20 Best Oil For Bleached Hair (2022 Updated)

I have been using this for about 2 years now and my hair has never been better. I am 51, colored/highlighted shoulder length. I use about a tablespoon after washing but before combing. I apply more to ends as my hair dries.

Each night before bed I apply more and brush it through. Covering your head with a satin cap protects it from grinding aginst the pillowcase. It does not weigh down hair at all. If It looks like you put too much then that’s the right amount.

In the morning I have smooth soft hair with shine. It is very light and it soaks in. doesn’t sit on your hair making it oily. The smell is great and I use the sjampoo/conditioner and leave in spray too.

I received this in an Ipsy bag and have been using it for several years now. I always buy several bottles at once. After washing my hair, I apply it to the bottom half of my hair starting at the ends.

Not only does it act like a detangler, it leaves my super long and fine hair really soft without feeling or looking greasy (the one with the blue cap is intended for a shine look. I prefer the silver cap one.

). This product has definitely improved the health of my locks. I have given away bottles because I believe in this product and it’s instant results. It will change your hair game and life.

My hair is smoother and fuller when I use it. When I put it on after shampooing it always feels so heavy and oily but I rinse it lightly to help distribute it through my hair and scalp then put on conditional as usual.

I dont normally blow dry but instead comb my hair into desired directions then put in a ponytail which I twirl astound my finger to creat a curl and let dry. It keeps its shape after it dries and then I brush it! Really helps to control frizz.

My hair seems healthier.

I bleach my ends about twice a year and I have naturally thin straight hair that I’ve been trying to grow out for years with no luck, but I was asking my hair dresser a brand she likes and she suggested this, I bought it and have absolutely fallen in love! It doesn’t weigh my hair down or discolor my ends.

I use it every time after I shower and sometimes in between washes to give my hair some life. I’ve actually noticed my hair seems a lot healthier and I’ve managed to grow it out a good bit so far! Buying more and will continue to buy more in the future!.

I air dry my hair all the time, and this product has made my hair so manageable in the process. It has actually improved my hair over time. I also use the AG Hair shampoo and conditioner, and this brand of products has made me a believer in making sure I use good products in my hair.

I put this oil on after towel drying (sometimes barely towel drying, depending on how late I am for work), follow it up with Deva Curl Wave Maker and I’m out the door. Sometimes, I’ll use AG Hair Texture Gloss on my ends for 2nd or 3rd day hair to refresh it, but otherwise, my hair air dries smooth and totally manageable! I have made it a point to make sure I have an extra on hand just in case!.

I bought the small trial size of this product so I could try it out before investing in the bigger size. I have only used this three times and what a difference! (Full disclosure: I also bought and used the trial size pack of AG’s color care shampoo/conditioner/split end treatment which I also love!) My hair is shoulder-length, color-treated, thick and wavy with a fine texture.

To get sleek hair, it takes me 15-20 minutes of contant blowdrying with a flat brush and a large round brush. I had read about argan oil from a couple of haircare blogs and they raved about it, so I thought I would give it a try.

I put about 5 pumps of the argan oil in my hair before blow-drying and it seemed to protect my hair from the heat and also maintained moisture. My hair was shinny, hydrated and glossy, and didn’t feel brittle or dried-out like it usually does.

LOVE THIS STUFF!!! The argan oil also seems to help prevent frizziness from humidity which is helpful during the summer. The oil smells fine and doesn’t leave your hair greasy like other oil products I’ve tried.

This is my first AG purchase and I’m excited to try their other products! The sample size will last through about 3-4 uses for my hair, but that’s enough for me to make a decision and I will definitely be buying the bigger bottle! (I’ll just refill my trial size bottle for traveling.

) My only “con” is the price, but if it works (which it does!), I’m willing to pay it.

I have curly naturally dryer hair and I blow dry my hair with a round brush every time I wash, so I tried to is very moisturizing shampoos and treatments. I bought this in the hopes that it would bring back some of that moisture after I blow dried it, and give me some added shine.

Unfortunately, I don’t feel like it does too much of either, but since I have it I will keep using it until it’s gone, but I will not be re-purchasing.

I like the price for sure of this one. I thought it was good not amazing but I have really dry frizzy curly hair. I do keep gravitating towards it because it doesn’t weight my hair down it isn’t greasy or heavy.

I like it but I don’t love it. Is it better than most? Yes. I’ll keep using it because so far it’s one of the best there is.

After reading many reviews I was excited to try this. first day I was disappointed. Then I realized that it manages the frizz but the volume is still there. Once I realized this I was content. Its a great product but I was looking for a product with more control.

Also, for the first time ever I feel like my curls are silky and not course and brittle. Tip. If you have a lot of hair that is also thick, course and frizzy and want to see a difference- try going to a salon and getting the damaged ends removed- get it significantly thinned out and spend the money on this product line.

Its an investment but if you’re tired of years of unruly hair it’ll be worth it. Stay realistic too, the volume will still be there but it’ll look healthier, silky and flowy.

Love this, it smells divine. I use a small. amount on the ends of styled hair, it works particularly well on vintage sets to stop any frizz. Brilliant finishing oil, a little goes a long way and the bottle size is pretty large so will keep me going for ages.

Very, very nice clear oil which is perfect for silver or grey hair.

Absolutely love this hair oil!! I don’t really style my hair but after the shower I put this on my hair damp, my hair stays smooth and shiny until my next wash! I feel like with everyday that goes buy my hair gets smoother and silkier! Can’t live without this, I really see the difference when I don’t use it!.

I have dry, allover bleached blonde hair, and saw an IMMEDIATE improvement in the texture, shine, and softness of my hair after applying this (I followed the instructions and applied to roots while damp, then to ends after fully drying), and it looked like I’d gotten a professional blowout if I’m being totally honest.

I don’t use a lot of oils/leave-ins in my hair besides occasional plain jojoba oil if my ends are looking dry after washing/drying, and a keratin detangler spray. In my opinion, this oil from Oribe replaces both of those items–it detangles and seems to protect from heat styling, and also seems to seal the cuticle when used on dry hair.

It smells amazing, too, and it’s not cloying or obnoxious–kind of citrus-y, a little floral-y? Very unique scent. My hair is fine (but I have a lot of it), and gets weighed down easily if I use too much product, especially on my roots, but I’ve found that this lightweight oil doesn’t make my hair greasy or weigh it down, which is huge for me, and honestly the biggest reason why I would purchase it for realsies.

More importantly though, it does exactly what you want of a hair oil. tames frizz, split ends and leaves us with that glossy salon finish that we always chase when doing at home styling. It’s a different consistency to most other oils on the market, it’s not thick, goopy or sticky (a little goes a long way).

It’s a much more lightweight consistency which works out well for people who already have greasy hair types. I keep oil away from my scalp in most areas, however the bleached/heat damaged layers that frame my face tend to need oil quite close to the root, I am able to use this oil for that area as it is so lightweight that it still keeps a nice airy bounce there and my hair doesn’t react badly or get greasy any quicker than it would have without (which was a pleasant surprise for me).

The reason I gave 4* is that I was expecting a more pleasant scent from this product, it doesn’t smell bad, but rather to me it’s almost like it has no smell at all, and I’m aware that for some people this could be a positive factor that would actually gain the product a star in their eyes that is why I’m mentioning it.

Other than that, for me it’s the perfect product and exactly what I look for in a hair oil, I have already gone on to recommend it to numerous people, and I’d definitely repurchase. This is the first ORIBE product I have tried, but it’s made me curious to trial a few more.

Unfortunately this is not for me. Applied great on hair but as my hair dried the oil left it feeling and looking greasy and i never have greasy hair. It felt awful so i had to wash my hair again to remove the product.

Such a shame as always looking for a product to tame my frizz and curls!.

I like this product. I put a bit of this oil after my hair wash and it nourished my scalp and it didn’t feel dry or flaky. I put a bit into my strands and the only problem I had with this was that you have to be cautious of how much you put because it might make it way too oily looking.

I like the Palmer’s brand but this product did not work for me. I bought two bottles – one for me and one for my daughter. We both wear our hair natural and was looking for a good product to keep our hair moisturized and healthy.

However, It did not moisturize our hair and made us smell like chocolate all the time. It was just greasy and my hair felt coarser after adding the product. I like chocolate, just do not want to smell like it all the time.

Love this stuff. Smells great and it’s super hydrating to my hair. Between hair washing days, my hair gets super dry and crunchy so I spray this in it and it’s like my hair is instantly revived. I also massage it into my scalp to help with itchiness.

This oil makes the hair very smooth and fine, they look and feel very healthy immediately after application. They also shine very nicely and you can’t see the split ends anymore. Top product! Inexpensive.

Leaves hair shiny and smelling great, I’ve always had problems with tangled hair after washing and since using this I don’t have that problem anymore

Love this stuff it helps smooth your hair and makes the hair look great and smells great. The only issue I had is the bottle I bought was completely leaking all over when I got home and most of the product was in the bad wasted.

What was left worked great. Not sure what was wrong with the bottle because it was not cracked just the cover or pump misfunction. Would love to find more products in the area of this brand to try. They were a little bit pricier products.

I really like using Marula Oil in my hair the only thing is you have to be very careful that you don’t overdo it. I put it on when my hair is damp and I try to concentrate just the ends and then before I style my hair I will brush it through, otherwise It can get very oily looking and greasy looking and nobody wants her hair to look like that.

So if you use a small amount on Damp hair you can always add more but you can’t take it out. .

The light Marula oil works really well for my medium density, semi wavy, low-frizz white girl hair. Haha. I would not suggest the original unless your hair is very parched either through color/processing or if you have naturally curly hair.
