20 Best Glycerin Soap Brands (2022 Updated)

I love the scent and I really like how it cleans. I don’t care that it doesn’t have the extra sudsing agents. It seems to help keep skin softer than the tallow/lye/sls formulas and the scent stays longer but not overwhelming.

I bought this on whim at my local supermarket because I have become so frustrated supporting plastic production with all of my body-wash bottles, I have decided to return to my childhood use of bar soaps.

But, I am not the biggest fan of using animal products unnecessarily either since reducing my own beef and pork consumption considerably. Finally I saw a vegetable soap that didn’t have tons of palm oil – glycerine soap is the way to go.

For some reason, manufacturers are shying away from gycerine bar soaps. They can be quite ecologically sustainable.

I have tried other glycerin soaps but I really love this brand because of its quality, more natural ingredients and how soft it leaves my hands. I wash my hands very often and it’s gentle enough that it doesn’t dry my skin or cause any irritations.

I use to buy it at Whole Foods market until they stopped carrying it as they replaced it with their own brand. In my opinion, Clearly Natural is a better choice. I was so happy to be able to buy it on the Vitacost website.

I will continue to buy it and recommend this product!.

I have been using this product for over 25 years and never had any issues, until now. The packaging is different and that is not an issue, but the formula appears to be altered. The soap as it is being used, gets real slimy and difficult to handle.

After bathing, I notice my skin feeling super tight, dry, and within an hour, itchy. This has never occurred with other scents, currently using French Lavender. Also, really can’t smell the lavender.

The variety of scents is one of the pleasures of this soap. So, I am disappointed in the decrease of choice – both at stores and online. I miss the Lilac, Jasmine, and almond. Good to see that the Lemon, Cucumber, Honeysuckle, and even the Berry, are still available.

Was there ever a Coconut or Vanilla? I prefer to avoid Amazon. I will continue to keep my eyes peeled for this product at my favorite local stores, and online sources. For now I do enjoy my Unscented Clearly Natural Glycerine Soap.

I have been using Clearly Natural Glycerine soaps for years. I love that they are non-comedogenic, come in many varieties both scented and fragrance-free, and are economical to boot. My only complaint is I can no longer find them except online.

I’d like to continue giving local stores my business, so please advise. I’m in New York City but also shop in update NY and New Jersey.

I bought this product recently and am so unsatisfied. I regularly use tea tree EO when making my own shampoo and handwashing soap. I haven’t tried to master solid soap yet, so I continue to purchase it.

This soap leaves a residue on my skin and does not smell like any tea tree I’ve ever used. To me, it doesn’t even smell medicinal – it actually smells strongly of lime, so much so that I’m not entirely convinced this wasn’t packaged / labeled incorrectly.

Knowing I wouldn’t be going to the store any time soon, I ordered 3 bars for my household and I regret that, but I don’t want to waste them, nor do I want to go through the hassle of a return. I’ll use the one we’ve already opened and pass along the other bars to friends that might enjoy it, though I don’t even really feel good about passing them along.

I won’t be ordering again.

I have been using this soap for more than 10 years and absolutely love it. However, as others have said, it is waayyy too difficult to open! I understand the problem with sweating, leaking, etc. , but what about a pull string? I sent that suggestion to your team years ago, but nothing was changed.

Can you investigate a pull string or a pull tab to make it easier to open? If there was a way to open this easier, I would definitely rate this 5 stars. Thanks for listening.

Pears makes a really good soap. I first heard about this on a couple of makeup tutorial videos on youtube where they were using this soap as a way to direct eye brow hairs to hold in place throughout the day.

You use an eye brow brush and gently wet the soap where you apply this in your brows. That works like a charm. This soap has a distinct smell which you notice more when you first begin using the soap.

As your bar is used, the smell gradually disappears where it is much less noticeable. I have just had eye surgery – and certain chemical and perfume smells make my eyes extremely sensitive. This product was much stronger at the beginning of usage – and as I have used the bar, the scent is gradually diminishing.

This is now working much better. The scent is hardly noticeable.

I’m using since my childhood. In a word I would say I’m addicted to it. Pears is a transparent see through Glycerine soap. Having a bath with Pears Glycerine soap will relax the senses, gives a feel of refreshing bath experience and makes your skin soft and supple.

It doesn’t cause any clogged pores or blackheads, and gives you healthy skin. lather forming is so rich. It Prevents Dryness, Helps to Retain the skin’s moisture and prevents the skin cracks and blemishes.

This soap is transparent and is enriched with glycerin and natural oils with mild and refreshing fragrance. Though it’s a useful soap for both oily and dry skin tones, but in my opinion it’s a best product preferably for dry skin tone.

We’ve been buying this soap for years, but as others have stated the newer shrink wrap is a PITA to open. We are also disappointed that the Cucumber scent is no longer available. One issue we’ve always had is the inconsistent “soapiness”.

A new bar will start out producing nice froth, but as it is used it acts like a piece of plastic with no froth. Sometimes that progression is reversed.

Okay so i first bought these to achieve the “feathered brow” look. Theyre clear and dont leave white residue or chunks, and they were the cheapest ones at walmart. I gotta admit, this did a good job of keeping my brows in place, BUT it only lasted on my brows until my face got hot.

Then it started to melt and i got soapy eyebrows 😂 this obviously isnt what they were made for, so i finished them off in the shower. I was worried they would suck since they were so cheap, but i was pleasantly surprised.

They dont reallt leave soap scum or any weird feeling left on my body like most cheap soaps do. My boyfriend hates the smell of them but i love it – they smell sort of strong like eucalyptus, but the scent doesnt stay on my skin.

Theyre very moisturizing though. And the only other complaint i have is the same one i have with any bar soap. Theyre slippery and hard to store in the shower.

I haven’t used bar soap for years but I ordered this soap for much cheaper than my usual liquid body wash. It lathers well and looks like it will last a long time. I didn’t read the label well before ordering so I was a bit disappointed to see “certified food colors” on the ingredients list, which I assume means food dyes.

I recently started buying my health and skin care supplies at PipingRock. Most of the time they are good quality product at a bargain price. I order Lavender, sandalwood and aloevera to try. All of them last long, lather well and smell great.

This one smell like jasmine. I hope they are scented with Jasmine essential oil and not fragrance oils. I have just posted an inquiry about that.

This soap has done so much good for me. I use it every single day to cleanse my face. In the first month of usage, I noticed my rashes to slowly fade away! This soap is so soothing! I feel like it helped my sensitive skin a lot!.

Love the lather this bar produces and love that there is no scent as many perfumes trigger allergies. I would like it a bit smaller in size though as it slips out of my hands easily. I have thought of cutting it in half.

Will buy again!.

Wanted to reduce plastic packaging so thought I’d give the bar soap a whirl. So glad I did! It lathers well, is gentle and leaves my skin soft with no chemical scent. No build up in my shower either.

I bought this soap because I wanted something that did not have scent which this soap deliver well. Unfortunately, the soap swells even when not sitting in water (it bloats just by using it to wash my hands frequently).

I contacted the company and they confirmed that it is a known problem and to keep the soap on its side would easy the problem.

Very nice variety of soap fragrances! Should last my wife and me at least a year and a half. Of course with all the pandemic hand washing, maybe not as long as usual.

The soap lasts a long time and the fragrance is heavenly, After a week and a half, the soap is still in the dish! This is with daily use! I just wish that you all had senior discounts for the folks on SSI and or disability.

It was my mom who had turned me on to glycerin soap. Now thanks to all of you @ Piping Rock it’s the variety of glycerin soaps you offer to the consumer. Lavender being one of both myself & my gf. If I had a request it would bring this particular soap back in your outlet stores.

Lovely fragrance which lasts to the end of use. Makes your skin feel very smooth and moist. Leaves no residue in wash basin. 1 bar used every day lasted a month.

This soap smells so great. It’s just not because it’s lavender, but there is something in it that makes it smells divine. Among many PR glycerin soaps that I have tried, this and also a sandalwood one are the best.

I love the scent of lavender. This soap does not have an overpowering scent, so it is perfect for me. Great price too!!

This soap makes my skin feel nice. After washing with it your skin is so nice and soft. I am almost afraid to say how nice it is for fear of the price going up or availability disappearing.

I’ve been using this soap for a few days now and it has already replaced my prior one. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed and even adds a glow to it, noticed a bump on my cheek almost diminish over night.

needless to say I will be purchasing more of this brand of Black Seed Oil soap from here again.

It does help to heal sensitive skin and unscented. It doesn’t dry skin and no irritating at all.

I feel in love with this scent many years ago and I have to keep me stocked up in it. The glycerin soap is so luxurious and doesn’t leave you with that sticky feel as some do. The fragrance is so light, fresh and clean smelling with the light floral hints.

I try to stay stocked up on the soap, lotion, talc and perfume.

This is the soap scent I waited the longest to try and is now my favorite (so far; I haven’t tried them all yet!). I should have known. I have come to expect subtlety from Camille Beckman but I always worry about overwhelmingly sweet florals.

I had first purchased the Gardenia so I decided, if they can make a gardenia scent that is not cloying, maybe I should try Camille. NOT disappointed. I need more of this. I’m not sure why our local craftsmen make only the milk and olive oil based soaps, yet none seem to make a glycerin soap.

I find the glycerin products really, really nice for dry skin.

Soap is a beautiful aqua color, smells great and is exactly what I wanted to finish my bathroom update. I had a hard time finding the right color soap anywhere until I looked on Etsy and found this! I am happy.

Just ordered this product not too long ago. I saw the word glycerin and got excited. It is very soothing to the skin. It also has a great smell that is not too strong, which I have experienced in the past with other soaps.

This a great soap. It smells great and keeps your skin from getting too dry. I put it in my guest bathroom and get any compliment. It’s a must buy.
