20 Best Gluten Free Multivitamin (2022 Updated)

These supplements are a perfect size to take easily. There’s an indent across the middle to make it easier to cut/break in half, for a child or if you have trouble with the size. The only reason I took away one star is that the writing is so tiny, that it’s very difficult to follow the curve of the bottle to know how much of each vitamin and mineral is in each serving.

Taking the picture allowed me to not only enlarge the list, but I could draw lines from each ingredient to the number. It’s nice to have a multi-vitamin with so many minerals and vitamins in one.

To cut straight to the point: I swear by these. One capsule outpaces the literal handful of individual vitamins and minerals my doctors have me on. My levels have either improved or remained stable, my quality of life has increased, and Im just generally doing well on these.

As I suffer from frequent malnutritiondeficiencies due to dysautonomia, I dont say any of that lightly. Considering its pedigree, it makes sense: third party testing, methylated vitamins, MTHFR gene mutation-friendly, appropriate dosage, and capsuled with oil to improve absorption of fat soluble vitamins.

it ticks every box I had, and for an incredibly fair price. Youll be hard pressed to find a better multivitamin. Especially if you have illness-related malabsorption or deficiencies, these are worth serious consideration.

Cant promise it will be the right fit, but its more than worth a try. For those hesitant because of negative reviews, read on. Three bottles in, and Ive had zero experiences with fishiness. This is noteworthy, as I have a strong averaion to fish, and I am not aware of any recent reformulation.

I believe the negative reviews regarding seaworthiness is due to these capsules being entirely vegetarian – and that includes the omega 3 oil. Its made from algal oil. For those who arent accustomed to oceanic foods and vegetarian seafood substitutions, its important to note that sea vegetables are intensely briney with a strong minerality.

In fact, part of why large body fish have that fishier taste. Sea/ocean-specific algaes, seaweeds, and kelps have a large presence within their food chains. Just like with land animals, that difference in food source imparts distinctive flavor compounds into them.

Additionally, the mint scent packet within the bottles is impressively fresh. Ive spent a lot of time handwashing fresh spearmint by the pound, and I was convinced they must have added some spearmint oil to the pills themselves.

Its pretty intensely verdant-smelling with that dist.

I just started taking these vitamins a few days ago, so I will update around the three month mark to note the efficacy. This vitamin has everything, nutrient-wise, I was looking for. I’m in recovery from anorexia, and my skin and hair has suffered as a result from years of malnutrition.

I’m 27 and I’ve noticed a sad amount of aging from the severity. All the research points to vitamins A-E being great for hair, skin, and nails so I am hoping I can find some healing through this vitamin regimen.

I also deal with painful breast fibroids and my gynecologist suggested adding a vitamin E supplement for that as well. Lastly, I have bipolar I disorder and the literature suggests that adding more Omega 3 to the diet can be helpful for that.

I’m also on lithium which can make you zinc and selenium-deficient also needed for healthy hair. So there’s a layout of all the issues I’m hoping this vitamin can help with. These vitamins are easy to swallow and the capsule is soft.

However, given my aforementioned conditions, I’m quite versed in swallowing pills. There is a minty scent which I like, but I did notice from other reviews that some people don’t like that. This flavor/smell is noted in the description, heads up.

What ISN’T mentioned in the description is the fishy burps – UGH. From about 15 minutes after I take my vitamin, I’m burping the taste of raw fish for the rest of the morning and into lunch time. It’s not great… but not a dealbreaker given that I get my omega 3 and tons of other vitamins in one capsule.

But if you can’t tolerate mint smell or fish taste, this might not be the supplement for you. Note: i’m not sure why there is a fishy-burp because the label says it’s fish/shellfish-free. Other pros is that this vitamin is third-party tested, vegetarian, free of sugar, dyes, or artificial flavors, and doesn’t contain yeast or other common allergens.

It’s also neat that it contains 100mg of fruit and vegetable blends!It DOES contain rosemary extract. I know it’s no.

I wish I could give these 0 stars. I learned the hard way and ended up with a giant disgusting bottle of gummy vitamins when it’s just so much more effective to take your day to day prenatal vitamins that you swallow! I purchased these prenatal vitamins in hopes that gummy vitamins would be more palatable than normal prenatals.

I was very wrong also It was my own fault for not fully reading the label, but a serving of these vitamins has 10g of sugar! If I’m going to have that much I’m going to enjoy it in some decadent dark chocolate or ice cream, definitely NOT my daily vitamins.

That’s almost 50% of the recommended DV for women (25g) It’s something to consider if you’re not looking to up your sugar intake and not only the high amount of sugar but to be 100% honest these are terrible, I couldn’t eat more than one.

They tasted fishy the flavor would get stuck in your teeth because of the gummy nature and linger. After talking with my OBGYN she actually informed me about the different effects between gummy prenatal vitamins and your regular large pill prenatal, with the gummies your not getting all those vitamins and nutrients you really need, it may say you are on the bottle but when it comes down to it I was definitely going to listen to my doctor and just get a large bottle of the big vitamin pill form prenatal’s.

I currently still take them to this day and my daughter is 16 months. It’s helped my hair stay thick and continue growing and all around just has so many benefits! I have taken Garden of Life multi vitamin products for women for years, but recently purchased this product: vitamin code 50 and wiser. There was an issue with the outside of the number of the capsules where there seemed to be an irregularity/ hard to explain, but almost a wrinkle / unevenness that made me uncomfortable.

I wanted the company to know for obvious reasons and called and explained the situation along with providing them with pictures. I didn’t assume there was any tampering, but I was certainly not going to take them.

Also, I had never seen anything like this before and I’ve been taking vitamins for many years. To try an keep their response brief, they sent me coupons in very small amounts to be used on further purchases basically ensuring I would have to buy many products in the future with a minimal credit.

Since I’ve spent the better part of the last 2 years inside homeschooling and working and there are very few foods that have naturally accuring Vitamin D, a supplement is a good idea and I was so happy to receive these to try.

Who doesn’t need strong and healthy bones? And since studies have shown D3 to reduce the risk of Cancer, show positive effects on the heart, and found D3 linked to reduction of depression, as well as lowering blood sugar and even lower chances of catching a cold, even lowering cholesterol, and to live longer in general, this is one supplement I do/will purchase regularly.

First off, the price is great. The bottle does appear to be half empty but rest assure there are the correct amount of capsules. ( I counted them) The Softgels are super easy to swallow. They are mildly sweet with no aftertaste.

I will definitely be repurchasing this product and recommend it.

When I was pregnant with my first child, I researched and tried several different prenatal multi-vitamins. I ended up sticking with Garden of Life myKind Organics Prenatal Multi because it is one of the only ones I could find with the NATURAL form of folate.

So many prenatal vitamins out there are using folic acid, which is the synthetic form of folate. I see a couple reviewers below are a bit misinformed on this aspect so I would highly encourage everyone to do their own research on this.

The natural form is the easiest for us to absorb and transfer to baby. I’m so sorry to hear this parent has a baby with NTDs, but blaming a prenatal–or worse, yourself–is something I hope they can overcome as there are other factors that play into the unfortunate outcome.

Anyway, I recommend this prenatal to everyone that is looking for a really great quality product. Not only is the folate taken from a natural organic food source but so is every nutrient listed. I never feel nauseous after taking them, they have no taste or smell and are easy to swallow.

I don’t mind the three-pill dosage, I just think of it as baby’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I also love how it comes in a glass bottle (less plastic waste ending up in a landfill).

I love this new food based multivitamin. Easy on the stomach and I feel great taking it. I hope LF brings to market more food based supplements instead of always using only isolated nutrients. I also hope LF brings back Mediterranean Diet food based capsules.

Totally think this vitamin is the best. Dr. Allowed me to take this supplement during chemo. I feel that by taking this supplement while taking chemo allowed me to feel some energy, which helped with a positive attitude.

I am still taking this supplement, and plan on doing so for the rest of my life! I would much rather take a whole food supplement than one that is “chemical” in nature. I have no negitive side effects with this supplement, where as with non whole food supplements, I frequently had digestive and tummy issues.

When I mentioned to a friend how I was really bad at taking my vitamins, she suggested looking for gummi vitamins. And, lo and behold, there IS such a product and this is it! I found that my vitamin consumption is up to about 100% with these vitamins.

Aside from being tasty, they are also easy to grab on the run as I don’t have to take them with water. Plus, I really hate the huge ‘horse pill’ size that most multivitamins come in. Now, I suspect that these don’t actually cover as much of the different vitamins and minerals I’m supposed to be getting as compared to those horse pills, but I looked at what they cover and it seems good enough for me.

I’ve tried both the women’s brand of vitamin from this company and this general brand, and found both to be very good. The tastes are a bit different and I actually slightly prefer the women’s brand, it seems a bit frutier to me, but this one is good too.

I also felt like the vitamin bites were a bit ‘fresher’ when I bought this brand, they seemed very gummy still even after a month or two of taking them, but that might be a factor of the particular batch I got.

Anyway, given that I was worried they’d go quickly stale based on the size of the bottle, what with me only taking two a day, I’m pleased to see that after a couple of months they still seem just as fresh.

You have to be really careful when you buy vitamins because I remember not long ago I bought CVS vitamins and on the front of the bottle it looked like they were vegan but when you turned the bottle around and read the ingredients on the back, they actually had pig in them! I’ve been taking this multivitamin for years. This one provides the most complete combination of vitamins and minerals for a mature woman that I’ve found and which is a reasonable cost. This did not work very well for me personally. There are very few vitamins that do not make me nauseous and get awful feeling and unfortunately this one did. I wanted to try one with iron even though I have read the this is what make most people not tolerate vitamins very well I had never tried one with iron however and have some health issues in trying to help so I figured I’d try it.

The pills don’t taste bad and are easy to swallow. You get a bunch in the bottle and only take one a day. Thankfully this was part of a buy one get one free del so I didn’t actually pay for it. By all accounts it looks like a decent multivitamin by a good brand it’s just not for me.

These multi are really the best! You can’t beat the price and quality. I used to be an avid MyKind Organics Multivitamin user, but they honestly upset my stomach (I suffer from Crohn’s and IBS) and they would give me insane boosts of energy that would leave me coming down hard.
