest of the material on the new mitts also seem like it’d run very easily if it gets snagged.

These gloves are really fantastic for my son. They have a long zipper making it easy to put his hands in, and they have a velcro strap across the wrist to ensure the gloves stay put. My son loves wearing them, and they’re great for going outside when it’s cold.

For sizing reference, my son is just turning 18 months and I got him a size 2T and they fit perfectly. They might be smaller than what I thought a 2T size would be, but definitely not a big deal.

Love, love, love these toddler mittens! I’m very picky when I buy things for my grandson and these are exactly what he needed. I wanted waterproof because he’s outside every day and these are perfect.

Zippers make them easy to get on and the straps keep them snug.

We bought these for my 3 year old and he doesn’t want to wear them. We’ve had success with the fingerless gloves. (His eczema patches are on the backs of his hands at the moment so the fingerless gloves + clean short nails are fine.

) I think the full gloves look a little confining for a busy toddler. Also he likes to pretend that the green fingerless gloves are his “super hero punching gloves”. So I highly recommend trying to source the gloves in more bright colors! —cobalt blue, canary yellow, or fire engine red.

The gloves 100% help my sons hands , he has very excema, the gloves are quite expensive which would be ok but they gets holes in finger tips after 1 or 2 wears. I understand it is a very delicate material.

I bought 3 pairs last time and they didnt last at all. But I would still recommend them to parents as they do help.

I bought 2 pairs for boys ages 4 & 6. The size was ok but both boys told me Paw Patrol was for “babies”. I should have ordered on-line the same glove with your Batman or Superman. I recommend you find out what the kids like before you only buy what was in your local store.

Fun gloves for my 6 year old. Decent quality, it has been a month and he hasn’t destroyed or lost them.

Everything they described but smaller. The zippered side is great for kids who get mad they can’t use their thumbs but don’t cooperate to put their thumbs in the hole. That said be prepared to do a sizing dance.

I ordered 2 pairs of Kombi’s and the Small was bigger than the Medium. Bit of a head scratcher.

Bought my 3 1/2 year old daughter a large and they got well. The zippers and the red lining in the thumb make it easy to put on. This is our second pair, the smaller size lasted her two years and now her sister will wear them.

Bought these for my 18 month old daughter, size small. They’re easy for mommy to get on and off her, not so easy for her to pull off (which is what I wanted). They are good quality mitts, I plan on buying another pair to keep at daycare.

Great mittens That stay on my 18 month old. I got size 1-2years. I dislike the difficulty of getting her thumb in the thumb hole with the restive water proof fabric and more often than not she goes without having her thumb there.

But they keep her hands safe because she can’t get them off and we live outside! I would buy again!.

These are very nice waterproof mittens. My granddaughter is 3. 5 years old. I bought size 3-4. It fits her hand with room to grow. She was outside for 30 minutes playing with the snow. The temperature was 10 degrees and her hands was warm and dry when I took her mittens off.

Fast shipping and just as described. We ordered a size 1 to 2 years for our 18-month-old and a size 2 to 3 years for our 3-year-old. Both are a good fit and have some room to grow. The cinch at the elbow to keep the gloves on is super handy.

These gloves the children loved and unfortunately the quantity I needed was out of stock by the time the outdoor clothing grant came through. I would highly recommend this product and will be looking for more of these in the future.

Very good gloves. Keep little hands dry and warm… but… the sizes are hugh. Age 2-4 years are too big for a 3 year old. Would be nice if there were more smaller sizes to choose from.

I wouldn’t exactly call these pink. The base color is blue and the wrist band is purple. There is some pink in the graphics (sunglasses, hair steaks, binoculars). If you’re specifically looking for pink gloves these aren’t them.

The gloves are good quality. The stitching is even and tight. The colors are vivid and don’t bleed when washed. They’re not water resistent but they are made of thick material and make excellent toddler garden gloves.

My gloves are two different shades of PURPLE with paw patrol characters on them. They are NOT pink as title leads you to believe. That being said, they are still very pretty. and very SMALL! These are for sure toddler sized.

Tag shows for ages 3+. I am hoping that they will fit my 3 year old granddaughter. I am planning to add these to her Easter basket. The material is too thin to play out in the snow with. Price is way too much for what you get however.

Was so excited when i finally got these for my grandkids. So when they came over we went outside and i put my granddaughters gloves on her and loved how easy they were to put on her. My grandson wanted to wear his gloves that he had brought from his home.

When we came back inside after being outside for 25 min my granddaughters hands were so cold i felt horrible but my grandsons hands were so nice and warm. His parents payed 12. 00$ for his i paid 25$ for my granddaughters.

Her hands were dry but very cold. What a waste of 50$ so no i would not recommend these gloves for playing out in the snow maybe in the fall but definitely not in the snow. I will be going and getting the 12$ gloves for grandma’s house.

We live in Minnesota and we NEED good mittens that withstand cold and snow. I’ve tried many, many mittens over the course of 3 children and toddlers are by far the most challenging to find mittens that STAY ON and keep their hands warm in the snow.

Time and time again I come back to these. What was I thinking trying a different brand earlier this year?? (I was curious since someone recommended them. ) I should have know better. I am SO glad I came back to these LLBean mittens.

We were looking for toddler mittens that were waterproof, would stay on, and that we could get our son’s thumb into the the thumb part easily. These are great. They have a velcro split down the side of the wrist that makes it easier to get his hands in and his thumb in correctly.

They have velcro straps around the wrists that helps keep them on. I was worried about the size before ordering as most toddler mittens/gloves we found were too big. These were a perfect fit with a bit of room to grow for a 2T boy who is on the smaller side of the scale.

My eldest has these gloves and wore it a lot when we had snow early in the year. He said it kept his hands dry & warm so I ordered another pair for this Xmas for my younger son as he wanted the same as his brother!.

The sizing on these gloves are completely OFF. The space for the palms is TIGHT my kid can’t even get their fingers in, they are also very bulky. So poor.

Quality is absolutely amazing, they feel nice both inside and outside. Look really good. However they are way too big for my 3 year old.

I have a 16 month old and bought the smallest size of these hoping for once I might find mittens that weren’t so big that the kid can’t use their hands in them. These are still too big on his hands and hence slip off too since they are not tight enough.

I am betting they will be perfectly snug next season. I appreciate the zipper placement to help get tiny hands in though and that there are small loops inside the edge of each mitten that you can attach a string to to go through the sleeves.

Good mittens just still too big for the tiniest of hands.

My baby wearing now smaller size, but I bought these for the future as they are super soft inside, very warm. Easy to put on Reimas combi.

I ordered these in size 1-3 and product I received clearly states 1-2yrs. Very thin, and not appropriate for winter where I live. Will return.

These are awesome! They’re truly waterproof, hours in pouring rain and digging for bugs/rocks in puddles or a lake, etc. They’re unlined so perfect for warmer rain and for layering thin gloves under.

The 2 issues I have is the single button on the wrist and the sizing. There should be more snap options for tightening. It definitely needs to be actually tight in order to stay on and the snap is just not tight enough so I’ll have to add some.

Also, they run huge even with gloves under. My 4yo average size girl is wearing the 1-2y in these pics WITH thin wool gloves under. They fit well and allow her to move and pick up things freely and they’ll last longer, but these would not have worked in her actual size and I’m bummed the 6-18m size is way too big for my small 2yo.

Other than that I’ll buy them again and as gift and just hope they add more snaps and smaller sizes!.

I measured both of my children’s hands the way the website tells you to, and ended up ordered mittens that are waaaay too big on them. The pair for my 4 year old fits me! I wish I’d bought them on Amazon, so I could have returned for free.

I bought the lined ones hoping to be able to use them in the winter with snow with gloves or mittens on underneath. You’d think the extra room would have helped with that, but they were either too big or too small for the mittens we were trying to put on the kids underneath.

If I could do it over again, I’d get a size smaller than their age from Amazon just for the cold, rainy days.

Finally! My four year old can put these on. He goes to an outdoor preschool in Oregon and these are the only thing that withstand the cold rain and mud in January. We layer with a small pair of gloves underneath on the very cold days.

I love being able to turn them inside out easily for drying, and they dry quickly. Going to order another pair! He is average height for age and wears size 4-6.

These Kombi mitts are sick. Strapping on bindings is a little more challenging in mitts, but worth getting used to because these suckers are SO warm. Wouldn’t go any other way on a cold day. Love that there’s even a pocket for a heat pack, but not sure I’ll ever need it because of how warm these are.

They feel well built, and it’s also a bit like reliving glorious winter days at recess rocking stuff by Kombi again. I’d say fit is accurate, though I have the challenge of chubby yet short fingers so there’s a little extra space at the finger tips for me.

We just had a big snowstorm and these mitts have been great. They stayed really dry, and my son’s hands were so warm they were almost too hot. The size medium is perfect for my 7. 5 year old big guy, we will get two winters out of these for sure.

The blue colour is a bright royal blue in real life, not quite as electric blue as shown in the photos. The soft thumbs and hand warmer pockets are good features, and the toggles and easy for kids to manipulate.

I especially liked that they click together so easily when not being worn. Highly recommend.

I have used these mitts in -10C range and the insulation sufficient to keep my hands warms while snowboarding. Anything colder in the -15C will need hand warner to help but the insulation material is great a trapping the heat inside to keep your hands toasty.

Length of the cuff is just right to keep snow out, as I prefer to fit my cuffs over the jacket sleeves. Only one odd design and drawback is the internal hand warmer pockets – they are poorly placed on top of each hand above your fingers.

When hand warmers are put in the dedicated slot they don’t help much keeping your fingers warm.

This is not about quality but about advertising. These are not YOUTH sized. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering but was in a hurry to get something for my 6 year old daughter who wears a Youth S.

Did online purchase for store pick up. My husband brought them home and I was shocked they were marked “TOTS size 1-2”. They are for a baby/toddler. Now I have to return.

as a grandmother, i have bought alot of toddler mittens but never with a zipper! Honestly not sure how warm the hands were but being able to zip the hand in the mitten instead of having to push little fingers through a mitten was so easy, neither of us cried.

Got for my daughter after having hard time finding gloves for her. Saw these and have used x2 times and she loves them, they do a great job of keeping hands dry and warm. Would tecommend
