20 Best Goggles For Adults (2022 Updated)

✨Overall Impression✨ I’ve tried several other types of swimming goggles in the past, and they have all been bulky, fragile, and have leaked easily. I prefer Speedo Vanquishers because they do not have those above downfalls – they are sleek, relatively durable, and won’t leak if fastened correctly.

I’ve been a competitive swimmer for over 10 years and these are the goggles that all competitive swimmers use. The mirrored option is for swimming outdoors to block the sun. The issue with these is that they scratch easier, so definitely be cautious with them.

Have used for three pool lap swims so far. Really like the fit/feel around the eye. It’s softer than most. Still working on how to snug them best. Tend to get a little (very little) during pushes off the wall.

Suspect user error. Can’t speak to durability yet.

I have been buying these goggles for as long as I can remember. many years! They are the only goggles that I have found which fit my face well. I love them! I swim laps about 5 days per week. The goggles seem to need replacing about once per year, because they start leaking.

That may be because I like to take them on and off while I swim. I like to look at the beautiful trees, flowers, birds and sky when I do the backstroke. So, everytime I switch to backstroke, they come off, and every time I go back on my stomch, I put them back on :).

Purchased at the beginning of this last season, & used them throughout the summer adventure/wilderness swimming. The seals stick to my face better than any other googles I’ve used previously, the anti-fog is holding up, & they are very comfortable for extended periods of time & at moderate depth.

I’ll purchase them again as needed.

hard on the eyes, awkwardly adjustable, small lenses for 5 years. The material is of good quality, but it is inconvenient to use. There are dark marks around the eyes after swimming. if you make the elastic band even weaker, then the points will already fall.

In the store in the box it is not clear which regulator is behind. It is uncomfortable to adjust on the sides and the elastic bands are too thin. These impractical glasses are overpriced. Although the quality of the materials and the company is good.

But I wouldn’t buy another one like this. I had to buy others. Money wasted.

I recently got these Adult Hydrofusion swim goggles. Right off the bat, I loved the color and design of these goggles. The design is very neat and they look really nice. They do a really good job blocking water to go in side.

The sealing is really well designed. I have been using them for a while now. And I have not seen them developing the fog on the inside which really made me impressed. The strap is adjustable and the length can be easily changed.

These goggles cover lot of area around my eyes which is helping me alot to see through the water clearly and swim safely during my outdoor swim sessions. I got the light blueish one and the color is very neutral so my wife also got a chance to use them and she also liked them very much and ordered one for herself.

Finally, I do not have any complaints. Loving it so far and I am impressed with these goggles. And Yes, I would recommend these goggles to my friends, family and colleagues.

I absolutely love my Speedo Hydrofusion Adult Goggles! I own a pool so my family and I spend a bunch of time in it so having a high quality pair of goggles is a necessity! They fit perfectly and comfortably when swimming laps.

They do not fog up which allows me to finish my laps faster! The material is so sturdy and allows for a much more productive swim! They also keep my eyes protected from UVA and UVB ray’s which is getting more and more needed as I get a little older! I’ve also used these awesome goggles on our weekend trips to the lake and they’ve worked great there also! I’ve had so many friends and family members compliment me on them.

I’m proud to say that I have been using Speedo products for my entire life and have always had the best experiences with everything I’ve used. The quality is always unbeatable!.

Goggles are good quality but disappointed that the strap pin on one side constantly comes off and the strap loosens whilst wearing these goggles in the water making them leak. For the brand and high price probably not worth it.

After trying several different swim masks, I was never satisfied with any of them. They either leaked, were difficult to adjust. It has been, so far, quite wonderful!

I have googles from that company for the first time. I like them, finally I could fit nose for my small adult size but as a new ones why they get foggy so much and in second use. I swim one lane and they got foggy so I can not see at all.

It has never happend with any new ones before.

My son needed these in a hurry as his regular goggles had broken. These were in the middle price range, but he is very happy with them. He swims for his high school team and does travel swim, so good goggles are a necessity.

Def recommend these.

I am 70, (40 years a lifeguard), and these are the best swim goggles I’ve ever had. First, the soft bridge doesn’t chew on the bridge of my nose, as all the hard ones do. Second, I really like that the fit can be so easily adjusted (tighter or looser) with barely a stop at a lane end, and that the seal around the eyes is good.

Third, the price is far less than the much larger masks I’ve been wearing lately. The only drawback is that the fog-prevention isn’t as good as glass would be, so I keep a few drops of water in each eyepiece to keep rinsing them as I swim.

Finally, I’m currently training for the world masters’ water polo championships in South Korea in August. Is there any chance of even a partial sponsorship?.

Our boys really wanted to like these goggles. but the straps loosened after only 30 seconds letting the lenses fill with water. They were so disappointed, as was I. The fit was good. The lenses comfortable.

The straps made them useless.

My kids loves the goggles. My son said he can swim more fast because the goggles show very clean view in the water and doesnt foggy. My daughter said the goggles fit perfectly in her face, and comfortable even wear it more than hours.

These goggles were purchased for my 5 and 7 year old for their swim class. We seem to go through a lot of pairs because the rubber that goes around the head breaks, the seal around the eyes come loose leak or the goggles are just a bad fit.

Since we go through goggles so quickly, I try not to spend more than ten bucks on a pair, but I try to buy what I think are “good ones” (ie. Speedos). Anyhow, these were in my pricerange and some friends had purchased them for their kids and loved them.

They’re technically made for adults, but they fit well on my kids (who have 90-95th percentile head measurements for their respective age groups). The fit looks rather large on them, but they still work very well – they stay on snug and don’t let water in.

My son says he loves them, the other goggles get foggy after being in the water for awhile (class is only 25 min) but he had no problem with these. I’ve tried them on and the suction is pretty good on these – you can’t really tell that it’s suctioned on that well until it’s time to take it off (then you feel the release of the pressure).

My only concern is the closure in the back is made of clear, hard, plastic – and I’m expecting it to crack or snap from repeated use, so I told my kids DO NOT TAKE THEM OFF during class! But for the pricepoint, I’m going to buy another set to keep with our swim toys for “fun” pool use and a backup in case the originals break.

Fit too small. No adjustments. Had a pair of boomerang gradients from 2017 that were o. k. , but the lenses were getting cloudy from i guess pool chemicals. Bought these towards end of summer 2021. Always had to set head strap really tight.

Used this year 1st time, leak badly. Went and mesured. They skimped 5mm here, 5mm there, and these things are useless for an adult. If these don’t fit you right away, take them back. Too late for me to rerturn.

My son complained that these goggles leak. I bought the JUNIOR size (ages 8-14) because he is in the age range and his head is large. Big mistake. These goggles fit me. I sized down to the KID size and they fit with room to spare and do not leak.

My guess is that the size of their eyes is more important than the circumference of their head. I recommend sizing down if you don’t want to deal with leaking.

These goggles are a game changer. I had tried two other pairs which leaked before being recommended these. I train both in the pool and open water with these goggles. Best purchase I have made. No leaking and comfortable to wear with no big goggles circles left when I’m finished.

I bought these after trying out a pair that my mother-in-law had as my existing pair seemed to leak pretty frequently and I was getting very bad pressure marks under my eyes from tightening them in an attempt to stop them leaking.

The Aqua Sphere Mako goggles are really comfortable and have not leaked once. I can actually enjoy a swim without stopping to empty them out and they hardly leave any pressure marks. The only down side is that they don’t look very stylish however this is a small price to pay when everything else is so good about them.

They also cost about half as much as my previous pair.

My daughter has a very narrow face, and we’ve struggled for years to find a pair of goggles that fit well. Well, we finally found them! These goggles fit snuggly, keep the water out completely, and do not fog up.

The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust. They’re absolutely perfect for her daily swim practices, as well as her competitive swim meets. We will definitely buy these again in the future!.

I’ve been using swimming goggles for about 30 years now. I work as a lifeguard and often try out many different brands. Aqua Sphere products are all great quality and excellent value for money. I’ve owned about 5 pairs of these in the last few years.

They lose their seal after about two years which is normal. Just buy another pair. My goggles usually go “missing” before the seal runs out. At the moment I’ve got two pairs.

I ordered two pairs, one corrective lens and one regular. I was going to combine one lens from each pair of goggles. But the corrective lens pair did not have foam rubber gaskets, which I was told they did when I ordered (via phone).

When I called about a return, I was treated more with contempt than anything else, and I was essentially accused of lying — the return person said whoever I talked to when I placed the order could not have told me the corrective lens goggles had foam rubber gaskets.

The return person very reluctantly agreed to email me a return label — “this is the last time. ” So now, I’d really appreciate the $10 discount to apply to a longer nose strap, if you have this separate parts, for my regular lense goggles which do have form rubber gaskets.

As a long distance lane swimmer for years, these are the first goggles that have dug into the bridge of my nose and hurt while I swim. I have tried adjusting them without success. I have worn other TYR goggles in the past (my favorite).

These hurt so much, I can not wear them.

It is very small, almost like for children. The adjusted band is too short, so even I adjust it the tail end of the elastic band comes off the buckle. Useless!

It sounds weird, but I actually bought this just to use when cutting onions. And let me tell you, it works GREAT. They conform to my face well without causing discomfort. I’m autistic and therefore am very sensitive to certain stimuli, but I actually almost can’t even feel them most of the time.

Other goggles feel constrictive and make me very anxious, but these didn’t do that to me. I’m definitely a happy camper over here (:

I purchased a pair of these goggles a few years ago and found that after continuous wear in the pool, the straps would start to break down from the chlorine. I thought maybe they were a bum pair, so I tried another pair.

These pair are worse off than the first I had purchased. The eye part suctions really hard to the face making it nearly impossible to pull off. Once you do pull it off and re position, it refuses to get a good suction again so while swimming, water leaks in from the sides.

During a one-hour swim practice last night, I had to take off and re position at least 20 times. I would most likely buy a clear pair next time as well.

I own a 30-YEAR-old truck that strangers say looks brand new. Yet, after only ninety days in storage (I never used them) – these CLEAR goggles turned a nasty-looking yellow color. Never buy clear goggles.

Then, Walmart would not refund my money when I was only a few weeks over the 90-day warranty period. (J. Eric Fisk).

I’ve had several pairs of goggles in the search for the best pair for me. Had all sorts of issues – uncomfortable, fog (despite all the typical tricks), leaking, too dark, too light, ugly. I’d looked at a few different goggles but based on website reviews I went for the MP.

Packaging Being a premium model, I’d have expected the packing to be premium, but it’s no better than a pair of £6 Slazenger googles from a certain well known high street discount shop. Shame – these could do with better packing but not a showstopper at all.

Case The packing is also the case which is unfortunate. It’s a very cheap, flimsy case that just about stays together enough to protect the googles. A proper sunglasses style hard case might be better.

Goggles Awesome. Premium feeling product, well made, great to look at. The nose bridges make it possible to customise the fit and the headstrap is easy to adjust (although a little bit of a fiddle to put on sometimes).

These did feel a little odd when I first put them on, but once in the water I forgot they were on. They have the right amount of tint to use indoors and outdoors – rather than being either too dark for inside or too light for out – I use them in my indoor pool training and they will be coming to Spain also.

These goggles resist fogging better than most, but I always try and put them on dry, avoid touching the inside of the lens and also rinse them with fresh water after a swim. There’s nothing bad to say about the actual goggles, just the packaging and case let them down a little bit.

My son took out this brand new goggle yesterday and wore it for swim practice. Today after practice, he came out of the pool and showed me the strap being split in 3 different places! I don’t know if somehow where the you pull through the strap is cutting into the strap or what.

This should not happen to a pair of goggle that cost over $20 and has MP logo on it. Disappointed.

I bought these goggles a month ago and used them for lake swimming and for a half ironman race. They are the best goggles I’ve had so far. View is clear, the fit is perfect and they look great. I strongly recommend them.

My brother and I both bought these. My brother’s broke the first time he used it. So we returned his. I decided to keep mine and give it a chance. The goggles tend to fog up (you can’t swim one lap without them fogging up).

The goggle lenses are also very dark, so it’s better to use them outside in daylight. The style is nice, but practicality wise, they’re awful.

They were on sale (probably from last season left overs), so got major discount, although still more than I’d pay for swim goggles. However they have proved themselves worthy, great for my teen and hubby to share.

Would buy another pair for sure if on sale!.

Bought these for my 16yr old son. He used them about 3 times and mid swim lap they fell apart. Luckily the “bit” that dislodged was found but would have thought these goggles would have lasted a bit longer.

Good mid-range goggles. Look, they’re not amazing. We all know that good tech comes with heavy price, BUT if you are looking for a goggle that will last you a long time, fit your face shape and do it’s job? this is the one.

Does it fog after. 30min? yep. but so so slightly. It’s not a bother. I’ll say this: it’s worth paying a bit more for these if you want to justify not buying the cheapest ones.

Very finicky for a pair of goggles. You have to be super careful with the lenses , you can’t touch the inside. The information slip inside the case tells you this and says not to dive in them but who reads that for goggles.

We just took them out and wore them as you would do. We now have scratched insides where swimmer has put their finger in to wipe the lens and the goggles do not stay on when diving in. Swimmers trains and competes so has to where old goggles for races as the new ones come off.

Defeats the purpose of new goggles ! They are goggles, they shouldn’t be so complicated.
