20 Best Oils For 3C Hair (2022 Updated)

Thank You! I’ll be honest, my daughter and I have been looking for something that is nourishing and moisturizing for our curly, dry and (at times) frizzy hair. We have tried so many products that are very high end and pricey.

These other products I’m sure are fantastic for some, but with our curly hair that needs major moisture, a lot of these products just have not hit the mark for our particular hair type. Then I found Bounce Curl.

We have tried several things from this line that are excellent and this product in no exception. We’ve been able to go longer between washes which is something that is important to me. I’m 52, my daughter, 14.

So I was so pleased to be able to use these and love them for both of us. Our curls are so much more defined and soft. Just hoping nothing changes as far as ingredients. Just a PERFECT all around cream for our finicky hair.

After 2 years of bleaching my hair to get it to the color it NEVER got to, I did a lot of damage to my hair. Along with a list of all the bad stuff, my natural curls completely disappeared. I wanted them back and determined to get them back one way or another.

So many people recommended Bounce Curls products and I decided to look into it and found this amazing cream. I used it for the first time after I showered and LITERALLY the following day I noticed and felt the difference.

I’m about a week and a half into using the cream and MY CURLS ARE COMING BACK!! It started off wavy for the first couple days and now I have noticed about 80% of my curls coming back!! I’m so excited and relieved that I don’t have to GIVE UP and chop my hair off.

There is hope!.

I Absolutely LOVE this oil! It smooths my curly frizz for soft smooth and shiny curls. When I blow out with the Le Volume 75mm, I finish with this for perfect smoothness and shine. It also smells AMAZING!! The I Ly negative I have is the lid.

It’s rigid and difficult to close. I learned this the hard way by thinking it was closed. It was knocked over accidentally and leaked the contents in their entirety into my makeup bag. It was EXTREMELY difficult to remove from brushes, but they’re quite smooth now haha! It was a brand new bottle, whuch really made me sad, I will purchase again after Christmas! Sad I don’t have it now!!.

I LOVE Lange & am VERY thankful I have started using your products. If you are truly wanting my opinion and if I had to change 1 thing, and its a little thing, I would change your bottling methods. I the Remède Shine-Enhancing Argan Oil is hard to get out of the bottle because it is a harder plastic bottle.

I also use Selecte Thick It Cream. I keep the bottle turned upside down because its so thick, it takes forever to get it to the top to use it. Unfortunately, the way the top is designed, the Thick It Cream settles in the little hole and then when I squeeze, I have a chunk come out that has turned hard.

I feel like I am wasting my product.

I tend to have very dry and wavy hair and because my hair is quite dry my waves never look as they should. They would look quite dull and dry. I was given the chance to test the L’Oréal leave in hair oil which was a godsend for my hair.

I used it twice in week. I massaged it in my hair and left it overnight before washing off the next day. I have to say I started noticing considerable difference in my hair from the first treatment. I hair was instantly soft and shiny.

I could see the waves in my hair. My hair looked hydrated and nourished which I haven’t seen in a long time despite using some good brand products. I have continued to use it and see all this differences and overtime I am sure it will make a huge amount of difference in my hair and it’s growth.

Very impressed with this product and the size that was sent to be tested. Definitely buying and recommending it to everyone I know.

Amazing! This is how I would describe this oil! The texture, the packaging, and the smell. ethereal and magical, no exaggeration. It leaves your hair feeling so smooth and smelling so nice that people would stop you and ask you what you’ve used in your hair! The smoothness of your hair can be felt with just one touch, and just a few pumps would cover your whole hair, meaning that your product will last for a while.

I only have one suggestion, that if you want to straighten your hair, I would recommend to apply the oil after straightening them to give a shiny finishing look, instead of before, as I found it harder to straighten them when I applied the oil before.

Another suggestion would be to apply the oil while your hair is still wet which makes it really easier to comb afterwards. Other than this, super recommended!.

I really wanted to love this product because I love the milkshake line but I just didnt. I have incredibly dark blonde dry hair this gave it some shine but did nothing for the frizz. I could have put more product in to try to control the frizz but then it would have looked greasy.

So this is going to the back of the cabinet where I will NEVER use it probably throw it away in 5 years when I move. Lol.

I love this brand and I bought a glistening oil because my hair is thick, with a dry type texture. This has great healthy benefits for my hair while also providing a beautiful shine and control. They are a little pricey, but I repurchase.

I get the dry shampoo for my daughters oily hair as well.

I just received my WOW hair products, and after first use I’m thrilled with the results. I purchased the Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, 10 in 1Hair Oil, Hair Revitalizer, Mask, and detangling brush.

I’m 74 and just beginning to grey, leaving roots frizzy and dry. I don’t know my hair anymore. I’ve colored throughout my life and now want my hair to age gracefully. I’m also a believer you never have a second chance to make a good impression.

Well, WOW products certainly have made a good first impression. After using the oil as directed, than shampooing and conditioning, with final application of the Hair Revitalizer, I was truly amazed how soft and shiny my hair was.

No frizz from the greys either. WOW had me from hello at that point. I don’t share my photo at my age, but wanted others to see the after effects of using my products the first time. If you’re on the fence about trying WOW, just dive in.

I will assure you I’m the pickiest person you’ll ever meet with hair care products. Spending big bucks for a product that meets my expectations is not a problem. What a blessing to find a well, and modestly priced product line that exceeds my expectations.

My hair my whole life 59 yrs has been a hate hate relationship. Super Curly, Dry, no shine whatsoever. Frizzy ,breaking and in my 50s curls were less and hair falling out in gobs. I’ve always looked at other kids and thought how come my hair doesn’t look like that? In the 70s when having Farah Faucett hair was all the rage I had side show bob hair( he didn’t even exist back then).

I would have my friends iron it with an iron and ironing board only to have my hair go into full afro mode with the slightest of moisture in the air. Some of my friends would belly laugh. The last several yrs I would flat iron my fried **** dull hair.

In 2020. I decided no more color. and I was scrunching and blowing dry it was some crazy looking rats nest. So one day in training with my boss I told her I thought her hair was so beautiful. So shiny,so healthy.

I would die for hair like that. She said have you ever heard of Wow? I said no. She said oh yeah it’s changed my hair. So me being very skeptical you know because I’ve spent a lot of money on the most expensive products and nothing has changed for all that money spent.

So did I run and buy it yeahhh. no. I know Tricia and really believe her but I been dealing with this crazy hair for a while now. I really had resigned myself to having **** hair. Then my wonderful boss my super smart sexy haired boss got me the Red Onion set.

TOTAL GAME CHANGER! I love the change. I am pretty camera shy because I always had **** hair in every picture. I’m still working on that but here’s a picture after a few weeks of use and it keeps on getting better.

I was very disappointed I love this shampoo I have ordered it a couple other times. I did not know they had smaller bottles and I probably would have known by the price but it said $5 and something off that would be approximate price with that added on for the next size which is much larger.

okay yeah I think it was costly for the size but the bottle that lid was not tight. is Ashley leaks out in a plastic bag thank goodness for that down to where the label starts. I don’t remember if they had white protectors when you open the lid to pull off I can’t remember that.

I will not bother bringing it back I need some now. if there was something supposed to be over the top of that bottle, it is a little scary. I don’t think there’s anything that could have been put in there that would harm my head less they put something in it to seep into my brain that’s bad haha LOL seriously I think it should be safe to use.

I have been using this oil for a while now. First, when it arrived, we could smell the fragrance through the packaging! It has a lovely calming and soothing effect that my family loves. Since then, I have used it with our laundry and also on my skin with a carrier oil.

I love the scent and how soft my skin feels! The bottle has a convenient dropper with helps with dispensing the liquid in smaller amounts. It is a great product at an unbelievable price.

I absolutely love Lavender In general And this brand I just purchased through online; is my absolute favorite. I love a strong Lavender scent. I hate that some products don’t have a strong scent or it smells fake.

This one was smooth and pleasant! I even used it for my skin and for my diffuser. It made my skin smooth and gave it a glow and had my home smelling so beautifully relaxed! Love this Lavender Oil. Will def re-purchase.

this lavender oil is so beautifully potent! I have trouble sleeping and I have 6 drops of this stuff in my hot bath. I was totally knocked out the entire night. My whole house smelled like labvenmder from one bath.

I’m a guy. a regular guy. so regular that for 45+ years I used nothing but Vitalis as a hair dressing. No styling gels, no greasy kid stuff, no spray ons. nothing but Vitalis. That’s pretty regular in my opinion.

nondescript if you prefer. I discovered Dry Oil Shine Spray about 15 years ago. Someone gave my wife a sampler which she never used. I gave it a sniff, thought it was nice, read the directions, tried it the next morning after my shower as a hair dressing, and haven’t used anything else since.

It is non-greasy, has a mild, pleasant fragrance, and imparts a healthy, understated luster to my now salt-and-pepper hair. Here’s the deal with Moraccanoil Treatment: it is not pure argan oil. I do not have a problem that.

Although one can use MT by itself as a dressing (as I often do), I have found that MT combined with a small amount of pure argan oil is absolutely outstanding as a hair dressing. For me, a dime-sized pool of MT combined with a small amount of a high-quality pure argan oil does the trick for my collar-length hair.

There are any number of pure argan oil vendors here on shopify at all price points, so you will be well served to experiment as all are not made the same. (Although I’ve never tried it, Dry Oil Shine Sprayhas a pure argan product that is quite expensive.

I’ll bet it’s a superior product, but there are several vendors making very nice pure argan for a more reasonable price. Additionally, I have tried using pure argan as a hair dressing, but it doesn’t work for me as I find it far too heavy.

)So if you’re a “regular” guy and still use a hair dressing every day, Dry Oil Shine Spray could be for you.

Excellent for dry hair/scalp, especially after showering. Mirrors the natural oils you produce for your hair. It also smells like heaven. I got this because after I shower my hair dries up like a sponge at high noon in the middle of July.

Apparently my shampoo and conditioner strips out all the good oils in my hair, and so when i get out and dry off it looks all strung out like each strand of hair was out binge drinking the night before.

Normally it takes like a day or so before it gets back to normal. Friend said this might help, so i gave it a try. The bottle is about 6 inches tall, and has a nozzle at the top that you twist on and off.

You twist the nozzle on, pump a little oil in your hand, twist it off, then comb your hands through your hair to get all that oily goodness in there. It’s oil, so just a little bit, about one or two pumps of the nozzle, goes a long way.

When you’re done you just wash your hands to get the oil residue off your hands and go about your day. The results are immediate. Hair looks and feels healthier, and it smells like a little slice of heaven.

Seriously though, i bought it for the moisturizing effect, but I’m staying to the smell. It smells better than any soap or shampoo i’ve ever used. It’s a very subtle smell, not too strong or too weak, just enough to be noticed, but not overwhelming.

Something along the lines of a smooth vanilla texture with hints of honey and coconut.

From the point of view of this being a product that treats damaged or overly-dry hair, it is perfect. Even though Ive always heard that oil and water dont mix you can apply this oil to moist hair, and it does ********* and infuse the dry hair with more flexibility and makes it feel less brittle.

Its recommended that you use it from the mid-length mark to the tips. Using it along the top of the head (where most flyaways are for me) renders the hair too greasy and creates a helmet-like look. From the point of view that this is a styling aid, I found it less helpful.

Yes, it does help tame fly aways, which I define as those hairs that are so short that they dont stay flat. But it does nothing to help you create a clean and controlled hair style. The product can be used on damp and dry hair.

The damp application, surprisingly, is more effective. Applying it to dry hair (as one would apply a serum) is a bit heavy. I read in the product description that a light version is available for gray hair.

This is probably the version I should have gotten. This one is too thick for me. I also want to mention that Im reviewing the travel size. Since each use is of no more than a dime-to-nickel size portion, this travel size should last for many months.

It is not unscented but the scent, while difficult to describe, is neither unpleasant nor overpowering.

As I have gotten older, my hair has dried out and also started thinning so I wanted a product to strengthen my hair and also provide some moisture. This is an amazing product. I would never have thought I would be putting oil in my hair.

It sounds counterproductive but its not. My hair is just below my shoulders in length and I put the oil in after towel drying. I work about 5-6 pumps into the bottom 4″ of my hair, then blow dry. My hair is in fantastic condition and I know this product has helped significantly.

I trialed this hair serum for 8 weeks, oiling my hair the night before washing twice a week. When I started, my hair was very dry and damaged and I was losing almost a palmful of hair every time I washed it.

After about a month of using this, I started feeling the moisture come back to my hair and now at the end of the 8 weeks, my hair feels so soft, so much healthier, and I’m starting to see all these baby hairs! Though I did receive a sample of the Fortifying Hair Serum in exchange for an honest response, I already had a full sized bottle of this product which I purchased with my own money. So I already LOVE this hair serum.

I use it once a week on Sunday afternoon and leave it in until I wash my hair on Monday morning. On Mondays I only use shampoo and do not condition. I have very fine hair, and my scalp gets a bit more oily.

Sometimes the ends can dry out. After using this prodcut for the past 6 months my ends no longer dry out. Also, following suggestions from Ranavat on the use and how to reduce the times you need to shampoo, I went from HAVING to shampoo my hair every other day, to only needing to wash it every 3 days.

I’ll start by saying I have mixed African American and Hispanic 2C hair. My ends were damaged and dry and some strands were just completely snapping. I’ve been parting my hair in half at nights and applying 2-3 pumps of this serum on each side.

I’ve also accompanied the product with bondi boost shampoo, conditioner as well as the intensive spray. My hair feels absolutely beautiful and already looks so much healthier. It’s much more conditioned and no longer feels dry.

So, I finally got the opportunity to steal some of this (shampoo, conditioner, root spray, serum and leave in conditioner) from my daughter (ha,ha,ha,haaaaa!!) I am almost 50, my hair isn’t as thick as it used to be and it looks like one big split end.

I bought Olaplex a few months ago and haven’t seen any major improvements. After using this last night, just one time, I am beyond surprised at my hair! It looks GREAT!! And, this morning when I woke up, I almost had “get out of bed and go” hair! Now, I have to figure out how to keep this stuff!! :).

bought the styling cream and gel after watching lots of different videos. I used it like it said in the videos but I have lots of fine wavy hair down my back that always goes frizzy so using a little bit of product still left me with frizz but when I used lots I loved how it gave my curls more definition but it feels kind of greasy, like when you have lots of product build up after 4 or 5 days.

Also I still have frizz all over. Do you have any styling tips that could help please? I did email you but never heard back. I just bought the mega hold gel and also some pineapple protectors and the conditioner, how would you advise to use everything to get best results? I like bigger hair with waves but when I get this I always have frizz, what can I put on dry hair when it’s styled to tame down the frizz? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have attached some pics to show you my hair type. The pic where I have the black top is when I just did my hair and I loved it, but the other pics are the next day and it looks really frizzy , and overloaded with product.

( videos online said to wet hair next day and apply little bit more product to refresh look, but I must have done something wrong because my hair looked super frizzy and really overloaded). You can see on 2 pics where my hair looks lighter *1st day, and curls are really defined.

But others my hair looks orangey*2nd day ( not a word! Lol) I have spent years straightening and then curling my hair as I could never get smooth curl naturally and it would just look messy, these are the first products that have made my natural hair look good, even nicer than with curlers!.

I have very long, naturally wavy hair and I do use heat to style my hair often. I recently lightened my dark brown hair and like in most cases for dark hair, it tends to dry the hair. I used this even before I lightened and it works like a charm to keep my hair soft & manageable.

I apply this to my hair wet after shampooing and then style as normal. It’s also shortened my time using the dryer! I use the shampoo & conditioner too and these products smell amazing. I hate product build up and so hair (since March 2015) I haven’t had any of those issues.

The only negative is that I feel it’s on the pricey side but a little bit goes a long way. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve had the oil since March and I’m still using it (just on mid length to ends). Highly recommend especially for dry hair, curly/wavy hair, coarse hair, and long hair.

This is by far the best treatment for my dry hair. A little goes a long way. One bottle lasts me months. I have shoulder-length hair. After I wash my hair, I put half a dropper full on my fingers, and then flip upside down and run my fingers through my wet hair.

I’ve tried so many treatments, but this one is by far the best. It leaves my hair shiny, but not greasy-looking. I highly recommend it.
