20 Best Goggles For Nurses (2022 Updated)

Starting with when I first made the order (June 2021), Stoggles demonstrated excellent customer service. At the time, I believed that the shipping policy was unclear and I was unfairly charged, so they offered a partial refund, which was much appreciated.

Upon receiving the Stoggles, I was very pleased by how they were packaged in such a way so as to minimize unnecessary packaging at the same time as being sufficient enough to protect the product during shipping.

When I first put on my Stoggles, I was extremely excited and satisfied – the colour and style were perfect. They fit pretty well, though sometimes slide down my nose, which can be a nuisance when you are providing patient care and shouldn’t touch your face to readjust.

I would appreciate it if the sizing instructions on the website were a bit clearer. I would like to be able to sanitize the goggles at the end of my shift, but avoid doing so out of fear that a harsh product such as Clorox wipes would ruin them.

As such, I only use soap and water. Even still, it seemed like the anti-fog feature deteriorated quickly after buying them. Also, one lens now has a mark which partially obstructs my vision and which I would be inclined to try to wipe off with an alcohol wipe.

But once again, I’m scared that attempting to clean the lens might ruin the protective barrier. However, part of me thinks the mark is actually damage from having liquid from a Clorox wipe (used to clean my stethoscope etc.

) splash on them and remove the protective barrier. Based on all of these issues, I think it would be highly beneficial if Stoggles provided information on product care and maintenance (e. g. Dos and Don’ts).

Lastly, the lenses are fairly scratched now, which compromises clarity. I transport them in the fabric case they came in, but think a hard case would be better. They might also be scratched from occasionally falling off my head and onto the floor, which makes me think it would be a good idea to invest in the head straps.

Overall, I would recommend this product. Unfortunately, I recently had my backpack stolen with all my nursing equipment, including the Stoggles. I will now be ordering another pair, likely with a hard case and head straps.

I ordered these to mitigate blue light seeing as I am always on the phone or computer and to protect my eyes from everyday travel whether it be from the sun or someone’s lingering cough. I just received mine today, the case is sturdy, heavy, and folds flat to easily put away when not in use but then folds back up for storage.

The bag that takes the place of a lense cloth works really well and is also convenient. I was scared the glasses were going to be too big but they fit just fine and I fell in love with the color I picked out (smoke).

The one thing that is already occurring on the first day is the occasional need to wipe the lenses once in a while (something as simple as my lashes touching it when I push it up my nose). I tested to see whether it’ll fog up with a mask on (only two deep breaths), thankfully it does not but I’ve recently seen a vague outline on the inner corner of one my lenses (hours later) shaped perfectly as the inner corner itself and while it easily wipes off, it comes right back with something as simple as me blowing my nose.

It’s not something I would expect to happen from these brand new glasses upon first use especially as I am home and am not wearing a mask while I have it on. I do advice for people to purchase the fog drops just in case one of your lenses weren’t “fogged proofed” enough.

At least that’s what I’m guessing is the mishap with mine. I’m planning on doing so to help mitigate it. If there is a reason this is occurring, I would like to know. Other than that, these are cute, clean looking, and comfortable.

When the lense are wiped, they are perfectly clear and shiny (might experience very minor glares of light). Im not so sure about the UV blocking though.

I bought a pair of stoggles in September of 2021 after being increasingly frustrated at being required to wear goggles over my own glasses at work. Or my dry eyes wearing contacts and a pair of goggles that would often fog up quickly while wearing a mask and other PPE.

A few of my coworkers had bought stoggles a few months earlier and raved about them. I finally bought a pair with prescription lenses and it has been life changing. I now wear my stoggles for every 12 hour shift, 3-4x a week.

They don’t fog up, or if they do it’s only after being in a room with full PPE for hours, and even then it’s minimal. Theyre very comfortable too. Initially they were slightly tight on my face, but after a few wears I got used to them.

I’ve never had plastic frames before so it was just something different. I wear them for up to 15 hours and hardly notice them. They’re easy to clean and store right in my locker. They haven’t scratched even after I’ve bumped them off of things at work.

The quality seems pretty great. The frames on mine did break and I’m not sure how, but I reached out to Stoggles, they had me send my lenses in and replaced the frames under warranty. It was so easy and I got them back in less than a week! I only had to work two shifts without them, and those two shifts were awful! I will definitely be purchasing more and continue to support Stoggles.

They’re now part of my work uniform and I feel protected from all kinds of things. I can’t tell you how many times urine, blood, or sputum would have come close to hitting my eyes had I not worn my Stoggles.

I work on an ICU as an RN and no matter what situation I’m in; from a code, to a covid patient coughing away, to a combative patient throwing their full urinal at me, I feel protected and stylish 🙂 I recommend them to anyone I can and a few of my newer coworkers even bought some! If you were on the fence about investing in a pair, go for it! You won’t regret it.

All day wear with no eye strain or tired eyes pool side but more shade than direct sun. Excellent UV and glare protection along with the reader feature to help customers around the pool or bar while working in and out of shaded to sunny areas.

Received many compliments from customers and co-workers. Not for heavy duty all day sun but if you’re in and out and don’t want to switch glasses these are the bomb ! Ha Ha.

Visiting Jim at Quickbkade I was determined to stop in at Bomber before heading back to Santa Barbara. Over 10 pairs later I’m glad I did. These glasses are just incredible. As a waterman there’s nothing better than seeing where you’re going so you know where you’ve been.

My daughter has very large eves and high cheekbones. We struggled finding her googles that worked for her face and didn’t come off her every time she dove off the blocks. These are perfect! She hasn’t has an issue with them coming off or leaking since her first swim with the Cobra Googles.

I like the fit of these glasses and the style. The square shaped glasses looked better on me than the circular frames. I also have a flatter nose bridge so usually glasses slide down. I haven’t had a problem with this.

Also haven’t had a problem with the glasses fogging up as long as I pinch my mask down securely. There is some glare when looking through the lenses. I got the prescription lenses which work great (single lense/prescription, near sighted).

I haven’t had any issues with eye strain. But when I look at bright lights, there’s an aura/glare around the light. It doesn’t bother me too much, just a little annoying. Also supposedly these are blue light treated but doesn’t have the blue tint on the lenses like other glasses do.

I haven’t worn them long enough to know if they prevent blue light from entering. Lastly, the lenses do feel a little cheap. I had a pair of Zenni glasses and they feel similar. I’m sure they will scratch a little easier than higher quality glasses.

Either way, they look good and I’m not constantly squinting to see telemetry monitors because I’m not wearing my regular glasses.

I got the Poseidon Gloss Splatter – Prizm Road Jade lenses. Interesting in appearance. The lenses do appear Jade (shiny green) with a mixture of blue and purple hues, depending on the angle. Certainly different.

These lenses offer good protection from bright sunlight, some wind. The Sutro Lite frame is very light weight, stable while cycling and have excellent coverage with any lens choice. I like that you don’t see frame at the bottom of the lenses which is great while navigating trails on a mountain bike.

I have used the Jawbreakers for a few years now and love them for mountain biking. I have the mountain bike and road bike lenses and typically use the mountain bike lens because they are so go in low light and still do well with the sun.

The glasses have great coverage and keep any dirt, mud, water out of the eyes. Lens are very clear and have great coverage, but they are Oakley lenses, which are some of the best in the market but scratch easily.

The glasses cover the full face and have a really good fit with adjustable arms. Lens swap system is easy and holds lens in securely. The frames are light weight and don’t have the feel of much dexterity, but I have battle tested these and have had no issues with broken parts.

They have great ventilation and don’t fog up at all when on the move. I would highly recommend for Mountain Biking as the best on the market. I have recently started using for splitboarding with mixed results.

When climbing, they fog up because you aren’t going fast enough for the air to flow and clear the fog. That is true with all sunglasses I have tried though, as when sweat gets on the lens in cold weather, fog in inevitable.

I still use these for skinning as the best option if have found. I have tried on the downhill a few times but when it’s cold, the airflow freezes the eyes a bit so they are a no-go. These aren’t intended for snow sports but just though I would share my experience.

I have never worn 100% Goggles. I needed a new set for this coming race season. I like the chrome mirror version. 100% had a price that was right. So I am giving them a try. It they don’t fit well, I will give them away and try my old trusty brand or step up to the plate with more money coming out of the cash-flow department of a limited budget.

I’ve been eye-balling some Scott Prospects and Dragon. Fargon’ Oakley’s are out of reach but those Prizm lenses will one day be mine. Probably beg and grovel my wife or do a 100+ honey dooz’ to get a pair as a gift one day.

Not bad. They have soft rubber on the inside to absorb shocks. I use these to play soccer. The only complaint I have is that the side near the eyes should have been transparent. In soccer, like many other sports, peripheral vision is very important to make quick passes and movements.

Although they are not TOO narrow, the dark and wide sides have narrowed my field of vision. I will however continue to use these as they are definitely better than other brands I’ve tried.

my son (21) has been using these glasses when playing at the local field, i was watching from the sidelines as a practice match was going on. the teams not wearing headgear as no balls were meant to have been thrown.

a batsman hit a ball straight to my sons face but with the glasses my son managed to react to it in time. now saying that it saved my sons life might seem like an exaggeration but my son has a match in less than a week and rumour has it that the match is being scouted.

the hit to the face would have caused him to be pulled out of the team losing his chance to play for a professional baseball team which was his dream. very pleased.

I try to stay active as much as I can and I really like to enjoy the outdoor world with my wife. I bought the eyeguard with transitions lenses and it has amazed me that I can take these wherever I want.

I can cycle during a sunny afternoon with my wife and my goggles sort of become like my own sport sunglasses. I can also play basketball with my friends and stay confident that it won’t break if I get hit.
