No bearing issues, no upper valve train problems, noticed dlight noise reduction in upper valve train (notoriously loud on basically any M car of its time) and have zero oil consumption between changes every 3k.

Was a little skeptical on running racing oil in my FX45 but all seems to be working well with the Motul plus itnhas ester in it. Was initially using PUP (Pennziol Ultra) but wanted a little more “oil strength” due to my increased hwy driving at about 75-85mph 70 miles a day.
Saw mpg increase from 14. 5 to 15. 5, still have to top off between oil changes usually a quart about every 1800 miles due to the vq and vk’s burning oil. I will say with the Motul 5w30 racing oil when checking oil level and topping off the oil does look a little cleaner.
Very expensive for oil but may help prolong life of 200,000+ engine!!!.
I own a high mileage 2008 Mazdaspeed 3. This is by far the best motor oil I’ve ever used. Of I understood that “you get what you pay for” and given the high price I wouldn’t have accepted anything less.
I haven’t had the oil tested after a change yet, but the color, consumption (oil level) and viscosity look great at 3800 miles when compared to other I’ve used (Royal Purple “SAE”, Mobil 1). I highly recommend this oil for any high performance motor for either forced induction or naturally aspirated.
Definitely adds a tiny bit more power for tuned and performance motors. A bit expensive as well, but Subaru dealerships will sell each one for 30$. Enjoy!!!
