I would give this product 3. 5. I have semi-dry colored treated hair ( I use Igk hair dye. I have dark brown hair and try to dye it close to my natural color to hide my gray coming in) First off, it does smell nice and felt good massaged into my scalp and it is an oil as it states in the name.

The first time I tried it, I massaged to my scalp ran to my ends as indicated on the instructions. I washed it at night and I guess I didn’t wash it out well enough and my dry hair did look slightly greasy.

I must have absorbed because the next day my hair looked great. Hair was smooth and my scalp felt good. I did notice I had a lot of shedding upon rinsing it out. I decide to try it again the next week and did not put so much on my ends and I figured a would pay more attention to washing it this time (used the JVN nourishing shampoo and condition which I have used on and off in the past and like) Before I even got to shampoo, I could see massive shedding happening.

It was very upsetting and it had to be because of this product. I must be sensitive to it for whatever reason. Though when my hair dried, it was soft and it calmed some frizz. I did notice it stripped some of the color out of my hair and made it sort of a brassy color.

I was about 6 weeks out so I wasn’t overly upset but if I just dyed my hair, I would have been so beware of freshly dyed hair color being stripped. I would not recommend it you have greasy hair to begin with and would probably to a test patch on dark died hair to make sure it won’t strip it if you decide to run it through to your ends.

I did like the way this made my hair ( def helped with frizz) and scalp feel, but it is not worth the shedding that went with it for me personally. I hope this helps someone else.

I have thin, wavy hair that was recently bleached twice. Since bleaching, my hair is in a fragile/weak state. Was so glad to received this pre-wash oil along with their nourishing hair oil (I highly recommend that one as well!!!), and my hair’s condition has already improved majorly in just 2 weeks! I am now a lifetime fan! I love that it completely healed my flaking scalp, keeps my scalp nourished until the next wash day without being greasy.

The new growth of my hair looks differently than normal; looks slightly thicker with a healthy sheen to it. This observation has me believing that this scalp oil is actually transforming the health of my scalp, which in turn, is reflecting on the health of my hair! This is the main reason I want EVERYONE to give this product a try.

Healthy scalp equals healthy hair. I never heard of this brand prior, but since trying 2 of their products that blew me away, I am dying to try their other products. I cannot express enough how great this product is, and I didn’t find one downside to using this product.

I truly believe it would be great for most hair types. I would especially recommend to those with dry, itchy, problematic scalps, and those with textured and/or dry hair.

I bought this for my 15 year old daughter who has seborrheic dermatitis on her scalp. We had tried different shampoos to get rid of the severe crustiness on her scalp but nothing was working. After 2 applications of this oil, left on overnight, and massaged in really well, her scalp is almost back to normal.

From the first application, this has made my hair feel silky soft. It also smells nice, so leaving it on your hair as a mask is easy!

Hi: Two issues I’ve noticed with this product so far. I just got it and tried it on once. First, it’s lotion or cream in consistency and not an oil or liquid which means that it’s harder to get to the scalp which is what I had bought it for.

Secondly the packaging with the little narrow mouthed bottle with a pump is terrible because most of the product will not be usable. I had to pump 10 times to get it to work and seemed just inconsiderate and wasteful considering it’s expensive.

Thirdly, I did try it out once and didn’t feel any difference to my scalp but I also put it on my hair and felt that it made it drier. I like the Rahua conditioner – even though it has the same packaging issues, but given what I have experienced with this product, I will not be purchasing it again and if I had known it wasn’t liquid, I wouldn’t have purchased it at all.

I LOVE this product. After I wash my hair with the Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner, I apply the Founder’s Blend Scalp & Hair Treatment. I leave it in for about 30 minutes while my hair is wrapped with a hair towel.

It leaves my hair so shiny and my scalp is clean. The reason I use this product is because my scalp is super dry. This is the only product that helps my hair look smooth, shiny and healthy. I also like to combine the Founder’s Scalp and Hair Treatment with the wonderful Elixir Oil for a monthly hair treatment.

It is absolutely amazing and my hair just feels so good and so healthy. I would recommend this product!.

Briogeo gifted me this Briogeo Scalp Revival™ Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment in exchange for my honest opinion. I am new to the Briogeo brand but had heard many good things about it through other beauty influencers.

I love using tea tree oil for my hair because I have very oily and thin hair. When I use a tea tree oil shampoo, my hair looks so great after a wash and seems to be less oily the following days before another wash.

In fact, I’ve been able to stretch it out another day before a wash sometimes. I’m not sure if I’m misusing the Briogeo Scalp Revival™ Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment or if it just is not working for me.

The Briogeo Scalp Revival™ Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment comes in an easy to use plastic bottle with a dropper applicator. The tea tree oil scent is very strong so it may not be for everyone. The instructions say to use after shampoo and conditioner while the hair is still damp and to only use a couple droppers full on the scalp.

When I first applied the oil, it seemed impossible to tell where I had/hadn’t applied the oil other than the slight cooling and light tingling sensation I felt where I did apply it. I felt like I needed about 3 or 4 droppers full to cover my whole scalp and after massaging my scalp for what seemed like forever, I air dried my hair.

I saw a lot of little flakes and my hair was a little clumpy. I’m no sure if it was the product or dandruff. Maybe I need to use the whole hair care line or maybe I need to use it a few more times to yield better results? I’m not sure.

I have very oily hair and so far I’m finding that the Briogeo Scalp Revival™ Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment is not quite working for me. I would suggest giving it a try maybe you’ll have better results.

I use this in combination with the ‘charcoal and coconut oil micro-exfoliating shampoo’. Love the fact that both products are very natural, cruelty-free and full of good ingredients for scalp health (tea tree, biotin, spearmint etc).

I use this after using the micro-exfoliating shampoo. It is quite a small bottle – 1oz but I find if not used excessively it does last quite a long time. Psoriasis and dandruff are not something I suffer from on a daily basis, as I managed to alleviate it through an elimination diet and also the hair loss product I’m using has scalp health benefits too.

However when I run out of that or my diet goes completely haywire then I grab my jar of the exfoliating shampoo and this which makes a big difference in how quickly the symptoms disappear. The shampoo works perfectly well on its own but I find using alongside the treatment it’s just that bit more effective.

All Target stores need to have this in stock. My Target didn’t have it so I had to get it at another location in a different town. This is an incredible lifesaver! I have had chronic dry and itchy scalp my entire life and like many of the reviewers here, tried everything under the sun including dermatologist prescribed meds and nothing worked as effectively as this Royal Oils.

A few squirts and my irritation calmed down immediately! I find I only need it twice a day. I am white with wavy curly hair.

I have struggled most of my life with a dry scalp and having PCOS hasn’t helped that. I have tried so freaking many products that would give me temporary relief, but eventually my dry scalp would always appear.

I bought this along with OGX extra strength tea tree mint shampoo, but here is my review. I had recently, over the last few weeks, developed HORRIBLE dandruff. My scalp was itchy, irritated, and flaking everywhere!!! I was annoyed, uncomfortable, and having to constantly check that my dandruff wasn’t visible on my dark hair.

I tried all the classic dandruff shampoos and none worked for me. NONE. I even asked my doctor for a prescription strength version of selenium sulfide, but the price tag was almost $200 so I did not want to go through with wasting that much money.

I did some research on tea tree oil as I’ve used it for other skin conditions, and turns out it is good on dry, itchy scalp and fights fungus like dandruff. Anyway, in the shower I used my tea tree oil shampoo and scrubbed it with a silicone scrubber and then left it for 10 minutes.

After shower, I used the tea tree oil and with just that FIRST USE I had some amazing, instant, long lasting relief. I havent seen any flakes nor have I had any itchiness. I love this stuff.

I’ve tried many different products for my dry itchy scalp but always come right back to this tea tree oil. Stops the itch for days before needing to reapply and keeps scalp hydrated. I like to use it with the Argan oil hair oil serum.

refused to wash out! it definitely works to moisturize hair but i had to shampoo three times, then again the next morning with body wash twice to try and cut the oil. and it still stuck around. maybe it just wasnt meant for thin hair (tho it said ‘for all hair types’ on the back) but i will not use this again.

every other hair oil i’ve used washed out after a good scrub but this one left my hair so greasy, it’s not worth it.

This is a great oil for the hair. This promotes a healthy scalp and clean hair. I have Brown curly hair and this works really effective on my hair. It doesn’t weigh it down. This can also be used on your skin as well.

Very surprised at the quality of this brand in a good way. I usually spend about a dollar and change on this product at Walmart but I found it at a cheaper spot for just a buck. I usually spend more money on natural oils but I find that dry oils DRY my hair out.

I prefer heavier oils or greases and this oil is just right for my kinky 4c Type hair. I apply it to my damp hair and do a protective style such as twists and it just seal in moisture. I also use it on my children’s hair and it’s great.

It’s an all in one kinda product so I do also use it on my hands from time to time and I find that my hand are also more moisturized. All in all I like this and I’m glad that I tried it, I tend to shy away from cheap products but his quality was superb and I must add that it also smells great.

This changed the game for me! This provides me with THE MOST silky soft, shiny and deliciously smelling hair! Absolutely luxurious!!!! Works best with other mythic oil products. I use each time I wash my hair, once/twice per week after shampoo, applying it mid/ends of hair and I leave in for 2/3 minutes and washout then towel dry rub in the hair oil and blow dry.

DO NOT USE OVER NIGHT! I am experiencing temporary hair loss due do stress and other factors. I am desperate so I have been trying everything! Well this messed my hair up so bad I felt compelled to warn others! I used this overnight as directed to hopefully kickstart my hair for a healthier spring and instead of a stimulated scalp I ended up with stripped hair.

Days later, expensive hair masks, my best S&C and my hair is still dry and stringy and like straw all while air drying. I am devastated! This did the opposite of help.

The whole product line is phenomenal! My curls stay highdrated and I am seeing less breakage. The scalp oil is very soothing for dryness and/or itchy scalps. Plus it helps keep you scalp moisturized also.

I use mine before I get my hair colored to keep it moisturized and typically one or two times a week. Depending on your hair and scalp chemistry, you may need to use more often. I definitely recommend utilizing however works best for you.

My scalp finally feels loved and appreciated. I usually suffer from a dehydrated scalp and this oil has helped me out a lot. When I used other oils in the past it made my scalp super itchy and dry. I’m truly happy that this daily elixir scalp oil is made with natural ingredients and that it conditions and protects my hair without the oil being so heavy on my hair.

It smells great and it is light. I got it because I have developed an itchy scalp in the past two months. So far it seems to work okay for it. I am not sure if I am using it correctly or if there is a better way to cover the scalp, yet I only just got this a couple days ago, so the jury is still out.

I look forward to using it more and experimenting with how I put it on.
