20 Best Oil For Mosquito Bites (2022 Updated)

We can’t live without this. We order a new bottle every spring to get ready for the bug bites that come from living in the South! It soothes quickly. Keeps my little one from scratching and potentially breaking open the skin of a mosquito bite.

This is my personal favorite oil from your company.

My daughter has some bug bites on her arm, we couldn’t get her to stop scratching. We were shopping and a very nice lady noticed us trying to get her to stop scratching, because it was really looking bad.

She had a small roll on bottle and told us it worked. She offered us some and the results were fantastic!!!! We went on line and bought a bottle. Very pleased with the results.

I have been using this for years. It instantly stop the itching. Have used others but nothing compares to how fast the itching stops. Love that you know and can pronounce the ingredients.

I have been using StingEze for years and I absolutely love it! Mosquitoes love me and so even if I step outside for just a couple of minutes to check the grill or take the dog out, I come back in with a minimum of 4 bites and as many as 12-14 (as was the case late yesterday afternoon).

All I have to do is dab on some StingEze and rub it in really well and the itching stops and they just disappear (over a period of several minutes). I’ve even used it an hour after being bitten (the directions say within 15 minutes) and it still works (I may have to reapply once or twice).

I’ve never seen anything else like it! The only problem I’ve had the last several months is finding it in the store. Wal-Mart used to carry it in the camping supplies department but I haven’t been able to find it recently and I’m running low and getting a bit nervous.

Ever since I discovered it years ago, I can’t imagine going through the summer without it!.

My sister gave me one of these StingEze Pens some time ago and I got it out when I got some insect bites on me and I was susprized the next morning I didn’t even have a red spot where the bites were.

Usually they itch for days, so my husband wanted one too because he get bites and chiggers all the time. It really does take the itch away for the chiggers. When I went to the Walmart store I was susprized that they did not carry them in the store so I hope they will start carry them in the Richmond KY store so I don’t have to order them all the time.

Product works great as a topical anesthetic for multiple bug bites, stings, abrasions and mild burns. Works well when applied and relief from bites occurs almost immediately. Would definitely recommend.

I got bitten by yellow jackets at couple of places. Before I received this product, I was already treating it with a dermatologist prescribed ointment for skin conditions which helped it quite a bit already.

After I received it I used it only a couple of times to alleviate the persistent itching. It seemed to have helped it. My bite after this got healed up and I did not need to use anything. As such, I cannot rate it very well.

I think if I used it exclusively, it might have worked well.

I found Cutter Bite MD Insect Bite Relief to be a great help, particularly, for the healing of tick bites. Ticks seem to like me and when I get bit it turns into a sore that hurts and itches for weeks.

It’s the same with chigger bites. Anyway, I tried many different things on the bites and nothing seemed to help very much. Then I found and tried Bite MD and got great results. The bites healed up within a week or two, instead of 4-6 weeks.

This stuff is great and I recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a good remedy for tick and chigger bites.

Every bug on the planet, particularly in August, likes to bite me. Horseflies in particular cause a severe reaction and resultant swelling often requires medical intervention. The After Bite Pen is miraculous at relieving any incessant itching from insect bites.

If you have scabies and your staying up all night itching and when you wake up itching I suggest you also purchase “Tree Tea Oil” works really good. I brought it from Walmart. I just asked an employer for help.

It’s normally by the medicine for burns and etc. If you wait too long then scabies will spread and , they will hatch eggs in your skin. So, it’s very important to see a doctor. Take the m medicine he/she gives you.

But , buy more medicine online. Wash all your clothes. Don’t wear the same time twice. Wash clothes in HOT WATER only. Don’t use the same towel or face cloth twice in a row. REMEMBER that scabies is contagious.

Let close friends and family know. If you don’t treat scabies it will get worse. Immediately, take action or the itching will get worse. Do research on scabies too like how long they can live on your body and.

My husband gets the worst bites from bugs, especially from mosquitos and spiders. When he gets bitten, they turn bright red, and then get this sort of ring around them. They become extremely painful and itchy.

We’ve tried everything to relieve the itch from calamine lotion to home remedies like baking soda paste. Nothing has really come close to relieving the itch, so when i saw this product I had to get it – even just to test it out.

After Bite has been really great at relieving the itch of a bite right away. It is baking soda based, but it works a lot better, and faster than our homemade paste (maybe our baking soda is old :: shrug :: ).

I do like that it’s not a cocktail of chemicals, that we have to worry about our kids touching or getting on our hands and in our food. It’s nice that the warm weather has subsided a little, so there are far less mosquitos now, but I’m also relieved that we’ll be prepared come next summer.

After bite is a great product to have for bug bites. I use mine mostly for mosquito bites. It does stop the itch a few seconds after applying it. If you have scratch open or any cuts near the bite it does burn for a few seconds.

It does have ammonia in it and is very heavily scented. That is why I gave ot three stars instead of four. This product is also good to have on camping trips and hiking trips since it is small and compact.

For the last 4 months all I have been dealing with are bug bites when I spend any time outside. I mean if even it’s just a quick taking out the trash, I get a bug bite and notice immediately. I have tried everything over the counter and even some home remedies for these bites.

I also use it on a small patch of eczema on my hand- it has significantly more colloidal oatmeal than the other name brand eczema cream I’ve used. The eczema hasn’t gone away, but it does itch me less throughout the day.

I actually decided to try this for some super itchy, dry patches of skin I have – not bug bites. I tend to scratch them till they hurt and it makes me crazy! I have tried many things including hydrocortisone.

Hydrocortisone works, but it doesn’t moisturize very well if at all. I bought this thinking maybe it would help. It does indeed help a lot. I like it more than hydrocortisone for the itch because it moisturizes too.

It has a really nice cooling sensation that I also really like. It gives you that,”ahhhh” feeling and soothes the itch. I will be buying more of this!.

Its great. Ive used the original after bite for years and its great. I have in each room and in my pocket. The bugs love me. I have sensitive skin but the original did not bother me but I wanted to try this sensitive as its a cream easier to put on and stay where its at rather than run.

Im past 78 forgive any typos please. I put it on then cap it then use the cap to rub it in just like I do original and keeps hands from it needing to wash if you dont have to. I found aloe Vera by itself works wonders too if you dont have anything else.

Thank the company for this product. I love it! Its important to put on ASAP and get on the spot you are bit. If it gets in there good I rub and rub that spot to try and get inside that bite and most times it works better than nothing.

I bought this for the cupboard, laying in wait for my next episode of insect bite. I didn’t have long to wait. Yup, overnight, during the summer, I was bitten all round both front and back. Boy oh boy, I had about 20 bites all over! I had to get my husband to put this on the ones round the back, but, what a relief.

It was instantaneous. Oh what a relief. I can’t emphasise just how good this stuff is. I’ve tried all those preventative deterrents on the market and none are as good as this. I’m now stocking up for this year.

This product really works. A few weeks ago I was stung by a wasp and I applied Afterbite as soon as was feasibly possible. Instead of discomfort and swelling for several days, I only experienced a mild reaction around the bite site.

I believe I got my first introduction to chiggers while walking through some tall grass during a vacation in Missouri. I had about 30 bites around my ankle and it felt like it was on fire! I was considering amputation until my wife produced this little tin of bite balm she keeps in her purse.

The itch burning sensation was relieved immediately and lasted even after taking another shower. It saved me for a minute very uncomfortable plane ride home. I highly recommend this product. The small tin is very portable and there is enough for many applications.

I love this product! My reaction to bug bites, especially mosquitoes and gnats result in large welts and swelling for days along with itching. As soon as I realized I had been bitten I used the balm and the results were amazing.

Plus the normal itching didn’t occur.

Balm has a nice scent and is pretty effective at soothing the itch! The little tin is cute and portable, but the cap doesn’t always seat well – wish it screwed on for better security.

I got a mosquito bite in my dang eyebrow. As soon as I noticed I was itching I grabbed this tube and applied a pea sized bit or less. It worked so fast! Usually mosquitos make me swell up terribly and then itch of course.

This never got puffy and stopped itching very quick. I do think the time from when you’re bit to when you use it matters. I got a bite on my thigh that didn’t seem to improve with this gel. I think I applied it a couple hours later.

This product was my saving grace as a child. I used the Afterbite pen. Exercise caution and proper judgement when using on children as it has a strong smell and burns when applied. Aside from the burning it eased the itching and swelling that came with bug bites.

After Bite is a great summer “must Have”

Got this to have available as my daughter reacts to mosquito bites very quickly. She still complains that the bite hurts, but I think it’s more in her mind and not so much that it does. I’ve used it and it seems fine to me.

Possibly different pain tolerance levels or thought that I was bitten so it has to hurt and be itchy. Best bet is to use a good repellant and possibly in combination with bug repellant clothing and then you may only need this on the few times a bite does occur.

Handy size to pack in the car or with any sports gear. have one in the knapsack and one in the medicine chest at home. buy on sale for an even better deal.

Bought for camping and had to use on first day. Horseflys had a hay day chewing on me and leaving welts all over my back. Put this on and had zero itching !

This certainly refrains any bugs from biting you which is excellent! I used this travelling across spain and only got bitten once (i usually get hundreds). I would have given it 5/5 if it was slightly more moisturising as i found myself applying my usual body butter to my spots of particularly dry skin where this product didnt provide quite enough moisture.

However this was not a huge issue for me!.

Used a small bottle on my legs every night for a fortnight in Greece. I did get bitten but only a couple of times compared to the usual couple of hundred. The fragrance is actually quite pleasant. I will absolutely buy again.
