Great buttery flavor and no melting required. Our Buttery Oil can be used two ways. You may use it to pop popcorn or use it to top your popcorn after you pop it. You may use it to pop popcorn or use it to top your popcorn after you pop it.
Great buttery flavor and no melting required. Weight: 9 lbs.
We love the taste of this popcor n oil. We store it in the bottom cabinet of our kitchen. It’s about half gone now and when I went to refill our little bottle, the buttery oil was SEPARATED. It has clump in it.
I’m not sure how, if possible, to fix it. I called the 800 #, but they were at a loss too. Any help out there?.
Unfortunately, in my quest to find an actual butter-tasting popcorn topping, I’ll have to keep looking. I was hoping this would fit the bill, but instead, it’s only another very mild, oily-tasting topping.
To my palate at least, it tastes like straight canola oil with a slight butter aroma, and a hint of fishy taste. And now I have a gallon jug of the stuff to sit next to the gallon jug of Super-Kist II.
Yay. For now, I’ll go back to Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn topping until I can find a new candidate in my popcorn topping quest.
WTF? WTF? WTF? I bought this under the assumption that it was good, by it’s reviews. It is only butter flavored oil, for cooking. This taste nothing like the buttery topping you’d use in the theatres.
I’m thoroughly disappointed that I purchased a gallon of this oil. It’s a total waste of my money.
If you want great popcorn, coconut oil is one of the keys. The 3 key ingredients to making theater style popcorn are: great popcorn, buttery salt and this coconut oil. This is the same oil that theaters use in commercial popcorn poppers.
First time buying popcorn oil, and it’s okay. I find that because it’s a solid, it’s sorta hard to measure out for the popcorn maker. Also, the taste is alright, but does seem a little fake but it works well, doesn’t burn, and when used with flavacol, it tastes like movie theatre popcorn.
It’s not bad, but I do think, that next time I need popcorn oil, I’d get one that’s a liquid so it’s easier to use.
Taste great. The coconut oil burns better than the regular oils. Makes the popcorn look and taste like real movie theatre popcorn. Popcorn is a good snack for diabetic.
I use this oil when I make popcorn in my Whirlypop, it works great and has a good flavor. The only downfall of ordering this is that it melted when it shipped (because coconut oil melts when it heats up) and got all over the shipping box so it was big mess.
Franklin’s Gourmet Popcorn’s Butter Flavored Coconut Oil is the key to the best movie theater popping corn at home. There is no better fat on the planet for making popcorn than coconut oil. This is the BEST for making popcorn in my popper AND in the microwave. It gives the popcorn that yummy movie theatre butter-liciousness! It has a wonderful flavor and while making the popcorn taste better, doesn’t make it all greasy and gross like that nasty fake oil liquid stuff.
And this size of jar is bound to last for quite some time, even for someone like me who makes popcorn frequently.
We got this with the popcorn packs and were definitely excited to find this as a separate product of its own. Not only is this good for popcorn, but will definitely use for other cooking frying in place of butter or margarine.
Keep in mind, coconut oil is solid until 70(some odd) degrees (76 maybe?), so it very well may arrive in soft solid, semi-solid, or liquid state depending on your current climate.

Who knew that liquid gold could taste this good?! If I’m being honest, it took us a while to decide on which Butter Flavored Topping we should use for our companies’ products. After experimenting with different butters and oils on said products we decided to go with good old Louana Butter Flavored Topping.
We are constantly getting compliments when serving our popcorn with this topping, such a great product!.
LouAna 1 Gallon Butter Flavored Topping tastes great. It actually tastes like butter and is not overwhelming in terms of saltiness like the popcorn topping you get at the movies. Also, it’s thicker than many of its competitors, which makes its longevity a bit greater, due to the flavor / coverage ratio.
This product was such a great value I couldn’t pass it up. I pay more then have if what this gallon of LouAna butter flavored topping at my local market. I use it in my Commercial popcorn machine and it gives the popcorn a wonderful buttery flavor.

Get great theater-quality taste with clean cooking coconut oil. Makes golden, better tasting popcorn – appetizing in flavor and aroma! It’s quick, neat and sanitary with no waste and does not require refrigeration.
Always use three parts corn to one part oil, too much oil will ruin the taste of the popcorn. The type of oil that you use will affect the taste of the popcorn. Coconut popping oil most popular. It normally is regarded as the best tasting and has long been a staple at most movie theaters.
Yields approximately 128 fluid ounces. Recommended Storage: 40° F–70° F.
I could tell by looking at this oil and comparing by that alone to others I’ve tried that this was either going to be a big flop for a pop or a popping success. This oil is definitely thicker. Other oils are clearly see through and lack the flavor condensed into this jug.
After popping and then tasting the first run using this oil I was overwhelmed by the buttery flavor that that was visible by the coloration left on these kernels. It is definitely the best I have tasted in quite awhile.
My advice is that if you have a business it would definitely behoove you to switch to this oil. Not only for the flavor packed in every mouthful but as you can tell by it’s name its Canola Oil which means it is the healthiest oil you can consume.
This isn’t a heart attack in a bag like it would be if you used other oils such as Peanut Oil. It’s heart healthy and extremely flavorful. I can not emphasize that enough. Fla-Vor-Ful. You will not regret trying this oil for yourself.
Classic Blend Popping Oil is a combination of premium coconut oil and quality corn oil. This 7. 5 oz Classic Blend Popping Oil produces popcorn that is loaded with flavor and color. It has all the smell and taste characteristics of coconut popping oil and best of all it is liquid and pour-able at room temperature!.
Orville Redenbacher’s Popping & Topping Buttery Flavored Oil is the perfect complement to our whole grain popcorn kernels. Grab your hot air popper or stovetop popcorn popper, and make a popcorn snack in a jiffy.
And it’s not just for popping—add a delicious drizzle to any popcorn snack for even more buttery flavor! Orville Redenbacher’s is the only leading brand of microwave popcorn with no artificial preservatives, flavors, or dyes in all of our products.
This butter-flavored oil belongs in your pantry so you can pop up a delicious snack and pretend like you’re at the movie theater any time you want. Plus, our natural kernels and this rich, buttery oil are the perfect way to add a pop of fun to everyday occasions, like after-school snack time.
Okay, so I worked this tasteless grease into at least fake butter. Where do I begin, while after being bombed by kernels from the new popcorn maker, I thought joy was on the way. WRONG! To the makers of this, stop it.
Work on it! I did! I got a formula that works and I am happy now with numerous personal touches from my gourmet arsenal. But my goodness, where is the goodness, MAN! You should be ashamed of yourself for this butterless oil.
However, I know you are not. In any case, I wish my review could be butter(error on purpose). To buyers, if you just want to do as they have done, use oil and color it. That is easier if you are trying to tell yourself a lie about it because of the name.
I am an Orville lover, but this one could make me breakup with him.
I love popcorn and I always found this brand of popcorn was quality! Tonight I popped microwave popcorn and I emptied the bag and it was more kernals than popped corn. So I tried another bag and got the same thing.
There was not enough popcorn to share or even fill a bowl and it was almost 75% kernals. This is not ok! Please fix this.
So I like that its healthier then butter for you, though the taste is definitely bland in comparison to butter by leaps and bounds. If I didnt put salt on my popcorn it would seem strange a oily popcorn but something about it with the salt works.
This is what I didnt work and I hope someone see this and makes the change cause quite frankly it makes sense. Getting the oil on the popcorn was a major pain its a very thin oil so it drips a lot and the top is trash for pouring.
So I took one of those oil spray bottles with the finger pump action and put the oil in that now it gots on my popcorn even and doesnt make a mess.
Paragon’s clean cooking coconut oil. Makes golden popcorn. Better tasting in flavor and aroma. Does not require refrigeration. This non-hydrogenated coconut oil is refined, bleached, and deodorized (RBD) and possesses properties that make it unique among edible oils.
It has a high concentration of medium chain triglycerides consisting mostly of short chain fatty acids and is solid below and liquid above room temperature (melt point range 75-81 degrees Fahrenheit).
76 degrees Fahrenheit coconut oil is highly stable against oxidation and is frequently used in applications where long shelf life is desired. Its low viscosity imparts less greasy mouth feel when compared to other edible oils.
This oil is non-GMO, trans fat free and considered non-allergenic.
This is the perfect amount if you make popcorn a couple of times a week. You don’t need to buy the big 5 gallon containers or use the store “imitation” popcorn oil. Popcorn looks great with that movie theater taste to it.
I usually portion and freeze it in ice cube trays, it makes it easier when making popcorn, you just drop in a few oil cubes into the kettle, less messy.
This oil is a little pricier than other oils I’ve used in the past, but it is worth the money. The flavor it provides is delicious and very similar to that you’d find in a movie theater (without that artificial taste to it).
It also gives your popcorn a nice yellow tint that people are used to. The oil itself is solid at room temperature and is very difficult to scoop out with the plastic scoop that was provided with my 8oz popper.
However, I found that using a thumb press food disher (ice-cream scoop) worked well. The metal easily digs into the oil while the push button deposits it easily into your popper. This site carries many different size scoops for extremely cheap.
Do yourself a favor and add one to your cart when you purchase this oil.
This is the oil you need for that actual movie theater taste youve been craving. Product is in a solid form which creates a bit more of a mess with prep but the end result is worth the extra hassle.
Orville’s Butter Flavor Popping & Topping Oil in a 16 ounce bottle gives popcorn a rich, buttery taste. Can be used as a popping oil or a buttery flavored topping.
My husband thought I messed up by not purchasing coconut oil for the popcorn. He was wrong. Again, it was because I checked the reviews. O. R. Popping Buttery Oil was quite 5asty in our new popcorn maker.
All kernels popped perfectly. So I guess hubs was wrong this time. LOL! Trust the reviews here. The OR Oil arrived on time, and in perfect condition. I failed to look at the price for two bottles. What is with the pricing? Almost $10 more for a second bottle? Something is amiss here.

Snappy popcorn is a third-generation family business that has been passionate about growing and selling popcorn since 1940. Over the years, snappy has also grown to become one of the largest concessions Dealers in the country by doing things differently.
I used this in my deep fryer. It makes really crispy food. Has a ridiculously high smoke point. So high that I cant get it to smoke in my deep fryer. Doesnt transfer any flavours to the food being fried.
Doesnt turn all brown and sludgy and its far healthier than most alternative frying oils.
I use this for cooking, frozen desserts, skin and hair care, all uses for coconut oil you can think of, and I use it because it has no smell. I can’t stand the smell of coconut in my food and this works wonderfully well.
Snappy’s Coconut Oil is the secret to making movie theater popcorn in your own home. Use your favorite Snappy kernels with our golden-colored Coconut Oil to pop delicious buttery popcorn with the aroma you love and the taste you crave.
Naturally colored with beta carotene. Snappy Popcorn is a third-generation family business that has been passionate about growing and selling popcorn since 1940. Over the years, Snappy has also grown to become one of the largest concessions dealers in the country by doing things differently.
Snappy popcorn oil gives great flavor and great color. When paired with Flavacol, popcorn looks, smells, and tastes like theater popcorn. Your mileage may vary, of course, depending on your popping method/hardware, but the oil itself works wonderfully! Best popcorn oil we’ve tried so far and way more affordable than some of the others we’ve ordered.
You don’t have to use as much, and it tastes amazing. 10/10 WILL STUFF FACE WITH SNAPPY OIL POPPED POPCORN AGAIN.
The popcorn made with this oil looks great, and pops well. The popcorn is absolutely tasteless, even though it has a color like theater popcorn. I was expecting a buttery flavor, like other coconut popping oils provide.
There is no flavor of any kind in this oil. Disappointing. It looks good, though.
I used this to fry my chicken and I wasnt disappointed. I dont like popcorn, I bought this to cook with and I wish I wouldve tried it a long time ago. Whatever you use it for, you shant be disappointed I love it and will ever be out of it.
I bought this product on-line because my local club has been out of popping oil for the last 6 months (poorly run). This is a new oil that I had not tried previously. I would have liked to try one gallon before buying four but now that we have it, it has done an excellent job of popping and has a good flavor.
This costs a bit more than other popping oils, but the quality comes through in the very tasty popcorn. It actually contains coconut oil in its ingredients, and that makes a taste difference.

Have searched high and low for the right movie theater popcorn butter, this is it! I use it as a topper after making the great northern popcorn packs in our popcorn machine. This is pretty darn close to the butter in the butter dispensers at the theaters.
No more going to the movies just to bring back the popcorn. Ha! So glad to have found this!.
The product is awesome. The delivery is a head scratchier. It says it was delivered today, it was delivered 2 days ago. We live on a main road with easy access to the front porch. But for some reason is was found by the non-existent garage “door”, on the ground.
The garage is behind my house and only accessible by the back ally and driveway. So I have no idea why it was delivered there, were it could and was exposed the the elements. The box was wet and soggy.
Product was well sealed and not damaged, thankfully.
I originally bought this, when I bought a silicone popcorn popper. I was going to buy flavoured shakers but I never did. When I made the popcorn the first time I lightly drizzled some of this, I was actually quite happy that its not salty at all.
I threw away the silicone popcorn popper, and I gave my daughter this product to use with their air popperNot bad. Not a bad product at all, not Salty. And it doubles as a oil to pop popcorn in.
Everything you need to pop perfect popcorn in your Ultra 60 Special Popper. Popcorn, salt and oil are all premeasured, taking the guesswork out of preparation. Enough to make thirty-six 6-oz. kettles of popcorn.
This is the best popcorn I have bought lately. I don’t have a large popper so I have to separate it. First I pour it in a colander and separate the salt from the popcorn. Make sure you have a bowl under the colander.
Then I pour up the popcorn into jars and pour the salt into a small salt shaker I use for my popcorn salt. The oil will be hard so I melt it in a bowl of hot water. When melted, pour into a small jar.
That way you can dip out the amount you need. The oil will be solid if in a cool place. “If you have a commercial popper you will not have to divide. Also it will be more of a liquid in the summer. it is worth the trouble to me as the popcorn is a lot fresher than the popcorn in grocery stores.
If you love popcorn like I do, it will be worth the trouble.
I have a Presto oil popping popcorn maker that I have fiddle faddled with since I purchased it. Nothing I did made my popcorn turn out right. After tinkering with portions and types of oils I’ve come to the conclusion that the directions that came with that popper is WRONG!!! I used coconut oil and salt for the final test and was going to give up but it turned out like I made that popcorn in a movie theater.
This one as well but with the extra added seasoning. WOW!!! Not only does this taste like movie theater popcorn that smell you get when you walk into a movie theater smells just like this!!! Here’s the even better picture: since it’s just me I can divide this popcorn.
I keep the oil solid so I can break it in half. I pour the amount of kernels I want, then I pinched the bag so the seasoning can get out and not the kernels and ‘boom’ instant hit! It was enough popcorn to satisfy me.
I would’ve even been better off if I purchased the 4oz bags. The only thing that got me irritated is that I just purchased this and the whole box has a sell date of January 2020. I’m pretty sure it’ll last longer than that.
Very happy! I was concerned I may get some near expired product. This product was fresh, with a production approximately 30 days before my order. With that said, i now have a year before the “best by” date.
All good, as it won’t last that long. As Arnie once said, “I’ll be Baaack!”.

Corn oil is a cholesterol free food with 14g of total fat per serving. See nutrition information for fat and saturated fat content. Heart healthy – see side for information about the relationship between corn oil and heart disease.
Very limited and preliminary scientific evidence suggests that eating about 1 tbsp (16 grams) of corn oil daily may reduce the risk of heart disease due to the unsaturated fat content in corn oil. Fda concludes there is little scientific evidence supporting this claim.
To achieve this possible benefit, corn oil is to replace a similar amount of saturated fat and not increase the total number of calories you eat in a day. ACH guarantees quality. When contacting us, please include the product name, size and manufacturing date stamped on bottle.
Always out of stock. Corn yields are going for use in gasoline, which drops mpg in ALL combustion engines and increases food prices. Someone makes big bucks off of that insanity, meanwhile, it represents a huge hit to the consumer.
My favorite cooking oil. You can use this to sautee, pan fry, deep fry etc. I use this in cakes as well. Comes in a variety of sizes depending on your level of consumption. It has an affordible price tag.
I think this is the best oil. Food does not taste greasy, has a clean taste so I can taste the food without the oil flavor in the food. Clean taste is like the tasty food you get fried in restaurants.
I have tried most cooking oils (except not rated Olive Oil), this is the best for flavor in foods, in my opinion. This is the only brand I buy.
The traditional favorite for enhancing flavor and texture now comes in a butter flavored oil. Opening the container reminds you of the moment when the doors open at a movie theater and the scent of freshly buttered popcorn.
Please note: Coconut oil will be a clear liquid above room temperature; typically, the oil is white and opaque when below 76 degrees F. Choose from one or two 32 fl oz. jars.
Golden Barrel Coconut Oil is useful in many different food concoctions. My original intention was to buy it for our mini theater popcorn popper but we switched over to using it snytime we need a little oil so food doesn’t stick to the pan.
Granted it’s a healthy alternative to many other choices but note it lacks a real noticible butter flavor or much flavor at all. Like anything else if you want to look for healthy alternatives you sometimes sacrifice flavor.
That being said we will add a 1/3 tsp of buttery popcorn salt to 1 full cup unpopped popcorn. Just enough not to defeat the so called healthy purchase yet not go overboard. Melts nice & uniform plus the shelf life is great too.
YUMM-O!!!!!I’m a big popcorn connoisseur and have been searching for the PERFECT recipe for ages. I was keen on the whole Coconut Oil, clarified butter, and butter-flavored “salt” combination; which could took a bit of time in order to clarify the butter.
On a whim, I decided to purchase the Golden Barrel butter flavored coconut oil. I received my purchase this afternoon and just made a batch of popcorn on my stove top popper and the results, let me tell you, were DIVINE; w/only a little bit of Himalayan salt added.
Didn’t even need the extra clarified butter I normally use during popping nor after. Furthermore, I even used a a bit less oil than the instructions tell you to on the container. (about 2/3 what the instructions say).
I’ve used other brands of popcorn oil that are canola oils but based on the reviews decided to give this a try. As others mentioned in their reviews, the color is quite vibrant, but it gives the kernels just a nice bit of that familiar yellow coloring.
Tastes great, especially when I add the Great Western Season-It Buttery Popcorn Salt which I also purchased from Webstaurant. Although it would probably be easier to pour it, I keep it in an area that stay fairly cool year round, so it stays solid, but soft, so I just use a spoon.
Mazola Corn Oil has more cholesterol-blocking plant sterols than other cooking oils and 4x more than olive oil. Plant sterols are naturally occurring nutrients found in plants that can help block the body’s absorption of LDL (bad) cholesterol.
You can find them in fruits, vegetables, nuts and corn oil.
I love using this when I’m frying food! It keeps my household healthy and it taste good! It wasn’t expensive and definitely will buy this again but in a bigger bottle! I hope they sell it in a family size! I definitely recommend it to all!.
It is claimed this is healthier than olive oil. So. I was convinced. Now I use it. Good taste. Do any of you know? If this is healthier than olive oil. I recommend this oil totally. I like the flavor.
I love this product. It is so amazing and it works very well. I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know! Very affordable as well! I always use this and I absolutely love it! No other words can describe!.
Have used for decades, does not taint food with oil taste unlike other oils. I use for Roast Potatoes, coating foil for baking fish like salmon sides, meats like chicken breast wrapped in bacon, stir frys etc.
This oil did not have the corn taste that I had expected. It tastes like normal vegetable oil, like sunflower seed oil. It is good, but does not taste at all like corn!!
This versatile oil has a rich, buttery flavor and delivers a strong aroma, enhancing the taste of pizza crusts, breadsticks, vegetables, and popcorn. Features: Great for making popcorn Can be used in place of butter or other oils Butter flavored Non-hydrogenated Naturally trans fat free Ingredients: Soybean Oil, Natural Flavors, Tbhq And Citric Acid Added To Protect Flavor, Beta Carotene (Color).
Mmmmm! So Buttery! I love popcorn and when you love popcorn as much as me you have to have a great flavored butter. This stuff does it for me! So good!
We pop popcorn everyday for our regulars as a courtesy! Having great oil that tastes good and doesn’t make a huge mess is awesome! LouAnna is our oil of choice and we love it! Great price too!!
The best oils for making popcorn are those that have a high smoke point and are neutral in flavor. Canola oil, peanut oil, and vegetable oil are all good choices.
When it comes to choosing an oil for making popcorn, the most important factor to consider is the smoke point. The smoke point is the temperature at which the oil begins to smoke and break down. This not only affects the flavor of the popcorn, but can also be a safety hazard.
Canola oil, peanut oil, and vegetable oil all have high smoke points, making them good choices for making popcorn. However, they also have fairly neutral flavors, so they won’t interfere with the flavor of the popcorn itself.
If you’re looking for a more flavorful option, you could try using olive oil. However, olive oil has a lower smoke point, so it’s important to be careful not to overheat it.
No matter which oil you choose, be sure to pop your popcorn in a large, heavy-bottomed pot to prevent the oil from smoking and the popcorn from burning.
