20 Best Oil For Dry Face (2022 Updated)

When I went to use the oil it was a light colour with a layer of white (foam?) at the top. I didn’t think much of it and applied it to my face. I have used Clarins all my life. I have NEVER had a reaction to any moisturiser or skin product ever.

The next morning my face felt tingly and I thought it was doing it’s job – deep hydration. I used it again in the evening and by the next morning there was a rash across my face and down my neck. Like I had sunburn.

I then patch tested it on sensitive parts of my body for a couple of days but no redness and no reaction. Then my face started itching and a couple of days later, became bumpy and started to peel. This product literally burnt my skin – I don’t know if it has to do with the colour of it – it certainly doesn’t look like the picture.

So disappointed.

I’m a lifelong fan of the blue orchid oil but as my skin got very dry and sensitive during the pandemic because of the need to wear masks often and for extended periods of time I thought I’d give this one a go as well.

It is excellent. It solved the problem, my skin no longer stretches and tightens but is soft and pleasant to touch. I use it sparingly as too much of it causes my skin to break out. I use it overnight under serum and night cream but also mix a few drops with one of the Clarins face masks, the results are amazing! The bottle lasts for ages and it beautifully hydrates my skin.

I love this oil even more than the Blue Orchid oil which i had before. The wonderful cardamon fragrance is amazing especially for the winter months. I take this when I travel so after I get to the hotel, I wash my face and put this on to relax.

It’s soothing and hydrating, I’ve never found it irritating close to the eye area. This is also really great if you have a bit of wind chapped skin. This is my favouriate Clarins Facial Oil. Enjoy!.

This is my 4th bottle and I’m obsessed. I have the most sensitive and reactive skin. Everything makes it red and it’s very dry. This oil not only smells incredible, but it’s so gentle and makes me look like a glowing goddess! I get so many compliments on how amazing my skin looks and I only have this and the Aesop serum on.

It does wonders and I like it better now over using lotions! Highly recommend!.

Fabulous indeed! I was recommended this oil for my congested skin, which made no sense to me at the time- I was very reluctant to use an oil on my combination, acne prone skin but wow this is a game changer! It literally works over night to help relieve any congestion.

I love how versatile this oil is- you can use it by itself or blend it with a serum or moisturiser, and it even works wonderfully as a primer for makeup. Highly recommend!.

I’ve been on a mission to try and convert to clean skin are produce while using up what I currently have in my vanity and Ósea has been on my radar for quite some time. I love face oils and actually find them to work my oily acne prone skin.

I get hormonal and stress acne but find that oils help combat the dry skin from potential interactions with anti acne treatments. The biggest con is the price. $36 for a small rollerball facial oil that is best meant for travel or to throw in your purse or makeup bag is too much.

However, since the brand is very clean, and committed to making eco friendly and conscious skincare, I can see why it would cost that much. First off, smells amazing! Reminds me of eucalyptus but ingredients are geranium, macadamia, jojoba, and lavender so the scent is very relaxing when used at night (like I do).

It rolls on a good amount of oil and blends nicely into my skin, and I’ve even used it with my Gua Shua tool. It’s basically fatty acids for skin which helps plump and smooth fine lines, which at 38, I’m all about.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this product in terms of ingredients, scent, quality, and benefits. I can’t say it helps with long term reduction of fine lines because I haven’t used it that long but can say my skin does have a nice glow when I use this.

However, I’m still on the fence about buying again based on the size and price 🤔.

I can’t even tell you how much of a game changer this one product has been for my skin. I’m obsessed with all of their products but this one in particular is the only product you would ever need. All moisturizers clog and congest my pores.

This is like a barrier that protects my pores and keeps them clean and regulated. It has changed my coloring. This one product basically saved my hypersensitive skin for the past 3 years. I never let myself run out.

Dry skin is my issue. I think it’s versatile for any skin type. Obsessed! Hands down my favorite product ever.

She wondered if I would want to try the foot cream or bug repellent, since she was placing an order. I did, but I began reading Nicole’s details explaining many of the products. Ultimately, I also decided to try the Argan Face Oil, pretty much based on what Nicole had written about the ingredients.

I’m an old guy who grew up near Southern California beaches, lived in multiple other states loving the outdoors, and have spent the past 21 years in the Arizona desert. I have always loved fresh air, sun and heat.

Over 7 decades I have used numerous face and body creams, mainly preferring pure aloe vera jell. The Yellow Bird Argan Face Oil impressed me after about two days. For years now, I’ve been using clean beauty products from a company I was paying an arm and a leg for. I was content with the results. However, I soon discovered Yellow Bird and decided to take a chance.

Needless to say that my skin is looking AMAZING. The Argan Face Oil is just the nourishment that my skin needed. My skin is plump and glowing…fine lines have faded. I’m in love.

I was given this as part of a gift set, so l thought l would give it ago and mix up my skincare regimen. I’ve not used a facial oil before so wasn’t sure what to expect. I was very surprised that it is light weigh and is non greasy after applied.

Easy to use and it absorbs fairly quickly into my skin. I don’t think I’ve used it for long enough to see much difference with regards to it helping with fine lines and wrinkles. But it does leave my skin feeling nice and soft.

It’s meant to be used both morning and night as part of your skincare routine. But I’ve opted to use this just in the evening before bed, followed by my night cream. If l had drier skin l would probably use it twice a day as it recommended, as I think this product is targeted more to individuals with dry skin.

I’m undecided if l will purchase again, but after looking up the price and comparing the cost to other facial oils it seems reasonable.

I really enjoy this product. I have gone through two bottles and I swear my skin never looks better when I use it. I hadn’t used it in months, due to switching up my skincare routine. I was noticing my skin was pretty bumpy and my rosacea was much more apparent.

Literally, after three days of using this, I noticed a huge change in my skin. My skin felt so smooth and I saw a decrease in the redness of my cheeks. I have now been using it for almost a month and my skin looks so healthy! The first time I bought this I bought it randomly and it’s probably the best purchase I have made in a long time.

I went into Boots for a skin test which to my surprise found that it wasn’t lacking in moisture as I had always thought, but in oil balance so I purchased this. I have used Clarins lotus oil previously but I feel this suits my skin a lot better.

I’m dreadful for being seduced by good advertising & always looking for the perfect product but this is one of the few that I will be sticking with long term – love it!.

My son has had ongoing trouble with eczema on his face since he was born, but after only 3-4 nights of using this product everything has calmed down significantly. His skin is now much less irritated and smoother.

We only a use a few drops each night, and only before bedtime, due to the floral, lemony fragrance (which is very pleasant, but not one he’s keen to be associated with as a 10 year old boy!). This product is now an integral part of his bedtime routine.

I purchased this Manuka oil over the queen’s birthday weekend since it was on special to try it out on my son’s dry, itchy and flaky skin especially around his neck and on his face. Just within a few days I see a significant improvement on his skin.

My skin needs extra hydration during winter and this oil has been a great addition to my nighttime routine. It has also been a lovely multitasker for my lips and hands.

This was the first time using the Rose oil. I have found it to be marvelous. My face is so soft and has a fresher look. I only bought it for the rose smell, so was I surprised. I have recently been receiving more compliments how I don’t look my age so I’m very happy.

I just purchased more, and I also bought the Rose body oil as I tried the rose facial oil that was left on my hands (after using on my face) on my forearms. Excellent results as well. I love this stuff and I love the fragrance.

This product from Badger is wonderful! It is light, I use it morning and night after washing my face with a quality soap, spray on a gentle toner then on damp skin apply Rose Oil, pat it on gently with fingertips, it’ll absorb and your skin will thank you.

Ok I feel SUPER strongly about my love for this product. It is my holy grail facial oil, will never be beat, #1 favourite must have face oil. I have super dry, sensitive skin and I’ve tried every facial oil in the book (e.

g. , , , the list goes on) and this by far takes the cake in terms of results and price – I could not love this oil any more. PROS: – Amazingly moisturizing and nourishing for the skin – I get redness, eczema, dermatitis, hormonal acne, the works, and this soothes my skin, makes it feel supple and hydrated, and feels so comfortable on the skin.

– This products actually helps reduce my skin irritation!!! I didn’t think it was possible but my skin feels and looks less irritated with regular use of this. – Super neutral smell, for anyone who doesn’t like super scented products.

– AMAZING price for the value – this works as well and in my opinion better than the highest end face oils on the market for a very reasonable price. CONS: – This is a face oil, so you do need to spend a little bit of time rubbing it in to the skin so it absorbs.

– The packaging isn’t super easy to travel with – That’s it there’s no more cons this product is that good. If you need a new face oil and want something that will soothe and nourish your skin and leave you glowing (I swear this product also helps minimize my acne) TRY THIS ASAP.

I’ve always been skeptical about facial oils, because I thought they’d clog my pores and cause breakouts. Plus, I hate that greasy feeling. I’ve noticed facial oils becoming very popular, and this one seemed like it was meant to target dryness and irritation.

Let me start by saying, I have VERY sensitive skin, prone to redness and inflammation. I have to be very careful with makeup and skincare products. Not only did this stuff not trigger any further irritation.

BUT it treated and calmed down the redness and irritation I already had! I am so excited and happy that this product worked so well for me. It had no greasy feel. It didn’t make my face look like a greasy mess.

It was not heavy and my skin just drank it right up! I was intimidated by the price tag at first, but it really doesn’t take much at all, and I think a bottle will last a long time! I’ve heard of people mixing a few drops with other skincare products, but I like to just drop it right onto my face, massage into the skin and let it absorb.

Here’s how I use it: gentle foaming cleanser, radiance pad, dry oil, skin smoothie moisturizer in the AM, and I use the intense hydration cream as a moisturizer at night. This routine I’ve been doing using all FAB products has given me soft, soothed, glowing skin.

But I really do think this oil has made the biggest difference in healing the redness and inflammation. Its my secret weapon and I hope FAB never discontinues it! I have searched SO long for a skincare product that works like this stuff does.

This oil is disappointing. First, the smell is not at all what I’d expected. It’s very fake/synthetic, which is a problem for me. Next, there’s no “slip” feeling that you get from a luxurious oil. This is a dry oil, but if you’re looking for the typical oil feel than this isn’t for you.

Finally, I like the packaging with a darker colored glass bottle but my dropper is defective – it only pulls a little product for dispensing. I would not purchase this product again. Using it on my feet until it’s gone.

Side note – I’m a FAB junkie. My desert island product is the Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum which I can’t live without.

And after finishing up one bottle, I can say that this facial oil provides right amount of hydration, feels lightweight and non-greasy on skin resulting improved skin texture over time.

My skin didn’t breakout at all while using this. I love this product so much. I always prefer using it before applying my foundation for extra hydration and easy blending. A must try from The Oils of Life range.

So I tried this a few years ago with the matching toner and night cream, I loved it! I could see my smile line lessening. It wasn’t straight away after about a month or two of use I looked in the mirror and saw the difference, my skin looked 🤩 I turn 40 in a few months and my partner knows I’m freaking out a bit and bought me this back in December, I was so happy, now I can’t see the difference.

This is a good product, smells amazing, heavy texture though, but I have very dry skin! For some one with oily skin I would be cautious about this. I think this is great in your 30’s but now I might need something with a bit more umff 🤣 I will probably still use the oil, but changing the moisturiser and toner.

I’ve been using this oil since almost 2 years and it was one of my favorite acquisitions. I used that product after cleaning my face and exfoliate, and the skin turned a lit bit dry but then I put this oil and makes a big difference.

No matter if our skin is oiled or not because everyone need this product. I use by night and in the morning I wake up with very soft skin. I really recommend. Mine is finishing, I need to buy a new one.

This is by far one of the best oils I’ve ever used. I have extremely bad acne, so bad that I am on 3 different medications for my acne that were given to me by my dermatologist. I usually cannot miss doses because if I do, I’ll wake up with at least 5 new breakouts in the morning.

I was so tired of having cystic acne and being so reliant on my medications. If I miss doses, my cystic acne comes back full force and it really started wearing on my self esteem (and my pockets because my medications are very expensive as well).

Initially when I got this oil, I started just washing my face and putting this oil on at night instead of my gels and creams, and it changed my skin drastically. I honestly could never go a day without my medications without having full on breakouts because of missed doses.

With this oil, my skin looks brighter, less irritated, and I stopped having breakouts (cystic breakouts and small breakouts) if I missed doses altogether. Because of this, i thought I’d test out the oil by itself I stopped taking my medications since it looks like this alone might actually work for me.

I’m obsessed with this oil. Yes it’s pricey but it’s worth it and lasts a long time! A little goes a long way. I wear this under makeup and it’s makes my skin look flawless and hydrated. This Chicago cold wind does damage to my skin and this oil is forever going to be in my life! Also use at night and wake up with plump skin.

I love this. I’d buy this over the magic cream. Honestly you can add this oil to any moisturizer and it takes hydration to another level.

Upon 1st applicatio of oil my face began to itch terribly. I use tretinoin nightly. I did not apply the oil in those nights. Not only did I itch but I had layers of skin rolling of my face. I thought maybe that’s a good thing.

Ya know dead skin exfoliation. But it never stopped & the itching got worse. As if my face was in some weird constant healing state (texture & tone unchanged granted I didn’t use for long due to the above.

It’s also packed w/essential oils & has fragrance. We all know those are “no-no’s” & totally unnecessary in this day & age in skincare!!.
