Great for filling deep movement cracks in a wall after renovation works below it. Filled the deepest ones to approximately 5mm below the surface and left for a few days to set before filling the more shallow ones alongside the previous deepest ones.

Impressed by the amount of sealant that you can use without any sagging. Water doesn’t wipe the excess sealant off but an industrial wipe got most of it off after a good scrapping off with a filling knife.

I left this again for a few days to cure through thoroughly but note that it doesn’t dry hard but to a firm flexible surface like a pencil rubber. However after applying 2 coats of acrylic primer/ undercoat to it the surface did firm up considerably.

I have also used this sealant to fill joints between plastic frames & trims and in cracks in wooden fence posts. A waterproof sealant that is both a good adhesive & over paintable with water based paints is impressive & useful.

This was the first time I’ve used this product and I’m very impressed with it. I used it to fix down an alloy chequer plate step cover over a concrete step. At first I thought it was a little soft when it came out of the tube, but it was a warm day and that might have had something to do with it.

It needed a reasonable amount of pressure to make sure it was level, so it couldn’t have been that soft. I gave it a little extra time to cure (36-48 hours) and it’s absolutely solid. Very impressed.

Definitely recommend it for bonding/sealing.

This stuff sticks everything and I mean everything. I remember this from when I was a kid and my dad used to stick the soles of our shoes back on and it was brilliant then. We used it to mend everything around the house, so it’s the first thing I looked for when I needed a really strong adhesive myself.

It’s still exactly the same, amazing stuff and still does a fantastic job. Stuck my son’s damaged kayak back together no problem, without letting water in. Stuck my sister’s shoes back together mended my cabinet door, stuck the ripped seat in my friends car perfectly back together again, so you can hardly see the rip and hasn’t come apart again, unlike the repair place that repaired it for her!! I could go on, but there is no need.

Only downside is, even with the lid firmly in place and on tight, this does dry out over rather a short period of time, compared to other stuff, but it’s well worth the price, especially if you have a few things, or a project to do.

Oh, it sticks! Very strong glue. Takes a while to go off, although I admit it was pretty cold when I used it, so probably that didn’t help. Nevertheless, you can use this very precisely, as it is thin, which is great.

Means you can be accurate. The downside? The smell!!!!!! Jeepers, does it reek! It shoots down your nostrils, down your throat and almost has you reeling! However, the good news is that the smell doesn’t last overlong.

Just get away from it for a couple of hours while it sets!.

No rude product name (“Liquid Bogey”, “Dries Like Snot”), but simply the classic glue. The user needs to understand that it behaves like runny honey, not grab adhesive. You have one shot at getting the job positioned right before it sticks, so you need to be sure of where it is sticking.

I bought this product in an attempt to seal a leaky radiator top on my 1998 Subaru. The top of this radiator is plastic and developed a crack due to a manufacturing defect. To be fair the car has 217000 miles on it.

I have tried a few other products and they mostly work but have over time failed to completely seal this crack. This is the latest attempt to seal that leak. I have not had enough time to make sure this time it will seal.

The product is easy to use as all you do is squeeze equal amounts of the two tubes onto a disposable surface (cardboard) then mix until it blends into a gray paste/putty. Then use whatever you find useful to apply and spread around.

I have found that it is easier to apply when the radiator is warm as this softens the mix and makes it easier to fill any cracks. The drawback to this product is that you will need to leave it untouched for 15-24 hours.

I use this to repair damaged engine blocks on motorbikes mainly on sumps and gearbox casings. Repaired a sump bolt issue on dt125 using this product and new bolt which I lightly wrapped with teflon tape so that it could be unscrewed after inserting into damaged area reinforced with JB weld.

1 year later the repair does not leak oil and the epoxy is not deteriorated. Make sure the repair area is oil/grease/dirt free – I usually degrease all the surrounding area with petrol and scrub with plastic brush or scrap off all the heavy encrusted grease and dirt,(even better clean the whole block down before dismantling) then use rubbing alcohol liberally sprayed on the whole thing and wiped off with new paper shop towels or kitchen towels then repeat process with brake cleaner/ degreaser /acetone whatever you have again using fresh clean towels.

JB weld can be very fluid so I usually make an enclosure using masking tape to keep the epoxy from running all over the place. Then finish the repair with dremel sander to finish.

Easy to use and does a good job patching steel. The only issue is because it has a long cure time unless you apply it on a perfectly horizontal surface it tends to run which means you may have to apply a second layer to fill in the gap left when it runs.

Unless you really need the strength of the steel reinforced version of JB-Weld you would probably be better off using the fast curing version. Unless you only need a little bit the large size (283 gr.

This 08115 will bond just about anything together, great for metals, plastics, wood, and about anything you want to bond. Best to allow it to dry overnight, however once applied, if the product is out in the direct sunlight, it will harden to usable strength in about 4 to 5 hours.

Great stuff. relative to automotive repair, I have put on roof panels, bedside panels on pick up trucks, and “continuous bond” is stronger than spot welds, and also there is no bare metal in between panels like when a panel is spot or plug welded in place.

I have used it to fill pinholes in metal after sandblasting and there was rust-through. This product is not like body filler that will pop out with rust again.

I have a Husky chainsaw that the fuel tank seam leaked. I came across a chain website and one guy swore on this product so it is a bit pricey but I bought some. I use a dowel to squeeze out the two tunes and mixed manually, applied to the seam giving it a day to harden.

This stuff is an old car owner’s best kept secret! I have a 95 Eclipse that I love dearly, but the sideskirts staying up are a known devil of a problem. Even after buying oem everything and reapplying all the fasteners, they still fell after a year, they just snap off.

So after some digging on the forums, someone suggested this, and I had to give it a go. I will warn, the application gun needed is just as expensive, so borrow one if you can, like I did from a local shop.

But this is the end solution to trim pieces that just refuse to be held in by retainers alone. Something I will always keep in my tool box from now on!.

This flexible adhesive is useful for almost any job around the house. It stays flexible for years. I always keep a tube around.

works great! I use it for jewelry, crafts & heavy objects. So far so issues, but do recommend checking your crafts stores for it. Must cheaper I learned, bought on amazon small bottles. Then bought on her thinking for the big one was a great deal.

Then later on learned that it was half the price in my local craft store. O well, still a great product to use over hot glue gun n super glue!.

This is a good glue at a very good price. I have used it to put scales on two knives thus far and the extended work time, stated as 30 minutes, really makes it easy to use. The work time might be slightly overstated at 30 minutes as it begins to jell somewhat before then but it stays usable plenty long enough to position and clamp the scales.

Amazing one of the if not the best that I found Epoxy resin. From the first time I used it and experienced the end result, wow. Like it a lot. You know what youre going to get at the end of a job!

Well, so far so good. However, we will have to see how it holds over time. Just got done with a rust fixing project on my car. I had to fabricate 5-6 metal patch panels to fix the holes. I was going to use seam sealer and rivets, but then I found this product and thought it would do a better job.

I watched some videos on how to use and some ideas beyond just an adhesive function. I ended up using it as a filler and sealer on areas around the patch panel, and to smooth out the transition between panels.

I used the nozzles, and I pumped it out onto cardboard for applications that needed an “icing” layer to adhere. Probably saved me some time and likely will provide a better seal than using rivets. Also, I chose this model because of the 1/4/24 hour work/clamp/cure time.

I looked at other brands that had all the way down to a 7 minute work time. as well as the 3M 08116 which has a 1. 5hr work time. Glad I did not go with the quick one. The 1hr work time gives you plenty of time to get things right, and tackle several areas in one session.

Anyway, I only gave it 4 stats because it is just so expensive, and you HAVE to use the 3M applicator, which is also expensive.

Used to glue a Corvette C3 door skin where the seam had come loose due to worn door hinge bushings and pins allowing the door to strike the body when closing. The product appears to be very similar to JB Weld.

The gun mixes the epoxy and hardner automatically in the nozzle as it is applied allowing it to be directly inserted into the bonding area. Appears to be stronger with less fumes than JB or other epoxies and completely seals areas from moisture.

Can grind,sand and paint if needed. Downside is slightly costly but if you purchased same amount of JB Weld it would be about the same. Also nozzles are a one time use and are left on when finished for storage to use the epoxy again.

Unknown if long term storage will affect the compounds in the tubes as the chemical reaction may slowly work its way back. Extra nozzles may be ordered if needed at about $2 apiece.

I have not been able to use the panel bond yet, but I am getting the panels ready to be bonded. The panel bond looks good and I think that it will work great.

The JB Weld is a superb epoxy glue – with unrivaled holding power. It is made to a high standard with repeatable results from a trusted brand name. Two tubes of glue in alternate colours that mix to form a uniform grey – unlike the budget brands this product offers a long working and setting (curing) time.

The extra time to set gives you plenty of scope to reposition lots of small fiddly parts and get them placed or clamped exactly as you need them even in a warm working environment. If used as stated in the instructions – the resulting bond/fix is super strong and very durable.

(Used this time in an art project to fix over 120 stainless steel beads into a laminate tile – perfect results from a single mix – no waste).

Used to stick the fin back onto my single sculling boat. Seems to have created a strong hold, despite there not being much room for the glue in the slot the fin fits into. It’s quite sticky, but unlike similar glues it is easy to wipe away excess with a water dampened rag to create a neat line.

Was recommended to me by a veteran boat repairer at the club, so has been tried and tested! Only comment is that a white version would be better for rowing boats, as most are white and it would blend in more.

This was bought specifically to glue foam padding into a carbon fibre freestyle kayak. It worked. Other bonding agents didnt (we tested first, so no harm done, other than wasted time and money). No chemical interactions or refusal to adhere to either material (carbon or foam).

The stuff mixes very easily and spreads well – a butter knife or plastic spatula will do the job. We used duct tape to hold in position, weights to maintain pressure and left it completely alone for 24 hrs.

It is fairly expensive for a small amount. We required most of 2 packs and would probably have slathered it on more generously if we hadnt seen early on that we wouldnt have enough to complete the job if continued that way.

Important to reiterate: It worked. The kayak has been out on the water for a total of 6 hours and no part of the foam is coming loose. Recommended. Unlike so many things this does what it promises to do.

after using this thuff once I never screw in a bolt without it. it basically is like adhesive to keep your bolt in place. make sure you apply it to a clean surface of the bottom threads of bolt. just a dab is all you need, then spread it all the way around the bottom of bolt.

I use it for automotive purposes. the product wont let the bolt loosen itself by vibrations or fluids to leak out or rust. I 100% have to have this stuff on every bolt I am working with now.

I used the Permatex Medium Strength Thread Locker on bolts for my cargo rack to ensure they won’t vibrate out of placement. A month later of daily use of my cargo rack and everything is holding firmly with not a sign nor sound of anything loose.

Loctite Blue was the perfect solution for this repair. The previous owner tried to repair the car’s crankshaft timing sprocket large bolt that worked its way loose. But I guess the car sat for a while in the rain and when he torqued the bolt, it was rusty inside the crankshaft and the bolt broke off inside.

That’s when he decided to sell the car to me. After drilling through the broken bolt piece inside and drenching it with pb blaster, it still would not budge using an easy out, tapping with a hammer and trying to turn with a ratchet wrench.

After about a week of trying, it finally came out. The threads were rusted to the bolt. I used Loctite Blue threadlocker after cleaning it thoroughly to keep it from rusting again and to hold the bolt tight against the timing sprocket.

The perfect solution and at lower cost than the parts stores. Free shipping to Walmart, just went by and picked it up.

Devcon 5 minute epoxy in a pair of 125ml bottles is a lot more convenient and much better value than tubes or syringes which leak and get messy. I drilled a 2mm hole in the top of each spout rather than cutting them off.

This allows a thin bead of each part before to be dispensed, allowing accurate assessment of the relative quantities for accurate mixing and the strongest possible joint. I tend to put the epoxy and hardener on to the faces to be bonded and mix them there, avoiding waste.

Having been using a variety of other epoxies recently, I was impressed how Devcon 5 minute really did set quickly and hard, rather than staying rubbery for ages like a lot of other 5 minute epoxies. A bit of gentle heat from a hot air gun or hair drier reduces the viscosity and wets it out across the surface nicely.

All in all, Devcon DV20945 5 minute is easy to use, with minimal mess, and gives an excellent bond.

If you need more than one or two small batches of epoxy, this is a good choice. The equivalent amount in the tiny syringes is 10 syringes (. 85oz/ea). that would cost about $50. This is $15. The epoxy seems good, at 6 minutes it is starting to kick.

I used it to glue down a 10 foot piece of flexible LED strip in a spiral, so only 4-6 inches could be done at one time. This worked well, and the epoxy holds well. Mix for 1-2 min, work for 2-3 minutes and clamp.

At 10 minutes, it’s set enough to remove the clamps and start the next mix.

I had picked up the quick setting epoxy on a previous visit to Harbor Freight but had not had the chance to try it yet, (I like JB Weld). I mixed up a small batch and applied the epoxy to several of chips and scrapes in one of the boards.

Several observations – when they say “quick set,” they mean it. Only mix as much as you can spread in about three minutes as that’s about all the working time you have. After five minutes, the product has set, but still has a “rubbery” or “plastic” feel to it.

I set my board aside to let it cure overnight, and the next morning, the epoxy was rock hard. I couldn’t get over how durable it was. I even tapped it with a hammer, (firmly, but not like I was driving a 16 penny nail).

I dried clear and I was able to sand it smooth and even with the rest of the board. I readily held paint and today, the board looks brand new. This stuff is great.

A new Harbor freight opened up in my home town. So I went in just to shop around and picked up this quick set epoxy since it was a cheap prices just to have on hand. A few days later it was put to the test.

My 9 year old washing machine started leaking water. Come to find out if it had a rust spot on the inner drum. By the time I buffed it out it was the size of half a dime. This epoxy claims to be waterproof so I decided to try it.

I used it to glue 2 pieces of is steel flashing on each side of the hole the whole and let it set for the recommend 24 hrs. It worked perfectly. Great product that a great price!.

I use Aileen’s tacky glue when teaching students of all ages and abilities. One of its properties is that it is thick and slow flowing. I make sure to explain this to the students and tell them not to get frustrated because it’s just a better glue than school glue.

Lay the bottle on its side between uses, so it doesn’t take as long to flow to the tip next time. It’s harder for the students to squeeze too much out, which is great! Also, I purchase the mini bottles for ease of handling and refill from the large bottle.
