This 2nd burn is in front of 1st burn & overlapping the center also called a figure 8 burn. Use a wire brush to clean off material on the iron between burns as needed. We’ve seen some other burn jobs that didn’t do enough the 1st time that had to be redone a few months later, but with this method does the job the 1st TIME = less stress both on YOU and the KID! Don’t blame the tool if you get scurs blame yourself for the lack of depth to kill off the horn buds.

Older dehorning or larger tools do burn hotter and deeper than x30, so be sure to count to that 10 one thousand to get the job done RIGHT the 1st time.

Product is excellent and works great for our ranch. However, it wears out for us in two weeks. The tip is not replaceable. causing a huge issue. Manufacture needs to make this dehorner tip replaceable and our company would rate it 150% satisfactory.

Warranty has been great but we would just rather have tips available for replacement.

After some research, I bought this dehorner. It came highly recommended by many people, and at a great price. Overall I am pleased with it’s performance. It heats up quickly and very hot and takes the horn buds off with ease.

It also has a metal stand (not all models do) which is very helpful to keep from burning anything I set it on. I bought the pygmy goat sized tip for my Nigerian Dwarf goats, and it was just the right size.

The tip is not removable, however, like the larger (and more expensive) models, so it is only good for baby miniature-sized goats, which is what I was interested in. I appears to be a durable piece of equipment that will work for many years to come.

I have bought two of these sheets for two different sheep and both had the same problems: they both got a hind foot caught in the belly strap; the sheet should have leg straps instead of a belly strap; the sheet since there are no leg straps, slides from side to side; the neck hole is too tight.

On the good side, the shoulder pleats are an excellent design, for the first time, the sheep can move around unrestricted. The coverage from neck though the shoulders will allow me to keep more fleece when I skirt after shearing.

We purchased one of these blankets to test last year in contrast to the traditional Weaver blankets. Our fairs can be very hot, causing the sheep to be uncomfortable in the other blankets. These blankets seem more comfortable, look sharp, and also have a softer drape, which makes it easier to put it on a lamb without frightening it.

A little dust can get through the mesh but on the whole they’re effective in keeping a sheep clean for a show, and since they’re cooler, they can stay on longer.

If you show sheep then you know bathing them is a full time job. We use ProCool to keep our sheep clean at the fair and the breathable material works as our fairs are in August and September. Easy to wash by power washing them or you could probably throw them in on the gentle wash cycle pending you like the smell.

Heavy duty and will last for years.

Western WA Tractor Supply locations do not carry goat minerals in the store however they do sell them online. As readers will know goats critically need copper and selenium in their diet and goats should have these added minerals.

I searched numerous suppliers of goat minerals but TS came out the best and ordering was easy with a simple in-store pickup. might be worth TS putting it in WA locations to see if there will be an in-store demand for the product.

We have been buying this for our goats since the start. The color/blend does seem to vary in each batch. But that doesn’t seem to effect the goats use. No complaints.

I purchased these to use for our kidding pens for the does with kids to eat grain from. Every singe one is broken. They either split down the middle between the two feed compartments or across the back.

The material and construction is not fit for livestock. The product that I purchased one year previous was a night and day difference to these. The material was much heavier and thicker. These are thin and brittle.

Most of them break at the holes where the clips are within a day or two. Very disappointing!.

the tape is just about like plain paper strength and the metal clip on one end of tape came off while using the first and last time

We had some trouble decided what size to get for our garage, but ended up deciding on the 36″x36″ which was on the large end of what we were thinking would work. Turned out to be perfect. It’s very solid construction and we’re hoping the vinyl and copper top last many years.

It’s pretty heavy, but two people can lift the bottom part up on the roof, then I was able to remove and replace the top by myself later when I installed the weather vane. The copper is starting to oxidize so it’s not quite as bright and shiny.

but it’s looking great.

A beautiful replacement for old cupola. Need at least a little over intermediate skill to install or hire it done. Cutting proper pitch and installing shingles can be challenging. Assembly directions very good, except how to cut proper pitch.

I read where B-12 is an important supplement for goats that have been stressed or down in health. My goat had a bad case of worms and was very sick. It was recommended that I give a dose of B-12 to my goat daily for several days after I dewormed her to get her health and weight back to where it was originally.

I’m very happy with the way she is acting and feeling again!.

Fortunately this product is highly palatable so that we can just drizzle it over the goat chow…easy breezy!

This has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions. I always keep 1 in stock. Kidding, if babies are born having problems, just a squirt or 2 in their mouth while towel drying them, stimulating them and they will wake up within seconds!! I even have used this on 1 of my mommas after a hard delivery, 1 of my bucks that was sick, and they were on their feet within minutes.

I used this for spring lambs as an extra boost. Half my flock would eat it with grain and lick the bowl, the other half had to be pryed open and squirted on their tongue. Convenient dosing bottle. Much cheaper here than local feedstore.

I was expecting magical results in a few lambs with diarrhea, hitting them with wormer and ordering probiotics next.

Major necessity when raising goats! First thing to administer to a new baby to prevent scours and when you have an adult that needs a little assistance with bowels issues as well!

Good quality at a reasonable price. We have a herd of 50 dairy n meat goats. They all look excellent and rarely have health problems. We shocked at the health n strength of the kids born to does on Nutreana Feed.

I love this brand! It is the only thing that all my animals agree on, chicken feed, dog food, cats and ducks are all on this brand of feed, even my quail.

Although this netting is for sheep, I purchased it to keep my chickens in and predators OUT! Since my flock is full grown Rhode Island Reds, they are too big to fit comfortably through the net. One did try and there was much squawking and wing flapping of which the rest of the chickens took note and haven’t tried to test it.

Installation was EASY! The posts are sturdy and the netting is strong and easy to work with. Just follow the instructions and take your time. I wish I’d known about this product long ago as I’ve battled with electric wire fences, T posts and welded wire fencing for years.

Now I’ve torn down all the old fencing and replaced it with the electric netting and how nice it looks! I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with this purchase and should I need more fencing, I won’t hesitate to get more.

I use this fence to divide my pastures for sheep. I do have many years of horse experience and maybe this fence would be fine for horses, too. It can be electrified. Horses should be properly introduced to it, but if they don’t respect it they may get a hoof through the lower squares and cause some major entanglement.

The sheep don’t bother with it and I don’t even electrify it most of the time. Lambs, though, will need to be introduced by putting up one section at a time. The fence is well made and easy to install and remove.

Package comes with guy stakes and lines, ties for securing beginning and end, and to keep the fence rolled up when in storage. Also comes with repair parts.

Installation is fast! I had my fence up and my sheep grazing new pasture in minutes! I linked 4 fence sections together to make one large pasture, then I linked another 4 together for a second pasture.

I use the Parmac solar fencer, installed between the two pastures and I just hook up whichever one I’m using when I rotate the stock. So far, in one month, I have had no escapes, no intruding dogs or coyotes, and the fence is going strong!I even had a runaway tractor drive through a section of fence one day, and it was easily repaired with the extra netting supplied with the fence.

I have been buying this product for years for our pet llamas. The bag I bought a couple days ago had rotten grain and old dusty grain. The bag I bought weeks ago also was dry and dusty. When I stopped by the store to get a refund and some other type of grain, as I no longer trust this brand, I was told I would have to put it back in the bag and bring it so TS could see it and send to home office.

I had the empty bag with me and a clump or two of the rotten grain, which I showed to the manager. To follow this procedure was not worth my additional effort.

How can you say optimal nutrition for anything in describing this product? Since too much copper is toxic to sheep, there is no added copper in this product. Copper is VITAL for goats, cattle, and horses.

8% protein is too low to keep most any animal healthy. that is why Goat and Sheep feeds are typically 16% or higher. Horses need somewhere around 10-12% protein in their diets. Growing cows need 14%.

This is just an overpriced sweet feed that they eat because it is covered in molasses.

great feed guys ! excellent natural feed. My performance horses are fed this including my barrel racing horse , gaited horses, and helps maintain the ones that are easy keepers yet also help put weight on and benifit my hard keepers.

i also feed the producers pride 12 percent sweet feed to our seniors and has worked excellent. Recently rescued an appendix quarter horse geilding he had been on this for about a month along with a purina weight and muscle gain supplement and his coat is no longer dull his shoulders and top line are starting to fill out.

You cant beat this product excellent price excellent quality i havent had one problem with horses not liking it or getting a bad bag or it making horses hot.

All 4 of our pigs made weight for fair & one of them was in the final drive for grand champ. We don’t use any supplements. It was all from this feed! One of the pigs was a back up pig & was a month younger than the others.

He barely squeaked over the minimum wieght, but considering how far he came, it was really impressive. The past few years we have used a variety of different feeds trying to find a happy medium between cost & results.

We are very happy with this feed & will absolutely be using it again next year.

The pigs went wild for this feed this year, smells great when you open the bag – like vanilla and milk replacer. Pigs are doing well with it, had great luck with previous versions of the Nutrena show feeds and will keep feeding our show pigs this quality feed.

Very economical.

Pigs gained less than a pound a day while eating over 6 pounds a day. My kids 4 h pigs will not be going to the fair this year. They bought nice show pigs this year from 2 different breeders and neither pig did make weight and not even close.
