I have dandruff and split ends problem so I purchased this oil. The main thing why I wasn’t using any kind of oil was that I go to work everyday and giving oil n leaving overnight used to make my hair oily and with shampoo rinse the oil won’t go off.

But THIS SHAMPOO IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. It also reduced my drandruff after the 1st application itself. PROS: 1. lightweight 2. Doesn’t make our face oily too after application 3. Rinse of easily 4. Works for reducing drandruff and split ends.

5. Gave shine to my hair.

This product is affordable compared to other castor oil/hair growth oils on sights like Amazon. I personally like the scent of oil as well. I apply to my part and massage into a scalp and roots 2 hours before washing hair.

There is many good uses for the castor oil. However, as any oil if it gets on your phone or hands you have to make sure you wash it.

The smell is A M A Z I N G! Used it on my hands right after a manicure. Used it in my hair and elbows. I would recommend adding to a deep conditioner, moisturizer or lotion. It is greasy but there are ways to manage that.

I rubbed on my skin right after a shower and instant skin of the gods. Not sure as to the effects of edge growth. As I took this from my bestie to use it for myself. But she said her edges are growing after 2 weeks.

I am so glad I came across this product at Marshall’s as it was only $4. 99. This product has benefited my hair greatly as I have itchy dry scalp and trying to grow out my hair. Peppermint oil will help reduce dry scalp by hydrating the hair and stimulating hair growth.

I have more finer straight Asian hair and I find using a lot of this product can make it greasy so I just use a small amount on the roots and tip of my hair. It makes a great de-tangler as I am combing out my locks.

I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long.

My hair is easily weighed down, doesn’t hold texture, doesn’t hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out.

I can’t even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I’ve always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape.

On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too.

Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn’t have the weight and texture that make my hair limp.

It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don’t know if I’d try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don’t know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.

My always dry hair became very damaged from a combo of highlighting and overly hot heat tools. I bought this in the large size in an attempt to help heal my life over-processed locks. It did nothing at all to change the condition of my hair.

I have worked hard on restoring my hair’s health. Though this product was for me a waste of money (and it isn’t cheap!), I was able to help myself by massaging simple canola oil into my hair and scalp a couple of times per week, by cutting off the frazzled ends and reducing my shampooing to not more than once weekly, and by lowering the temperature of my heat tools, which I also only use once weekly.

The canola oil has worked really well. The day I do it my hair does look oily, which is a very rare look for me! If I need to I will use a little Moroccanoil dry shampoo for light hair, which helps. This treatment oil probably works well for less damaged hair but really did not help mine at all.

The canola oil has no fragrance, is vastly less expensive, and has helped me tremendously. I do love the fragrance of these Moroccanoil products, though! I may buy the dry shampoo again just to apply sparingly when I give myself a canola oil treatment, but I will not buy the treatment oil ever again.

If you have hair like mine – dry, coarse and damaged, you too may find a simpler and less costly solution. It’s worth a try, no?.

I originally got this as a free sample for my birthday, but I loved it so much that I had to buy another bottle once that one ran out. I don’t think I’d go back to not using it. I think I mainly started using it for facial hair after learning that oils help get makeup off of it so your beard doesn’t look weirdly powdery after putting on makeup.

Then I figured I’d try this on my facial hair and see how that goes, and though I’m not sure how well it’s working for use with makeup, it’s definitely great for making hair soft! I’m transitioning and on hormones, and initially I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about growing a beard or even keeping one, but it just feels like a normal part of my face now, and being able to keep the hair soft and not pokey definitely made a difference in deciding to keep it.

It also smells good (kind of a marshmallow scent?), and the smell isn’t overwhelming while wearing a mask. Overall, absolutely love this product, and despite how small the bottle is, it lasts quite a long time even with daily use.

This feels great on the scalp. I used it for my daughter and I before doing braids. It made my scalp feel refreshed and nourished, and the effect lasts a while. I also use it when my scalp is itchy but it’s not a wash day.

My only complaint is that it’s going fast. Recommended.

It’s very light and aborbs well, so it doesn’t create a greasy-scalp feeling. The scent is a little medicinal, but it dissipates quickly. The dropper makes it very easy to apply.

This was my first time trying Khadi and Ayurvedic hair product. I followed the instructions and only put three pumps in my hair (even though it seemed my hair could use more), covered it with a towel and let it marinate for 2 hours.

I washed with Khadi Shining Shikakai shampoo. I got worried because my wet hair didn’t seem soft when wet, so I added a pump of oil as a leave on. I let it air dry (my hair is thick/corse, curly but more wavy now) Once dry, my hair was incredibly soft and started to regain some curl and shine.

I kept adding oil every morning to revive the shine and curl and got compliment on my hair. I live in a very dry place (Utah) so my hair needs lots of moisture. I’m very happy with this product. There is a fragrance to the oil which not necessarily my favorite but I have gotten compliment on the smell as well! So far so good.

The second time I kept the oil on for 4 hours, and put a pump as a leave on and so far haven’t needed to add anymore, it seem to regain it’s shine. It looks and feels great. Again the hair is very soft, which is amazing given my coarse texture and dry conditions here.

I think this product will continue to build up and help my hair the more I use it.

I was so excited to try Khadi’s Ayurvedic ‘Rose Repair’ Hair Oil since they have a great business model for adopting a more natural lifestyle. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected allergic reaction to this hair product and it was very difficult to wash out of my hair.

The texture was lovely and I imagine it would have been very nutritive addition to my hair. However, the smell of wet cardboard was in competition with the rose scent so I’m glad I wasn’t able to use it more than once.

Such a shame because I LOVE ROSES. I grow them and make teas, etc. so I’m not sure why this oil affected me so strongly. I wish the packaging and pump bottle were more earth friendly. Is the outer box actually necessary? I’m hoping to try other Khadi Ayurvedic oils- but I won’t even be re-gifting this Rose Failure.

I admit I haven’t used a hair oil like this before and the only time I had an oil massaged into my scalp was before a haircut at a beauty school. I remember being very pleased with the way that felt and loved the smell.

With this, I had to do it myself. It felt good but not the same as someone else doing it. The smell is okay. The first time I used it, I waited about an hour before washing it out. The second time I used it, I waited a couple hours.

The third and fourth time, I basically waited 8-9 hours. My hair is feeling nice and I look forward to applying this before washing. I’m having to learn from others and try different things to see if I get better results like putting it on wet v.

dry, sleeping with it on, wrapping it in a towel, etc. I’m not sure what works best but will continue to experiment. It does require some planning ahead and making sure I have time to wash it out before going somewhere.

I am reordering this amazing oil. I can’t tell how much is left in my first bottle but I don’t want to get caught without any so I would rather be safe than sorry. I have used this morning and night since my purchase.

I am not sure how long that is but probably 3-4 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised how much body it gave my very thin, fine and limp hair. With all the oils listed in the ingredients I was truly shocked it didn’t add oil to my hair but it has only made my hair seem fuller.

I can’t testify to hair growth because I don’t believe it has been long enough since I started using it to make that call. It actually does seem to be different in length but I will withhold judgement for a few more weeks.

In the meantime I will just order a couple more bottles!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI like the smell (light herbs), ingredients, quality, and overall product I dislike how much the yellow bottle itch but mix it with another oil (ex coconut/castor/Doo gro) and it goes away On wash days.

Add to clean scalp after wash massage it in and also add to hair before styling it will stay moisturized for days! Now i can do more than twist or braids on wash days 🙌🏾 Add a few drops to your shampoo/conditioner/leave in I wish i knew how to properly use it years ago when i first heard of it.

But i wasn’t consistent and so no results 👎🏾 I also wish i bought it in bulks from the start i would have saved a lot of money I got 6 pack for $34 (Amazon) that’s less that $6 a bottle! Will last me for years!!! Take away: be consistent, also products that smell strong usually always work best.

I recently dyed my hair so my curls are giving 4A/4B. Many people will say that this hair oil doesn’t work or they did not see results from it but personally I have been taking photos of my hair when I was a “hair color virgin“, before I started dying my hair and when I first died my hair I took pictures of its natural growth rate between day one and day 28.

Months down the line I was using the oil after re-dying my hair again for a lighter color and I tracked the progress and it was safe to say that because of the oil and me consistently using it that my hair growth was a lot faster with using it then it was naturally.

It is possible to say that I am on bottle number three or four, it lasts a very long time!.

What i do ( there is no one right way) is i part my hair into sections starting at the front of the head and making a part down the middle.

Then i just keep going applying the oil onto the parts getting it as good as i can onto my scalp and rubbing in. I also will rub my scalp very well and rigorously rubbing the oil in good. This oil is NOT thick at all.

A little medicinal smell, but i enjoy the smell and am used to it by now. Do this a few times a week, as best as suits your self. I sleep with mine on. You will be surprised to notice a big difference in as little as a month 😊😊 i have bought this as a staple in my household for years now and its great for children as well.

Plz do not be fooled and look at this product and think that since it an oil that only certain backgrounds can use it. No sweetie, i am a white woman who just happens to have 5 black children shes raised and this oil is great for my hair and my kids hair.

Also even if you dont stay in the houselike me after using this oil, its VERY light weight and easy. Not thick and messy at all and a little will go a long ways. I also use this after my shower and hair washing.

After i towel dry my hair i take some of this in my hand and also some pure 100% unprocessed Castro oil ( $13 a bottle every month i purchase on Amazon. com) you surely dont need to use both either. Wild growth is a Great product and can certainly stand up alone and do the job.

After towel drying the hair gently i just rub this oil good into my ends and up and down the hair shaft with wherever is left on my hands. Experiment with this product please if u applied to much the first time around or anything else that didn’t go perfectly.

This is a great oil. Alot of times you just need the time it takes to develop a habit that works for you and your hair. You might have to only use. 1 or 2 times a week if your hair is very very frail or thin or grease prone like mine.

Remember trial and error. This product is worth taking your time to see what works for you. I also use this oil for growing eyesbrows and eyelashes as well. Just apply. 😊.

I just started using this product. So far so good. I will post my results after a few weeks. What I can say is that it is easy to apply the oil. I spread it around and then brush my hair. Afterwards I use a dry shampoo because it does make my hair a bit greasy.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! I got it for free in a recent Voxbox and tried it twice and I flat out refuse to use it again. I have fairly dry skin and the second I this on my skin it set my scalp on fire. I was instantly scrabbling to wash it out! I looked at the ingredients and THIS IS AN ALCOHOL BASED PRODUCT.

It’s also full of acids, silicones, and parfum. Also, despite being branded “with castor oil”, it is the last ingredient on the ingredients list. Basically, a bunch if crap that is TERRIBLE for your skin/scalp.

I’ll say it again; for the love of god, DO NOT BUY THIS.

I was pretty skeptical, But after trying it I noticed my hair actually is getting a bit longer (currently about 25inches from scalp- nearly to my naval). I used to suffer with it falling out or breaking off and I don’t anymore.

I barely use about a quarter size in my palm, rub it all over my hands and then gently put it in the length of my hair, toward the ends. A little bit on my scalp only from what I had just placed onto my hair.

So in other words, very very little. I wrap it up into a bun. I’m losing way less hair in my brush! And it’s breaking off less. After brushing my hair over the bathroom sink I used to have to clean the sink because of the amount of hair I left.

I don’t really need to anymore, but I still do out of habit. I’ve also noticed that this oil doesn’t weigh my hair down as bad as coconut oil alone. So I can put this oil in my hair and not put it up and it doesn’t look greasy.

If I do that though, I have to use a very tiny amount. Also, I’ve tried hair jazz and cel which was expensive and it did kind of work but this works better. I’m also taking a daily vitamin called gem and that may be helping.

I received the product thursday used it today. My 1st impression as i applied it to my hair it immediately made my hair super soft. I only left it in my hair for 2 hours. I tried detangling with it in the shower and I needed my qhemet detangling ghee instead.

I rinsed the conditioner out and proceeded with my shampoo. terressentials lemon coast clay wash. btw this is the only shampoo i use for my hair. Proceeded with Curls Gelee Gel to lock in my wash and go.

no extra oils or anything else. What i can tell after 1 use is frizz reduction for me. The definition in my hair is definitely on point but i usually get pretty good definition. Overall I would say my hair is shining and frizzy is miminum.

I am going to come back with more feedback for my hair. I also wanted to say i did use the makeup brush for application. It works just fine as long as you section your hair for our texture. if not get you a droplet tip to reach the scalp.

also i normally use kinky curl gel instead of curls but I was out so i used what I had on hand. I am going to give this product a weekly try and come back with updates. I am looking to moisturize my hair because since coloring it i notice dryness.

I have been using this oil 1X/week overnight for about 3 months and have nothing but wonderful things to say & wonderful results. Since I moved from the west coast to the mid-west in 2014 my scalp has been dry off and on and I haven’t been able to get it back into balance.

In the short time I have been using this oil, it has basically eliminated any sign of dry scalp and itching, has made my hair really soft and easier to style. It doesn’t weigh my hair down like other products have and I don’t need to use conditioner or wash it as much.

I was so hesitant to try this product and I’m so glad I took a chance on it! My hair is on the thinner side so I’m normally anxious to put any type of oil in it because I don’t like it weighed down and God forbid it look oily.

I noticed my hair was shedding everywhere and didn’t know what to do. I saw this while we were on vacation 2 yrs ago and bought it. My husband and I have been using this ever since. After I shower and brush my hair (separated into two parts) I smooth a little more than a dime size amount on each part focusing on my roots and ends.

The smell is so delightful that when I am done, I rub the rest into my hands and cuticles. This small bottle lasts for about 6 months or so and I hear my husband complaining less about finding my hair everywhere.

I purchased ‘Healthy Hair Oil’ in March 2017, it’s been 5 months since. I have really bad hair fall problem and noticeable thinning. After using this oil for about 2 month, I saw no difference. Even I tried over night oiling and washing next morning with pure Herbal Castile soap/shampoo.

Nothing worked. I applied the oil on my daughter’s hair during her summer vacation. This oil has made her hair soft, it is growing faster. Even my daughter said all of her friends asked her ‘how did you grow your hair so long over the vacation.

‘ I massage about 2tbsp oil gently on her scalp and hair once or twice a week, leave it overnight or minimum 2-3 hours before washing her hair. She had long and healthy hair before but her hair was not growing this fast I think.

I believe it’s ‘Healthy Hair Oil’ that is helping in fast hair growth. I would say “This oil helps in maintaining healthy hair and use it if you want to grow strong-long hair. It’s good quality product but expensive.

Although my hair gets Seasame seed oil daily, This oil works much better. After menapause the ends of my dry hair were looking ratty. I have long hair. After short term use it didn’t make my hair look youthful again, but it did help sustantially.

I’m going to buy a bigger bottle next time. I will also recommend it to others. I also like the smell. It is very earthy.

This magic oil has been nothing but a blessing to my home, along with all of my other products from Ecoroots. My husband and I suffered from bad dandruff prior to the all-natural product switch as well as itchy scalp and major hair-loss for myself.

Fabulous! When I get out of the shower my hair is squeaky clean. That translates to frizzy curly hair for me. I have shoulder length curly hair and I love this product. I simply scrunch dry my hair, bend over with my hair down, put three or four drops of oil in my hands and rub them together.

Then I run my fingers through my hair all over. My fingers do not tangle in the hair and the hair dries beautifully silky.

I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair, and this oil works wonders. It makes my hair so soft. It’s got a light scent, but not overpowering at all. I was afraid it would make my hair oily, but as long as you only use a small amount, it does not look or feel oily at all.

A fantastic oil, beautiful consistency and the smell! Oh my goodness. I bought this oil for my self I have European hair but suffering thinning due to fibromyalgia, also for my daughter who has mixed afro hair, about a 3c and b type.

It has created excellent shine and fullness for both of us and brought her curls out so well. I use the LOC method and the quality is great for her hair without the feeling of weighing it down. I started using a couple of drops of this oil when I received it as a leave in (my hair absorbs oil right away) and I didn’t want to review it until I use it as a deep treatment, which I just did. I put it on for 3 hours and washed it out with Rahua shampoo and conditioner.

My hair is so so beautifully soft! If you have curly/wavy hair this might be the product for you. I’m also obsessed with the smell. I’ve been using this and going out actually and my hair smells beautiful as it moves.

I’ve used this many times before so definitely not a newbie to it. It’s a great product, leaves my thick wavy hair feeling lush and brings shine and softness back into my hair. Really worth it, the ingredients list is really beneficial for hair grow and conditioning.

I think it should be a ritual for everyone to oil their hair weekly at least, I know I’ve grown up doing it being asian, but if you want ‘hair goals’ then definitely use this as a treatment, overnight treatment even.
