20 Best Oil For Salt Scrub (2022 Updated)

This is a gritty mixture of sea salt and oil for cleansing your whole body. For dry skin it is wonderful, and leaves a layer of healing oil on your skin. I have very dry skin, so I love it. I don’t know how it would work for someone who has oily skin.

The fragrance “Ocean Mist” is refreshing. It comes in other fragrances which I have never tried. To use it, I dig into the jar’s mixture and put out a small handful and rub it onto my hands and then coat/scrub my entire body and rub it in while standing out of the shower spray.

The “salt” dissolves as your rub. You use it more sparingly than you would shower gel. It’s a different experience. It’s expensive and eBay has the best price, it’s $50 from the actual website. I am very much into natural products on my skin, and this has the highest quantity ingredient as sea salt minerals, mixed with rapeseed oil (highest quantity oil), grape seed oil, and borage seed oil.

Rapeseed oil contains beta carotene, that promotes cell division also vitamin E. Borage seed oil contains a fatty acid called gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). GLA seems to have anti-inflammatory effects. Linoleic acid in Grape Seed Oil has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergen, acne reductive, and moisture retentive properties.

GSO contains 73% of linoleic acid which may be beneficial in the treatment of acne, dermatitis, allergic reactions, atopic eczema and dry and itchy skin. It has some BHT in it, but with so many natural oils, I think you have to have some preservative in there to give it any shelf life.

CI 47005 is a yellow food dye and has not been associated with any significant long-term toxicity, is not genotoxic or carcinogenic. As you can see, I have done my research into this product. Here is the actual ingredient list: DEAD SEA SALT (MARIS SAL), PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM, BRASSICA CAMPESTRIS (RAPESEED) SEED OIL, GLYCERIN, ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE, SESAMUM INDICUM (SESAME) SEED OIL, VITIS VINIFERA (GRAPE) SEED OIL, FRAGRANCE (PERFUME), BORAGO OFFICINALIS (BORAGE) SEED OIL, PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS (SWEET ALMOND) OIL, LINUM USITATISSIMUM (LINSEED) SEED OIL, ROSA CANINA FRUIT OIL, BHT, CI 47005.

My son bought a whole selection of Seacret Products when he was over sea. I have used the foot, hand, body butter, and scrub. The quality is exceptional. Living in Wisconsin during the winter can be harsh on a person’s skin.

Love this body scrub. It is most definitely worth the extra money and it goes a long way. The smell isn’t too aggressive but it leaves a clean sweet smell on your skin. Additionally it does not irritate my skin at all and otters scrubs definitely do.

Would definitely recommend adding a jar of this to your shower for a little extra self car!.

Love this! Smells great and leaves my skin soft and smooth! I recommend not applying it while directly under the water. I used a soft bristle bath brush to help massage the salts over my problem spots.

Specifically my knees and the backs on my thighs. I highly recommend if you are looking for assistance for this same problem areas.

Great exfoliant. But the consistency is not the same with each order. First order was loaded with oils. second batch I ordered was mostly salts, very dry. I will have to add oil with each use. But price was good.

I love the simple ingredients and it’s a great base to add your own additions. My only complaint is that it could be finer so it could be all all over scrub but it’s just a little too course for the face.

The Cedar Sage Herbal scent is both eye-opening and also relaxing and lingers just briefly enough to allow applying a favorite fragrance without scent competition.

My skin feels revitalized and silky soft to the touch after using this scrub. The vitacost price for this item is very reasonable which means I can afford it as a toiletry necessity, even as it feels like a luxurious indulgence.

BTW, I alternate this product with a Soothing Touch’s sugar scrub, which is just as lovely.

The lavender scent is nice and light not overpowering. I find the scrub moisturizing and effective at smoothing my skin. It’s a great product I’m sure I will order again.

I am a lover of scrubs. I love body scrubs the way they smell and the way they feel. This is a coconut mineral salt scrub and it has coconut oil and very moisturizing to the touch. It smells fantastic.

It is not too overbearing and it does not leave a heavy set on your body. It is very moisturizing but it does not leave a greasy feel when you dry off. I purchased it my local Marshalls department store.

It smells like the coconut candy you used to eat when you were a kid. I believe it was called a choco bar or something like that. You have to mix it up so that the oil can infuse with the little scrub beads.

This is a very economical product and I think you will enjoy it. If you are a person who is sensitive to scent or might be allergic to fragrance this may not be something that you would want. I will definitely repurchase this.

I love this product! It smells absolutely gorgeous, there is just the right amount of oil and the perfect texture. I’ve used it twice a week for a couple of weeks and my skin is feeling so much smoother and softer.

This is a great cheap scrub to have on hand. I love using it all over my body to exfoliate but I find it particularly useful for my legs and my feet, as my legs are prone to ingrown hairs and my feet often get dry.

I love the smell of coconut and this scrub doesnt disappoint there. It has a good deal of oils and minerals in it that moisturize and exfoliate which is nice. The only downside for me is the coconut oil rises to the top – especially when its hot.

But just give it a firm shake to mix it all up again and it’s good to go! Just one tip – IF USING IN THE SHOWER INSTEAD OF BATH BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THE COCONUT OIL CAN MAKE IT SUPER SLIPPERY!.

First impression of this salt scrub was that it was too dry for my liking. The texture is almost like lightly dampened sand. There is a light scent to it, I assume the oils that are added into it. The scent could be better, personal preference.

I put a little faith into it and was actually pretty surprised with how great it made my skin feel. I exfoliated with the salt scrub and it was like the scrub was melting as soon as it hit my skin. This was also a plus because other scrubs sometimes will leave residue or leftover scrub at the bottom of the tub until you rinse it away.

This scrub just dissolves with water (great feature for me). The grit in the scrub is not aggressive at all, it is more like a soft scrub. I prefer it to be more gritty, just a personal preference. Once out of the shower, my skin felt like butter.

It was the smoothest it had felt in such a long time. Despite my first impressions as mentioned, I was taken by surprise. I would actually buy this product again just because of how amazing it made my skin feel.

I really enjoyed this scrub. It’s nourishing but doesn’t leave a film or make you feel greasy. The little scooper that comes with it is awesome. It makes it way easier to grab a little because it’s not like other scrubs that have lots of binders.

This really feels like salt mixed with a little bit of oil. I think the size of the container is great too. It’s huge and will last a long time. Overall it really exfoliated my body and left my skin looking great.

This sea salt scrub is infused with oils, shea butter, vitamin E, and lavender, which makes for a relaxing and moisturizing experience. The lavender scent is mild and floral without being overly soapy.

The scrub itself is nice and thick, making it easy to apply as it clings to the skin nicely allowing for plenty of time to rub and massage. I’ve been using it on my legs after shaving and they are so smooth after.

The addition of shea butter has also helped my dry skin! I almost don’t need lotion after use! Word of caution though, since this is a salt scrub, it does sting a bit if you have any knicks or scratches.

STRAIGHT AWAY. i rate this 5 star because of how amazing this product actually is. This product ahs so many natural essential oils and ingredients inside it. I was blown away the first time i used. By the third time using it in a 2 week period my skin was no longer dry.

It was smooth and silky. At first my skin felt like it was in fire but afterwards it felt like my skin was how do i even find the perfect words fot this. just cool and smooth instead of rough and thats an understatement I was absolutley blown away by this product and i think you would be to.

You should definitely think about trying this product. The hand cream is great aswell.

Literally the ONLY body butter I will use. “Ocean Mist” also sounds strange to me. but should the ocean ever mist my way, I wouldn’t mind this smell at all. I like all the scents from this line. Hydration that truly lasts all day.

Now the body butter is for sure THICKER than the regular lotions. But it doesn’t feel sticky and dries fast opposed to other “body butters” I’ve used before. Even though the consistency is thick. it feels light after application.

I think it’s because it’s got less ingredients than most of the other butters.

I started using this scrub when my other one was unavailable during COVID-19. The great thing is, I like this one much better because of the silky smoothness and help with my over aggressive calluses.

This is the best salt scrub I have ever used. There is no chemical scent – it smells of fresh tangerines. The exfoliation is substantial, but not drying. Be careful in the shower due to the oil. I can’t stop smelling myself, lol! I know this will help my aging skin with the appearance of crepiness by sloughing off the old cells.

I had been looking for a body scrub and decided to give this product a try. Out of their three scents (pink Himalayan salt, lavender, and eucalyptus) I really liked the pink Himalayan one. It smells very fresh, clean and has somewhat of a grapefruit scent to me.

The eucalyptus one smells a lot like the one from Bath and Body Works but it can be a bit strong. The lavender smells good too but it smelled a bit medicinal to me. When I say that this product is good, I mean it is GOOD!! I am absolutely in love with it and have already purchased my second bottle.

You will feel a difference after the first use. My skin was left feeling very smooth, bright, and it felt very hydrated. It effectively exfoliates without being too abrasive. I also love the fact that it’s not greasy or leaves my bath tub slippery afterwards.

The other thing that make me absolutely love it is the price point. This amazing product is only $4. 87. I couldn’t believe it. I will continue to purchase this for a very long time. I’ve been using it for the last month and a half and my skin has never been softer!.

I love this stuff! I am not a person who likes the scent of coffee but there is something about using this in the shower that’s exhilarating. The grounds and olive oil combination make my skin feel awake and moisturized.

You have to really make sure you rinse everywhere extremely well because you will find grounds and that is really the only con I have about this product. I am curious if I can make this easily but it’s not expensive enough for that to be a concern.

Oh my goodness, what an absolute treat this is for the body! I gave it a little shake before opening to make sure the oils were well mixed, the scooped out a generous amount, and applied to wet skin.

It has the gorgeous signature Sanctuary smell, only more enhanced, which I found transported me off to exotic lands. The salt gives excellent exfoliation, but without being too abrasive, and the oils add instant moisture making skin glow.

I used over my whole body, the rinsed and patted dry. I couldn’t believe how amazing my skin felt! Not one patch of dry skin, no tightness and a lovely, healthy glow to boot – what’s not to love! I’ve already purchased more, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

This salt scrub is one of my favourite products in this heat! It comes in a beautiful glass pot with a wide neck for scooping, which makes it very easy to apply as well as looking lovely in the bathroom.

It’s easy to open and re-close to keep the scrub fresh. It smells lovely, and the scent lasts nicely after the scrub is washed off. My favourite thing is the exfoliation: it’s absolutely fantastic at cleaning away a body full of thick SPF50 sun cream, and leaves skin feeling smooth and hydrated, but squeaky clean.

Now at 2. 8 oz, this seemed to be a replacement to Lovett Sundries former “Styling Cream”, which I had also used, but was 4. 23 ounces for only 1-2 dollars more. The “Clay” texture is a bit less greasy, but still greasy, and too great a reduction in volume proportionate to the $16 price.

It turns out that the current “Cream Pomade” on Lovett Sundries site, at 3. 88 oz for the same price as the “Clay”, is the actual replacement of the former “Styling Cream”, described as less oily. I hope Package Free adds that Cream Pomade option soon, as well as other less pricey plastic/petroleum-free hair styling options.

Omg this stuff is incredible. I honestly have never had softer skin in my whole life! And it lasts I showered with it last night and my body still feels soft. There is a very slight oil olive smell since that is one of the ingredients but otherwise it is unscented.

Would highly recommend this product!.

The styling clay is a good product. It does not put a lot of product in your hair to make it work, which I really like. And it has a pleasant consistency. I gave it 4 starts because it does not seem to hold my style as well as a paste, but I do like the product and I like how it is packaged and how I do not have to pay extra for fancy packaging.

I will gladly purchase again.
