20 Best Oils For Black Skin (2022 Updated)

I got a full size in a Space NK box and have been using this for about 2 months now. I use this at night and occasionally twice a day. This cream feels very nice to apply. I don’t use the applicator but I can see this is a nice aspect to the cream and would be effective for cooling.

I dab one pump between my ring fingers and dab on gently (which I heard was a good way of applying eye cream?) It absorbs really well, feels nice and plumping, works well under make up on the times that I have used it.

I personally feel that my under eye area looks improved since using. I don’t know if I could afford to pay full price for a refill. I like the fact that you can actually see how much is left as you use it too, not like some dispensers.

So I’ve been using this for over 3 weeks and have to admit that the promised results are sort of non existent in my case, unfortunately. I usually love Sisley products, but this fluid left me feeling that this particular product is simply average.

Now, don’t get me wrong I did enjoy using this – the cream has a very nice texture, absorbs beautifully, lasts ages, keeps your eye area hydrated and a notion that you’re using a Sisley product made out of finer ingredients does make you feel pretty good.

However, that’s all there’s to say about this. I didn’t experience any additional brightness around the eye area, nor did I notice the reduction of my dark circles (which is my main concern). Can’t comment on the anti-aging properties as I haven’t got issues in that department yet, but hopefully (for the sake of your wallets) it would deliver.

As much as I was hoping to have a luxurious and nourishing experience for my eyes – I didn’t. I had a much better time using the Veneffect’s Anti Aging Eye Treatment (which is actually a tiny bit cheaper than this) or even Malin+Goetz’s Revitalizing Eye Gel (which is A LOT cheaper).

Most certainly wouldn’t be a repeat purchase.

I’ve only recently incorporated a facial oil into my routine, usually by mixing a few drops into my moisturiser. Remembered I had a small sample of the Sisley-Paris Black Rose Precious Face Oil so decided to try it.

Oh…my…word!!! I used it in the mornings and my face felt hydrated throughout the day – not oily – just wonderfully soft. There is a slight floral rose scent but it isn’t strong and it didn’t really register with me.

Without a doubt this is an expensive facial oil and as a result I am left in two minds. If I wanted to, I probably could afford it. I only used 2/3 drops at a time so it should last me a while. But is it WORTH it? In the short time I’ve used it, it has had greater impact than anything else I’ve used.

It is soothing, wonderfully hydrating and leaves my skin radiant. I’m always nervous of oils but this one feels light and not oily. I wish I had a slightly bigger sample to use for a slightly longer period of time before deciding to fork out for a full size.

I am seriously tempted though.

I forgot I bought this and only started using it for a week now. in the mornings and in the evening. In the mornings I usually use it after I use a serum without moisturiser on and then put sun block on top.

in the evenings I usually put moisturiser on and then the oil to lock it in in and then sometimes I go over it with a gel sleep mask. from the first youth I noticed my skin was super buttery soft looked nice and glowy and not greasy.

I have dry dehydrated skin but my t-zone gets oily and sometimes I get hormonal spots on my chin. I also have sensitive skin this boil has not disrupted any of that and has been helping with the dryness.

definitely been helping with the block pores I have around my nose.

I love this brand I use their toner and it’s a holy grail of mine. Ride or die. I was so excited to add this in but to my surprise it dehydrated my skin. It felt great it absorbed nice and it gave me that light glow I was looking for but for some reason throughout the day it dehydrated my skin.

I have light acne scarring on my cheeks and that’s my indicator for whether or not my skin is dehydrated because it looks worse and they look deeper when it is. I used it for a few days and it looked worse I stopped using it to check and then used it again and it was most definitely this oil because I changed nothing else.

Take it with a grain of salt everyone’s skin is different. At application it was a wonderful product.

I bought this product to use for a keto rash my son had developed shortly after starting the keto diet. He applies the oil to his rash and immediately gets relief from the itching. So far so good 🙂

This oil has a subtle smell of sesame seeds and is the perfect consistency; not as thick as castor oil and a tad thicker than liquid coconut oil. Using it to sooth some rosacea areas on my face. Fabulous.

Will buy again~.

I had looked forward to making a purchase from Alitura for a couple of years, the products are expensive and I really felt it was a luxury. I was so excited when there was a 25% off coupon code offered on my favorite podcast by Ben Greenfield and I finally made my purchase! After making my initial order I realized that the ‘complete line’ kit did not include the daily serum and since that seems to be a really important part of Alitura I wanted to add that to my order, this was early in the day on Friday and I tried to contact the company in every way possible throughout the day and weekend without success.

It was Wednesday of the following week before anyone contacted me and it went downhill from there! I won’t bore you with a play by play but the lack of professionalism and customer service was astonishing! I would never deal with this company no matter how good the products are or how highly they come recommended.

I have been using 3 of your products for a while, intermittently to be sure. Not what I was advised to do by my friend who purchased the items for me on her account last year. Living in Scottsdale, Az leaves us all with dry skin.

So, after I ran out of the item’s, I was encouraged to buy my own supply. I’m not a skin sensitive person however I believe these products are beneficial to good skin care. It’s hard to know whether poor creams I used did any good so a recommended product like yours is a great improvement.

Finding the right products for hair can be a lifelong battle for some, and I am one of those people. My hair is mixed textured and gets tired of products very easily, and in turn, I get irritated of having to change my hair routine very couple of months.

My mom gave me this to try, and while my lashes and brows are thriving (though they didn’t need to be doing anything extra to begin with), for my actual hair crown, I would say that this castor oil is BETTER, not GREAT.

It maintains what I have, but there’s no drastic improvement. The smell can be very strong, seemingly depending on what batch you get. I’ve purchased some bottles where the smell is faint where others I’ve had to return because it smells like a chimney.

I hope that their attempt at pump-action top will be changed because they are absolute trash, especially when you near the bottom of the bottle. A little of the oil goes a long way, as it is very concentrated, and lasts a while from my use.

I wait until there’s a sale promotion to purchase again as I don’t think it needs to be ten dollars for a tiny bottle.

The bottles comes in a pump now which I personally like better. I have coarse hair and saw something about this helping maintain frizz and help with hair growth. I started using this the night before I wash my hair (1x a week) and it’s changed my hair in so many ways.

My hair looks and feels so much healthier. I apply it all over my scalp and ends and sleep with it. (Yes it makes a little bit of a mess) but you could also wrap your hair if that worries you. It’s never stained any of my items.

I’ve used it on my cuticles and dry skin and think it’s a great staple item to have!.

I’ve been looking for a face oil that will moisturize my face as it’s too dry due to my tretinoin regimen. All the oils that I’ve tried just didn’t work, until I came across with this one. I only use it with my evening skin regimen.

Can I please give this 10 stars? I had thinning eyelashes and eyebrows that are turning white 😭 getting older is painful at times. This stuff is a miracle in a bottle and oh my sweet baby Jesus!!! I was skeptical, but this stuff really worked for my hair! I am 42 and i thought hair thinning was just going to be a thing i will have to endure. BUT…I have been using this product less than two weeks and I am a believer! I saw difference in less than a week as well.

I used it in the temples where my hair is much thinner almost bare, but this stuff has has made me feel so good about my decision to try! I am so pleased! It does have an odor that i had to get used to (plain), but it passes.

I used it at night to begin but figured i could use in the day time too, so I put a little on during the AM and comb thru the hair. It makes my hair appear like i just took a shower and have wet hair (maybe using too much, lol, don’t know).

But i have only been using a small dime size for each side. it is thick oil, but not sticky. It just takes time to absorb it. And what i like is if i do wet it it seems to make my hair nice and soft and still manageable.

Love this organic castor oil to naturally moisturize and condition my hair and scalp. Bought the new mini size for travel and also love the dropper. Will probably use it with the bigger bottle I also have.

Buyer beware: it is black castor oil so it has a slightly smokey smell. It’s the real deal — so much better than other brands that just contain a little bit of black castor included.

I am convinced there is magic in this oil. Since approaching menopause my skin had gotten increasingly dry, and nothing I tried seemed to be able to keep it moisturised. Until I tried Love Your Body Oil, that is.

okay so, this is classy. what impressed me most is how authentic the “dark chocolate” scent is. this isn’t “cocoa puffs”. true dark chocolate. superb for layering. especially to top “winter scents”. because it’s an oil, it smooths any sharpness.

because it’s a massage oil i wish it were just a tad stronger. will be purchasing a stronger perfume oil from demeter if they have one. excellent.

Demeter has a lot of variations on leathery scents, but each one has its own unique fragrance. As someone who enjoys horse-riding, I can say that it truly does smell like a new saddle! The smell of brand new leather, with that ineffable spiciness that can be so hard to describe.

It smells classy, very one-of-a-kind, and in the form of massage oil it doesn’t fall victim to those awful ethanol overtones. I even like rubbing a bit on my handbag to give it that new-bag smell! It’s got a great kick and a durable scent.

I actually find the fragrances of the Demeter massage oils tend to last better than the cologne sprays. Naturally, though, you’ll really want to do some layering when you find a fragrance you truly love.

It’s a very nice fragrance and would suit both men and women very well.

I use this oil as a perfume and I’m obsessed. The Demeter brand’s scents are SO on point it’s almost scary! To smell like chocolate is a dream. It lasts all day since it’s a concentrated oil & makes girls wish they thought of wearing chocolate perfume!.

This oil has worked very well. I ordered it for my husband and he uses it after every shower just in his beard. His beard is much softer and less rough after using it and he has experienced less dryness on his skin where his beard is.

I also used it on the ends of my hair a few times and I really enjoyed the experience. The smell is not overpowering either, which is great. It has lasted a long time as well as he doesn’t need much.

I’ll be buying again when he does run out. Highly recommend.

This is my second favorite Jack Black product. After a shower, I use one pump of this nourishing oil to smooth my face. It’s so effective and smooth on the skin that my wife steals this and uses it more than me! A bottle of this (back when I was single) would last about eight months for once a day usage or after a shower.

Highly recommend it for someone with a dry face in conjunction with a cream or moisturizer.

Previously, I had purchased and used the Verb ghost oil, Moroccan oil, and Macadamia Natural oil and had used them for about 5/6 years. I was introduced to the MP10 oil last summer thanks to receiving a product sample (for once!) from my Sephora online order.

Two months later I broke down and purchased this. I’ve been working on the same bottle for 5 months now and I’m not even halfway through it. This is the most moisturizing oil I’ve ever used. It actually absorbs into my hair AND skin whereas before with the Verb ghost oil just coated my hair strands without absorbing any of the product.

It just made my dry ends look greasy and in serious need of moisture. The moroccan oil stained my natural blonde hair after a couple of years of use. My hair color turned darker on the ends. The Jack Black MP10 Nourishing Oil was marketed on the sample package as being a beneficial pre shave oil but after purchasing the product I have found a myriad of ways to use it! Ever had razor burn after shaving? This oil immediately brought down the irritating my under arms were experiencing.

This also saved my elbows and knees from looking like sandpaper! My hair health has also improved greatly. All it takes is a pump or two of the clear glass bottle to produce a dime sized amount to use on my skin and hair.

I recommend applying it more liberally to the skin then with hair.

Der Duft ist einfach wunderbar, ich liebe den Geruch nach Orange. 🙂 Ehrlich gesagt verwende ich es als Allrounder für Körper, manchmal Gesicht (und Augenpartie gegen Augenringe) und teilweise auch für die Spitzen meiner langen Haare.

Einfach ein TOP Produkt, für einen fairen Preis. Ich hoffe, dass es nicht nur ein Sonderprodukt ist, sondern noch seeehr lange in den Regalen zu finden ist. Danke für dieses wunderbare Öl, ich bin begeistert davon.

Das weiche Gefühl bleibt den ganzen Tag erhalten.

Meine (trockene) Haut hat sich noch nie besser angefühlt. Vor allem im Winter sehr zu empfehlen.
