20 Best Glue For Wigs (2022 Updated)

This bonding glue is the best glue I have used so far. What I love the most about it is how easy it is to apply with no mess. This glue is perfect for beginners and pros. I also love that the glue has two different ends that have different purposes.

The bonding glue stays on for a very long time and I rarely needed to touch it up. There was no irritation or missing edges. The glue remover works really well at removing the lace without any damage to your hair or the wig lace.

I would highly recommend this glue.

This glue is great. It holds well and work great with shorter duration needs. I have used it for daily cosplay and it usually holds the entire day. I would recommend watching some tutorials to use it, as the first time I tried it was a mess, but after reviewing more information it was super easy! I will mention that this is not a semi-permanent hold.

It will not last well after a day of use and does need to be reapplied or touched up if using as a permanent hold. Great otherwise.

This all mighty bond dual tip is awsome. I love it. I didnt need to use any think else. Applying was easy. Just squeeze and use the same place to smooth on the glue. It dyed pretty quick so I didn’t have to use my hair Dyer.

I had one small spot after I was done putting my wig on and used the other tip on the opposite side. Just perfect. Small and Precise. I definitely will be using this product on a regular basis.

Good product, has super strong hold that lasts for hours at a time. The glue is a little stringy but if you use the small wooden stick that comes with it, you can catch the excess and cut it away with no problem.

Then just remember to clean off the stick and glue tip applicator with a baby wipe or wet paper towel. The product is definitely a good buy and highly recommend.

Do not buy!!!! Its really hard to use and its bad quality. I used it for my wig and when I took the wig off, my hair came off with the glue. This glue left a white residue on my lace front wig so I washed my wig several times hoping it was gonna come off but It didnt.

Waste of money. I dont recommend it!.

Unfortunately,this product broke me out so bad and I only used little dots but the reaction was not pretty 😩 I had red raised skin for weeks I’ve never had an allergic reaction like that to a lace glue before.

I recommend before trying this product do a patch test to ensure you aren’t allergic I usually do but I was in a rush for an event and didn’t do one and I regret not taking that extra step. I had friends of mine try this product,They had nothing but good things to say and no reactions to this product.

I think it just depends on the person overall great hold the product definitely works just not the right product for me I’m giving this product a 3 out of 5 only because although I did have a reaction to it the hold of this product was great with all of that being said Patch Test is a must.

So i ran out of glue 2 hrs b4 my shift started and this was the only glue the store had left so i bought it for 30. 00 bucks (ouch) I wasn’t happy …. at first. I used it and OMG!!! My wigs werent going anywhere and every time i use it my wig is set in place , i can tug on it and it will not move even when i sweat.

I have very sensitive skin and have not had a reaction and i have with other glues in the past. I will be spending 30 on this again, its definitely worth the money if i dont have to worry about my wig slipping or lifting.

I have to say that when I first used this adhesive. I didn’t like it. I thought it wasn’t holding my lace frontal down. But the problem was that I wasn’t using this adhesive correctly. Folks. This adhesive works great.

you just have to know how to use it. Check out you tube videos on how the adhesive is supposed to be dotted along your forehead (in front of your hairline) then use your blow dyer on cool and keep it on the area you applied the adhesive until it turns clear.

then re dot again for your 2nd layer and repeat same steps with the dryer. Trust me it works. It’s all about getting the hang of it. Now I haven’t tested out the adhesive for more than 1 to 1. 5 weeks.

It’s just my preference to clean the lace and re-apply after a week has gone by. But otherwise it does last for that amount of time. I’ve gone roller skating and sweated hard and my frontal was still in tact.

Just when I got home after washing my face. I tied my hair line area up with a scarf. My frontal was still laid the.

Its pretty good glue. Its as it says pretty.strong. not the strongest. im sure ive tried Stonger but itp packages great. Good quantinty. Spare aplicator sticks. And Its doing the job for sure.

This is one of the best Lace glue that is on the market. I have been using it for a while and it doesn’t irritate my hairline nor my skin. I am able to clean any leakage of the glue with alcohol. I will continue to buy this product and I recommend this to anyone for a strong longer hold once you apply it and let it become tacky.

Buying a two 3. 4 oz package is a great value and I will continue to buy. I received full bottles not half bottles.

Wasnt waterproof for me at all . The glue turned white and wig became unattached from the hairline while showering got front of wig slightly wet. I didnt fully emerge in water

If using as a lash glue, do not recommend. I’ve tried ever which way to apply the product. Smaller amounts, larger amounts. Waiting longer and shorter amounts of time before placing the lash strip. It never holds the lash.

And I don’t even wear extreme lashes. If it can’t even hold a featherweight lash in place I can’t imagine it could hold anything else in place, much less a wig. Ancient, expired lash glue that’s been sitting in a car in the middle of the summer works better than this stuff.

This would get 5 stars if the hood was not changed. It is quite large now and will not stay up without the face guard pulled up. Maybe add an adjustable elastic next time. Sometimes I want my ears covered without my face being covered.

However, this is my favourite winter running top. I can wear along up to -10 and then just need a base layer.

I do not use this for wigs since I have so much hair of my own. I use this glue in place of lash glue! I wear strip lashes everyday and this is the best! No make up remover to use! It’s rubbery and therefore just comes right off as you gently pull lashes.

No melting or cracking!.

I’ve heard many complaints about this product being stringy, clumsy, & hard to manage. Maybe because of those reasons I was aware & took proper steps. I look at it like a bottle of nail polish remover.

Wipe the brush as you pull it out of the bottle. All sides of the brush to make the glue spread evenly around the brush. As you continue to wipe the sides pull the brush all the way out. The stringiness becomes less & less.

Twirl the brush in a circular movement to make the glue even less stringy till you can no longer see the string & apply. I am a newbie (less than 3 months) as far as wearing wigs & this was my first experience with any type of glue.

When you find something that works, why try anything else? Walker’s has great hold, is easy to use, & easy to remove (unless you put it in your hair). I use hair adhesive remover & sometimes a little castor oil.

Strong adhesive that can last for several days if necessary. No negative reaction to skin. Best kept in the refrigerator to prevent thickening. That will happen more often with the large bottles. Recommended!.

This glue held my lace down for about a week. This was with 2 layers. The glue worked well with sweat but began to loosen with pool water. I wouldnt buy this glue again or recommend it solely due to the fact that it is incredibly messy to work with.

The glue is very stringy and runny and the applicator brush is all but useless. The design would have been better if the application process was similar to applying lipgloss. This glue is NOT beginner friendly and is not worth the headache.

Don’t get me wrong i love Both, the red can and this one. But this one holds 20x stronger than the red can. I installed my wig on October 18th and it is now November 5th and i swear i haven’t had to touch up anything!! My lace is STUCK! I love this adhesive spray!!! And i’m a sweater soon as i started sweating while using the red can my lace lifted (the hold will only last me for about 2 days max) i’d have to keep the spray and an elastic band in my purse.

but this one is something serious! It’s been 2 weeks and my lace hasn’t even lifted yet. Ebin New York you guys have a PERMANENT customer! And if you were skeptical about purchasing this one BUY IT!!! hopefully my review helped someone.

My holy grail wig bond! I have literally tried every glue you can think of and this right here, is the best! First, I clean off my hairline with a cotton ball that has alcohol on it. Then the key is spraying the lace and pressing it down with a rat tooth comb! While your pressing it down , use a blow dryer.

Do this three times and make sure each time, the soray is dry! Put your elastic band on afterwards and you’re good to go! It lasts me about a week!.

Whewww when i say this stuff is the bombb it had me thinking like as long as i have this i neverrrr need to grow out my low fade. This thang stickssss so darn good. Itll have you thinking like am i sure this isnt crazy glue lol but the moment u put water on it wala magic it lifts with no problem.

It does great on the hair it just gets hard and gooey half way through the bottle and you cant use it anymore

Quality was not as expected esp for price. dries into a nice silicone Luke bond but my bottle was nearly half empty, the plastic was still around the cap but it appeared it had a leak at some point—not on the packing material though—the cap did have dry glue on it xternally though.

Was very stringy—dried white—-not what I thought I was buying AT ALL :(.

This glue works great. And would be good if you do not have long hair. But as for the glue remover let me say OMG that was the worst thing ever it literally had my scalp on fireI was crying I like had to get in to the showers it was so bad.

Idk what is in there but I wouldn’t recommend the glue remover.

Good quality product designed to be used as described on the packaging. Will keep styles in place for 3 days or more. Easy to clean up after use. Best product used so far.

This burned my head an left a really bad rash on my scalp I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone. Also the glue barely sticks. Im very disappointed

I got this for the hold as I am an Elvis Tribute and have to use glue on my wig and sideburns. Other, lesser strength glues reacted with sweat and would feel as though they were losing their stick. I would say this is really for sticking a lace down for a few days rather than a couple of hours, so for me it’s a bit of overkill.

The only thing I would say is that it does tend to “string”, meaning it leaves a string of glue attached to the lace and to the tip of the tube which is a pain.

Very strong, but very hard to remove! Which isnt a bad thing, would recommend selling with a different applicator just so its easier to apply! But overall very good glue.

This product is the bomb, I love it, my edges are snatched I would definitely recommend this, I would live a bigger bottle in the glue .

It is a very good glue, and the hold is super strong, my only complaint is the smell, it has a very strong glue oder and it dosn’t go.

I recently had to stop using my former liquid adhesive after developing a severe allergic reaction to it as diagnosed by a medical dermatologist. I then switched to a medical-grade tape with the same sorrowful results.

After an intense internet search, I found this product. Weary, I only used a few ‘dabs’ to adhere the front part of my lace unit. After a full week of continued use, I realized this adhesive was the one for me – so much so that even with the current Texas heat, I discovered a way to keep the unit in place for a full, 3-day adhesion to include wearing ”my hair’ (wink) in an up-do! I will always use this brand – only ordering from this website which I’ve grown to trust.

A few notes: I have full frontal alopecia – so, as pictured, the unit covers my head completely. Also, there were no filters nor enhanced lighting when the two photos were taken.

I’ve been wearing a wig since I loss my hair in 2015 due to cancer treatment. When I had no bio hair, tape was fine, but tape doesn’t work when the bio hair grows back, so now I use wig glue. This ” glue” goes a long way and stays secured all day as long as you don’t sweat profusely.

I wear a fishnet under the wig, and I just put a few swipes at the top near the forehead of the fishnet and also at the the top near the forehead of the wig so that the wig and the net glue together.

The “glue” has to set for a several minutes, but then it forms a bond that holds tight if you pull down or sideways on the wig. (Of course, if you pulled really hard, the back part of the wig might move around, but it wouldn’t come off your head.

) I can wear it on very windy days without worrying if it will fly off. I even work out at the gym and sweat a little at the forehead, but It still stays tight. Removing is a piece of cake. Just lift the wig straight up.

It comes off like a post-it note would. Great stuff!.

I use this It Stays wig glue for holding my wig in place. Easy to use and easy to remove (just lift up instead of pulling it). But I also use it for other things such as making straps stay put and keeping socks in place when they tend to slide down my ankle while wearing boots while hiking.

After many years Of using various brands, resulting in burning scalp. Burning eyes, fingers full of sticky mess. This ghost bond XL is truly THE one. No scalp irritation, no strong scents. Easy to apply, and gives the user opportunity to reposition before final bonding.

The only difference between the XL and the supreme, is that the supreme has no reflection just in case the wearer of the unit does a lot of camera work with flash. Otherwise identical. Lifting is minimal, bond is perfect but please protect your edges as yes, it will rip at natural hair.

Buy it. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Con- Not worth 1 star at all. Wouldve rated it 0 stars if I could. Came less than half full with leakage. Bought the real one on amazon before and compared. This one was fake. Glue was transparent not milky white.

felt like paper glue. Didnt glue my lace down at all. It made a complete mess of it. Completely a waste of money. Never buying again. Pro- came early.

The first time the glue arrived, it was already dried out. When it finally came I gave it a honest try atleast 3 times, it didn’t work. It didn’t hold my hair down, it turned white and looked like rubber.

I seen other say it worked for them, just not for me.

I’m noticing this product is starting to stick inside of the bottle comes out in a ball instead of a smooth liquid other than that still works
