20 Best Glue For Nails (2022 Updated)

I’ve tried an expensive nail glue called nail bond. My nails popped off the next day. I tried an expensive glue. It lasted a few days. Well this glue made my press on lasted 2 1/2. It would have lasted for 3 weeks.

But I have to remove for a hand model job. The key is using a nail prep bond primer. I’m very happy. My natural nail weren’t damaged. Great price.

Best glue ever!!! I recently started using press-ons that I decorate with acrylic powders. I did research for a long lasting glue, this was the most recommended and I have to say, I love it. My press-ons average around 3 weeks with this glue.

It’s very affordable too and it can be saved when it’s not being used.

I absolutely wont buy anything from sally anymore. There’s not QC on the products they send. Packaging is open or ripped. And the actual product if its not plastic it looks like someone step on it. Horrible svc.

I never write reviews but had to come and rave about this nail glue. I wear press-ons all the time and struggled to find a glue that had true staying power beyond 5 days. Usually, after a week, I’m re-gluing nails that have popped off and it’s so annoying to have to constantly re-apply.

I used Glamnetic’s glue and guys it’s been two weeks and they have not BUDGED. I’m rougher with my nails too and these have not moved an inch. I am so shook, I don’t know what’s in here, but it’s literal magic.

I will NEVER buy another nail glue; after this, I legit threw away all my Kiss glue and other brands because this is the holy-grail for press-ons. If staying power has been holding you back from making the transition to press-ons, this is the only answer.

I used to get acrylics but it was so much up keep. I decided to try these press on. I read great reviews. And they also have great designs. So I ordered some and gave it a try. They stay on for two days.

And after my nail was destroyed. I didn’t even rip them off they fell of themselves and my nails are still recovering 3 weeks later. I tried a second time because I thought maybe I didn’t do it properly.

But nope still didn’t. And also if you get the glue on your skin which I warns you about but is almost impossible not to will wreck it. They also don’t come with many shape designs. I give it one star because the designs are so cute.

If you aren’t a hands on person daily they may stay on longer but they just won’t for me.

The bottle is a good size and it’s super easy to apply. The solution also has basically no scent which is nice. I think having the brush-on nail glue for initial application makes the application more seamless and strong.

I like to use the little nail glue that comes with the kit as a oops reapplication for when I’ve worn the nail set for close to 2 weeks and they may pop off if I’m rough with my hands. This is the first time I used the brush-on glue for initial application and it’s so good! I wash my hands a lot and take really long, hot showers and there was minimal lifting.

The hold was super good b/c it lasted me for over two weeks compared to my previous applications.

I always have trouble with fake nails staying on, but I dont have that problem now with this glue. Brush applicator makes it so easy, like putting on nail varnish. Will buy again!

This glue is super freaking strong. I tested it out and only glued on the nail tips and then just started cleaning and I was shocked that they stayed on with only the nail glue. It’s completely crazy but I even washed dishes and took a shower with them like that and they never came off.

I had to soak them for the nails to come off and they only had glue. For anyone making press ons this nail glue is for you.

This nail kit is awesome! I am HARD on my nails. I do hair for a living so I am in water constantly and never have a nail that doesn’t lift even when professionally done. I also have two small kids so my nails ore Lao getting knocked or I’m needing to open something.

These nails have passed my test!! Will definitely order more.

PRO TIP in case you don’t read further: holy moly don’t use as much as you would with regular nail glue. i am not complaining but i really thought i was gonna die of old age with these nails on. i wore these nails for over two weeks.

I just started recently doing my nails again. I used to do them when I was younger but the glue was super damaging to my nails. They would be so brittle and yellow. This glue is awesome! My nails aren’t brittle and they aren’t yellow at all when I take the nails off.

The glue dries quick and it hold long. I have three boys at home so my hands are often in water and the nails last about 5 days without any problems. Sometimes one will pop off but I just glue it back on.

I was using builder gel and nail glue before I found this product. I was checking out my items and a Sally’s employee told me that she loved this product and it was great for full cover tips and people with flat nail beds.

I tried it and I love it!!! It’s a great filler for flat nail beds. Only downside is that it takes a bit for it to dry but it does give you some time to make it work if your tip is crooked etc.

I have been doing my own nails, by applying nail tips and adhering them to my nails by utilizing silk wrap as an over-layer, for over 40 years now. I have used several different nail glues over the years and with great success.

For the past several years, I began using Kiss Power-Flex glue without any issues whatsoever, until about 2 months ago, when suddenly, the nails ceased to adhere on numerous nails, starting as early as the day after I did my manicure.

I would end up gluing almost all of the nails ack down before it was time to re-do my manicure after 2 weeks. In fact, things got so bad with the glue failing continuously, that I actually re-did my nails twice within a week of doing them recently.

I began to research why the glue was suddenly failing and found out that perhaps there might be too much moisture in my nail beds and that wiping each nail down with rubbing alcohol will fix this issue.

So I give it a try, but used the Kiss Maximum Speed Nail Glue that came with my nail tips. Suddenly, my nails were so strongly adhered, that I actually allowed 3 weeks to pass between manicures, without any issues.

I actually began to wonder if I would ever be able to remove the nails in order to re-do them. I was really pleased and just figured that the issue was with my nails. I re-did my nails again just this past Sunday, but once again, I went back to using the Power Flex Glue and am very sadly disappointed and frustrated because once again, the nails are just simply coming loose and/or falling off without warning because the glue is definitely failing the purpose it was intended.

I will never ever use Kiss Power Flex glue ever again because all I can guess that happened is that something has been changed with the manufacturing of this product.

Pros: If cap is secured properly, glue will last for months in the tube without hardening; glue dries quickly after applied; glue is great for beginners and provides temporary adhesion when needing to apply press-on nails for an event; glue allows nails to be easily removed and is not rough on natural nails; nails can be removed with oil and water; doesn’t burn is very gentle on skin compared to other brands.

Cons: Not recommended as an adhesive for long-term press-on use; nails will generally last at least 24 hours with minimal activity, but no more than one week; must carry with you at all times in order to reapply nails that accidentally pop off.

I definitely don’t this this glue holds up to its standard and reviews. Personally I juat think it’s okay nothing special. The price and accessibility is great but it falls short for a “maximum ” nail glue.

I also hate the packaging. I always do my own nails and I feel the squeeze tube are annoying and hard to get the product out. I personally like a brush applicator on my nail glue. The lasting power is just OK as well.

After proper nail prep and application some nails still came off with a day or 2. Not ideal or comforting knowing they aren’t that secure. I use it now as a backup/emergency glue only.

I have worn impress nails for years. It is normal for impress nails to fall off within a week. For awhile, I bought superglue to reattach the nails that fell off. However, just recently bought the L.

A color nail glue. I was amazed!! It is very cheap, but it also works wonders! I believe this glue works better than super glue in keeping your nails on! I will continue to purchase this glue! I’m glad I found it! :).

If you put a little bit to much on then the nail would come off easily. Another issue I had was the application was difficult and my fingers easily became covered in glue.

The best of many versions of super-glue. Once sealed and dry, this holds tight, and not just for the nails. Prices for this brand seem to be rising, but I have to have it on hand even so. I swear by Nailene.

I 100% stand behind that Nailene glue is my favorite nail glue. It actually holds your press ons down for 2 weeks+ I tried the brand from Walmart and 4 nails fell off on the first day. That’s is saying something for this brand.

Used this to glue on half tips before my dip powder. For 8 days they didn’t budge. I soaked them all off in a baggie with acetone in it – 10 min they were all off. Presently have full tips on that I used this glue with.

So far 5 days and nothing is budging (knock wood!). I heard this is the best glue and now I believe it.

BEWARE! New formulation 🫣The product no longer contains the Poly Methyl Methacrylate that made it so long lasting and water resilient. I have become an avid press on nail user and this was my go to adhesive.

Using the old formula I could make a set last 3 weeks easy using my hands a lot including cleaning and dishes with minimal pop-offs along the way. I noticed I’ve been popping nails so often lately my friend’s making fun saying I’m loosing body party everywhere, especially after prolonged exposure to H2O.

This is hands down the best glue. The bond holds well, and my press on nails hold for at least two weeks. Most of the time, I have to lightly soak off my nails, because the hold is that good! Definitely a great alternative to the salon for those busy people out there.

I use this along with the Gelish Soft gel nails.

This is THE best nail glue I have ever used. No matter the nail quality, if you use this, the nails will STAY for a while. I’ve done up to two weeks. It could have stayed longer but I just got bored of my nails and wanted to change them.

I bought this Kiss Powerflex Pink Nail glue at CVS after one of my dip nails started lifting. The pink tint is actually helpful when seeing how much glue you’re squeezing out. The bottle is also easy to squeeze.

I have tried a bunch of brands of nail glue and I haven’t found any difference between them. They all last about as long, and are all about the same amount of difficult to remove. They all seem runny, even the ones that say they are gel.

They all seem to dry about the same speed (but I definitely want fast drying for applying nails, since you could mess them up easily if they can be moved around. ) The main advantage to this type is the brush-on is much easier to control.

I love this glue! It provides a great seal for my artificial nails. It keeps them on nice and tight and doesn’t let the moister in, which keeps me from developing any unwanted ‘messes’ under the nails!.

My favorite glue don’t change a thing about it. I use it for everything and I carry one in my purse.

I have very strong natural nails that crack into the quick which hurts! This is the only product that works well!! Brush it on and it lasts for at least a week or 2! I use it until my natural nail grows long enough.

Wonder Bond brush on glue gel Is exactly what it says a gel glue. It brushes on nice and thick. it’s not runny and messy. So you need only a little and because it is a gel it fills in all the empty spaces so that the nail adheres really snuggly.

And it last for a couple of weeks compared to the normal liquid Brush on glues. The only place I can find it is to order it online from Sally’s. I can never even find it in the store. And it is so easy to order it online.

They need to re-design the container. There is a bottleneck inside like in a mascara tube that just smashes the brush when you need to dip it. So far the glue itself is working great but bad brush design makes it harder to apply.

I would think the pounding PPG is getting with negative reviews they would have pulled this stuff off shelf’s by now? Check out LORD CO. they have a REAL fusor that is too of line if you have something that needs to stay put and stay put for ever.

So I decided to do press ons after destroying my nails trying to remove a hard gel mani. After reading reviews, I picked this up and let me tell you it is amazing. I just took off my set of press ons last night after two weeks of wear.

I only had to reglue maybe three, but the others were ON and didn’t budge. The only reason I took them off was so I can change to a new design, otherwise they’d still be going. I wash my hands a lot, take long hot showers, and clean using spray bleach (and other stuff).

None of these things seemed to have a huge effect on the hold. Definitely recommend!!.

It was exactly what I hoped it to be. A nail glue like liquid super glue with the same kind of hold. It repaired my nail that had partially broken in a place where it would have to grow out to remove the damage in seconds!! I have been able to function normally with the repaired nail like doing the dishes, washing clothes, cooking, washing my hair, etc without worrying about the nail breaking again.

I would highly recommend and would repurchase.

I was surprised how tiny the bottle of glue was, but it did stick some false nails back on for me, but it did become unglued again after Id had my hands in water for a little while. So I was pleased when I stuck it back on again and it still flowed out freely.

You have to be very careful though as I managed to stick two fingers together trying to apply a nail back on, luckily I managed to pry them apart rather quickly!.

This glue is very good! My nails lasted through 3 days of torture at work (I have a sometimes grubby manual job). I still struggled to get them off! They would have lasted ages. New set going on today.

In 30 years and after using dozens of adhesive brands of various types, I can assure you this is by far the worst adhesive I have ever used. It literally has zero holding power. just a little water and it washes away.

I wish I picked something else because now the job will take 3 times longer to complete. If you remember elmer’s white glue made safe for toddlers to glue together paper, I swear it has more holding power than this liquid nails.

If the “heavy duty” is this bad, I wonder what the sticking power of the regular version is (maybe half the strength of a sticky note adhesive).

I used this product to hold some new cabinet boards together. It actually hold pretty well. The product comes out very smooth just need to be careful on the aperture not to make a large cut or it would come out as a clump, over saturating the working area.

With the assistance of some clamps and a 24 hours waiting the wood stayed strongly bonded. It most be careful not to saturate the material and immediately clean the area. The one downside its the container as the cartoon easily bend at the end and loose the shape for the dispensing gun.

Also need a way to close the tip for continue reuse or it will harden and waste.

We love our Liquid Nails-Heavy Duty! We have used it all over the house on several different things. We did use it on wood, concrete, on drywall and several other things around the house. It’s super easy to use as long as you have tools you need to use the product.

It goes on like glue and takes a bit to dry but it works great for filling in gaps. You can pretty much use it on almost anything. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Applying it is so easy and it doesn’t take much to do.

I love that we can use it on several different things and not just one thing. It actually last awhile too. I was thinking it wouldn’t because it don’t look like much would come in the tube but it lasted for quite awhile and we used it for several things before we started getting low on the liquid nail glue.

Having tried all press-on, glue on, and pop-on nail brands at Ulta and drug stores (for many years multiple times) I can safely say this is my favorite !! The blue bonds very well, it’s not watery but not gooey or super thick.

I wear my natural nails long but at some point they always tear at the inner or outer edges. Years ago, I bought those little silk wrap films that you can cut and stick on ( or just use a piece of teabag) to reinforce the tear till it grows out.

Well, it NEVER worked for me the way it seemed to for everyone else. the wrap would lift or rip right through within 3 days if not sooner. This glue is miraculous. It holds the reinforcement onto my nail for weeks so now I no loner have to worry about having short nails amongst long ones as I can patch them and have a nice strong reinforcement that I don’t need to be timid about.

I’ve never experienced anything like this glue. The smell is also barely noticeable, it isn’t thick or goopy. Please never, ever stop making this!! I don’t know what I’d do without it now.
