20 Best Oil For Nails Growth (2022 Updated)

This item is fantastic! My nails have always been thin and weak, and they have only recently begun to peel. Over the years, I tried a variety of products with no luck. This stuff is effective! It’s fantastic! Simply follow the instructions.

All you have to do now is rub it into your nails. It isn’t a mess. For me, it was absolutely a big thing.

I have only used this three times but noticed a difference after the second time I applied it. My nails were starting to peel again and I hated that. I am a care giver and I wash my hands so much that my nails were getting softer.

This is the best treatment I have ever used. My nails stopped peeling, feel thicker and stronger than ever. I only use before I go to bed at night. I brush each nail with a full brush and massage into the cuticle and nail.

I do NOT use this product per the instructions as I found it caused to much dryness when used daily. Once I learned to not overuse, I have significant benefit from using once a week. My process is brush oil directly on nails, allow oil to sit on the nails for a minute, then massage into the nails.

Since I do this in the evening, it allows the product to further penetrate overnight. The next morning, I apply solar oil and allow that to penetrate. I do apply my favorite nail strengthener every four days and use solar oil daily.

Its a regimen that has given me strong natural nails.

I do a lot in my life, I’m a mom, I do dishes, laundry, gardening, crafts, etc. My hands get VERY dirty, so I have to wash them probably 20+ times a day, and it makes my my nails get so weak and brittle and they’ve always been prone to chipping, breaking, etc.

I’m planning on getting another bottle to use on my feet after showers because my toe nails could use some help with cracking too! I definitely recommend this if you’ve never tried a Sally Hansen strengthener!.

I have been using this cuticle oil on and off for a few months and it has made my cuticles feel so soft. I usually brush it onto my nails cuticles in the evening. After I brush it onto my nails and cuticles I also massage the oil into that area.

I always wash it off before painting my nails. This oil does not leave my nails or cuticles overly oily. It gets absorbed into my cuticles and nail beds as I massage it over that area. After most of it is absorbed and my fingers are washed off, my nails are ready to be polished.

This product is quick and easy to apply. It only takes a little swipe on each nail to get the job done. The bottle will last for quite a while. It gives almost immediate results by softening your cuticles and smoothing your nails.

After using this product I can definitely say that my nails and cuticles look healthy and nourished. I will continue to use this product because I love the results. You don’t realize how good your nails cuticles can really look till you start using this product.

I would definitely suggest trying Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail Cuticle Oil.

I’ll start this review by saying I have weak nails. The simple act of opening a jar or a window is enough to chip them, the thumb and index nails especially prone to breakage. The wonky line on my thumbnail (see attached pic) is due to a kitchen window.

When I tried ventilating the kitchen, a crescent moon shape tore off my thumbnail like a fedora man tipping his hat “M’lady” over and over. Had to clip the split end and grow the rest out, since trimming it smooth wasn’t feasible at the time.

This is the first time in two months I’ve painted my nails. The strengthener is giving me much better luck in keeping my nails intact and kitchen ventilated, so thank you. Haven’t had a nail accident in the last week-and-a-half I’ve used this stuff.

This dries pretty fast, but not any faster than other strengtheners I’ve used. Consistency feels a tad watery and slick. My polish is lasting at least a few days longer than it did before, so this works as a decent base coat too.

Good product. Sally Hansen’s a solid brand, so no surprises there. Instructions say “2-3 coats,” but I don’t believe you need that much. One coat was enough for me.

Family classic. My grandma told my ma who told me. Within the last year, I made an effort to consistently do weekly manicures and this product is the main attraction. Gives the nicest, healthy shine to my nails while cancelling out any natural yellows.

My nails are naturally brittle but two coats of this polish helps reinforce the shape of my nails to prevent breakage. Per directions, best results are achieved if you apply a new layer everyday for 7 days (because the polish is light and prone to chipping w/o new coats).

In most cases, I apply 2 coats on a Sunday and it lasts me until Wednesday until it starts chipping. My nails have gotten the longest and healthiest they’ve ever been using this consistently. I only wish it was easier to find.

I was given this polish to restore my nails after having a gel manicure for years. I stopped for covid19, as I couldn’t justify the salon trips with a high health risk person in my household. Sadly, I was forced to let my beautifully appointed gel nail manicure grow out and disappear.

Of course what I was left with was entirely awful destroyed nails. However, after 6 weeks or so of this nail treatment as directed, my own nails were restored and in fairly good condition. I continue to use this as a base and top coat to keep my hands healthy.

dude. this system is legitimate! my nails have always been weak, and brittle, and are just dying to peel off. it’s so annoying! however, this nail serum is insane! I used this along with taking biotin and I have found that my nails are long, beautiful, strong and everything that I want in nails.

sometimes a nail will still chip or break. but I think of that as something normal rather than something like I had before! I highly recommend this and look at my picture to see how good my nails look.

I received this product as parts of boots review panel. Whist I don’t wear nail polish often (because I rock climb) when I do it is usually gel polish and my nails do get damaged so I decided to go ahead with receiving this product and some others in the same collection, although I don’t think I will consistently use them all.

The packaging is nice and classy, and the bottles feel quite substantial and like they wouldn’t break easily. The dropper application is effective and easy to use. There is a subtle but pleasant scent.

I was looking for a neutral nail polish that would add a dash of pinkish color, shine, and make my nails stronger. The tips of my nails tend to get brittle when I work with my hands (wash dishes, etc.

). Sephora was out of the nail polish I actually wanted to purchase: Deborah Lippmann Iconic Treatment-enriched Nail Polish in color P. Y. T. , so I decided to give Nailsinc a try. First, let’s talk color.

The color Beaumont Street depicted online does not look the same in life (do take a look at the pictures some reviewers have shared). In life, this color has a brown undertone which overwhelms the pink.

In different light, the color look more, or less brown. It looked okay on my pale-with-pink undertones skin only in full sunlight (this is when the color looks the lightest). I would recommend it to people with darker skin color, because I believe it would actually look pretty on them.

Second, the quality of this nail polish is subpar. For $15/a bottle, it should stay for at least 4-5 days, which wasn’t the case for me. And third, I didn’t like the way the color went on my nails. It looked like I painted my nails with acrylic paint rather than with nail polish.

Granted, I only used one coat. The second coat would’ve made the nails look better but it would’ve also made the color even more brown, which I wanted to avoid. All in all, I don’t think that this nail polish is worth its hefty price tag.

If you want to splurge, Butter London nail polish, in my opinion, is a much better purchase. P. S. One positive thing I can think of is that Nailsinc didn’t stain my nails (and I didn’t use a clear bottom coat).

I will keep looking for all-in-one-bottle product, as I dislike having to use bottom and top coats, as well as having to use two coats of color.

My skin gets dry in the winter and again to a lesser extent during the summer because of air conditioning. I purchased this cuticle oil to reduce the likelihood of my skin drying/cracking because band-aids get in the way of fingerprint scans for authentication on mobile devices and it also negatively affects my ability to type on a keyboard.

Using this cuticle oil noticeably reduced the dryness issues, and I have found that using just a drop on one finger is enough to take care of the mail bed area on both hands. Usually I will put a drop on one thumb and then spread it to my other fingers – any more and my keyboard would get oily.

This bottle (which I believe cost less than $5 USD) is going to last me a long time, so I consider this to be a very cost effective item.

I’m a long time fan of Sally Hansen’s nail products, the repair lines in particular. So I was very eager to try this hardener especially as my nails are constantly breaking and brittle. I I have never found a product that is an all round solution to this problem (yes, I am also concious that nail health can be improved by good diet and plenty of water which I would say I have/do) and although I cannot say that this is 100% the best solution, the positives out weigh the negatives significantly.

Firstly, it’s a good size and easy application brush which can easily be used on the go if you needed. The smell is fairly mild considering it’s a nail product so you’ll be pleased to not be choked with fumes! I certainly noticed a difference in nail strength after continuous use over a 3 week period.

Nails did not feel as weak as without the product and one coat was enough to last a good week even with hands enduring daily manual things such as washing, cleaning etc My only negative which is sadly a big point for me as I always like to have a little colour on my nails is that it doesn’t really work well as a base coat.

I found my nail polish to be less lasting than usual with a tendency to peel easily or chip more frequently. On occasion, some nails even had odd ridging effect on them while the product was used too.

So overall I would certainly recommend this as a wear alone product. It does seem to help nails feel stronger. But if you’re like me and you like to have some colour on top then it may not be best to use as a base coat too.

I found a beautiful blue color today and had to try it. I’m. In. Love. It went on smooth, dried quickly and has yet to chip. I know, it’s only the first 12 hours. Every other nail polish I use chips a litttttle by this point.

I don’t know how long this fairy tale will last, but I’m fine if it’s even a day. Now I know I have a go-to that I can throw on in short order and not get smudges. I will be buying every shade that is flattering with my coloring.

My nails go thru ups and downs. I’ll have 10 beautiful long nails for a couple of months and then one by one they break or split. I then just snip them all off and start over. Then I found Nail Envy.

They have grown out beautifully. a lot less ridges. I have one nail that has had a bad vertical split but it has not shown signs of the split starting so far. I use this stuff religiously 3-5 times a week working it into each nail and cuticle.

The smell is just an added bonus. I also use skin and lash envy and those results are just as amazing. Keep up the great work. I love all your products. Three years ago I broke my toe, it was black one inch under my toes! I didn’t realize the toe next to it was also affected. months later the toenail grew in cracked vertically. I kept trimming it and filing it, but it wouldn’t grow in normal.

It would constantly snag socks and bed sheets. I couldn’t cut it short enough, and polish didn’t help. I tried Nail Envy, it couldn’t hurt. Amazing, after all this time, my nail isn’t snagging anymore.

It seems to be growing out normal! I am impressed! It arrived on time, good packaging, I would highly recommend this!.

Recently removed gel polish from my fingernails, and my nails were left very dry and very thin after years of wearing the gel. I have only just started using Nail Envy but I do see results, my nails appear to have more moisture in them and they are not breaking as easily.

Delivery time was quick and the bottle size is great, I can see that it will last a considerable amount of time. The oil feels great on and smells lovely. I think that this will help to repair my nails a lot quicker than the nail cream I bought at the pharmacy.

This is the Orly Nailtrition treatment polish and it retails for $15 at Ulta. This is suppose to be a nail strengthener for peeling and splitting nails. The formula is thick, shiny, and pink. I was hoping for something more clear.

Not a deal breaker. It makes the nails appear bright and shiny. I recently wanted to take a break from getting my nails done and had the acrylic removed. My nails were peeling and thin underneath. I thought I would give this product a try and after a month, I’m really not impressed.

It did not make my nails any stronger, nor did it help them grow. The only thing I did notice was that it helped with the peeling. I would not repurchase.

I absolutely love all Orly products. Their brushes are phenomenal and make application so easy. The price point is great considering the quality of the product. As a former manicurist I can attest that this is an excellent product.

Prep your nail before you apply with a lint free cotton pad with non acetone polish remover to remove any oils that would prevent the strengthener from adhering well. Keeping a base coat under your nail color Will help strengthen your nails and ease removal when you change colors of your manicure.

It also helps prevent your nail beds from getting stained from colored polish. .

I’m ashamed to admit it, but I have bit my nails for most of my life (over 30 years now) and finally vowed to stop recently. It’s been about four weeks and I’m really hopeful that I have finally kicked the habit.

I got this stuff to help deter me from biting and to help strengthen my nails so they will grow. At first I didn’t think it was doing much other than be a deterrent, but after a couple weeks I am absolutely shocked at how strong my nails have gotten.

I used to constantly get tears in my nails, or they would peel or break, but I have not had any of those issues since I started using this stuff. They have still been slow to grow, but I’m getting there and I’m not worried they are going to break off now.

This stuff smells horrible out of the bottle and when its wet, and it does take a while to dry. Once you get a couple of coats going, it dries down to a pretty pink shimmery color that I actually really like.

I Highly Recommend this product if you need to improve the health of your nails! I also advise to cut or shape your nails often when needed to maintain good health of your nails (its like getting a trim to maintain your hair on your head healthy) and continue to moisture your hands and nails especially when you are washing and santizing your hands alot! If you dont apply moisture or seal hydration to nails, they will continue to be brittle.

I believe this is one of the best nail strengthening and growing products I will ever find. It was recommended to me by a friend when she had noticed my nails looking short and in poor condition. I used it as a base coat and never had a nail break, peel, or rip.

It’s easy to apply with a broad brush, and it magically made my nails grow a lot faster in a concise amount of time. I was so pleasantly surprised by how well it works as I have tried and tested so many products like this one, never getting the results the bottles claimed to give.

I have always known Sally Hansen to have quality nail products that work exceptionally well. A bottle will last you for many months. I highly recommend it. It saved my nails, and it’s well worth the price.

I actually did notice results while using this. I definitely bought on sale and so glad I did. I have brittle nails from changing nails so often I actually took half my thumb nail off by accidentally ripping off a glued on nail.

I purchased this and my nail grew back in about 2 months and I mean I lost almost all of my thumb nail. My nail bed was exposed. Definitely be careful with your skin. I did carefully apply to what nail I had left.

With cuticle oil. But I definitely recommend this product especially if u can get it on sale.

I have tried so many different ridge fillers, but as far I knew this the best one found. My nail ridges differs on each nail, so I do apply 3 coats and my nails feel smooth and when I apply nail polish it dries smoothly not bumpy.

You know your nail polish looks wacky not smooth which causes frustration on my part. Also I am very rough with my hands, but as everything ages so does your nails. I will order again for sure.

Had never heard of these nail products by Mavala, until they were recommended by a friend. Tracked them down on the JL website as not widely stocked elsewhere. Expensive but think will last a long time.

Nail oil easy to apply as has a fixed brush. Bought the nail cream also. A definite improvement in the appearance of my nails and not breaking so easily. Continuing to apply also on one nail that has a splitting problem, so will see how that works out over time.

Would recommend.

This product is okay to be honest, It just wasn’t a super excited product as it had many disadvantages. First disadvantage was that this product is VERY faint. as you apply multiple layers, it still comes with the same result.

It’s not a super bad product, but they’res defiantly better products.

I used to get acrylic nails done at the salon and then in 2020 when we went into quarantine I started doing my own nails and making my own press on’s. I wanted to do gel but my nails where so damaged i needed to get them in better shape before I could.

So I went to rite aid to look for strengthener’s and this is the one that really stuck out to me and I bou 2 of them. I really liked this and it looks pretty on and it does NOT turn yellow which is a problem with alot of these, also it feels nice on.

The liquid itself is nice and thick but not in anyway “goopy” it is not to thick where its a pain to apply so I really like its formula for that. When its on your nails it drys fast and the shine is nice and healthy looking.

It stays on for quite awhile. I have to admit that I replied often because I was trying to make my nails healthy so I can not speak on how often it would have stayed on if I had left if alone however It didn’t chip at all ever and I confidently can tell you that.

The only thing that I can stay about this that I dont like at all is that it doesn’t last long in the bottle before it goes bad. By bad I mean that it becomes so thic and globby and gooping that you can’t apply it and its only good for that trash bin.

i would say that i could use it maybe 5-6 times before it become unusable. Let me explain again that it was not like that before hand and I didnt get a defective bottles because i bought 2 of them and the second was the same way.

Despite all of this i would still definitely recommend this and I have to my mom and friends.

I’ve have tried Sally Henson’s Diamond Strength polish. It is a clear polish that has the typical strong chemical smell. It worked well for about a 3 to 4 days on my nails before I noticed it chipping and peeling.

Nevertheless, I did notice a break down in the polish before the end of the 7 days. This could have happened because of improper cleaning of my nails the application. The shine of the nail had a lack of luster after drying as well, it would scuff easily.

It was a result of the on the job duties that I performed at the time. But, the shine was easy to scuff. However, I did still notice a break down in the polish before 7 days. This isn’t a professional gel polish so it will not have that shine that you might be looking for.

And it will not sustain that fresh look for a long period of time but for an non professional, over the counter item it will help support your weak nail for a small period of time. So I rated this item with 3 stars.

It’s not a stellar product in my opinion but I have definitely had a lot worse. So I gave it an average rating, because of the temporary support it gives to your nail but would but advise that results may vary.

I am on the search for the best nail strengthener after a medical procedure made my nails and hair super brittle. I honestly hate doing my nails at home, but if it’s low maintenance and will help my nails, okay fine.

This is the third Sally Hansen strengthener I’ve tried, and I’d say jury is still out on which one ultimately is the best, but the diamond strength is nice! With the exception of my pinky finger, as you can see in my photo, you can barely tell where the ANC ends and my natural nail starts.

Which is a huge bonus. I also appreciate that there’s a bit of shine to this, since I’m using it alone, but could also be used as a base coat. This also dried very quickly, which is important as I’m busy and use my hands a lot.

No smudges!! As far as strength—well, I haven’t chipped my nails since my application last night, but my nails are quite short. And I try to use my nails gingerly anyway. But it does feel like they won’t immediately break if I were to pry some LEGO pieces apart right now lol!.

A friend of mine swears by this so I figured I’d try it out. I like to apply cuticle oils and creams pretty regularly throughout the day to keep my cuticles in good shape, otherwise they get raggedy and snag on things.

I started doing my own gel manicures at the start of the pandemic and also started taking better care of my hands/nails at the same time. No point in taking the time to paint your nails if you are just going to leave your cuticles a mess, right? So I’m always looking for good cuticle care products.

I have to say that I’m not really impressed by this one. My current favorite is Maccibelle Milk Honey (you can get it on Amazon) and this French Girl one is not as good, despite being a lot more expensive.

It’s not terrible; the smell is pleasant but mild, which would be good if you don’t like a lot of fragrance. It seems hydrating but takes a little longer to sink in compared to the Maccibelle. The thing I really like about the Maccibelle is how it makes my polish look super glossy and really brings out the sparkle and dimension.

I’ve only used the French Girl on bare nails so far but it did seem a little duller than the Maccibelle. I guess it remains to be seen though, I’ll try to remember to update this the next time I polish my nails.

Overall I’d say it’s fine but nothing special and because it’s so expensive ($22!!!) that’s just not acceptable.

Just scrumptious. This has been a lifesaver for my nails as a health care worker and single mom. The smell is complimentary to the scents I usually wear and not overpowering in the least. Washing my hands well over a hundred times a day I am one to develop hang nails and itchy dryness.

I have one in my pocket at all times to help heal my cuticles. The other I keep beside my hand soap at home so I remember to nourish my nails after so many washes.

I’ve have never had a problem with nail growth – but it’s been years since I’ve had – 10 natural fingernails – all the same length – at the same time. They break, crack, peel, and anything else that usually left me cutting them down to nothing.

Sometimes there wasn’t enough to scratch an itch. But applying the Moisturizing Strengthener 4 has allowed me to have – 10 natural fingernails – all the same length – at the same time. Finally, my nails are strong enough to endure my tapping at a keyboard all day long.

I happened to pick up a bottle one day while shopping. I am so happy that I did – I’ve found a winner.

Okay, here’s the situation… all my life I’ve had very thin, flimsy nails. I usually just cut them down so they wouldn’t peel off. Recently, however, I decided to try vitamins and nail treatments to counteract the weakness to help my nails grow.

I used the nailtek #4 line for awhile. They grew out but were only strong when I had the strengthener on my nails. I like the product just was expecting more results. Recently I switched to a different keratin 3 day growth formula and it has out lasted the nailtek.

In my quest for healthier nails and cuticles, I purchased this to use under my base coat and nail polish as a strengthening treatment. This definitely worked. My nails have been so strong since I started using this regularly.

I change my manicure about once a week and I apply the Nail Tek Moisturizing Strengthener underneath every other manicure because too much protein can cause nails to harden and therefore snap off when hitting something instead of bending like a healthy nail does.

This serum is easy to apply – dropper to add, rub into nails and cuticles, and let dry. It dries quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. I felt it had a positive effect on my nails. I have very slow growing, fragile nails and struggle terribly with having any length whatsoever.

I was able to actually see growth and with extra care was able to have and enjoy nails. I combined this with hardener to help my nails from ripping/tearing. I would suggest this for anyone who struggles with growth and wishes to see some white nails instead of tiny, ragged stubs.

As someone that has had a nail biting problem most of my life, this stuff is absolutely amazing. The first time I bought this stuff I wasn’t so sure it was going to work. But let me tell you, it absolutely does work.

I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has recently stopped biting their nails, or to anyone looking to strengthen/grow their nails. I used to bite them horribly/ causing them to grow uneven and be soft and always ‘rip’ off.

Now, my nails are strong, longer, and growing out evenly and I haven’t ‘ripped’ one nail. I rub this on my circles and make sure to get my entire nail on each finger. I don’t know if I LOVE the rollerball application- but I don’t dislike it.

I also use the pink tube rose oil & like that as well, I just find that this one does more for my actual nails- where as the pink one really just hydrates my cuticles!! This is now a staple in my nail care- and I use it daily or every other day!.

Holy Grail for my cuticle beds– I love the smell too. I keep this bad boy in my bedside table drawer and each morning I get excited for the ritual of smoothing it onto my fingertips– it has saved my hands from this bitter dry winter cold.

I will never go back to at home manicures without it. Even without polish, this Oil makes my hands look cleaner, younger, and more supple. I am obsessed!!!!.

Pros: portable, smells okay, works well. Cons: expensive and have used others that are cheaper and work better, the applicator is a little weird. Blossom Cuticle Oil Rose Scent worked better for me and was a much cheaper option so I will probably go with that in the future.

But I do like that this is more portable.

Within a week my nails actually improved! After a month I was very pleased. ❤️ I eventually added the Nail Tek Ridge Filler as part of the regimen of, first coat Strengthener, 2nd coat Ridge Filler and finish coat finish coat Strengthener.

I can’t expect a better outcome than with this regimen. When I slack off the bad nails resurface😡. But I reapply Nail Tek and my nails bounce right back. I heartily recommend this miracle product.

My old Pendleton tees are probably 12 years old, still thick and soft. My husband treated me to 3 new ones for Christmas. I know things change over time but I am disappointed they are simply not the cut or fabric quality I so enjoyed in the past.

I didn’t return them because they were my husband’s gift. But I will not buy anymore. I quit Eddie Bauer for the same reason several years ago.

The fabric is beautiful; I like the neckline–it isn’t scooped, but it’s comfortable and near my neck–just where it’s most “becoming” on me. But, the fit is boxy. and that’s less becoming. I have the XXS now in four colors.

I’d like to add that I appreciate greatly Pendleton’s giving the garment measurements. For this, I would award 10 stars.

This is a great product and works wonders on cuticles. Tried it with the old packaging and that spilled way too easily. This new packaging and the roller ball distribution system is better but I don’t think that it flows out well enough.

Wish they could get the packaging right because the oil is A+++++.

Has really improved dryness of cuticles. Nails look more healthy. Simple to us. Will purchase again.

I purchased two bottles of the Nail & Cuticle Oil, and I must say this is one of the best nail oils I have purchased and used. The color is true to the photo and the scent is quite pleasant – somewhat fruity.

I also liked how it’s in a transparent glass bottle! My nails are usually dry after a hot shower, so I would thinly coat my nails using this oil. After several consistent days, my nails are less dry.

It’s definitely going to be a staple product for me. The only reason why I docked 1 star off is because the bottle seems to have a design flaw where the cap does not screw on tight despite me putting all my strength in attempting to tighten it.

So a slight nudge with no effort would loosen the cap. I wish the oil could be in the same bottle used in nail polishes; at least the cap would be more secure. I’m probably going to transfer the oil into a clean nail pen or empty nail polish bottle so that I can safely carry it in a purse without any fear of the cap loosening.

My cuticles get very dry and yucky in the cold winter months. I have been using the nail and cuticle oil for about 3 weeks now and it’s a game changer! It has made a huge difference in my nails. They not only look and feel SO much nicer but I get fewer hangnails too.

I use it at night time before bed and it soaks in nicely after a few minutes. I will definitely continue to use this product, I’m hooked. Thank you 100% Pure!.

I’ve been using this cuticle oil for a few years and I love it. It’s the best on the market – the only one I have found that works on my very dry cuticles. I use it twice a day and my nails/cuticles look great.
