After 40+ years of doing many different types of simple DIY jobs around the home (and using Lepage PL construction adhesive), this product by far surpasses it. Gorilla glue holds & binds to every known (dry) construction material surface: lumber, natural wood, pressure treated lumber, MDF, wood composites, cement, brick, steel, aluminum, styrofoam, resin plastics, rubber, ceramic tile).

This might be hard to explain. I recently bought this item cut the tip off inserted into my caulking gun would not come out inserted a nail into the nozzle thinking it had a cover still nothing. felt down the container it was soft.

Had to use a hacksaw about an inch down from the top as it was harden somehow like a puck. So then I had to use a piece of wood to push out to adhesive and a putty knife to spread it. Lucky I needed all the adhesive for the job.

I do not know if this item sits to long on the shelf it would harden since this is not a cheep item. The adhesive still did the job but the application did not work as intended.

I used this adhesive to secure the paver stones on a fire pit. It’s basically the same concept as a landscape/retaining wall. It’s designed for outdoor use (won’t dissolve in water), so it’s better than Liquid Nails or other construction adhesives.

Used adhesive only on top two courses, a few dabs on each brick was enough to keep the bricks from wiggling around. It’s a good idea to check the level of each brick as you go and lay them all in place first, THEN go back and glue them.

I’ve had no problems with it during the high temperatures of having a fire in the fire pit. Great product! I have used this product on multiple projects and it is easy to apply, holds like mortar and lasts.

I made sure to sweep off the surface before applying, but didn’t need to do any more than that to have it adhere. I used it for adhering the top retaining block, and definitely recommend it. Exceptionally Great product that I have well used over the past 20 years.

I built some stairs adjacent to my driveway using concrete pavers that we stacked and glued together in 1997. This year I am replacing the old pavers with much larger precast wall toppers. In removing the old pavers many of the pavers are still well adhered to each other such that I have to hammer a pry bar between the pavers to separate them.

In some cases it actually gouged the concrete pavers that it was adhered to. I consider that great adhesion especially considering we live in northern Utah with our cold and wet winters and several were in the ground.

This is the only product I will buy when I need to glue pavers together and is a great buy in the larger tube size. To save the remaining adhesive in the tube invert the tip you cut off and push it into the end of the nozzle.

It will seal the end of the nozzle and prevent the adhesive from drying out and the temp cap will come out very easily and can be reused till the end of the tube. And it makes the project look great.

We wanted to give this product a try and it worked wonders. We applied it on the crack and it sealed it like as if there was never a crack before. It now appears as a smooth surface. We closely observed the surface after heavy rains and snowstorm and it held up really well.

However, if you get any polyurethane glue on your hands or one something you don’t want it on, it does not come off.

With this glue, you won’t make as much of a mess. It will wipe off easier but will still be strong and waterproof when it dries.

Just bought a house and wanted to get a couple pieces of trim reattached before winter. I location was awkward so I could not completely attach the trim using nails, so I used this as well to fix the trim in place.

This is a temporary fix in areas where a contractor will be renovating in the spring. The adhesive was a little sloppy and hard to control at first, but overall went on well and provided a strong bond that has lasted through the early winter storms.

I may use it in a couple areas that need a long-term fix, too, because it seems very durable. Time will tell.

I got this glue when I tried to fix some damaged windows. So far it does the work. The windows survived Imelda came only 2 days later. I was shocked because the windows could bear with strong wind and heavy rain even though they are old and glued! Besides the windows, I also use this glue for other projects and it works as good as expected.

I don’t understandd the negative reviews because I found this an amazing product if you follow the directions for use. It flows easily which makes forming a bead a snap and when used as an adhesive is super strong.

Loctite 9 fl. oz. PL Premium MAX Construction Adhesive I’ve done a fair amount of renovations and typically glue and screw everything. This product is amazing and far exceeded what I thought it could do.

It grabs quickly but needs to be supported or fastened while it cures. It is a really good product and I will continue to use it. The product is 100% solids so I laid three 2” long test lines and let it cure.

The grey adhesive comes out like a paste, slightly grainy. The next day, I didn’t notice any shrinking. The lines were firm enough to resist fingernail pressure and felt like plastic. I took some scrap lumber to test its durability.

I laminated a 1”x3” to a 2”x3” with a lap of 3”, clamped it for 24 hours and let it cure. I was unsuccessful in breaking the bond by pulling it against my knee. I supported the ends and stood on the seam.

I had about half my weight on the beam it when the wood failed. The adhesive was still bonding both surfaces of the lumber used. In 2018, I was at tradeshow where the manufacturer attached hooks to a thick laminated block of various materials (wood, metal, glass, etc.

) and suspended a pallet of cinder blocks from it. It was a really cool demonstration.

I used the PL Premium Max Construction Adhesive about 3 months ago to fix an item that could no longer be fixed by mechanical means. It is used on an almost daily basis by a teenager who “doesn’t care.

” The adhesive has held up better than the substrate which has since been demolished. It was pulled and pushed all the time. Once the item became destroyed I tried to break the seam of adhesive to no avail.

I then took an Olfa knife with construction blade to it and tried to cut it. Broke the blade. I would certainly attach my hard hat to a steel beam and trust my life with it.

Due to Wx and time constraints, I could not use the adheasive on my barn stair treads as plannned. So I used it on several indoor repairs. One item was constructed with MDF, which can be dificult to repair.

The PLMax worked perfectly. It applies easily and can be tooled well. It does takes time to cure so must held secure until set. I am pleased with the end strength and ability to sand and paint after curing.

I will update my review once the Wx improves and I can test it on my more appropriate barn construction project.

I have tried several construction adhesives for my fountain-installation project, but nothing out performs Titebond Landscape Adhesive. Quick repair and fast drying make my projects easier to finish while having water tight seal.

I got this Titebond PROvantage landscape adhesive just in time for a fix I had to make. This adhesive is truly so helpful and rite now in my area it’s Hot! Her index over 100 and this adhesive still did wonders.

It was so easy to use let alone very easy to set. I have fixed multiple things around my home and it’s done a fantastic job. It’s got one of the strongest holds I have ever worked with and I plan to keep using this kind.

I was really looking forward to receiving PROvantage Landscape Adhesive because I had some out side projects that need my attention. I used the adhesive on our flower beds that are outlined by rocks.

I used the adhesive to hold the rocks in place and so far it has not let me down. Through the couple of heavy rain storms we already had, the rocks are still holding in place. This is definitely a high quality product and I highly recommend it!.

This Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive works like a charm. The packaging is great. Very easy to squeeze the product out. This adhesive is extremely easy to apply. It does foam so be careful to use small amounts.

I used it on a broken wooden chair. I applied a small amount and let it dry overnight of course. It feels brand new like it was never broken. I also used it on my kitchen sink. It was out of place and was very wobbly.

I applied a generous amount to the bottom of it and it sticked really good. My sink is perfectly in place now. Completely dried and no longer moves. I am so happy with this product and definitely will continue to use it around the house.

It is my lifesaver and I definitely recommend this product.

A paver in the front yard leading to the house broke. I got this adhesive and wow does it do its job. The paver, about 1 inch can withstand walking on it with no signs of it coming apart. Got a little bit on my finger but a little turpentine fixed that.

I then decided to use it on the downspout of one of the gutters. During heavy downpours it separates from the gutter making a mini deluge. After cleaning the downspout area, I applied this to it. So far that thing does not want to come loose.

This is one adhesive I am going to go to should I need to repair something else. Highly recommend.

This came in handy just in time. The metal magnets in the shower were coming off and it’s still there. My man uses it alot at work. He does construction so he has tried it on flooring spots and they all agreed it seems to work great.

What is nice. Doesnt take long to settle and stay in place you want to keep it in spot for awhile undisturbed but once it hardens a little you cant move object after. We really like it. So need more since my man is using it alot.

I do believe they use it on walls as well but not sure. He uses it way more then I did. And I’m very impressed. He must be too.

It’s been in use for at least 75 years. It’s what holds your windshield in place. How many of those have you seen fall out? It’s a structural adhesive. It also cures in moisture. This means if you want it to cure faster, spray water on it.

It’s also available in quick set versions that cure much faster. Also, it’s important to get fresh urethane. Normally the bottles will have dates on them. If they are old they do not flow well out of the caulking gun and your hand will grow in size.

If you run out on the job, and you don’t care if the color is black, go to your local auto parts store – they will have it. The nice thing about Home Depot’s urethane selections? They are available in White, Beige, Grey and Black.

Once you understand the power of Urethane you will also understand that it is the ultimate RV sealant. Seal it once – for 50 years !!!.

Without exaggeration, this adhesive strongly bonds almost anything to anything. I no doubtfully love its performance, ease of use, and the low odor feature. An issue I like to report is about the curing process.

The Home Depot web site claims that it fully cures in 24 hours. Therefore, I glued a floor molding bracket (galvanized steel) to a concrete floor and pushed the molding into it 24 hours thereafter. It resulted in part of the base coming off the floor.

Apparently, the maximum bonding power is not yet reached in 24 hours, at which time the adhesive has not completely hardened. I would give it at least 48 hours before trying to apply any load.

I always use Fast Grab, in addition to supplied screws and anchors, when installing towel racks, or toilet paper holders. Always use it when there’s only drywall or a hollow door with nothing solid for a screw.

Other uses have been large bathroom mirrors, tile projects and more. I’m using it right now to glue down 6×24 wood grain tile on top of an older wood railing.

I thought I might try this for a small outdoor project for my wife. Around her flowerbed, she wanted concrete stones stacked to make a small wall. However, not perfectly stacked on top of one another.

I like to do DIY projects around the home but I’m really don’t like to do much with concrete. This Power Grab Ultimate worked perfectly for securing the stones together. It looks great after using this compared to other materials because, I was able to use a small amount and there’s no excess product on the stones.

It did form a grip almost instantly. I had no issues with the glue, worked in my regular caulk gun just fine. The stones have held together great through the high and low temps we have had so far. The rain hasn’t been a problem either.

I also used this to re-secure a couple of baseboards in my bathroom. That was a quick and successful process too. I was able to clean the nozzle and save the rest of the glue for another project. There are so many uses for this adhesive that I’ll be sure not run out.

Loctite Power Grab Ultimate has got to be the most extreme of adhesives. I’ve yet to find a surface that it does NOT adhere to. I had been doing some last minute landscaping in advance of our early winter with accompanying low temperatures, so I was really concerned about utilizing Power Grab Ultimate with the temperatures in the 30s and 40s during the daytime on a stone project I had to finish up.

Low and behold, I was NOT disappointed in Power Grab Ultimate’s performance in the 40 degree temperatures we had that day, but then after actually reading the temperature range, I could not believe that it can be applied with temperatures between 40 degrees Fahrenheit and down to minus 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Also pleased (and amazed) that Power Grab Ultimate worked even when the surface I was utilizing it on was just the tiniest bit damp. I will definitely be keep a tube of Power Grab Ultimate in my boat tool box and in my workshop.

Definitely my go-to adhesive for working in any clime and place.

This stuff is junk. I bought it to seal down some laminate flooring that was not locked into other pieces. I noticed it wasn’t sealing at a few ends and decided to pull it up to retry. It didn’t even bond to the back of the flooring and it clearly says it will.

I paid 9. 98 for the tube, went bk to Home Depot and bought a tube of LIQUID NAIL for 3. 19 and POOOOOF it worked like a charm. Moral to the story??? Get liquid nail for the savings and obvious better quality.

This probably is the best construction adhesive out there. Awesome glue. The issue is the caulk tube it’s placed in. Both tubes I have split while being used in caulk gun. No undo pressure just normal use.

It makes one big mess and pretty much renders it unusable. I’ve never had this problem before. My guess is the tube is thinner and cheaper then it used to be. At $12. 98 a tube you would think it would hold up until empty.

Until they address this issue I can’t recommend it!.

Gorilla – Gorilla Clear Max Construction Adhesive is a MUST HAVE for every household. There is NOTHING that this adhesive cannot mend for you, except perhaps a broken heart! I have used it to seal cracks around windows, repaired a broken piece of pottery (it’s Clear, no worries).

Any item that has been damaged or is broken, Gorilla – Gorilla Clear Max Construction Adhesive will strengthen it back to useable again! GREAT PRODUCT!.

Good stuff. We have a granite countertop, and the undermount stainless steel sink was seperating from the granite. I took the undermount supports out, chiseled everything out, sanded, and cleaned really well to re-attach.

I just wasn’t sure which adhesive to use. I called Gorilla, and their customer support is great. They recommended this product with mechanical support. A little goes a long way. I only used about a quarter of the tube, and i was worried i needed more, but this is incredible strong.

It’s only been a few months, and I will update if theres any changes, but everything has held up great. Just be careful with spillover/runoff.

In 30 years and after using dozens of adhesive brands of various types, I can assure you this is by far the worst adhesive I have ever used. It literally has zero holding power. just a little water and it washes away.

I wish I picked something else because now the job will take 3 times longer to complete. If you remember elmer’s white glue made safe for toddlers to glue together paper, I swear it has more holding power than this liquid nails.

If the “heavy duty” is this bad, I wonder what the sticking power of the regular version is (maybe half the strength of a sticky note adhesive).

Was looking for the liquid nail adhesive in the gold and blue cardboard tube, but the store was out of it. Got this instead cause it also said construction adhesive, and that it bonds all types of woods.

Sorry, but this is nothing but silicone caulking. This will work if your wanting to seal around some windows or doors, but if your wanting to bond something permanent, then get the original liquid nail in the gold and blue tube.

That stuff is like super glue on steroids.

I used this product to hold some new cabinet boards together. It actually hold pretty well. The product comes out very smooth just need to be careful on the aperture not to make a large cut or it would come out as a clump, over saturating the working area.

With the assistance of some clamps and a 24 hours waiting the wood stayed strongly bonded. It most be careful not to saturate the material and immediately clean the area. The one downside its the container as the cartoon easily bend at the end and loose the shape for the dispensing gun.

Also need a way to close the tip for continue reuse or it will harden and waste.

I’ve used this for many different projects and I’m never disappointed. The hold on this is incredible. It’s definitely strong enough for large projects, although I’ve used it for smaller ones also. I’ve used it to hold together a piece of my vacuum that snapped off and it was great! Definitely a must have for any do-it-yourselfer.

I recently used this product on several DIY projects. The adhesive has a very strong bond and I forsee no problems in the future with its capabilities holding. Only problem now is my wife has a long list of more Honey To Do projects for me.

I bought this yesterday and used it to bond bricks together on retaining wall. After it cured, it definitely holds super strong as promised. I used electronic caulk gun to push the glue out and a lot of glue came out from the back of the tube which took me forever trying to clean my caulk gun.

The PL premium x3 and x8 never had such problem and they were much easier to use than this product.

We love our Liquid Nails-Heavy Duty! We have used it all over the house on several different things. We did use it on wood, concrete, on drywall and several other things around the house. It’s super easy to use as long as you have tools you need to use the product.

It goes on like glue and takes a bit to dry but it works great for filling in gaps. You can pretty much use it on almost anything. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Applying it is so easy and it doesn’t take much to do.

I love that we can use it on several different things and not just one thing. It actually last awhile too. I was thinking it wouldn’t because it don’t look like much would come in the tube but it lasted for quite awhile and we used it for several things before we started getting low on the liquid nail glue.

I also love that it’s water resistant, which is so helpful! I have recommended it to friends and family. We plan on buying more and continuing to use it!.

This is some great adhesive I have gone around my home repairing odds and ends. I repaired the trimming on the floor near my garage door that kept coming off when accidentally kicked or hit. It only had a small nail holding it in place.

I also repair the trimming on the floor around the kitchen cabinets that were never nailed down from the start due to builders’ error. This adhesive works great and it is easy to use. What I like most about it is it does bond within moments, I think it holds better than a regular nail.

Liquid Nails has made my job easier around the house and my work looks very professional. I am very pleased with the end results. This product gets the job done. This product got the job done. It is exactly what I needed to get things done around the house and it is good for all sorts of projects.

I used this on a wooden outside chair that was falling apart. Now that I have used this adhesive, you would never know my chair was previously falling apart. This is some strong stuff. It dries fast, but I still had the piece clamped down for a few hours to make sure it was dry all the way before I removed the clamps.

It is great for many different projects. It was easy to use. I like that it didn’t have a strong odor.

First time with a ‘green’ product such as this. Had a project inside a small basement room with inadequate ventilation, and was concerned about using the typical products available that are hazardous.

I had to sniff this stuff directly from 2 inches away to be able to discern any odor at all, and even then it was hardly objectionable, faintly resembling a vinegar type odor. Being a former finish carpenter I can assure you that this is not the case with ‘regular’ construction adhesives.

That stuff is nasty!.

Thank God for the Almighty, well thank Green Building supply really! We did an addition and some remodeling recently and the mandate went out: “no toxic materials”. All craftsmen were instructed that they will not use any fuming toxic glues, paints or materials so they had to list the materials needed that had to be ordered from GBS.

When I noticed a case of construction adhesive that the guys were using to glue a subfloor and smelled that, instant headache, so I stopped the job and said “I told you none of this!, why didn’t you say you needed glue?” Bought a case of Almighty and then let them finish.

I have been using the Almighty on various smaller projects and it bonds fairly quickly and is holding on everything so far. The best thing is that I can use it without a respirator, or mask and be able to breathe fine and not go into a coma!.

Great adhesive and non-irritating. My lungs are extremely sensitive to chemicals and this adhesive caused no ill effects. I’m thrilled. It was economical. It arrived soon after it was ordered. Also great advice on phone.

It takes very long to even start being sticky. Count at least 2-3 hours so you need to hold the two parts together somehow. I suggest applying the glue on both parts, wait 2-3 hours until it becomes sticky, then put the two parts together.

Good points : it doesn’t smell. On the bottle it says it will stain your skin and also will increase in volume 2-3 times as it dries up. Bottle also suggests humidifying the surfaces, water activates this glue.

Wipe off the tip of the bottle before putting the cap back, otherwise glue will harden inside the cap and next time you won’t be able to fit back the cap and the bottle will harden inside. Strength rating : 6/10 where 10/10 is for cyanoacrylate glue.

So be prepared… once set this stuff has an incredible bond. I used it on my kitchen chairs. The spindles on the chairs were loose and I used just a small amount in the crevice because this stuff expands.

I have to say they are still holding and not spinning. I also used it to fix the corner of my home which is a cement material. The corner cracked and fell off and I’m grateful I saved the piece. I sprayed it with water and applied the glue and that too is still in place.

This glue is waterproof and can be used on many surfaces. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I used this glue one time. It did do the job, but. Once dried, the glue tripled in size. The small line of glue was no more. A yellow thick glass like coat covered my surface. Then after about three weeks.

After storing the glue properly. I went to use it again. And. It was hard as a brick!!! Could no longer use it!! So if you want to use this glue ONE time this is for you!!.
