2. J-B Weld ClearWeld Epoxy Adhesive, 25 ml syringe
Ultra clear formula
Quick-setting epoxy
Will adhere to metal, wood, most plastics, glass, ceramic, tile, cement and more
Mixing tray and stick make mixing simple
Replaceable cap reduces waste, allowing more projects per purchase
Clear Weld is a quick setting, multipurpose two part epoxy that provides a strong and lasting bond on most surfaces including tile, most plastics, ceramic, glass, wood and metal. Clear Weld is designed to cure with a clear, transparent bond when used at thicknesses of less than 15 mil.
Clear Weld has a 1:1 mixing ratio, sets in 5 minutes and will fully cure overnight. With a tensile strength of 3200 PSI, sets to a hard, permanent bond. Great for use on tile, most plastics, ceramic, glass, wood, and metal.
Provides an decent bond, but for the high price (with such a small quantity) I was expecting better from JB Weld. At least in my experience with the product, (after properly mixing, and letting it sit a minute or so per instructions) it didn’t set in an hour.
It was still very malleable, almost silicone like. I was expecting rock hard epoxy. It did eventually set a few days later but JB Weld’s claims on the package are a bit misleading. Maybe I got a bad batch.
Excellent product. great hold and quick setting. On the other hand, it was so quick to set that while securing my ‘weld’, which only took a few minutes, the application nozzle clogged with the epoxy and is no longer usable.
Maybe my fault because I did not clear it immediately, but had to set my clamps first. Overall a good value however will have to make an applicator to use effectively again.
Thought I could use this to “fill in” cracked ceramic cup but this is primarily for bonding purposes. Since I did not have the “chips” to reattach, I could not really use this. I originally was looking for Milliput but you did not have this in your store.
The Araldite Crystal Epoxy is a strong, long lasting solvent free adhesive which is water resistant and can be painted or sanded. Perfect for jobs which require invisible joins or high transparency. Craft and hobby enthusiasts will appreciate the clear finish and Araldite Crystal is idea for use on many decorative or repair products including glass, jewellery, ceramics, china and porcelain as well as more mundane materials such as metal, wood, leather, fabrics and rubber.
Not suitable for use on items that will contact food or drink. Araldite Crystal is water resistant, can be painted or sanded and will give you an initial setting time of 5 minutes with full, permanent bond strength achieved in 3 hours.
A 2 component epoxy adhesive with fast setting. Parts repositionable for 5 minutes. Oil, chemical and impact resistant. High temperature resistance ( 30 degree C to 80 degree C).
Brought this as a high temperature epoxy filler to cover up an electrical repair. Quick setting (mix and immediately fill else it goes too thick). Seemed to go hard within an hour. Left over night and was rock solid the next day.
Also used as body filler on a car panel repair. Was easy to apply and sand down afterwards. Didnt seem to stick very well to shiny metal, like aluminium or stainless steel, hence only 4*.
Sorted crack on my vw new beetle plastic bumper. It was about 20 cm long and this amount of resin was enough. I drilled holes on both sides of the crack and support it from back with plastic, builders mash.
Araldite is very smooth to work with. Takes very little effort to mix both components. Has long working time, it is stated 90 mins but I did a job in about 8 mins and during application on and around crack, it had nice texture, enough smooth to place it where I want but hard enough not to drop.
Hopefully my wife will pay more attention on walls, other cars bumpers and bollards so I wouldn’t need any of this repair stuff but reality is that in about two months I am at Halfords buying new Araldite.
I was tasked with repairing an old Swarovski figurine and researched how best to do it. It was only then that I became aware of the existence of epoxy that dries clear and colourless. I’m sure there are unbranded versions that are cheaper but the Araldite product was easy to use and did the job perfectly.
Make sure you read the instructions before use and DO NOT mix up the tube caps or you’ll only get to use the glue once.
Devcon 31345 2 Ton Epoxy Waterproof Adhesive Clear 25 ml (84 Fl. Oz. ) High quality epoxy resin Strongest hold Extended work time Waterproof Devcon is a high quality epoxy glue which is clear, extremely strong, non shrinking, formulated for high-clarity and good impact strength.
Also waterproof, resists salt solution, unleaded gasoline/petrol, mineral spirits, oil and anti-freeze. It resists weathering, high humidity and temperature variations. Works well with acrylic, china, ceramic, concrete, fibreglass, metal and wood.
May be tinted with chalk or pigment. Before use always read the safety instructions carefully.
By far the strongest epoxy resin available. This being clear can be used for various applications but best internally as it can become less transparent used externally. Not cheapest resin available but by far the best.
The 30-minute set time is convenient. I use it to glue a metal screens to cement and it holds very nicely. Unlike some other brands, the Devcon plunger pushes the epoxy and resin out nice and evenly and with little effort, a nice thing if you’re using all of it at once and an even bigger plus if you’re only using some of it.
Also, the plastic caps it comes with stays put on the cut tube ends better than any of the other brands of epoxy I’ve used, so much less likely to have it accidentally spill out in the tool box. What’s not to like about this product?.
This is a good quality, general purpose, epoxy adhesive. It is easy to get equal measures of the two part adhesive, so the reliability of the adhesive when it is thoroughly mixed is generally better than epoxy using two separate tubes.
When it has fully set, I have found that this epoxy is much harder and more brittle than some other epoxy glues so care is needed as to where it is used. It works well gluing wood to wood metal to metal and wood to metal (if everything is very clean and grease/dust free.
The only problem I have had with this glue is that when you first use it the first few grams of the white glue component is very gritty and the strength of the glue is not so good. However, when the white glue component runs nice and smooth, it works extremely well.
The Araldite Instant is a strong, fast-setting epoxy resin adhesive. It is safe, easy to use and only takes 90 seconds to set and sets clear. It is perfect for jobs that require speed and high transparency.
This strong, long-lasting solvent-free adhesive is supplied with a syringe to ensure the two parts of the epoxy resin are dispensed in equal measure. It Is also water resistant, suitable for painting or sanding and has a high temperature resistance (-30°C to 80°C).
The product is suitable for use on a wide range of materials including (but not limited to) metal, wood, ceramics, glass, dry concrete, cardboard, leather, and most plastics. The Instant bond’s metal, wood, masonry, ceramics, glass, dry concrete, chipboard, leather, cardboard, fabric, rubber, and most plastics (except polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, and polystyrene).
This adhesive has an environmentally friendly product formulation and has eco-friendly packaging for easy recycling. Size 24ml Syringe.
I’ve used Araldite 2 part epoxies for decades. This stuff though – it’s awful. It doesn’t set hard (even after 2 or 3 times the quoted curing time), stays like a soft rubber or silicon. Doesn’t stick very well either – calling it a glue is just wrong.
Expensive waste of money. If I can find the receipt it’s going back to the store.
I had two broken statues. This was recommended to me. The key is to join up only two pieces at a time and be patient. The process of mixing tubes is easy and there is next to no wastage. I was able to join up bits previously glued with silicone unsuccessfully, even though I could not remove every bit of silicone.
Clear, light amber, low viscosity liquid. Specifically designed to wet out and bond with wood fiber, fiberglass and some metals. Self-leveling with roller applications. Cures in wide temperature range and can be sanded or shaped afterwards.
Relatively high flash point. Excellent adhesive when mixed with filler to reduce sag. Viscosity is approximately 1000 CP at 70 F. Use with #300 pumps for accurate dispensing. Mfg# 105-B 105B Upc# 811343010003.
I only use West Systems 105 for my boat refits. Mixed with the correct hardner, I use it for fiberglassing and thickened with 406 for bonding and filets. Mixing it with kitty hair (chopped fiberglass) creates a glass to glass bond like no other.
Also 407 additive creates a perfect fairing compound.
West Systems is a boat builders/repair epoxy that has excellent performance. It has also been approved for certain aircraft applications. I use it for a number of jobs but mostly for building model airplanes when I need a good epoxy that’s easy to use and not thick like the hobby epoxies.
It wets out fiberglass very well and can be used to laminate wood to other materials like foam. Its low viscosity allows it to penetrate into wood pores much better than most other wood glues and provides a high bonding strength.
This is my second purchase of this product as I ran out. You can also call the Gougeon Brothers for any questions and assistance. Good stuff.
Dries clear – for clean looking repairs Sets in 5 minutes 3,000 psi – high strength, durable bond Multi-material Bonds metal, plastic, tiles, ceramic, glass, stone, and wood. Interior/exterior use Water resistant Gap-filling.
This Tank Bond Clear Epoxy is very easy to use. Just squeeze a little, evenly and spread on the desired surfaces. We applied this on a few pools that we use for our outdoor animals and it worked fantastic.
Our animals use these pools daily, so when they developed a crack it was in important situation. The tank bond dried very quickly, almost completely set within five minutes. Once I noticed the epoxy was set, I was amazed to see that it actually did dry clear and without a yellow tint to it, as other products have that I have used in the past.
I let the Tank Bond sit for about 6 hours before I refilled the pools with water. We have had no issues with leaks, or cracks, where the clear epoxy was applied. With temps in the 80’s recently, I did not notice any issues with the epoxy losing stability or quality.
I am very impressed with the versatility of what this tank bond clear epoxy can be used for.
Zap Adhesive Z-Poxy 5 Minute Formula PT-37 Epoxy Adhesive 2 part 4 oz. (59 ml) Easy mix Zap Glue is the world leading manufacturer of high grade bonding agents. Our range of Zap’s adhesive products are design for use in any craft and hobby project.
Zap’s Z-Poxy S is a 2 part epoxy adhesive that sets clear in 5 minutes. It creates a tough bond that is shock and vibration resistant. It can be used as a gap filler and can be sanded down. Just mix with equal parts of resin and hardener.
Works best on, aluminium, ceramic, glass, metal, china, crafts, pottery, fabrics, rubber, fibreglass, tile, furniture, wood and most plastics. Always read the instructions before use.
Found this epoxy mix to suit my trip into model building. It is quick setting, and comes in individual squeeze containers. I have found dual joined tubes a pain in the backside, as there always seems to be uneven amounts deposited or one won’t work.
Individual containers allows controlled adjustments of resin and hardener. Only problem is I have found fumes of the hardener to be somewhat nauseating. Otherwise good product for clear work.
Works exactly as advertised and provides a brilliant finish and an extremely strong hold. It does cost more than many other epoxies but this pays for itself as it does work every time providing you follow the instructions.
It bonds very quickly but I tend to leave the parts for 24hours for total curing. I have tried the 30minute cure time but found this to be to long hence the purchase of the 5minute glue.
High quality5 minute epoxy. I bought it for it’s ability to take small amounts of acrylic colour. The resin in the previous batch thickened and started to set after a year so I bought the small one this time.
Overall an excellent epoxy. The mercapton hardner does smell a bit and wear disposable gloves when using.

Ugh. this stuff! Walmart was out of Loctite brand, so I got this. It might “set” in 5 min, but its sticky for hours. It also thinkens pretty quickly after you mix it. I’ll find Loctite online and hopefully never need to use this brand again.
For what I use this for, it just doesn’t work well. The Loctite brand doesn’t thicken as quickly so I can typically use the entire amount I mix, it also completely dries much faster.
It did not harden. My application was repairing my glasses frame, metal-on-metal. I mixed the two parts of Gorilla Glue Epoxy thoroughly, used a tiny dab on an applicator, clamped it, and let it set over-night.
Not only did the repair not hold but the spot on my tool bench where I mixed the epoxy was still a sticky. It may work for others, but for me it did not harden.
Makes wood joints stronger than wood itself. For woodworkers, hobbyists, carpenters, cabinetmakers. Easy-to-mix and use. Will not stain wood. Bacteria and rotproof. For interior use only. Not waterproof.
For quick bonding of materials, look no further than this epoxy adhesive. This epoxy features a syringe applicator for precise placement to bond metal, glass, ceramic, plastic, rubber and wood on just 90 Seconds.
The epoxy adhesive holds up to 2000 lbs. per square inch.
then I decided to read some of the other reviews, and all was great! Most complained-about items: 1) There is no syringe cap – WRONG! There is a black cap that’s part of the squeeze mechanism. If you see it, it has been cut and hanging on with tabs.
In fact, you’ll see it in the product photo, right in the middle of the black. 2) Curing time is 24 hours – WRONG! IF, you stir the two compounds for about 30 seconds, you’ll get an extremely hard bond.
My first 2 were junk because I didn’t mix them longer than 10 seconds. You can also put micapowder in it and have your epoxy match your surface, which is what I’ve done on several occasions now.
If you want a product that sets so fast you can’t get it to your work this is it. I’m a gunsmith and work with adhesives all the time but this one wasn’t worth the cost or my time. There are many, many reasons for a fast setting epoxy but you have to have enough time to apply it to the work and then position it so it’s in the place you desire.
This epoxy was dispensed, quickly mixed and the article to glue picked up and then the stick to spread was placed into the epoxy. The stick picked up a semi-hardened glob that was unspredible. Also the 1 oz size I wrong as well.
It was half of that easily. Save your time and money on this one.
Price was very affordable which convinced me to give it a try. Got it back to the work shop. and that’s when the troubles began. Opening the tube was a pain. Cap wouldn’t snap back on. Even though I wasn’t squeezing the tube, the plunger, etc.
The product continually oozed from the tube creating a mess on my work bench, my hands, the item I was trying to fix. So, not worth it. Very frustrated.
Solvent free 2-component epoxy resin adhesive for quick and strong assemblies. Enables high-strength adhesive bonds to almost all solid materials. Working time up to 5 minutes. Initial strength achieved after 20 minutes.

This works great! I used it to glue rhinestones to brass buttons on a jean jacket. It dried clear and so far it is wearing like iron. I liked the fact that you squeeze out what you need as you work. It dries very fast.
I did work on a porcelain figure with it as well. That didn’t work as well but mostly due to my impatience. I didn’t hold on as long as I should have to make sure it was permanently set. One thing to note.
I got it on my fingers (alot) and it rubs off with some dish soap.

We used this to replace a small stone accent piece that fell off on the exterior of the house. Quick and easy to mix and apply. Mixed on a disposable plate then smeared on the back. This doesn’t expand like the regular gorilla glue.

Value for mone two clock movements for 8 All work well. Clock hands are quite flimsy but they all are and at this price cant complain.
Gorilla Epoxy Syringe 25ml has an impact-tough formula and uses hybrid technology to improve overall adhesion, strength, and flexibility. It fills voids and bonds uneven and vertical surfaces and has a 5-minute set time, allowing time for repositioning.
The epoxy withstands moderate exposure to water and will not break down from exposure to common solvents. It has a low VOC and is non-toxic once cured, safe for everyday handling.
I have used all makes of epoxy resin adhesive for more years than I would admit to, with verifying degrees of success. This type of two part mix it your self is nothing new, however the effectiveness and range of different materials the Gorilla ER will work with is new and very good.
In my opinion this is the best 2 part on the market at present. But a few things to remember, only mix what you need and can physically apply in any one go, it will start to set very quickly. Do mix very thoroughly, I use my vast collection of Starbucks green coffee lid stoppers, and clamp/put weight on parts, the bond is not as fast as the directions say.
The ER is very clear and not highly noticeable at edges when set, again don’t over apply, with this ER you don’t need to. Another good point is the lack of surface preparation required, it bonds firmly to smooth surfaces with out the need to scuff first.
It’s also water “resistant”, I have used it on external gland threads, metal and plastic, this means the whole fitting won’t turn during final assembly and will never leak. Finally keep the one piece cap on the end of the applicator when not in use, this end area does get messy, keep it clean and closed.
Great product which is easy to use. A semi opaque freezer drawer front cracked when removing for defrosting. Checked the tolerances of the product and it was okay to use at most temperatures. A really straightforward application, 10 minutes of pressure, and it’s as good as new.
Not to mention saving £28 on a replacement part Used very little product so resealed ready for other breakages. Wide range of applications and value for money. Recommended.
I bought this adhesive for the specific purpose of joining two pieces of metal together with the idea of making an oil filter tool. I noticed after mixing the two part epoxy together it was quite aquious so I attached the two parts together with a small amount of the epoxy and allowed it to dry.
Afterwards I simply applied more coats to deepen the resin layer and so making it even stronger. It dries very clear and rock hard! It seems suitable for small gap filling and being farely aquious straight after mixing it’s very easy to apply to the job.
I’ve attached a 10mm steel bar to a cut down 27mm impact socket. A small weld would be more suitable but for home made purposes and not having a welder, this epoxy has worked a treat! Just remember though, it is pretty aquious(runny), so for vertical applications you may need to reapply further layers to build the required thickness if a thicker layer is needed.
Also, waiting a short time proved useful to lessen the slump rate after application (allowing it to dry slightly). It seems to be a great glue and extremely strong!.
Araldite ARA400005 Rapid Tubes 15ml 2 Tube PackFor rapid DIY, Araldite have formulated the perfect product. It provides a strong bond in minutes for ceramics, wood, chipboard, glass, metal and most hard plastics.
The water, oil and heat/cold resistant adhesive leaves a finished result that can be sanded and painted.
This is a product that really works, even under heat and pressure. I used to fix my split plastic part of radiator hose of my car. I was skeptical that it would work under such heat and pressure just close to engine as it says on packing max 80C.
I read the review of one person who fixed crack in radiator reservoir tank and it fixed from him. This inspired me to go ahead Here’s what I did. 1. Thoroughly clean both surfaces, sandpaper is ideal for this job.
Later, cleaned with alcohol hand sanitizer. ( every one has it in these covid days) 2. Dry the surfaces 3. Make sure you take equal quantities of resin and hardner, from each tube. Mix as instructed on packing.
This is a chemical reaction and works more perfectly at warmer temperatures, so I had to take out that broken plastic hose from radiator and brought in home. 4. Apply the mixed compound to the required area and hold it firm or place under light pressure.
This is the most critical part to ensure that after sticking both parts, there should stay intact without even slight movement. I didn’t wipe the excess as I wanted to reinforce the joint externally.
5. Immediately after sticking both parts together, I warmed the joint with hair drier for 10 minutes, then 5min break and then for another 10 min and left overnight for about 12 hours. 6. In the morning, it was solid hard and ready to be fitted.
7. its 2 weeks now, 600kms driven in summer, still no leak at all. I am very happy that this product has saved me from expensive replacement part. hope this helps you too. Regards.
I used Araldite Rapid adhesive to attach a piece of wood to the interior of a fibreglass boat. Despite the 5 minute reference in the name, I would say that it took about an hour to go hard enough to handle in 15c to 20c.
This is still pretty good in my opinion because some epoxy resins take several hours. The glue did not drip out of the joint despite me using quite a thickness to fill the uneven gap – good again. I temporarily held the wood in place with duct tape while it went hard.
I fully expect that after 24 hours it will have cured to full strength and be stronger than both the wood and the fibreglass. I have used epoxy resin of all sorts and this one is very convenient to measure out and use.
I’d been looking at both this and the Gorilla Resin. This is a little cheaper and had better reviews, but didn’t have the syringe function. I went with this as it had better reviews and I’m glad I did.
Easy enough to squeeze out and the mixing plastic tool is surprisingly useful. I used it on plastic and taped the joint while it set (even taping over where the epoxy had been). After 30-mins removed the tape (and it came off the epoxy part fine) and then left it for another couple of hours to fully set.
Very, very strong. I’d recommend reading the instructions (on the packet) before use, just so you do what it says to do (the trick of using a blade to remove excess whilst it is partially set works well too).
Plenty in the tubes though and OK to store given there can be no cross contamination. Really pleased with the purchase and Toolstation excellent as usual with C+C with it being in stock in the local store.
A high quality aliphatic resin from Deluxe Materials. Perfect for use on hardwood, balsa and plywoods. Once cured this adhesive sands easily, and creates a joint that is both durable and strong. Virtually odourless, and water soluble for easy clean-up.
Famous “yellow” wood glue used in aeromodelling and professional applications where hard woods are used; dries crisper than PVA giving better sanding specially with balsawood. Will not pull joints as it sets, resulting in better dimensional stability important for airframe construction.
Also sets at low temperatures and is water resistant making it ideal for model boats.
I have used this adhesive for many years. It is very good and suitable for the any woodworking and craft work that I have used it on. Such as: Model aircraft, model boats, furniture repair, furniture making and paper and card crafts.
However the catagories shown above are a bit misleading as I would not describe any glue as entertaining or educational, but can be used for these purposes so I gave them a ‘yes’ anyway. It has good ‘grab’ but can be repositioneed for a short time.
I usually clamp or put weights onto items being glued. I have never had an issue with the strength of the joints so made, on one occasion I needed to dismantle an item glued up and ended up breaking the wood rather than the joint! I highly recommend this product.
I enjoy ship modelling and have used this glue since ever, but always bought the small bottles from the Model Shop. This time I looked on Ebay and found my favourite adhesive in a large size which was a really not to miss bargain.
Resin is a type of synthetic polymer that is used in a variety of products. It is a versatile material that can be used for everything from adhesives to coatings. Resin is made up of small molecules that are linked together to form a larger molecule.
These small molecules are called monomers. When the monomers are linked together, they form a polymer. The polymer is then cured, or hardened, to form the final product.
There are many different types of resins, and each has its own unique properties. The type of resin you use will depend on the application. For example, epoxy resins are often used in adhesives and coatings because of their strong bonding properties.
Polyester resins are commonly used in molded products such as boats and car parts. Acrylic resins are used in a variety of products, including paints and plastics.
No matter what type of resin you use, the curing process is essential to the final product. The curing process can be done with heat, UV light, or chemicals. The most common method is to cure the resin with heat.
This is called thermal curing. Thermal curing is typically done in an oven. The oven heats the resin to a high temperature, which causes the molecules to link together and form the polymer.
UV curing is another type of curing that uses UV light to harden the resin. This type of curing is often used for products that need to be quick-drying, such as nail polish. Chemical curing is the third type of curing, and it uses chemicals to harden the resin.
This type of curing is often used for products that need to be very strong, such as concrete.
Once the resin is cured, it is then ready to be used in the desired application. Resin can be used for a variety of purposes, including adhesives, coatings, molded products, and paints. It is a versatile material that can be used to create a variety of products.
