I usually love Swanson Vitamins, but this one was a disappointment. The pills do not dissolve. I always “look back” after I have bowel movements, and I saw this supplement in my stool undissolved. I thought it was just a one-time thing, so I did a test by putting one of the capsules in a cup of water and waited to see if it would dissolve.
An hour later it was still sitting in the water unchanged. Waste of money unless I want to open up the capsules and dump them in my food or drink and take them that way. They really stink, so I’m not too keen on opening them up to ingest them.
As other reviewers noted the capsule does not dissolve in the digestive tract. If left in water or vinegar overnight it swells up and turns rubbery with the contents remaining dry. The powder needs to be transferred to a gelcap, otherwise it’s a waste of money.

I got this after seeing a recommendation on TikTok. I have had an issue with picking the skin around my fingernails since I was a teenager (I’m now 32). I don’t know how to describe it, I’ve tried to stop before but it’s almost just an uncontrollable impulse even though it can be really painful.

I choose this product because of the prolonged release. In the past, using a non PR, I would wake once the Melatonin cleared my system, I would wake almost instantly and too early to start my day. So PR is important because I can take tablets at different intervals and stay asleep the entire night.
It just takes a little time to figure how many and at what interval to achieve restful sleep all night and not be drowsy in the AM. Douglas Laboratories was the only PR offered by HHL, but Douglas Laboratories has a great reputation so no concerns with the quality of the product.
It is nice to have restful sleep after 10+ months of poor sleep.
Unfortunately, I have had problems with this product. It is now made with the addition of Vitamin C. I am highly sensitive to Vit C and have been suffering with allergic reactions to the product. The original Pecta-Sol is much better for me but unfortunately it is no longer sold in it’s original form.
Now it’s only available as Pecta-Sol-C which has C added to the original formula. I wish I could get it in it’s original formula because it was a very good product.

*I received this product from Influenster/Integrative Therapeutics for free to test + review. * I’ve suffered from anxiety all my life but in my adult years, the majority of my symptoms appear at night when my mind is supposed to be calming down from the day and preparing to rest.
Prior to taking this supplement I can’t tell you the last time I actually slept through or got more than 4 hours/night and trust and believe that was NOT due to a lack of trying. Typically I take the recommended dose about an hour before I actually want to be asleep.
Within that hour I get in bed and read (something NOT stressful and off my phone). Within 20 min. I’m typically dosing off and waking up a sold 6-7 hours later. Although I have not experienced any medical issues or side effects since taking, you should always see a doctor prior to taking this or any kind of supplement to ensure it’s safe/necessary/beneficial to take based on your medical history.
I would def. recommend getting your cortisol levels checked prior to taking just to get a baseline read.
These were referred to me by a friend. I bought this because I am having difficulty losing inches around my middle and I know that stress causes excessive cortisol production which causes you to gain/retain weight around your waist.

My naturopath recommended this product to bring my glucose level down. It had risen into the pre diabetes range although I was not diabetic. Since taking this product my glucose has dropped into normal range and I lost ten pounds without trying.

DIM (diindolylmethane) is a metabolic byproduct of I3C (indole-3-carbinol), a compound found in broccoli, cabbage and other vegetables in the Brassicacae family.
