I have used GTX for years in my MG until they reduced the zinc which is needed for the old design valve lifters. I started using GTX in my ’99 Acura RL which has almost 300k miles. It was beginning to smoke with a leading synthetic oil but the GTX eliminated the smoke and it will go 4,000 miles between oil changes without using a complete quart.

I had a smog test coming up for my ’85 bimmer (engine swapped) and needed to change the oil prior to the test. I searched around and found the Castrol 10w-40 on Amazon first. I was all set to order and then checked the shipping date.

It said it wouldn’t arrive for another month! So I thought, why not check Walmart just in case. Little did I know that they had just launched their two day shipping program and would get me the oil just in time.

I placed my order and received the oil on the expected date. Plus, I passed the smog test the next day! Can’t recommend this new two day shipping program enough.

good oil at a great price but FDX always leaves out packages at our mailbox which is 1/2 mile from the house. They leave them out in the rain and where they could be stolen. I wish WMT would use another delivery service.

I believe in proper maintenance, but have a problem using the prescribed KTM recommended Motul because of the extremely high cost vs the relatively low seasonal mileage I put on the bike. I’ve used this Maxima in two other LC8 bikes with no I’ll effects.

That said, I don’t track the bike, or really beat on the engine. No need to really, given my fondness for my license.

Just installed a Rekluse CX in my 2017 Husky 350 /KTM motor. I’m a frequent maintenance type owner. I’ve used BelRay ester synthetic, Torco T4 in it before. Good oils for sure but this is the first oil that I could feel easier shifting.

It meets KTM, Husky and Rekluse standards-JASO MA for wet clutch trans. Not only does it cost less than the others. It quieter and shifts better. -m-2017 HUSQVARNA–.

I have used this in my sport bikes and four wheelers. In my sport bikes it worked great. Engines seemed to run smooth, and the clutches loved it. I have a 2014 Honda foreman that stays in the mud. I was running Honda oil since it was new.

It has right at 900 miles on it at this point. I noticed that it started to smoke a little awhile back. I switched to this oil on the last oil change and it has stopped smoking. I think the valve seals were starting to leak.

I did notice that when I made the switch the engine ran smoother. The last time I went to ride it I was at an event at red creek off road. My friend has the same four wheeler and uses Honda oil. His radiator fan ran a lot and I noticed that my fan did not run as much as it did with the Honda oil.

I can’t say enough about this stuff.

I always like to start with the one star reviews when purchasing anything over $1k. For the most part on this site it seems as though those reviews are one off type issues with many having nothing to do with the integrity of the generator.

I bought my Honda at Camping World about 4 years ago to use in the discovery, set up and operation of a mining claim l work 8 months of the year. We keep it covered against sun, rain and snow but it’s still outdoors.

The first year I carried it on my quad, frequently using it to power lights, power tools, water pumps as well as a coffee pot, hot plate and radio. It has never let me down. Once, a defective ratchet strap that was holding the generator on my quad broke and when I slowed to take a corner the generator was thrown into the curve tumbling end over end about 20 feet.

Picked it up, dusted it off and it started right up. I’ve worn grooves into the plastic housing around the pull cord starting the generator from every angle possible and usually starting on the first pull.

That said, the pull cord is all I’ve had to replace in terms of parts. In 4+ years I’ve changed the oil 3 times which consisted of emptying it out and putting fresh oil in. I use conventional 30wt oil from Honda.

I continue to clean the original air filter twice a year. During the off season the generator powers our 32ft travel trailer with no issues. It isn’t big enough to run the AC although it once helped to run it when I purchased the Predetor 2000 from Harbor Freight along with the kit to run them parallel.

The Honda has outlasted the Predetor, a dual fuel Champion and is currently backing up a Predetor 6500 which really only runs the AC or my large shop air compressor. This generator is a fantastic product that is reliable enough to provide consistent power under the worst conditions whenever needed.

Smartly used, ie LED lights and low wattage appliances and tools and the less than one gallon of gas will last almost 9 hours. Use the eco feature and half load and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how well it does.

This little generator is what I expected. It starts easily, is pretty quiet and it’s easy to carry. I also appreciate that you can cut off fuel from the fuel tank, but continue to let the engine run until the fuel in the carburetor has been used up.

But. the crankcase breather heater kit (which I purchased separately and is necessary to operate the unit in cold weather) was more difficult to install than I had expected. Seems like Honda should either a) provide the breather heater pre-installed, b) make it easier to install or c) revise their design so that the breather tube won’t ice up in cold weather.

One more minor complaint: The oil fill neck is almost horizontal. This means that only a tiny amount of oil needs to be added between the point where oil is just visible at the far end of the neck and when it is overflowing out the neck.

I suggest Honda make the oil fill neck a little more vertical. That would give you a little more time to stop adding oil before it overflows. But maybe that’s just me, though.

I just spent 2 weeks deer hunting in a canvas wall tent using the Honda EU2200i. All I can say is if you can afford it, you will not regret buying it. I absolutely love it for the ease of starting, quiet operation, fuel economy, and reliability.

My best acquisition for both camping/hunting and our frequent storms here in Louisiana. Why run a noisy 8hp generator sucking 5 gls of gas a night when I can run a room window AC on this for less than a gallon? Easy to convince your wife that this purchase isn’t for deer season, it’s really for those nasty storms that take out power when she needs that blow drier for her hair in the morning, or so she can have a quiet night’s sleep with a window air conditioner keeping things cool.

If she complains about cost, tell her after a storm with no electricity for a week or month, she can turn it off if she still thinks it was too expensive and you will sell it. That will never happen, trust me.

Enough said…except get you one guys!.

The ONLY oil i use in my briggs engines. My last mower ( 22 hp briggs) ran without a problem for 16 years and burned 0 oil. Now i have a briggs 24 hp mower and only use briggs oil.

Exactly what is recommended for my Poulan snow blower. Best to use what they recommend and the synthetics are great for engine

The price is a little high but the quality is outstanding. I’ll never use anything else.

IšverstiShow in original languageExcellent synthetic oil. Most auto manufactures recommend 5W-30 oil only because they do not know where that vehicle will be operated. Areas with brutal winter temperatures like the northern states require a lighter 5W oil.

This is not the case in the south where temperatures only require a 10W weight oil. 5W weight oil is to thin for engines operated in milder climates as in the southern states. Unless you operate your vehicle in extreme cold, use 10W-30, you can’t go wrong.

Better yet, if you operate your vehicle in consistent mild climates, a staight weight oil like 30 weight will give more reliable protection without the viscosity enhancers which can break down leaving the oil’s viscosity at its lowest point.

In example, 10W-40 can break down to a staight 10 weight oil.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have always used Castrol motor oils in my vehicles. When I purchased my 2014 Chevy Impala 3. 6L V6, a directed engine that requires synthetic oil type, I tried Castrol Edge.

Normally you are required to change your oil at 3,000 miles. The factory specifications calls for 5w-30 but I chose to go slightly thicker with 10w-30 because of the extreme Texas heat. After pulling the dip stick around this point the oil hasn’t really changed color and the reading was still full.

I didn’t change the oil just yet. Then so on I performed only weekly checks to ensure the levels were normal. I was able to go 6340 miles on this oil change and I noticed less oil burn off. I was amazed.

My engine performs excellent under extreme temperatures and runs quiet. I would definitely recommend this oil to anyone. This product is a MONEY saver!!!! The price for the quality, extended protection, and the power when you need it is A1!!! Do not cheap out with a good oil for your engine, it is not worth it!!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI’m not mechanical and purchased this based on other reviews. I added it to my Westinghouse WGen9500DF 12,500/9,500-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator. I ran my generator after Ida and had no problems.

I’ll used this oil because I do know that STP has been around for a very long time and has always been the oil of choice back in the days.

But when got home and look at are generator it takes 2 stroke oil with gas.

lt is now much easier to start on the first pull every time.

Great product. Great price. I can barely get M1 much cheaper then this Generac oil. Plus no worry about using car oil in the 20kw generator. Generac oil, so if anything goes wrong. I’m using they’re stuff.

At this price, why chance anything else?!? Also showed up very fast, even wife commented on how quick.

Generator shipped to Michigan with 30w mineral oil. Manual clearly states that oil is not suitable for cold climates. Replaced it with all temp 5w-30 Generac oil. The factory oil I drained looked clean but putrid after minimal use.

Whatever oil you use, I suggest getting the factory oil out promptly. Remember to check valve lash at 25 hours run time. Clearance is tight and if not maintained you could burn valve or seat.

Bought this product to maintain the Generac Warranty on my 22kw whole house generator. The oil is a little pricey with the cost of shipping but a friend and I split the case. I was very pleased with the purchase.

It arrive quickly and in tact. Would buy from this seller again.

If there’s a better company for motorcycle lubricants, I don’t know of it. Others may be AS GOOD; unlikely better. My confidence in Bel Ray products goes back to when I used only Bel Ray oils and filter oil in my 1977 Maico 400 Adolf Weil Replica.

And I did the same with my 1979 Husky 250CR and 1982 430CR. I sleep well knowing that my engine is “in good hands” with Bel Ray and frequent oil changes.

Been using BelRay synthetic oils for over 100hrs on my son’s 2017 KTM 85sx. Split the case on the gear box only to find the gears and fork shifter looked to be in mint condition. No noticeable wear only any major parts except a couple of washers that had the bluing rubbed off.

Started using Bel Ray this season after doing a little bit of research on oil. Bel Ray seems to help the bike shift smooth and doesn’t break down as fast as other oil that Ive tried. Bel Ray makes high quality oil for a good price.

Gets the job done. Good quality for good price. There is higher quality fluids for higher prices but this is all you need for an everyday vehicle

I always want the best lubricant for my turbocharged Honda PWCs. I have been using this oil throughout their life and never had any problems.

There’s no doubt, I have been using this Castrol Edge Synthetic Oil for many years in my European & American cars also in my 1961 Jeep Willys… cutting Edge Technology to the highest levels .

Best oil – probably lasts lots of miles however shifting starts to degrade at 3k so just change it out like Dino oil. It’s getting prohibitively expensive.

A good, reliable and available synthetic 4T oil in the required 10W-50 grade range . Newer high performance bikes require oil specs that this product meets .

First time using this oil in my car and what a difference. They engine feels smoother than it’s ever been in the 80,000 miles I’ve put on the vehicle. Have to pay attention the speed odometer now as I don’t feel the engine anymore.

Trusted quality with clear information on the label. Too bad it was only available in quart size. Would like to have it in five quarts jug.

The latest model of Hybrid uses 0W16 oil. Eu always use Mobile oil and when they came out with 0W16 i was so happy. My opinion, Mobil oil is better than Toyota oil

Frankly, I am not quite sure what to think of this product. I had been using another 4T engine oil for my bike and always felt the smooth gear shifting. However, not with the Castrol Actevo 4T 10W-40 Synthetic oil.

I will only determine its usefulness and quality in time.
