20 Best Oil Fragrance For Home (2022 Updated)

This has a very heavy cinnamon smell. Unfortunately cinnamon is a very strong smell that overtakes just about every other sent. All I can smell in this one is the cinnamon at the beginning, after some of the cinnamon has worn off it has a very lovely smell but it’s so light I can only smell it if I bring it directly up to my nose.

I think it would actually be better if it didn’t have any cinnamon. And I already have two bottles of cinnamon so this one’s kind of useless to me.

Purchased 4 of these and multiple oils. Unfortunately, this has been my only regretful purchase from Yankee Candle. I used three times as much oil than the directions state, and unless I stand right next to the diffusers I cannot smell any of the scents.

This was a rather expensive investment that I hope I can keep others from making. If you burn their candles for 5 minutes, you will already have more scent in the room than these give out during an entire cycle.

Maybe it’s just the scented oil but I don’t care for this in particular. I never bought the candle so I shouldn’t be surprised. I typically like cinnamon which is what I smell most prevalent but this just didn’t do it for me and that’s ok as there are plenty of scents that suit me at Yankee Candle.

I’ll save this for holiday.

First off, I love this scent. I pretty much have it in all the things. I’m not a lover of cashmere scents typically because they give me headaches, but this scent is so well balanced. Most diffuser oils I use I can smell them slightly in the room, but this one traveled through the house.

Granted I don’t have a large home but this scent came out of my office into the living room. I love it so much I bought a backup of it. I don’t want Yankee to ever stop making this scent. It is a great all year round comforting scent.

And for the price of this oil compared to other competitors oil, it’s a no-brainer.

I normally hate essential oil, it’s always aggressively concentrated and smells too strong. But this is pretty good. It smells good and I don’t need to use like 10 drops just to smell anything (looking at you lavender).

I generally use 100mL of water and about 4-6 drops of oil, I’m a bit nose-blind so you’ll probably need less than me. Way better than the candle cause you can just put this in a diffuser and go to sleep with it, if I could sleep with a candle that’d be great but i like my room being not on fire so the diffuser is a way better option.

I think most companies try to approximate the smell of the beach and miss the mark completely by one either making it smell to salty or to earthy. It’s a hard smell to capture, but Yankee hit the mark with this one!! It’s the perfect mix of a warm summer day and the salty, earthy smell of the ocean.

I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Strawberry is a difficult scent to capture. This is one of those fragrances where there isn’t a true essential oil available, so fragrance oils are all there is. My first impression was cough syrup, but that slowly dissipated to something more pleasant, a mixture of natural strawberry and strawberry candy, with a leftover hint of something less pleasant, a slightly plastic smell.

It’s better than some strawberry oils I’ve had in the past, but still not quite right. There are other Body Shop fragrances that are much nicer and less artificial smelling. This one just smells a bit off overall.

where good fragrance oil is as rare as civilized comments on social media, Exotic is like an oasis in a desert, quenching my nose thirst for smells that transport me from my bedroom to a bedroom that looks just like mine, only it smells better.

Is it magic and wizardry? Very likely. Quantum physics? I’ve no doubt. And finally, if you mix it with a few drops of Satsuma, prepare yourself for a euphoria only matched by illegal substances and a high quality rave in Las Vegas.

I have loved the Satsuma fragrance since I was a teen and now I’m 38! I decided to reminisce and purchase some and I’m glad I did! It smells fantastic! The only problem I have is the quality of the oil itself.

I noticed the Satsuma oil was significantly thinner than the other fragrance oils I purchased. Because of that, I used the entire bottle in about a week’s time while alternating between my other oils.

I will purchase again, but please provide a longer lasting formula in the future. Thanks!.

This is my favorite smell of all! I have never used the oils before so it’s a bit getting used to but the smell is amazing. It doesn’t fill my whole house like the candles would but in individual rooms it’s wonderful.

Clean and Crisp! This is pretty much my primary scent! Anything I order out this scent, I’m pretty much just trying it.

I have ordered all the different scents Greenleaf makes. They are high quality essential oils. I use them in diffusers to scent verious rooms.

I found the subtle Haven Oil fragrance more acceptable when I tripled the amount I used in my electric infuser. Very soft pleasant aroma wafting throughout the house.

The smell is right on! Good Baby Powder scent. Not sure if the scent really lasts that long though.

Absolute LOVE Sweet Grace scent. I bought the melts about a year ago while on a mini vacation in McCaysville, GA. I had to go online to find more and purchased oil for my diffuser, as well as melts for a friend.

It brings me such joy to have this in my home! My house smells great. The order was sent quickly, so I think this company has great service too!.

I used this for years, candles, simmering oil, potpourri, etc.. Most recently I use on the wool dryer balls for laundry. It makes your clothes smell wonderful.

This is one of the best products I’ve ever used. The fragrance is fabulous. The spray is even better. Just two sprays or a couple of drops makes the whole room smell great.

I found this fragrance disappointing. Claire Burke Original and applejack are exquisite. This fragrance does not have any ocean quality. Its rather blas. Quite unexpected.

What’s not to love? In my favorite scents, I buy the wax cubes and oil together. Once the wax cube scent starts to dull, I freshen it up by adding a few drops of the oil to my warmer. This one is one of my top 5 scents.

I am quite happy with most of these oils, as there scents are true to their name. I was most looking forward to the Gardenia, however it smells like incense rather than a flower. But that could just be my nose.

I love wearing them & have gotten compliments on my fragrance. I’m also happy that these will last quite a while too.

Such a lovely scent! Its light and fresh. It doesn’t smell too feminine or perfume like either if you are worried about that. I put mine in a ceramic diffuser with a little wicking cord to set it and forget it.

Whenever I walk in the room I get a hit of this subtle fresh fragrance. Even my boyfriend loves it and requested that I get more.

Can never have enough patchouli. This however has that little something extra being the Plum patchouli. I love it. I keep it on my work desk.

I was hesitant to try this one because I had it in my mind that it would smell like Calvin Klein’s Obsession and I wasn’t sure my husband would like it. Wow, was I wrong all around! It has so much more depth than expected, and almost a creamy, smooth, soothing scent.

My husband, who rarely ever makes comments on the scents I bring in, was completely enamored as soon as it started filling the room. He made a comment walking up the stairs to even get to our room where the machine was running about how amazing it smelled and how much he loved it.

It’s so sophisticated and sensual, and a wonderful contrast to the usual sweet, feminine scents that tend to dominate our bedroom space from my perfumes, lotions, etc. Definitely a universal scent that could be ran on a lower intensity (I keep mine on 2-3) and still cover a good deal of space.

I tried Santal just by chance. I was looking for something with vanilla or just vanilla and came across this. I liked it immediately and now I love it. I bought two small bottles at first but felt that it didn’t make sense to keep buying little bottles when the value was in buying something bigger.

I’m so glad that I did and now I don’t have to worry about running out any time soon. You absolutely can’t beat this scent. Everyone that comes into my home comments on how good it smells. I have a diffuser in almost every room in my home with this scent.

Perfect name for a fragrance that you will be in love with. In fact, when I first opened the bottle, I cried a little (out of joy). Yes, it’s THAT GOOD. I stressed so much about which scents to buy with my new diffuser since they are a little pricey – I didn’t want to make a mistake.

And this one was exactly what I was looking for. Sweet but not flowery, sexy but not too feminine, complex but not overpowering. just very balanced and decadent. I really don’t think any other fragrance could compare to this.

All of my scents have been great so far but this has been my least favorite of the 7 or 8 I have purchased. It is soft – almost powdery soft – with a bright green-ness behind it. It’s not bad, just not my favorite.

Also one of the weaker ones I have smelled so I kept it set at 10 in my bedroom. My husband and I could barely smell it at the maximum intensity. I had it next to another Brooklyn Candle Studio scent that I enjoyed more which was also a bit weak so it may be the brand.

Nest and Capri seem to do really well at a 3-4 setting.

I have a really hard time finding fragrances I love. I don’t like a particular type of fragrance, it’s more that I love scents that make you think, “oh, something smells good,” but you have no idea where it’s coming from, and you can’t quite put your finger on what the fragrance is.

The other fragrances I have purchased so far have all smelled good, and I like them, but this is the only one that does all of these things. I LOVE it. It does not smell like a candle burning or an air freshener or perfume, it just smells amazing.

I love it so much, I’m considering adding a Pura to my basement and upstairs just for this. If I turn this scent on high it easily fills my whole house but it’s too strong downstairs. I think adding another one upstairs and keeping them both on low would be amazing.

This smell is so good if you don’t add it into the diffuser with a fragrance that is over powering. I would recommend putting it in the diffuser with another light scent that is equally as mild, maybe a vanilla.

It’s a very nice light smell but our Hawaii scent overpowered it, so even when we are doing this one, all we smell is the other one, even though we are not using that side at the moment. It’s a beautiful smell when you can catch it’s own uniqueness.

This scent is uplifting and relaxing. It is very strong – which is how I like my fragrances. I like to dilute them myself. Tuscan Vineyard gets 5 stars, but the price gets 0 stars. I have been using this scent for over a decade – but in the diffuser oil which has been discontinued.

I now use this home fragrance oil in the ceramic diffusers which I purchased from Greenleaf ( at $60+ each) with store bought rubbing alcohol (91% or higher) to dilute and it works beautifully. The scent can fill a room easily and far beyond.

The cost of the oils are outrageously high compared to other 10 ml/0. 33 fl oz oils you can buy averaging $2. 50 when purchased on sale. I only buy the Tuscan Vineyard oil when there is a sale for an occasional spurge.

Highly recommend this scent, just wish it was a reasonable price so I could purchase more often.

This is a very nice scent. I use it in my massage studio. My clients love the way my studio smells. I wish you can order this product all year long. I called and tried to order it for my massage practice and they told me they would not let me order it at all and told me I need to wait till june.

So depressing because this is my all year oil fragrance and room spray.

The smell is the perfect strength and the packaging is much more elegant than traditional room sprays. The scent is very distinct and pleasant, perfect for fall/winter! The spray mechanism is strong too, allowing you to spray from a distance and cover a lot of area.
