20 Best Glue For Scrapbooking (2022 Updated)

Works great! Love the variety! Plenty of mileage to start multiple books. Just bought my second set.

Why a single star when I LOVE this glue…? Because every. damn. time I get 1/2 or 2/3 of the way I through a bottle…the rest won’t come out no matter what I do. Last night I needed some-I took a pallet knife I had handy and was literally trying to “dig” out even a small bit of glue.

It was like a half solvable rock! Paying at least $ 8-12 per bottle and can only use a small portion of it. So sad. It’s better than it’s counterparts but we should get a refund for not being able to use the whole thing.

I ordered this online because it is not easy to get to the store and it is a bit out of my routine, plus I have cut back on going anywhere except work because of COVID. So this (my favorite glue) arrives as a solid.

Not a glue. Not useful at all. I was waiting especially for it too. I read the return requirements and I can pay a return fee which is the same amount I paid for the glue, or I can go to the store. Not happy.

I got this to make greeting cards with after seeing a person on YouTube using it and saying how wonderful it was. I don’t like it at all for that purpose. I made a huge mess, and had an awful time cleaning hands, etc.

I will say it is probably a great glue but not for cards. It dries rubbery to me. It does hold. Not water cleanup, not sure what.

I used it to make a book for my granddaughters graduation from high school. I had many photos and appreciated it being acid free. It was easy to use. Dries quickly. Be careful when placing because it adheres almost immediately.

Ive had better luck with this glue that others Ive tried. For best stick, apply a bit on back of photos, etc. and on surface applying it to. Easy to apply, doesnt smell. Good value. I make a memory book of a trip in an old-fashioned scrapbook with photos, brochures, etc.

and can then add a script of my trip plus written notes on the pages pointing to special things I want to remember or a personal comment. The photos are still in place when I revisit the trip later.

An archival grade glue stick that STICKS. AWESOME!

I love Beacon 3 in 1 glue. I primarily use it for building my miniatures. It is tacky enough to hold a piece in place with time to reposition if necessary. It dries clear and works well on many different materials.

I would liken it to the consistency of hot glue but without the worry of getting burned. It can be a bit stringy but easily breaks with my fingers and I will have a wet wipe on hand to clean off right away.

I am so glad to have discovered this product.

This is the best craft glue I have ever had. No hype, really the best. When used between two paper sheets it spreads out thin and leaves no bumps or “ghosting”. Warning, when they say instant grab they mean it! You better make sure you have the glued item placed right the first time as there is no repositioning! The other downside is the odor.

The smell is as strong as contact cement but disappears quickly. I have used this for gluing 3D objects with perfect results. This will be my go to glue from now on!!.

This is an amazing product. I make cards all the time and have used a plethora of glues. This one outshines them all. Checks all the boxes, non stick cap, dries quick, spreads thin or thick, positioning can be done quickly after initial application and stays sealed.

I like this glue for my card making. It holds well, dries fairly quickly and doesn’t wrinkle up the paper if you use just the right amount. I also like that the cap has a built in point that keeps the glue from clogging the tip.

I still used double sided tape for larger pieces of paper, but this is fantastic for anything less than 2×2 inches or bigger intricate pieces from die cuts.

First time user and pleasantly surprised. Easy applicators, no leaky mess. Clear and doesn’t warp paper. Would highly recommend and will purchase again in the future. If I had to find a negative – its not super easy to move around once you’ve placed it down (you have a short window for adjustment).

Great product and versatile for several crafts. Unfortunately, using it this morning, I squeezed a bit too hard and wound up with glue on a jacket sleeve. I immediately doused the sleeve under running water, but now am not sure if that was the right thing to do.

This pack of glue is perfect for a household of crafters and students. There are enough glue sticks to go around, and they are a very nice size. My school aged kids have used these several times already, and their projects have all held up well.

I have used these glue sticks for my own little projects for the Elf on the shelf, and I am very pleased with the results. The purple is a nice effect to show where you have already put glue, and I love that it dries clear.

I do a lot of arts and crafts with my niece and nephew. I prefer glue sticks, otherwise my nephew tries to eat the glue. These glue sticks are HUGE and long lasting. They go on purple so you can see how much glue you’re adding and dry fairly quickly.

I’ve used them with construction paper and they do the job! The glue washes off easy, which is perfect if you’re working with kids. Overall, it performs like you’d expect a glue stick to perform.

I needed a fabric adhesive for a small project, so was happy to find this inexpensive option. Everyone’s used a glue stick, so it was easy to use. Holds well for my appliqué project. Even washable, following directions.

Very strong glue. I use it for paper crafting and card making. I like buying it in the larger bottle and refilling a smaller handy size bottle. I also like being able to use coupons for discount when buying.

This is my all-time favorite wet adhesive glue to use in paper crafting. It works just as good as Fabri-tac (sp?)but it’s a lot cheaper. It doesn’t wrinkle your card stock and it adheres pretty much everything to paper including small metal objects.

Have used this glue for years with NO problems. Dries quickly. Let dry completely for 24 hours before sliding projects behind plastic inserts or plastic could become wrinkly or wavy. After that it’s safe and perfect for archive.

This is a fantasic glue. Water based, holds like superglue. Dries clear. Cant rate this highly enough. I use it for scale modelling, and it doesnt affect the plastic or paint like other glues do

These are the best and perfect size glue dots for me. I create and make many cards, as my hobby. I use these for embellishments used on my cards, instead of messy glues. I have many uses for them, especially smaller ones.

They are adjustable without damaging my cards, and stick very well. If you’re a crafter, or not you will find them easy to use. They come in other sizes and this brand is the best quality by far. I highly recommend this product.

The dots are very small and sticky, sticky, sticky. They worked great for attaching a photo to the mat. I used tweezers to pick it up and place it onto the edge of the photo. It’s a great product and just what I needed.

Have been looking for the perfect glue that isn’t watery, and doesn’t crack when dry, and doesn’t take forever to dry. These are perfect. Think of a glue tape and its like dots of that. Very cool idea and works great.

The reason I purchased this glue was because I watched an online video where someone used it to apply nail foils to a manicure and they said it was the best glue out there. The glue I got with my nail foils worked okay, but this one really does work better.

The day my glue arrived I wanted to do my nails and try it out, but I didn’t have time. I put the package aside and figured I would just use it another day. However, my daughter “suddenly remembered” she had a major project due at school the next day and she didn’t have any glue.

Mom to the rescue! (again, right?) She used this glue on her project and it dried quickly and completely, the plastic pieces and the poster board she glued them to stuck through a school bus ride to school, during the presentation of her project in school, during the week they were displayed, and home again back on the same rowdy bus ride.

I did eventually use it on my nails and it was great because the foils stuck where I wanted them to stick, and the whole thing removed easily with nail polish remover when I wanted to take them off, and with no damage at all to my nails.

I sent a message to the company regarding this glue. I wanted to use it to glue buttons onto fabric. They said I could use it for my purpose. When I received the glue, I unscrewed the lid and it was already open and the glue had gone up into the cap and it started dripping and spreading everywhere.

I tried to put the lid back on and glue was escaping around the rim, I got glue all over my table, my fingers and it was a sticky mess. I ruined my first button and had to throw it out. I did not realize that you have to first put a little glue on the back of the button, and then put some on the fabric and let both of them dry first before adhering.

THIS IS SO TIME CONSUMING!! AND NOT PERMANENT. I could pluck off the button after adhering to the fabric. I wanted a glue that would permanently glue the button on and not be able to remove it. I don’t want a lawsuit from a customer who’s child removed and swallowed the button from my item.

I will not be using this glue for my items and it was a waste of my money.

I’ve been paper crafting for many years and I’ve never used a glue that is so versatile and unique. The applicator tip is so tiny and clog free that I don’t even need to purchase an alternate precision tip.

If you need a paste that dries slowly it may suit your purpose. It took almost 12 hours to dry for me and was hard to spread evenly using a squeegee or any other method on a big project. I could have just used mod-podge liquid and worked a lot faster (and cheaper).

The installation was temporary outside and the product eventually colored white from the moisture in the air. I was using flower petals and they would not stick. It is probably perfect for some other environment and materials but it is not versatile.

I love multi-media projects and using beautiful papers. I don’t want glue that shows. I want a non-acidic glue that will be archival. I also teach art and using glue with children is SO frustrating for me and for them, when the glue bottle gets stopped up over and over again.

That does not happen with YES paste for paper projects. There is no pouring out too much glue, so it is actually economical- less waste and less mess. (Below is a photo of my most recent paper project, using YES paste.

I was really excited to get this Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive, as I had heard so many great things about it. It took both hands to get this glue out of the bottle and it seems to ge old/dried glue. Very disappointed :(.

I love the consistency not super thick but not as runny as the Gina K connect so it stays where I put it. I have not had it fail on cards in my stash, I made over a year ago. it has not yellowed and does not have a lingering smell when using.

This is an excellent adhesive for card-making. I have used the tip on the bottle in places on extremely narrow die cuts without a special tip on the glue. The glue dries clear so there aren’t any blemishes on your handmade cards.

I really like it and am going to buy more.

Been using Solomon’s Sobo for 50 years. Delta changed nothing; still can be washed out (not washable!), but have used it for wood when all 4 of my wood glues thickened beyond use. But the absolutely best use of Sobo is repairing split book pages; it never yellows (Solomon’s.

Won’t know about Delta for a while). Never throwing anything away, including boxes, Sobo is my choice for torn boxes; a thin bit to join where the box is torn, some Gaffer’s tape in the appropriate color and the box is good for a few more generations.

(Many of our books have been repaired with Sobo including many volumes of the 50 year old Golden Giants of Literature. The 100 year old Harvard Classics set has never needed repair! The Patrick O’Brian – Aubrey Maturin series, below the “5 Ft.

Shelf of Books” has needed the most repair; I just finished my 11th end to end reading of that 20 volume set. It’s a book club edition, so it’s not well made). Happy collecting.

The is absolutely no other glue of any kind that is better than this glue no matter what it costs, what it states it is used for, or how well known it is. I have been using this glue for years for everything including wood, ceramics, plastic.

Material, styrofoam, foam, paper, tile, metal, and more. It always works and does so using a small amount. It works quickly and permanently. It’s name does not do it justice since it is truly an all purpose.

All surface glue. It always amazes me and never disappoints. I have bought bottles of it so I never have to be without it and purchased bottles for my friends. It holds like Crazy Glue without the dangers of Crazy Glue.

It washes off easily and is great for kids. I have rarely found a product as completely useful, efficient, and perfect as this glue. Every household should have at least one bottle as should businesses, schools, and any place that has glue now.

You will not be sorry or disappointed.

I have used Sobo Craft Glue for many years. This product does alot more than what is stated on the bottle. I have used this glue for jewelry, fabric, repairing broken furniture, chipped vases/bottles etc.

For paper products it adheres and dries quickly in matter of seconds. For metal, fabric, wood, glass you must allow it to sit for a small length of time (such as 1 hour). Once that the this glue is dry the item is not coming apart! It holds better than most glues that I have used.

Comes out white and then dries clear. Simply use a tooth pick to apply the glue on small items where pieces are difficult to apply. What is really great about the product is that one small bottle will get you through over 50 projects or more if you are an individual that constantly crafts paper, jewerly, etc.

It goes a long way verses using adhesive tape. Very cost efficient! I give this product a 10 Star Rating.

I have used Elmer’s Glue since I was a kid, and I still swear by it. Easy to use, easy cleanup, and this glue has hundreds of uses. When little corners or holders break off, this glue is the perfect solution.

Sturdy and dries clear. Just peel off any excess that might have been spilled on your table or work bench. Highly recommended to others.

Elmer’s. It’s a classic. Always reliable from one’s kindergarten craft projects to your middle age craft projects or quick fixes around the house! It’s nice to have an American classic at your fingertips; since Elmer’s is the glue that has held our creative projects together since 1947.

This is not technically school glue. I was able to obtain and use this glue outside of the context of a school setting. That being said, when it came out of the bottle nozzle white, I thought to myself, wow thats some glue alright.

Now you may be saying to yourself, Natalie, are you sure the glue is real just because its white? And Im telling you, the authenticity was initially questionable. After about three tries of creating slime, however, the glue was turning magic.

This is how I know it must be real. Dont be afraid to ease the liquid out slowly. It takes a long time to dry on your hands and mouth, but only so much glue will cover one area. Treat your bottle with care.

Its inanimate and doesnt know how you feel, so it just behaves the same way a scissor or a paper would. You have to be careful with this one.

I bought these to see what they would be like. They are very sticky, so be careful when you are placing them. They were good but I wont be buying any more. This is due to them sticking every where except where you want them to stay.

You can cut them up if you want some for small places.

Being instant stick these glue dots save time & are less messy than pots or bottles of glue. Nice & sticky, easy to use & flat enough not to show they have a variety of craft uses. If necessary I fit them into smaller pieces.

I have used hundreds of these to put photos into a scrapbook for each of my children’s lives up to 21years. The glue dots are an easy way to attach the photos. They are supposed to be repositionable, which they are with care immediately, but once they have been stuck for a while they are tricky to peel away.

The last roll I bought were a bit difficult to peel away from the backing paper, which is not something I have found before. Perhaps they had been stored for a long time, or in adverse conditions. Generally easy to use.

Very good product! Strong glue, perfect for papers because it doesn’t leave chunks, smells good and practical! I recommend 🙂

This is the best glue stick for general crafting purposes. My wife uses it frequently for making greetings cards.
