20 Best Oil For Wavy Hair (2022 Updated)

Chi aloe vera oil for curly hair works as advertised. Helps tame frizz and moisturized to keep curls defined and bouncy. Chi makes a lot of different oil products and some have fragrances that are too strong for me.

This one is light and spa like. I typically don’t like cocoanut fragrance but this seems more natural and not overwhelming at all. This one has worked best for me so far in their product lines. I have frizzy fuzzy hair day 2 so can use a little on day 2 to settle hair down.

For white girl hair I have curly ends that curl quite a bit when my hair is longer. What you need to do when you have white people hair is, you need to spray one spray in your hand, rub your hands together, and run your hands from below your hair shaft to the ends like right in the middle and then run your hands through your hair from there down.

Trust me, that’s enough when you have healthy hair. I just got mine freshly trimmed so I have no idea about split hair. This is a very thick formula. My first time I sprayed a couple times and used it as like a leave-in conditioner and it was WAY TO MUCH!! BELIEVE me, this stuff is beautiful and it leaves your hair soft when YOUR HAIR DRIES! SPRAY 1 time, put it on wet hair, when you’re a white person.

I’m not sure about black hair but, definitely do this don’t spray it directly on your hair because that’s going to be too much!!! SMELLS AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL ❤️😻.

The size of this scalp oil is great, a lot of product for your buck! I have always had a dry scalp but since radiation does take a toll on your body, my scalp became drier and extremely flaky. I’m not much of an oil remedy seeker in fear that my scalp and hair would become oily.

However, this only hydrates and soothes. It has a nice fragrance to it, something not overpowering but if you’re sensitive to fragrance, skip this item. I like to spray and massage it into my hair and scalp after showering.

I like how it feels and smells but the one thing I like the most is that it doesn’t make my hair oily at all. I have noticed that my scalp doesn’t get flaky as it was before using the products from Palmer.

I definitely wouldn’t have approached this product on my own initiative since my fear of exchanging one issue for another. I’m happy I got to try this from them and that all these products are healing in a way my dry hair and scalp.

I have always been a big fan of the Palmer’s brand, using their Lotion and chapstick on a daily basis so I have so excited to try this product. With the cold winter and all of the over processing I have subject my hair too, I’ve become so concerned with how damaged my hair has become.

Most recently, I’ve noticed it falling out and being very dry, so I have very excited when I saw this product helped with hair retention. I’ve been using it for about a week and notice my how becoming softer and brighter.

This also makes my scalp feel less dry. I’ve mostly used it after a shower on damp hair, but I’ve given my hair a quick spray when getting ready and notice my hair looking a little dull. It also doesn’t leave my hair looking overly greasy.

Word of advice though- a little goes a long way, so use it sparingly and make sure you’re not getting it on any clothes or furniture because it splashes a little.

I usually try to stir clear of hair products from the drug store as they tend to dry my hair out, and make it a tangled mess. I really enjoyed this hair oil though! I’m on my 5th/6th bottle within the last couple years!! One bottle last you a few months if you use it daily as I do! Every time I wash my hair, I towel dry it, and apply a nickel sized amount of oil through my mid length to ends! It leaves my air feeling soft! I didn’t notice much of a difference in the frizz department, but I live in the south so it’s a given to have frizzy hair from the humidity! 10/10 product! Best of all it’s affordable!!.

This is the ONLY oil treatment I have ever found that doesn’t leave my hair looking greasy. The trick is to use it right out if the shower before your hair starts to dry and only use about the size of a quarter in your palm.

It smells AMAZING, but not overpowering. My boyfriend loves the scent better than any perfume I can find. I would absolutely buy this scent as a perfume if I could find it. I have hair that tangles very easily and I was never able to wear it long until I found this product.

It literally changed the way I cut and style my hair. I’m so happy I found it.

I can’t say enough good things about this product. I absolutely love the Maroc in sleek oil treatment. My hair is so dry and damaged most times from being sick and having a lot of different medications that there’s not much to do for it.

I put this in after my shower while my hair is damp and I leave it in and then I style my hair and shine unmanageability is insane it is amazing. This alone has made my hair look healthy and I didn’t think that was possible again.

I LOVE THIS DANG PRODUCT !! I tried it once and have continuously bought it because I use it pretty much daily. Leaves beautiful curls without the excessive oily residue and extremely soft. An amazing product for my dry, frizzy hair! This smells like warm, smooth coconut 🥥! Compared to alternatives, this has a VERY strong scent, so be cautious if you’re sensitive to fragrances! I would improve this product by offering this is a lighter lotion for those with thinner hair not to overdo it, however you can use less product and avoid applying to your scalp to avoid weighing your hair down.

This met all of my expectations, my hair is less frizzy and my curls have more definition. I would recommend to everyone with curly hair!.

I have really thick naturally curly hair. It is hard to maintain so for the longest time I was blowing it dry straight. Of course it takes a good 45 minutes to blow dry my hair so many days I just wear it curly to avoid the drying time and the heat damage to my hair.

I’ve tried so many different products over the years and some will hold the curl but make my hair sticky or crunchy and some just don’t do anything for the curl. I got a sample of this recently and decided to give it a shot.

It actually worked really great. I found that I don’t need too much of this and just use about a nickel size on my wet hair. Once out of the shower I put in about 3-4 drops of argan oil throughout my hair followed by a small amount of this.

I let my hair air dry and then lightly crunch my hair with my palms. I found that this helps define my curls and helps prevent frizzing. I was surprised that it takes so little to work since I have a lot of hair.

I’m definitely a fan of this and will be buying more in the future.

The hair oil is great. I have twin daughters and this product line is all I use. It doesn’t take much, I use a little bit to oil their scalp. I use the the whole childrens product line. I also use the loc line for me and my sons locs.

It’s a part of our everyday haircare routine. Listen to me when I say try this. I’ve tried so many different hair products on my twins hair that it was being stressful. But once I tried these products, that was it.

It was a hit, because my girls have totally different hair textures. One is fine and Curley and her other is thick and coarse. But believe it or not, these products work on both. I love. You won’t be disappointed.

I can’t even give a good review because I never received my products. And I’m looking forward to trying it out because I heard they were good. But I’ve emailed the company twice and I still didn’t get a response I’m very disappointed I ordered my Items on April 13th and today is April 28 and nothing.

What made me fall in love this product was today my scalp was on fire after applying Camille Rose growth serum. I used the blueberry bliss oil and baby it calmed the storm. I still support Camille Rose because I use other products from her lines and have no issues just to be clear.

But, if you have the same issue this product may work better for your scalp issue.

I tried many things including castor oil. Nothing worked. But this oil! Within a month I saw new growth and 2 months later, my growth is much fuller and healthier. The oil smells nice and its light. I think that was the key, lighter oil and rubbing in twice a day.

Definite recommend.

I definitely am a fan of this hairspray. I am particular about what I like my hair spray to smell like, especially if my hair will smell like it after using. The fragrance of this hairspray is pleasant, and something I don’t mind smelling like at all.

Goldwell definitely makes amazing high quality products, for a reasonable price. This 8. 7 oz can lasts forever, and costs roughly 15-18 dollars. It gives you brilliant strong flexible hold, no stickiness or crunchy hair.

Anti frizz, protects from humidity. Volumizing, enhances fullness and says it’s color protecting. It holds my hair style all day, all night while giving my hair the feel I want and the movement. I highly reccomend this beauty and will definitely continue using.

I have a straight up afro–which I love–but for the days I want to switch it up a bit and elongate my look, this is my go to product. My curls are real tight at the scalp and seem to loosen up toward the end of the shaft and this product works the same on both textures, tight or loose.

When I use this product, the compliments don’t stop. I use this product with Goldwell’s thermal spray serum. Both products together give me a super straight and silky, glossy look that looks so different from my natural texture that when I use these products in combination, people don’t believe it’s my own hair!.

I have very fine hair, just above shoulder length. This product makes my hair go from wavy to curly and full of body. A little goes a long way, and I use about the size of a 5 cent piece on really wet hair and spread it through.

Once dry, I kind of crunch it a little as it ‘sets’. But it’s not crunch like other products. Highly recommend. Go light first, then work out if you need more product in your hair.

After reading so many positive reviews, I decided to splurge on this product. I am glad I did because I would always wonder if that extra ten dollars it costs would be worth it in the end, so I purchased it and used it after getting my short hair highlighted.

The first thing I noticed is that it does take more product than is the suggested “few drops. ” After some trial and error, I came up with a workable amount for my hair, and that is one full pump, but bear in mind that my hair is extremely thick.

A lesser amount may work for your hair type. I had been intrigued by the promise that it shaves 40 percent off drying time, and boy, does it ever! That’s a big plus, and I imagine a huge selling point for the manufacturer.

Less blow-drying means healthier hair. However, the next day (I wash my hair daily) I woke up to a sticky feeling, which is fine because as stated, I wash my hair every day. Not sure if this would be a good product for those who wash their hair less frequently.

In summary, let it be said that this is a high-quality oil in beautiful packaging and it does live up to the hype – for the most part. Everyone’s hair is different, and you may just have to use a few drops to make dreams come true, but I did end up using more.

The end result was soft hair with much more shine and manageability than any other oil has given me. And yes, I believe it is worth the price.

I have straight to wavy hair that has been color treated once that I use heated tools on once to twice a week. My ends are a little dry but after applying this to dry hair and straightening, it is the most healthy it has ever looked.

This will replace my Paul Mitchell skinny serum for sure!.

We are a very non toxic home and I’m so very sensitive to fragrance that we Couldn’t use it because it’s overwhelmingly fragrant. It says “natural fragrance” but it gave me sinus and headache issues after one smell.

It’s a powerful vanilla and floral smell so Unfortunately we had to throw it out.

My son has extremely dry hair so I decided to test this product out. I’ve been so impressed with the results! Not only does it have a great smell, but it left my sons hair hydrated with a nice shine to it! I’ll definitely be purchasing again.

Thank you Influenster and Old Spice for making my job as hair manager of our home easier. My husband started to grow his hair out at the beginning of Covid and stay-at-home directives. We both come from multigenerational military families which both have pretty strict appearance rules.

I have known my husband since 14 and his hair has always been cut after it gets 1. 5 inches. Now it is past his shoulders after almost 2 years since his last cut. Beautiful tighter ringlets in back with the front being gently curly and very front wavy.

It is gorgeous and I am jealous. With long hair now issues have popped up like wet brushing and dry hair. He was eager to try these products. He didn’t want me to give a full report until he used it for awhile to give proper input.

His verdict is it is a winner over all the other products we have been trying for him. I love how it brought back the softness to his hair when I run my finger’s through it. He loves less fighting with tangles and the brush.

The smell is nice as a bonus. I will now be trying it on our preteen son whom has decided to grow his out too, but is in that weird stage. Maybe if we start now with these products we won’t have as many issues with his hair!.

This is just amazing for my husband’s wavy hair. He did not get a hair cut from months and his hair has gotten longer than usual. With long hair and winter months his hair is usually dry. This old spice hair moisturizer is so good.

It has the goodness of avocado oil and aloe. It is a leave on moisturizer and helps my husband to easily manage his hair. This provides hydration and moisture the hair needs in this dry winter months.

With frequent usage he has seen great difference and it’s much smoother and shiner than before. It smells great and it’s also good for frizzy hair. I infact tried it and felt that this was just great for my hair too.

Definitely a great choice and my husband will stick on to it!.

I was pretty surprised to see that old spice mad hair care now. And I was pretty skeptical about it. I was surprised though. First, the scent is nice, and not at all what I was expecting. It smells like shampoo, which is better than what old spice generally does for scent.

There would’ve been no way I could walk around smelling old spice all day lol. So don’t let the scent scare you. Otherwise, this stuff is basically like any drugstore shampoo. It’s not competing with the big dogs in hair care, so keep that in mind.

I think this would be a good option for someone who likes this price point. I won’t buy it myself, just because I’m used to some higher quality ingredients. I will keep using this though. Probably use it for vacations, that way if I leave it, I wont be sad.

From years of heat damage I thought my curls were a lost cause. I’ve minimized heat to my hair and started using more products for curly hair specifically. Influenster sent me a sample of this for free in my voxbox.

At first I was hesitant because the first time I used it, I definitely used way to much. Well I gave it another go and used it everything I showered and had washed my hair. It’s safe to my natural curls have made a full come back.

My hair is softer too, I mean look at the ingredients not to bad of I say myself. I recommend to try this if you ever have the chance. Will be buying lots more once I use up the bottle I received. A very very small amount goes a long ways so this bottle will definitely last a while.

Although I love the multi use concept, I would definitely recommend this as a scalp treatment or deep treatment not as a regular oil to moisturize your hair for everyday. At least with normal, wavy hair.

As oil, it leaves your hair looking messy. As a treatment, it does help a lot to make your hair more healthy. Also, it is sulfate free cruelty free! The packaging is nice compact. Great for traveling.

However, I do wish they changed the bottle cap to a dropper to be able to adjust how much it goes out as of now you need to be super careful to not get more product than you need.

This hair mask is not a product on Influenster yet but it’s the same brand as this hair oil which I also love! But the hair mask is amazing!! It’s sooo hydrating and smells FANTASTIC. I also feel like my hair always looks better the next day.

I’m not sure why but the smell always reminds me of Sol de Janeiro products. I have had this mask for a while and still have lots left. Recommend!!.

I put this on my hair after I wash it or when it is dry. I add it to the ends where my hair is really dry. It works! I am also working w the mask and that too is helping my curly hair. It does not leave my hair oily.

You don’t need a lot, just enough for me to place in the areas that are having a hard time. Right I am impressed enough that I will re-purchase this and the mask when I run out.

This hair oil is amazing. This oil if for curly hair but i use it on my straight hair and I love it. You can use it on dry or damp hair. I use it before straightening my hair and it works amazing it leaves you hair feeling smooth,silky, and soft.

This also smells really good so it leaves your hair smelling good. A little bit of this goes a long way.

Day 1: Super excited to try this product. I grew up with pin straight hair and it only turned wavy after having babies. I haven’t found a product that I love and that works well with my wavy hair. I really like how this product is for wavy hair, you usually can only find products for curly hair types.

After reading the directions, you can add up to 3 boosters to each of the products. I added one of each- the deep conditioning and the anti frizz to both the mask and the leave in treatment. I shampooed and conditioned as directed and left the hair mask on for 5 minutes (recommended 3-5 mins).

The smell was ok and the thickness of the cream mask was a good consistency. It wasn’t too thick (too hard to rinse out) or too thin. After rinsing it out, I was a little disappointed because my hair wasn’t as silky as I wanted it to be, or like it is after other hair masks.

I towel dried my hair and added the leave in treatment that has the 2 boosters anti frizz and deep condition. I blow dried my hair with a diffuser. My waves were amazing and full of volume! The leave in treatment didn’t leave my waves crunchy, they were soft and flowing.

Day 2: This was a non-wash day so I activated my waves with a spray bottle of water and added 2 pumps of the leave in treatment. This second day using only the leave in treatment was great. My wavy hair was full of body, great defined waves.

I was super happy. My hair was soft and smelled nice. Day 3: I used a different brand of shampoo and conditioner this time to see if I still had the great results as day 1. I still used the mask for 5 mins and the leave in treatment after towel drying my hair as well as the diffuser to blow dry.

Day 3 results weren’t as amazing from day 1. Day 4: Woke up activated my waves with a spray of water and the leave in treatment, but this wasn’t as amazing as day 2 next day hair. My hair is still super soft, but the waves aren’t as spectacular as normal.

I am going to go back to the original shampoo and conditioner for the next wash day. So far, I am pleased with the product and am excited that it is obtainable at Target at an affordable price. I like that the smell isn’t overpowering and with the extra boosters that you can add (up to three)- you can experiment with different boosters in all the products to personalize it and make it exactly for your hair care needs.

This showed up with the hair mask, and two boosters, on my doorstep with zero warning. To say I was excited is the understatement of the year! I immediately opened and smelled it. Its DIVINE! I also always check the ingredients before using any kind of hair and skincare product, and these ingredients were really comforting to me.

Originally Fubchtion of Beauty had used a ton of silicones in their customizable line, and I didnt use them at the time. That has changed though. Their new ingredients contain stuff like Vegan Squalane, Babassu oil, argan and panthenol.

All amazing ingredients, and very nourishing to the scalp as well. I had to try it on my next wash day, and it is sooo good! Amazing slip, and it does seem to help with curl formation and enhancement as well.

The amazing scent does linger, but not in such a way that it bothered my sensitive migraines. I definitely recommend trying this line. And if your hair type is different, you can try one of the other categories (straight, curly, coily).

I have wavy hair so I was sent the wavy base mask and wavy base leave-in conditioner. I was also sent the deep conditioner booster shot and anti-frizz booster shot. I did shoot a video of me mixing the booster shots into the product which will be up soon.

I was really pleasantly surprised each booster shot box had two shots as I was only expecting one. They say to open the shot, squeeze it into the product, mix, and wait a minute before putting in the next shot.

I think they said you can have 2-3 shots in a product. The first shot was a hot mess for me and I ended up getting it all over my filming board 😂 so word to the wise squeeze very gently when dispensing the product.

The other three went a lot more. #I do really enjoy the leave in conditioner. To me it has like a peach cucumber scent which I don’t mind. It’s left my hair really soft and manageable every time I’ve used it which I’m thankful for because it needs cut really bad.
