20 Best Oil For Double Cleansing (2022 Updated)

I decided to move away from a granular cleanser and the La Mer range kept popping up as a great option for my sensitive but acne prone skin. I use it alone in the mornings and double cleanse at night with the Shiseido foaming cleanser.

My skin is so much clearer and feels softer immediately after using it. I’ve noticed immediate changes to my skin when I started using this. I will be re-purchasing and will start to get more of the La Mer products now.

I have been using La Mer products for nearly two decades, occasionally I change to see if anything better has been brought out, and always, without a fail, I return to the same products. This oil has a beautiful omega/marine fragrance, very subtle and gentle.

only need two pumps to cleanse the whole face, gently rub it into the skin, making sure you can see makeup dissolving, then add a little water to turn it into milky soapy substance and wash it all away or use a damp face flannel to wipe it clean.

This cleanser will dissolve even the most stubborn waterproof mascaras with no effort at all. If used incorrectly, this cleanser will leave your face sticky and uncomfortable, perhaps even clog your pores, therefore, it is essential to read instructions which will help and avoid writing negative reviews, just because you don’t know how to use it.

Plus it smells like absolute s**t! I bought it purely based on the high reviews I read online…I figured it would be a temporary supplement to a cleanser that I had previously bought by Guerlain until I had an opportunity to go back to Nordstrom Valley Fair between my “widowed” single mom duties and full time work responsibilities.

Boy, was I sold a bag of goods. This product caused redness and irritation of my skin and at least a dozen blemishes to appear on my jawline and chin and around my lip. And I only used it once! Total waste of my time researching this product and my hard earned money.

The idea of cleaning my skin with oil seemed a little odd but I received a small sample when I ordered other trilogy products. Boy am I glad they sent it. I suffer from very dry skin, especially in the winter.

By swapping out this cleanser when the weather dips, I’ve been able to keep my skin clean and hydrated. It’s also great when you are trying to get off some of the hard to remove eye makeup. After rinsing the oil cleanser off, I follow with the rosehip oil.

Using both oils has not presented any problems for my skin. It’s actually reduced the small breakouts I get when my skin dries out and clogs my pores.

This is one of my favorite cleansing oils!!! It’s a clean, non-toxic skincare line. It has organic Rosehip, papaya and sweet almond oils in it. Pump 3-4 times in hand then apply to face. Add water it emulsifies into a milk; but not like a milk cream cleanser.

Just a gentle transition from oil to milk. Takes my make-up off in one shot! Doesn’t dry my skin out and helps replenish the moisturizer and barrier of the skin with all the essential fatty acids…omega 3,6 and 9s in it! Just finished my second bottle of it! ❤️.

I have acne combination skin and I was terrified to try a cleaning oil but this was on sale. I’ve tried their base version of their rose hip oil and loved the benefits for my skin so I was like why not.

I do not use this everyday but it does leave my skin feeling “oily” but in a “I know I just applied an oil to my face” kind of way. basically it leaves a residue on your skin (like I expected out of a cleansing oil) but it doesn’t bother me because I know it’s doing good things to my skin.

Rosehip really does help with my redness and dryness mainly but also helps healing of acne scars too. it does not make me break out and I’ll use in combination of my moisturizer and a “spray” toner so I dont wipe off the residue left on my skin.

I use it for stay at home days or before bed because I dont like looking greasy when I go out.

I love this combo of cleansers. I have been using Pai products for quiet sometime now, specifically the RoseHip Bioregenerate for about 5 years now and with the new ligthwork cleanser, I just have to have it.

It works really well along with the cream. I do not use makeup everyday but when I do put makeup on, I apply moisturizer with spf 30 to my face, then a Primer, foundation. etc and seal it with a setting spray.

I also use water resistant liquid eyeliner and mascara. With the lightwork, you just need to massage it around your eyelids for a few seconds to get rid of the eyeliner. Sometimes it will take all of it away and sometimes it will leave a few marks (just like using a regular eye makeup remover, it never removes all of it), patience is the key.

Remember this product is 100 times better than any other known brands in the market. Then the MiddleMist Seven cream. I love the feel of my skin after this routine, it will feel soft and refresh. I also use the cream even without makeup on just to cleanse my face esp if I use sunscreen during the day.

The oil cleanser is perfect for taking off make up and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. The cream cleanser is my go to cleanser and I’ve been using it for ages. It’s one of the only cleansers that doesn’t flare up my perioral dermatitis.

Using them both together to double cleanse really helps to smooth out my skin texture.

This duo are the dream team! I was happy with my previous product but these products have exceeded my expectations. My skin feels super clean whilst also feeling soft and hydrated. I also bought the Back to Life serum which is a total game changer and received a Resurrection Girl tester which is incredible too.

Please keep in mind while reading this: I have terribly sensitive skin (allergies that make me break out in bad rashes on my skin, something I feel I’ve been fighting since I was very little with medication, skin creams, etc.

etc. ) and it’s really hard to find products that work for me. I had been wanting to try out the Korean skin care routine because really nothing else seemed to be working, but I also wanted to keep to cruelty free products.

After some research, I was able to create my own “Korean skin care routine kit for sensitive skin” and WOW, my skin feels amazing. Unfortunately, since I bought them all at the same time and started using them all right away, I can’t attribute any one thing to keeping my skin feeling so soft, my pores shrinking, my rashes GONE, and the CONSTANT peeling on my nose also no longer being a problem.

What I CAN say about this cleanser is that, when paired with the Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser, my face feels amazing. It has just right amount of moisture while still being clean. I could visibly see a difference with my normally huge pores after a few days of using this combination.

These two steps (the cleansing oil and then foaming cleanser) are my favorite parts about my skin care routine, hands down. I would definitely recommend using this brand.

Purito’s From Green cleansing oil has become a holy grail product for me. Just like the whole brand the oil is advertised as a clean product and it really is. It’s vegan and free from harmful ingredients which could irritate your skin.

I actually tried out the product randomly on the search for new products but I got hooked pretty fast. The oil cleanser I used before this one was good but it was always a bit difficult to emulsify. A problem I actually only realized after using this one.

This oil emulsifies super easily. I love the feeling while applying this oil. It’s so smooth and it does a wonderful job at removing all the gunk from your skin. My skin always feels fresh and clean after using this product but never dry.

With this product you definitely get a bang for your buck. I use this oil every night as a first cleanser, but it still lasts pretty long (3-4 months, I use 2 pumps but I also have a huge face lol). Anyway, you can’t really go wrong with this cleansing oil!.

I enjoyed and loved the cleansing oil I was previously using though I wanted to try something new. At the time I was using the Purito’s unscented serum, and I thought why not give their cleansing oil a chance.

At first I was hesitant and hoping that it wouldn’t cause any break outs, but it just so happened it didn’t. Since the consistency of the oil is perfect (not too liquidly and not to firm/dry) you don’t need to much pumps, I only use a little over one pump and that is enough to remove the sunscreen I wear.

I currently don’t wear makeup and when I do its very light so I would say about two pumps should be enough to remove all that. The cleansing oil glides onto your face there is no tugging or harsh rubbing, it emulsifies just fine and no residue (I feel that it is completely removed either way I follow with a second cleanser).

Overall great product, great price point, great ingredients and great formulation.

I’ve purchased a lot of cleansing oils over the last few years and this little beauty beats them all. Feels lovely and does a thorough job of getting all the goop and dirt off. Also recommend Fatco’s Invigorating Body Butta.

For the longest time I was forever faithful to my Clinique Take The Day Off: Cleansing Balm for the start of my double cleanse. I loved everything about it, minus the price. $45CDN every month or so was just becoming a bit too much.

Enter Amazon. I saw this being advertised on my Amazon front page for $8CDN. I read up on the reviews and figured, for $8 you can’t lose! I have used this for over a month now and I am just hitting the half-way mark.

It’s a runny oil but a one/two pumps will suffice. It removes every single trace of makeup. Even stubborn waterproof mascara. I don’t need to scrub hard and after about 30 seconds of working the oil in, I rinse.

All eye makeup is gone and even my stubborn red lipstick has vanished. Once my face has been rinsed clean (which is a breeze), I follow with my normal cleanser. Now for those sensitive to scents, this is pretty heavy on the floral side.

It does have Rosehip fragrance. I quite like the scent and think it’s quite pretty. However if you don’t like scents, give this a pass. I have very sensitive, acne prone skin. This oil does not break me out or cause any irritations.

My eyes also never seem to react! If you are looking for a bargain that does the job, give this bad boy a go! I’m sure you’ll love it!.

I ran out and bought this 30 minutes to close because tik tok made me do it. I have blackheads and problematic skin that’s mostly kept under control by a retin A prescription. I was a little nervous because of some of the people who have broken out, but figured I would just try it or else I would never know.

So I finally tried it, keeping a close eye on my skin and only massaging for a few minutes following a cleanser. First of all, gunk definitely came out of my pores, second, I did not break out, and finally, my skin feels and looks amazing already! I can already tell that this is going to be the game changer that makes my skin go from sometimes good sometimes bad to straight silky smooth vibrancy! Only 4 stars because I agree with the negative comments saying that fragrance isn’t necessary.

Although a lot of comments love the fragrance, it’s not that important and diminishes the wholesomeness of what this product could be. It is dec,4,2020, and tik tok made me buy this. The double cleansing craze is in full swing and Palmer would be wise to add a fragrance free option if they want a true fan base and recognition.

Wow I really love this stuff! I’ve had super oily skin ever since puberty till now, so like ten years, and this stuff is the only thing to actually make me less oily! My skin just desperately wants to be hydrated I guess, but overcompensates by being oily.

This cleanser scrubs deep down into my pores to clean out the gunk and keep me looking healthy and glowy. I only use Palmers products on my skin now, I don’t trust anything else because this brand has changed my skin around for me, on my body too.

This oil used with their coconut sugar scrub is the best skin care routine I could recommend to anyone with oily-acne-prone skin and uneven skin tone and texture.

I really like Countertime Lipid defense oil. This is my second bottle. First one I bought almost 8 months ago. So a little goes a long way! I first bought the regimen. I have really have seen a difference in my skin.

I was very skeptical about using an oil as a cleanser. My skin is no oily but I just didn’t think it would work. It doesn’t make my skin oily. It is great for me because I have sensitive skin. I can even use it over my eye lids and have no reaction.

It has not caused any breakouts for me. Not even blackheads. It is a gentle but effective cleanser. Great for aging skin!.

To be honest, I wasn’t really washing my face with a cleanser. I don’t wear much make up, so I mostly just focused on moisturizing and sloughing off the dry stuff. But I purchased this when my consultant mentioned something about it protection my “moisture barrier” and when it was on sale, I pulled the trigger.

She was right! I’ve noticed a major difference in my skins retention of moisture in just a week! Granted, I am using all of the Countertime products, but I had been using some components of that series before this.

This is a versatile face wash that I use daily. At night, I use as the first step in washing my face. In the morning, I often find I use it when I have quick errands to run and don’t have time to shower (i.

e. do my formal morning skincare routine). The scent is subtle, but fresh & light. As directed, I wash with a dry face and wet my hands. Two squirts go a long way and it leaves my face feeling clean but not at all dry.

I highly recommend this as an addition to your skincare collection!.

My first purchase of cleansing oil from the brand and I really am impressed ! It has an uplifting spa-like scent from its blends of different oil bases and rinses very well with water. I can even skip my cleansing foam which I regularly had to use as second step from using another premium brand.

Would surely re purchase.

I always prefer removing my makeup with a dry oil technique so I was very excited to stumble upon this and check it out! I love the smell and it does a great job removing my makeup but the texture is a little off compared to other cleansing oils I have tried.

Otherwise, I always love malin + goetz packaging and am very interested in trying other products by them.
