20 Best Gold Bathroom Faucets (2022 Updated)

UPDATE: Faucet has been installed and I really like it. Note that the color does not match the light gold color posted at the top of the Home Essentials Direct page. It’s darker, and is true to the photo I have added.

I like the color as-is. My handyman didn’t have a problem installing it. Water pressure is fine. I have no problem with fingerprints. Make sure you buy the rough-in valve that is shown as an optional item.

I’ve been in the midst of analysis-paralysis trying to choose the perfect faucet for my bathroom remodel. I wanted a well-respected brand (led me to Moen) with a modern design, and a rich brass look, but not a yellowy polished brass.

The photos I’ve seen of different finishes — Champagne, Brushed Gold, Antique Brass, etc — were all filtered so it’s been difficult to know what the *real* look of the faucet finish is. I just got this Moen faucet today, and was thrilled when I opened it and saw that it has a rich brass hue, exactly what I was hoping for.

It’s quite hefty too, which is a good sign. Not installed yet, but I’m assuming all will be well, and if not, Moen has a good record for standing behind their products. Price was right too–Home Essentials Direct was the least expensive I saw, and when they bundle the valve assembly, it’s an even better deal.

This faucet feels sturdy and good quality. The downfalls to me are that it shows fingerprints/watermarks like crazy, it’s impossible to keep it looking clean. Also, the color is a bit different than the photo and now it doesn’t match my remodeled bathroom but I can’t return it because it’s installed already.

To me, the color in person is much darker, more of a copper than gold or brass. It does not match the brass items I have.

It’s impossible to keep this faucet looking clean. While they’re easy to wipe off, any droplets of water that get on it leave marks. I had to get in the habit of thoroughly drying it after each use. Color is a very warm brass.

Unfortunately I don’t see myself sticking to this one for many years.

very pretty faucet. the water pressure/flow is good, maybe too much for some since it comes out more like rain water vs traditional water flow, and only minor complaint is the spout holds water for a while so there is minor dripping when not in use.

overall satisfied with product and the quick delivery.

Fabulous looking, high end metal. Came in a wonderfully protective foam box. Bathroom jewelry! Cant wait to get it installed. It ia for a Reno project, so not ready to install.

We bought 2 of these faucets to go with vessel sinks. Installation was quick. The combination of the faucets and the vessel sinks adds a stylish touch to the bathroom. We used the spacing guidelines in the online documentation and have had no problems with water splashing past the sink.

The cost of the faucets was quite high, but overall we are very happy with the results.

I had a Moen look-alike, and it started dripping after ten years. I asked the plumber for recommendations, and he told me Moen and a couple other brands. I chose the Moen because it looked the most like the ones I had.

They are very nice faucets and more “substantial” than my other facuets.

Right height and style for our modern vessel sink and vanity. So far seems to be well made and functions perfectly.

This tub spout is large, this will do well on a tub that has some space between the wall and the tub. Too large for a wall that is flush to tub. The faucet looks as imaged and very nice, but too large for a tub that is wall tub flush, it needs it’s own space to enter the tub and spill over.

Sleek contemporary style, flawless chrome finish and high quality construction. The exposed components are solid brass with a chrome finish, including the spout. the brass spout is a welcome change from a plastic spout that comes with many other bath faucets.

I am very pleased with this purchase!.

I love the style however it doesnt fit on mobile home. So I need to return it. I would not recommend it for a mobile home however.

Love this faucet! Only giving three stars because in all honesty you can find lots of similar styles for much, much less. Hugely overpriced for SURE. Unfortunately I needed it in a pinch and it was going to arrive faster from wayfair than a similar style from a different plumbing store online.

Beautiful faucet, but def beats you up on the price.

Bought two to match with the shower. I had a lot of trouble getting the lift rod to not rub and jam against either the hole in the sink or the mounting washer, not sure which. I was missing or lost pivot rod seat, in either case was not there.

Since I viewed this job as a one man job, I kept having trouble with the faucet tipping over and losing the lift rod. The second install went much better still had some issues with the tipping over issue.

On the other hand the lift rod went in nice and smooth. Also, I did appreciated the flagging of the hot water line. Overall I liked the product but wish the instructions where a little more helpful related to installing the lift rod.

It was a bit of a hit or miss proposition.

Obligatory things First: We received this as a review item. In return, we agreed to install it, write an unbiased review of it after we’ve had it installed and used it for a while. We also agreed to answer follow up questions where possible: 1-Packaging – These aren’t cheap faucets, in fact, they are on the higher end of the consumer market.

The packaging had to be firm and strong to keep things in place, I’d expect clear separation of components, easy to read the documentation and relative ease in installation. They get 5 on each of those: 2-Installation – When it comes to plumbing, I generally leave it to the professionals.

I had watched the ‘pros’ the last few times and to be honest, we had a few disasters (the ‘Pros’ were about as good at installs as I was, they were just willing to charge really hefty fees and leave your room in pieces but I digress).

If you are at all handy, this is an excellent item to break your teeth with. Yes, with something expensive, that’s usually a bad idea, but it really is that easy. Watch the videos, read the instructions, make sure you have each item you need and know exactly what you are trying to accomplish with each step of the installation.

There’s a cliche’ about Measuring Twice, Cutting Once. Maybe it’s my weakness at installing such things but I took almost an hour prepping, watching videos, making sure I had each item specific and knew how, why and where it would be used.

While I lost an hour there, it took me around 10 minutes to do the actual install. (And Had I spent 30-45 minutes in prep, I’d probably have the same result). 3- Looks and Feel: The lighting scheme in the bathroom right now is not one that would do the elegance of this item justice.

I’ll change the lighting scheme later and get a good pic. Not b/c I’m that vain but b/c this thing is that beeautiful. 4-Performance: The world’s worst handyman, who has, alone, destroyed more home improvement projects, then a few years of incoming home improvement school freshman ever will.

I did make sure I put the attention into making sure I had each item i needed and followed all the advice about avoiding leaks. Again noting the short time I spent actually installing it – with heavy regular use, there hasn’t been a discernible drop in the week we’ve had it up.

I love this thing. I love the color, the style, the craftsmanship and I love another 30 things about it I haven’t thought of. Every single person that’s seen any of them has complimented them. They aren’t cheap so I’ll get that out there but you probably won’t need more than a few.

IMHO, if you are trying to make your house more comfortable or attractive to others, these will help you accomplish the goal.

The faucet itself is pretty nice once installed and has a great finish. There are, however, a few problems. First off, it’s nearly impossible to tighten the nuts that attach the valves bodies with an adjustable wrench as outlined in the instructions.

I found that a hot water heater element socket is the correct size (1 1/2″) and allows you to twist the nut and get the correct amount of torque. I called Pfister to complain and they sent me a special installation “tool” which is basically a plastic version of the aforementioned socket.

Why isn’t this included with the faucet? For the price they should have included the plastic installation tool or, at the very least, described the correct socket size needed in the installation instructions.

Secondly the drain gasket that forms the seal on the underside of the sink is not adequate. I had a very minor leak. After carefully tightening it a bit at a time over a period of a few days I was unable to completely stop this leak.

My advice would be to use a small bit of 100% silicone around the inside edge of the gasket and around the drain threads inside the gasket. I did just this and it is now leak free.

I love the faucet looks, was not impossible to install. The problem I have with it is if you spray a simple non abrasive cleaner on it, it causes spots that you have to rub and rub to get off. But really? Why produce a bathroom fixture that you can’t even spray with Meyers cleaner or windex? Like you don’t need to clean a bathroom faucet?.

Awesome design faucet. Everyone that uses it comments how nice it is. Only negative is the cost. Wish they would have more options similar to this. If this is the design you want, buy it !

Beautiful faucet, my neighbors want one now. Quite pricey but we think it’s worth it. Very easy to install.

I have this beautiful looking faucet in my downstairs powder room. The only criticism I have is that my guests have a tough time figuring out how to operate it (as I did, after it was first installed).

Guests tend to push lever from front to back, which doesn’t produce any water, so they think it’s broken. I had to post a sign with an arrow that says, “Pull lever to the right. ” The faucet is beautiful, but lever mechanics are poorly designed.

Here are measurements for my installed Moen S42107 Weymouth faucet: It’s 7. 75″ tall from countertop to top of the little ball on top of spout. It’s 4″ wide and 7. 5″ deep.

The Moen T694 Voss Deck Mounted Roman Tub Filler Trim with Personal Hand Shower looks perfect for my soaker tub. Unfortunately, the hand shower leaks when the faucet is on and the water faucet aerator stream is so weak that it does not produce bubbles.

Had to order a replacement.

Beautiful and masculine faucet. Most of the installation was standard except that my handles were closer together than the valve wanted but I was lucky that I had the solder version and I could shorten the space between the faucet and the spout.

In addition, the spout is held on by a set screw, it is the base of the spout that is screwed down tightly. There is no way to get a more solid spout. I put plumber’s putty under mine to take up the tiny bit of space but It would be nice if one could tighten the spout.

This tub filler is well constructed and looks extremely nice in our bathroom. The directions regarding the hot and cold water hookup is a little dense, so take your time to make sure it is correctly plumbed.

It does require an additional purchase however. The mounting bracket and water hookup is not included.

Profanity is not allowed so it’s best described by a word sounding like wrap. Really difficult to adjust tension on the faucet mounting to the sink since it’s almost impossible to get a wrench or channel lock on the nut.

The fabric hoses are too short and buckle easily. From the water inlet to the tap, it’s approximately an 8” u turn. When you turn on the hot water, the hose loses tension and buckles, limiting water flow.

Overall, not impressed with the quality.

This product is very good quality for the price. It was easy to install and looks very nice on our new marble counter top. The drain assembly part is plastic, but it seems like it should hold up well.

We really love the look of these faucets. We wanted something modern with the ribbon spout, and looked at similar faucets at California Faucets (decided against because we heard that their customer service was awful), Grohe (outside our budget and we didn’t like the roman tub filler of the series that was available at the time), Restoration Hardware (which we then found out are made by NB), and Delta (We couldn’t find them anywhere but online–we didn’t want to buy something sight unseen and without any reviews.

They were quite a bit cheaper than the other brands; we didn’t want to go cheap and regret it later. ) Here are the cons for the NB Secant faucets, which are all design flaws: 1) The escutcheons are screwed on.

So, in order to get it tight you have scratch the bottom plate. 2) It’s loud. I’m not an engineer, but there’s a vacuum or something that causes it to run loud while it’s on. We’ve called NB, and were told that the flow restrictor probably has debris caught.

We dismantled it and “cleared” it and still sounds the same. 3) About a minute after the faucet is turned off, there will be a dribble of water that clears out. 4) If you are expecting a ribbon flow, you won’t find it with this faucet.

I would say it starts out a “ribbon” for about an inch out of the spout and then the water braids. It doesn’t matter how much or little the water is turned on. 5) I’m not sure if it’s our sink that contributes to this issue (it’s a somewhat flat-bottomed Kohler), but the water should be turned on to a low flow otherwise it splashes everywhere.

So, which would we choose if we could do it all over again? Probably the Grohe.

We absolutely love these faucets, we got the matching tub and hand shower faucets as well. We also got the towel rings, tissue paper holder, and hook and very satisfied. We were pleased with the service and shipping, everything came in pristine condition.

Bought 2 of these for two master BRms in a new home. They look great

These are high quality beautiful fixtures. I ordered 3. 1 for the hall bath and 2 for the master. What I didn’t realize when I ordered them is that the pivot 180 degrees and it is a really smooth and elegant movement.

This was unexpected but I love it. Makes rinsing the sink so easy. They are a shiny gold and just on the cusp of guady but I think they are elegant. They compliment my art deco style bathroom.

This is a beautiful faucet. I love everything about it. The style and water flow are great. The handles move smoothly turning water on and off easily. I would definitely purchase this item again.

The product speaks for itself. The installation was a little harder than normal because of the old drain. It took a long time to get it out but after that everything went as planned.

Followed the instructions to the letter, but when I went to put the faucet handles on they turned towards the backsplash(for on) and not toward the sink. Normally not a big deal but with the vanity and sink I purchased I pre installed everything except the handles on top before setting the counter top(which is now fully attached).

I did the preinstall because I knew there was going to be very limited room to install the faucet set up once the vanity top was in place. I installed with the arrows pointing toward the sink and the cold on the right and hot on the left per instructions BUT the faucets work backwards.

Now after hours of fidgeting in a really tight space I have switched the cold lever mechanism to the hot side and vise versa for the hot. The levers now function like normal. Poor quality control.

Nickel finish product does not show fingerprints as our previous faucet did. Installation was precise and easy. The pop-up, push-button drain is much easier to install, use, and clean than the older style with a pull-up lever behind the faucet.

Push-on connections further ease installation. Simple design, and smooth surfaces make this faucet easy to keep clean.

To be fair, we didn’t buy this. It was there when we moved in. The spout design is not practical at all. It’s a bar instead of traditional style, and this causes the water to come out with a lot of force, converging into a single spot.

When the water hits your hands, it splashes everywhere. Literally every single time we wash our hands we have to wipe off the backslash wall, and we have a very deep sink. This looks good, but like many faucets that “look good”, it’s not practical for everyday use.

The weight of this faucet is really nice in hand and doesn’t make me doubt how it will hold up as far as running water. I purchased in brass, and it isn’t too bright or too brushed or dull. However, on the the front of the handle on the faucet I received does has a scratch on it which makes the whole faucet look cheap (which it definitely wasn’t) so that is very disappointing.

It also requires a constant wipe with a soft cloth to keep it from looking dirty from use. After washing my hands, I find myself drying my hands with my hand towel and then re-buffing the faucet. So if you’re not able to over look fingerprints from regular use, I’d opt for the black or fingerprint less brushes chrome or something.

I think it’s nice that you’re given the option to use the faucet with or without the base. I decided not to use it and it overall looks really nice.

We have several Miseno products that we love. They look great and are inexpensive. Unfortunately, unlike our kitchen faucet and shower setup from Miseno, this bathroom faucet didn’t work. First the rivet that holds the faucet in place broke.

Miseno quickly sent a new faucet and was very responsive. The replacement faucet began leaking out the bottom. Reluctantly, we replaced it with another brand. Faucet looks great and Miseno seems like a good company.

Maybe you’ll have better luck.

Outstanding faucet! I am so happy that I purchased these faucets for both my upstairs bathrooms, love the sleek, easy to clean design and really love the push-pop drain, no lame drain handle, and it is water tight! I’m a huge plumbing snob and my go to is usually Grohe or Hans Grohe, but really like these faucets.

Oh and the water pressure is perfect without splashing all over, so could use in a shallow sink. They are Perfect, I would buy them again and refer them in a heartbeat!.

Easy to install. The brushed nickel doesn’t show a lot of water spots. It whistled when both hot and cold handles were turned on full, which was remedied by removing the restrictor O ring. This also fixed the slight delay drip that would happen when turning off the faucet.

Only caution I would mention is to note the spout reach — it still works for our sink, but I’m ordering one that is a little longer for our other bathroom remodel.

My clients wanted a designer faucet for their primary bath but their budget didn’t allow for it. We found this faucet and it looks just like the designer version without the designer price. It is solid construction and feels great in your hands.

Our plumber said it was easy to install.

We had to reorder the entire faucet because the cheap plastic part inside one of the handles broke during installation. Tried for months to work with the company to get the plastic part replaced but it proved futile so we ended up having to buy the entire faucet to fix that one small part.

Terrible customer service from the manufacturer and point of sale.

Very happy with the look of the purist collection in my bathroom remodel BUT be sure to inspect your parts. I am noticing that there are several imperfections in the majority of my pieces. The faucet has somewhat of a smear that cannot be wiped away and what looks like knicks from the type of machinery used to put the part together.

Through they are not noticeable unless inspected, this type of quality is not what I expect, and I hope that the quality assurance team reviews all products before packaging to avoid future occurrences.

I want to be clear; Build. com is the best! With regard to the Kohler Purist Widespread, I’m a little disappointed in the way the piece gets assembled. The threads are very delicate and it is tricky to get everything aligned properly while making sure the fittings don’t leak.

During a recent renovation of two bathrooms, I worked with a number of Kohler pieces, and for the price, I found the engineering of this to be much less robust than the others.

I looked everywhere for new faucets and originally did not want to spend $ 300 plus each. I had a $ 160. 00 Price Pfister installed in one bathroom two years ago, but a year into it, one of the visible rubber gaskets on the hot side was swollen and damaged.

I did not want to go cheap again this time, but get something that should last many years. Time will tell and I will certainly update if something goes awry. I could not find a modern, sleek looking taller faucet I liked as much and I gave in.

I am so glad I did. Love these Kohler faucets. They just exude quality. I had three of them installed two month ago, but I still notice and love looking at them every time I use the sink. Part of it might be because I had such ugly eighty’s shiny brass faucets before.

(I still have the rest of the outdated 80s bathrooms. 4 inch, off-white Dal tile everywhere). But these have made such a difference and upgraded the look, I might keep the tile :). For another bathroom I did not want to spend that much and installed a similar looking Moen fixture.

It is much more stout looking, masculine. In hindsight, I should have spend the extra $ 100 and gotten the Kohler version for this bathroom.

Purchased a cheap faucet before purchasing this Moen. The first faucet last only a year before the finish failed and started leaking. This faucet is much heavier, built much better. The finish is guaranteed not to tarnish or flake or Moen will replace it, also guaranteed not to leak or the company will send you the parts to repair or replace it for free.

It was very easy to install. The Moen Voss looks excellent. I will never purchase a cheap faucet again, staying with Moen.

The faucet is nice. The finish on the picture looks to be a bit speckled, but ours arrived in a pretty even tone. It was easy to install and it seems like a quality piece. Unfortunately I ordered all of the accessories to go with the faucet and the finish is completely different on the accessories.

I wish I could post a picture of the variance in this review because it was substantial. After contacting Moen, they noted that the finishes between the faucet and the accessories would never be the same because they are manufactured in two different locations.

I am keeping the faucet but will need to try to find accessories from another manufacturer to match it.

This faucet is just beautiful. We have been remodeling for what seems like forever and the sink in the bathroom was an old pink 60s or whenever sink. It was small and ugly. I had to take the measurements on this faucet to get a vessel sink that would look right with the height of this.

It’s quite tall. Over 11 inches. I supposed you could do a different type of sink but for us it didn’t look right. So we got the right kind of sink and put them both in which looks just amazing. It’s really easy to install.

Hot/cold is labeled. The hoses are standard size. I did not install this but my husband does all of that handy work around the house. Took him just a few minutes to get the faucet installed. I love the look.

My kids aren’t too sure yet. It’s taking them some time to get the temp right because they are use to two knobs and not the single at the top. Of course they don’t care how it looks just how it works so they are going to take a bit to figure it out.

It seems to be holding up well to 3 kids as well. They aren’t easy on my bathroom and I don’t notice any grit, dirt or scuffs from them so far. The finish is great. The install was fast. It looks amazing.

Perfect upgrade to my old bathroom.

Love Love Love these faucet. We purchased the Nickle finish , for our master bath remodel. They were very well packaged. Have not installed yet, but can’t wait. They will definitely be a show stopper in our new modern looking bath.

We got the brushed gold faucet. It is beautiful and should be the perfect height and span for a vessel sink. Our contractor was very impressed with the packaging and this heavy well made faucet.

I purchased this faucet in the weathered copper finish for a guest bathroom redo. The faucet is nice, but has several annoying flaws. 1. The valve body is made in germany and is flawless. The drain assembly is made in Mexico and is flawless.

It is the American part that I have a problem with. 2. The spout is misaligned on the spout shank by about 10 degrees. The spout also has a 1cm dent in the metal that was obviously there when the finish was applied.

These flaws will not be noticeable where I am installing the faucet, so I’m not going to worry about. 3. The bottom of the hexagonal valve-body bonnet has several nicks resulting in the surface not being smooth.

When this hexagonal part is screwed down on the round valve-body escutcheon, it could scratch the surface and be noticeable. This was remedied by gently rubbing the bonnet base across fine emory cloth and applying a thin film of oil to the top escutcheon surface before assembly.

No big deal, but it could have been. In summary, this is a nice faucet. It is not “flawless beauty from faucet to finish”, like the ads say. At nearly $600, I do not think it is worth twice the price of Kohler.

I had the faucet, stopper and sink installed yesterday. I really like the simplicity of the design but the faucet is lots bigger in person than you’d expect. It looks a bit chunky because of it’s all over size.

I bought brushed nickel because I have brushed nickel in both bathrooms. This fixture holds onto water spots which is odd for a faucet. I did get the spots out but it took some effort. Additionally take a good look at the pop up drain stopper in my pic.

It’s so big that it detracts from my new sink and faucet. I wouldn’t have bought this faucet if I saw it in a store.

Comes with the drain! I love this faucet set. It looks great, and once installed feels sturdy and looks amazing. Again, so nice that it comes with the drain assembly and you’re not left trying to match a finish! The black matte finish is rich, stately black.

A lovely piece.

I was on the fence because I never heard of this brand. The faucet is very heavy/sturdy and seems to be well built. Obviously, over time that could change but we were very impressed with it upon arrival.

The color is gorgeous and matches my cabinets pulls perfectly. The only downside would be the stopper. It seems to be very over sized to the point where I thought I ordered incorrectly. Since we’re having new vanity/sink made (so they’ll cut the hole to match) it’s okay but, I could see if I was replacing an existing faucet with stopper, how that would be an issue.

But, overall very happy!.
