20 Best Oil For Hair Breakage (2022 Updated)

Disclaimer: I received this hair oil for free from Influenster and Verb in exchange for my honest review. I’ve never used hair oil treatments before. My hair is however, dry, damaged, I have dry scalp, and split ends.

It needs some extra care basically lol My husband’s hair is worse than mine. I had us both try this oil out. and we really liked it! The smell isn’t too bad, packaging is cute and it comes with a dropper which makes application super easy.

My husband applied this before taking a shower (as a pretreatment) and after using this oil his hair feels so healthy! He doesn’t have any flakes where before he had huge flakes and just some really bad scalp issues.

We aren’t sure but this oil did help. I noticed a difference in his hair and my hair feels much better too. I approve!! I highly recommend this product if you are like me and your hair is dry/damaged and if you have dry scalp.

Just make sure you don’t use a whole dropper on your hair or you’ll have tons of tangles to comb out 😉 #styledwithverb #complimentary.

I received a complementary bottle of Verb Moringa + Jojoba Hair Treatment Oil from Influenster. I I was unsure how I would feel about this product because I’ve never used hair oils prior. My scalp is usually dry or itchy and I have tons of fly aways.

I always get recommendations to get Keratin treatments to tame and moisturize my hair. I’m really glad I tried this product. I first applied about 5 drops to my damp hair prior to wash. My hair is really full and coarse.

The formula is dense and took some time to disperse through my hair. I let it sit in my hair for about 5 minutes and washed with shampoo. I then applied about 3-4 drops to my conditioner and combed it through.

I let it sit in my hair for about 7 minutes and rinsed. After rinsing my hair texture felt weird and almost dried out. I dried my hair like I normally do, with a microfiber hair towel. When my hair was fully dry it felt soft and smooth.

Fast forward 2 days later and it still feels smooth!.

I truly have no idea how this has as many good reviews as it does. I have very curly hair that breaks often. This caused my scalp to have a buildup of wax like material that would get under my nails when I scratched my head (because of course it made it itch).

That has NEVER happened to me before, I felt so disgusting. It has a strange smell and just didn’t do anything for me at all, I wanted to like it so bad but it’s awful. It made my scalp so gross. Don’t buy, Mielle rosemary scalp & hair strengthening oil worked so much better for me and smells amazing.

I know the description says “oil”, but this is over greasy. I purchased it to use as a hair “moisturizer”. This product left my hair feeling greasy and oily. When I touch my hair, I get oil all over my hands, which means, whatever my hair is touching is getting oily also.

It says it can be used as a body oil also. For that purpose I may use it to put in my bath water. However, I have the feeling it is going to leave my tub greasy so that may just kill it for the whole product.

I cannot say who I would recommend this for or what hair type because I don’t see this being useful for anyones hair type. But, if you feel ok, then go for it. One great thing was that it didn’t cost much.

I purchased this oil by chance one day and have not looked back since then. I use it on my child’s hair as well as my own and we enjoy the results, our hair appears shinier and smells so good. As far as growth factor goes, I cant be too honest if it works on that aspect because we both have pretty decent hair length prior to use and really just needed an oil that will keep our hair moisturized and this oil does it for us.

I mix it with peppermint oil just for a kick of tingly sensation. I can barely find it in the stores whether at Walmart or other stores, I always find one in stock or out of stock so I just ordered it on here.

Shipping came fast I would say I wish Walmart put the oil in its own baggie when shipping because when I opened the box the top was twisted just a little bit (but there is a seal covering the oil so it doesn’t spill but even with that I think another precaution step should be taken because you never know).

I would purchase again without hesitation.

Another staple in my hair care routine is this lovely beauty. This has helped sooo much with my growth. Helps my dry hair, keeps her moisturized and satisfied. Lol. I love the way it soothes my scalp.

And it smellls soooo good. Excellent as an hot oil treatment as well. I use this daily. It’s my go to forever lol You can also use this on your body as well. I highly recommend oil.

I have mid to long layered, highlighted blonde hair. In the winter especially, I struggle with very dry ends and frizz. My hair maintenance involves trying to heal these ends while dealing with an oily scalp and this is not easy.

Thankfully, I have a lot of hair because it is very fine. This product has strengthened my hair – less breakage in my hair utensils and shower drain. It doesn’t make my scalp oily or my hair oily and it doesn’t weigh my hair down.

I divide my hair up after towel drying, put a small amount on my fingers rub between two hands with a splash of water (hair so dry in spots) and run it through about 3/4 of hair strands (from shaft to ends).

Usually need two small dollops for my hair length (shoulder and bit longer). I can feel my hair smile and it lets me know by styling easier. Now, Kiehls you just have to keep it in stock!.

For some reason, the bottle for this product is made of hard, translucent green plastic. In my experience, this is unlike any other Kiehl’s product — the packaging in everthing else is great (other than in the Age Defender Power Serum with a pump bottle you never get all the product out of).

The top is a pop-up squeeze delivery top, very standard. Same, for example, as on the men’s Facial Fuel Energizing Face Wash. No problem there. But the Face Wash has a soft plastic bottle, so you can squeeze the stuff out through the top.

The Strengthening and Hydrating Hair Oil-in-Cream, this product, by contrast, has a HARD plastic bottle. Really hard. You can’t squeeze it. You have to unscrew the top, then hit the bottom like a bottle of catsup.

Ridiculous. It’s impossible to know how this mistake has been made, nor can I find any interest in the company in fixing it, having reported it before. If someone at Kiehl’s reading this would simply requisition a bottle of Strengthening and Hydrating Hair Oil-in-Cream and try squeezing it, they’d see instantly what a mistake the bottle is and they’d understand perfectly.

A complete mystery why the company won’t address this. Really disappointing. They seem very happy to waste our time letting us tell them these things and not rectifying them. Sorry for the unpleasant comment.

Such a good company making such a needless mistake on a good product.

I have used this product for years now, and would not like to replace it. I have a head full of very curly hair, and I use this moisturizer on wet and dry hair, fresh and old hair, curly or straightened hair.

I believe that is gives the perfect about of shine and hair support without weighing it down. I have stopped my search and I hope to never need to look for another.

Good for hair. nails. I dont use it in my hair but my daughter does. I use it for my nails and it helps my nails grow and makes my cuticles stay moisturized. This product is fabulous and can be found at the dollar store!! Careful.

a lil bit goes a long way.

I absolutely love the whole via line! I own 3 various oils shea butter, peppermint olive oil which I have found the shea butter peppermint is extremely good for hair skin particularly mine. Unfortunately I suffer from dry scalp IT IS HORRIBLE.

Honestly its not as bad hair is shiny the olive oil is great for dry roughh hands. A little higher price tag, but in my opnion So VERY Worth It! VIA Natural Ultra Care Shea Butter Oil Concentrated Natural Oil 1.

This product is a part of my weekly routine, no matter the style I have in at the time. I use it on my ends when I have a silk-press, I use it on my braids, and I use it when I’m rocking my curls. It’s extremely lightweight.

It doesn’t clog my pores on my scalp nor face. Its smells amazing. It absorbs really quickly and doesn’t sit on top of the hair. It has definitely helped me to retain the moisture in my hair and retain length.

My ends have stopped breaking and I have less shedding when coming out of a protective style. This is my go-to oil.

I love all their products. Long story short, freshly braided hair was extremely tight, I started my pro long oil and my hair grew within days. I have to take my hair down due to new growth.

The oil is light and moisturizing! My hair feels soft and has movement and body. It use this with my natural curls and when my hair is straightened, I have low density and usually when I use oils I get a heavy greasy look but this oil just gives shine and a healthy glow! Everything on this site is worth every penny EVERYTHING!!.

Wonderful product. I’m now using the three products together and I have really been pleased with the results. I have very long hair and being over 60 (I can’t believe that one) presents unique challenges.

My hair has always been on the fine side and now it’s very fragile. The Lolavie line greatly helps in reducing tangles and hair loss while adding moisture without a greasy weigh down. The new oil adds a wonderful bounce and body to my hair! I’ve also noticed that skipping a shampoo is ok because my hair looks better 2-3 days out.

I am 51 years old, I have very long hair and have always had a “routine” to take care of it. I’ve noticed the last four years the my hair has been changing (aging!) and saw the praise for the Lolavie Detangler, what a game changer! So then, my 15 year old son was looking for a light leave in conditioner for his hair, so we got that, and we BOTH love it! So of course, when I saw the Lightweight Hair Oil, I was curious, what is this for??? I have very straight long hair, I do get frizzies though when I’ve had it in a pony tail or bun, mid day from dry air in San Diego.

This product is awesome! Smooths the Frizzes away, my hair is soft and smooth. Highly recommend! Even if you are a skeptic! You MUST try!.

I use this on me and my daughter hair and I love this product I love all of them this is a very good brand I’ve been using this product on my daughter hair ever since about age 3 in a half 4yrs old and she is now 12yrs old with a head full of healthy hair her hair is naturally kinky and this product works miracles it makes it so soft and manageable and shiny ! it conditions her scalp so we’ll ! this is definitely a must have in my house conditioner.

Everytime I order this it comes damaged. This needs to be shipped in a better box. This has to be my 4th one that’s busted and product is EVERYWHERE. Will be ordering from Amazon next time. Love the product itself.

I was surprised at the thin consistency of this leave in conditioner because I wanted it to be thick as I have used Blue Majic products before. But to my surprise, it conditioned my hair so well that it felt almost baby soft.

I, later on, tried it on my 11-year-olds’ spiral fluffy hair to detangle and condition the tangles that bind so easily. It so beautifully detangled and I can see more of the beauty of my son’s lustrous curls.
