20 Best Oils For Body Scrubs (2022 Updated)

This is absolutely phenomenal stuff! I’m almost finshed with my first jar which was the cucumber. Very sudtle cucumber scent. Kinda makes you think it’s made with a fresh squeezed cucumber. It’s not a scent thats is going to make you smell like cucumbers all day.

Which I like because I don’t like my oils/lotions to clash or over power with my perfume. I am a walking allergy with eczema and kp. I’ve not had any reactions and it has improved my skin (esp. Legs) so much! Now everyone is different so I’m not saying it will be good for you but its done unbelievably amazing changes for my skin.

With having eczema and kp its hard to find something you like that actually works. THANK YOU! I love love love purescubs so far. off to buy a different scent.

This came earlier than expected. A little goes along way. I have very dry rough skin. This left my skin smoother even on my face than anything I’ve used. You do need to apply a moisturizer. It has a strong fragrance but that did not stop me from using it.

The description said it included a wooden spatula and application pad. It was not included. That’s not a big enough problem to return the product.

Really nice and soothing Heavenly scented scrub in a moisturizing oil base. Set come with a little wooden spoon that can be stored in the jar, and a mini loofah pad with a loop so it can be hung to dry.

Does a good job exfoliating.

Have Severe Dry Skinand i’ve been looking for a moisturizing exfoliating scrub since forever! So this looked interesting enought to try. I love how the scent compliments the oil and it’s not overpowering.

When you think about ginger and cardamom i think chai tea whichi love. This here is chai tea for your body! I’ve been using extra virgin olive oil for my skin for a few months and the effects are great.

This scrub is amazing and its one of my faves now.

I don’t typically care for the scent of lavender, but this product is an exception. The mix with sandalwood is just right. It’s a light, fresh scent. I love how the product feels on my skin. It exfoliates without being rough.

My skin feels soft and moisturized. The only thing I don’t like is that it leaves just a bit of oily residue on my skin and I feel like I can’t dress for a while after use.

I have this matching body spray and it’s absolutely amazing ! Literally one of my all time favorite scents they have ever made. Think warm , cozy and smooth. Something inviting. When I found the scrub I knew I had to have it as well because I love a good exfoliation and having the same scent for in shower is just amazing.

I wasn’t wrong. Buffing this into you skin leaves you polished and leaves the scent on the skin. It’s just amazing and I love it.

Ive used the ginger and cardamom cream lotion for several years. Its a wonderful lotion. Non greased smell fantastic. I bought several 8 oz cream tubes as Christmas presents and everyone of the recipients are overjoyed to have this great product.

I high recommend this product and I will continue to use it as well.

I actually purchased this scrub during a bath body works semi annual sale. I was unfamiliar with this scent, but figured it couldn’t be that bad. I purchased two and I sure hate that I didn’t purchase more, because I prefer oil based scrubs.

My skin is usually dry, especially in the winter so it’s super helpful to have the oil based scrub. So, if you have dry skin like me then I would definitely recommend this product.

I am a big fan of Dr Teals and have been using their products for a few years now. I have everything from their body oil, lotion, and hand soap. This product is great for so many reasons. First it has a thick consistency and applies very nicely to the skin.

Many body scrubs that I have used in the past are too watery with harsh beads that irritate my skin. This body scrub has gentle beads that melt into your skin as your rub it in. My skin feel so moisturized after using it.

Also, the smell is so amazing! It’s a nice refreshing scent that wakes me up in the morning. It is a nice blend of oils that doesn’t smell artificial or overpowering. When I went to hug my husband after getting out of the shower, he even commented on how nice I smelled.

Overall I think this product is absolutely great and I would 10/10 recommend it.

Dr. Teals is no stranger in our home. My family has used their products for years now. From their Epsom salts to foaming bath, sleep sprays and lotion, we are fans, and for a reason. They work, and work well, which is why I was not surprised this Shea sugar scrub was so good.

So what makes this scrub good? Right from the start I was impressed with it’s texture. It’s thicker than others I’ve used, which I really like. It applies nicely and does a fantastic job of exfoliating my skin; especially my dryer areas such as my elbows, sides and arms (where I often struggle with keratosis pilaris), leaving it soft and smooth, without feeling greasy.

It also works beautifully on my legs prior to shaving, helping to prep them to be silky smooth. The scent is lovely. To me it smells slightly sweet, which I enjoy. This scrub is all around good, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

I received Dr Teal’s Shea Sugar Body Scrub in Rose Essential Oil in exchange for an honest review of the product. I suffer from dry skin on multiple areas of my body, so when I was offered Dr Teals Shea Sugar Body Scrub, I signed up immediately.

The first thing I noticed when opening the container was the scent. I absolutely love the smell of this sugar scrub! The smell of the rose essential oil is prominent but not overpowering. It has a true rose scent that smells so pleasant.

This body scrub also contains shea butter, evening primrose oil, and macadamia seed oil which leaves my skin feeling moisturized and smooth. I also like what it doesn’t have – this product is paraben & phthalate free.

I love that this body scrub is cruelty free, vegan, and made in the USA. This product contains 19 oz. of body scrub which allows for multiple uses. I have found this body scrub to be effective at exfoliating and moisturizing my skin.

I would recommend this product and plan to purchase it in the near future.

I am super happy with this body scrub. It makes showering feel like a luxurious experience. The texture is rough, which is how an exfoliating scrub is supposed to be. When applied, it really feels like I’m cleaning my skin thoroughly.

The smell is florally and strong, but in my opinion that enhances the experience. It’s definitely a great product when you’re in the mood to pamper yourself. The product itself feels cool to the touch when you scoop it out of the jar, which is oddly satisfying during a hot shower.

The packaging is perfect, easy to open and easy to store. There’s also a lot of product in the jar, so this will definitely last awhile. 10/10 would buy again!.

This dr teals shea sugar body scrub in my opinion is something good to have on hand especially in the winter time. In the winter months my skin tends to get dry with some dry patches. This body scrub from the very first use has greatly helped my skin.

This makes my skin silky, soft and scrubs dry skin away. It is easy to use. I use this when i take a shower. I just take a small amount in my hands and gently rub it on my body. When done it washes off with no problem.

I cannot forget to mention the scent which is roses, my favorite scent. I would highly recommend this to anyone to help with dry skin.

Okay, so I’ve always loved The Body Shop body butters. The coconut is absolutely wonderful! It’s a creamy coco scent, and feels wonderful on the skin. I am writing this review for for the FRESH RASPBERRY body butter though.

I got it at Ulta, and have to say it may be one of the best smells in the world. It smells exactly like fresh raspberries…like it makes my mouth water. The texture of this cream is out of the world amazing.

It almost has a water-gel-creamy texture. Thick, but also fluid at the same time. You have to smell this product. Seriously. It’s unlike any other raspberry, or fruit smell I’ve ever sniffed!.

The texture: Think of a thick lotion base with scrubbies. I like the scrub factor- doesn’t dissolve too quickly, a little scratchy. If you have super sensitive skin, go easy. It’s kind of like the apricot scrub you get at the drugstore (but way better, just for comparison).

Feel: I like my scrubs to have a little oil to them because I like the glow it gives my skin, and this didn’t really have that. Still made my skin soft and smooth. Performance: Works better for a bath than the shower.

In the shower, it ran off a bit too easily when areas would get misted, but in the bath is wonderful. Scent: I wrote a not-so-great review about the coconut body butter and mentioned the scent was barely noticeable.

If the body butter is supposed to smell like the scrub, I’d totally by the body butter again because this scrub smells SO GOOD. I was kind of worried I’d smell like tanning oil (I buy everything online), but this has a really nice natural coconut smell, not the cloying sticky sweetness of artificial coconut.

This is one of my favorite body creams. Coconut oil is amazing for your skin it is super hydrating and moisturizing. This melts right into your skin giving you lasting Hydration. It smells absolutely amazing and is very pleasant to 7se.

My skin looks healthy and glows. Not to mention it 8s very affordable!.

I had no idea I was getting this voxbox, but it showed up today made my day! I can’t find my usual sugar scrub, it’s like Influenster just knew exactly what I needed. It smells freakin’ incredible…most rose scented products smell awful, but Dr Teals got it right.

So far I have just tried it on my hands (which have been dry painful from washing them so much) after just two uses, they’re sooo soft my skin is no longer on the verge of cracking. I cannnot wait to use it tonight when I shower, because these legs have been hiding all winter they need some serious exfoliating! [brand:dr-teals].

This scrub is amazing. It makes my skin so soft and it smells so smooth! The oil isn’t greasy and absorbs nicely. I was mostly blown away by the scrub. I always feel like there is a wide variety in their consistency on the market and I could never find the right one for me.

They either don’t have enough exfoliant or too much and it’s like scrubbing with gravel. Not this one. It’s perfect. It’s coarse but not irritating. I have sensitive skin so this was a rare find for me :).

I was looking for a body scrub to exfoliate my dry skin, especially being winter. I bought the scrub and oil combo and was pleasantly surprised! The scrub has oil in it, so it hydrates as it exfoliates, which is what my skin needs.

I was hesitant about the body oil because what I’ve used in the past has just sat on my skin and was messy, but this actually absorbs into my skin, leaving my skin hydrated. I’ve bought more sets to last me awhile!.

The body sugar scrub was the best scrub I’ve ever used. I’ve tried so many sugar scrubs from so many companies but SugarMeSmooth was by far the best. Not only did it get right of the dead skin but it hydrated my skin at the same time.

I live in a dry area and it was so wonderful to not have to pump a ton of lotion on to myself after every shower. I love SugarMeSmooth’s body sugar scrub and I will 100% be buying it again and again.

I read so many reviews on great this smelled and that it worked well. I will say that it works alright but it’s not my favorite. As for the scent, it’s just okay IMO. You can definitely smell that this is a hemp product and it has a bit of a spa like scent to it as well.

It’s a fairly clean scent that is light and not overly fragranced but I don’t really care for it. It does exfoliate well but I much prefer TH scrubs to this. I feel that the other brands just works better.

The TH scrubs dissolve more easily and are great to shave with. This scrub was more grainy and didn’t dissolve as well. It still left my skin smooth but it wasn’t great to shave with. Personally, I don’t care for it and will would not repurchase.

Overall, I’d rate it as average.

I am absolutely in love with Dr Teal’s Shea Sugar Body Scrub. The Cannabis Sativa Hemp Seed Oil with essential oils smells so good – low key, very refreshing and not overwhelming at all. I use scrubs quite often to keep elbows in particular smooth.

I was so surprised by how well this made my whole body feel so smooth and moisturized. I also really like that the product is made in the USA, is cruelty free and paraben and phthalate free! This has quickly become my favorite scrub, I only use 1 other now, and have been finding myself using it more often because I like it so much.

I can’t say enough good things and I highly recommend. It’s staying in the shower so I can quickly grab it. I also follow up with a Dr Teal’s lotion to extend the good feeling.

A new fav, I love body scrubssssss I finished my Jeffree Star Banana scrub wanted to get more so went for my go to brand (Tree Hut scrubs) and it was 12$ 😑 absolutely not! // inflation is real! Anyway, I was @ Walmart and the merchandising stand got me.

I love the Dr Teals bath salts and thought why not it’s got a fresh smell + not a harsh grain. It’s not as moisturizing as Tree Hut or Jeffree’s but it smelled so nice. Plus I’m in a major CBD phase where it’s all I want lol CBD oils CBD gummies, CBD vapes! All about it, the fresh sent + sativa were my key points.

Soft enough to use during my TCA healing phases but also strong enough to feel a difference after my shower…love it 🥰🥰👌👌.

I’ve never tried a sugar scrub but I’m really glad i did! I have a water softner in my home and it dries my skin out in the winter. I usually use a veggie bush to exfoliate but it takes to much time.

I needed something to exfoliate while giving me the moisture i need. I’m very happy i decided to try Dr. Teals sugar scrub with essential oils. It gave me exactly what i needed. Also my husband uses it on his hands because it washes the grease off with ease and keeps his hands feeling soft.

You can really smell the elderberry and its a wonderful addition. It works really well and smells beautiful.

I just love the Black Elderberry scent with essential oils. I have used other scrubs but this is by far the best I’ve encountered. When using the scrub The minut you put it on the skin it dissolves really well and not leaving the sugary feel substance on your skin.

This stuff really melts like butter. The oils give your skin great moisture. This container is 19 oz and it a nice size. I am very pleased with how this scent lasts all day on body. I am so glad this product exist I look forward to purchasing more products very soon.

I never write reviews-ever—but I was so disappointed in this product. I always loved the OOBS from Philosophy in the past, but the new formula is terrible. It is NOT a scrub and it is not moisturizing.

The “scrub” is some weird balls of something (terrible description I know) but it’s just odd. Not a sugar. not a salt. Not fine or granulated like scrubs should be. Also, the scent does not linger on the skin and I am VERY sensitive to smell, so if anyone was going to be able to smell this, it would be me.

Do not waste your money on this one. If you want moisture and scent just buy the body wash. If you want exfoliation with it, you will need to look into another brand. Hope that helps. Mine will be returned.

I love my skin after using this product. I am still using the bottle that I bought previously. The pump from that one quit working. I just use the pump stem and dip and use my fingers to get the quantity needed.

Don’t need to lift the bottle, as have RA.

I have been a philosophy girl for years. and have bought Amazing Grace for several friends and co-workers. Everyone loved the smell – and I received at least one compliment per day. Since COTY took over, the smell no longer lasts.

It even smells a little different when I put it on. I’ve heard the same complaints from my friends that used to love it – they say the smell no longer lasts. I’ve read several complaints from others also.

Why will philosophy / COTY not listen??? And you notice there are no recent awards for Amazing Grace – which used to get recognized almost every year. I’ve stopped buying it for myself and for gifts.

I’m hoping another company will get the hint and come out with something comparable to the old philosophy. It’s the only thing I could wear without getting headaches.

I received a tub of this as a product tester recently, and loving Sanctuary products in general, as well as being a devoted espresso coffee lover, I was excited to try it out. It feels very luxurious, and left my skin feeling so lovely and soft, but the screw top container is a bit fiddly to use in the shower, and I’m really not sure I like the smell.

I have the shower foam from the same range, and am absolutely hooked on the smell of that, but this scrub – although similar to a degree – smells very strongly of its main ingredient, which is coffee.

I adore coffee and drink it strong and black, but even I found the powerful coffee smell of this product a bit overwhelming! You can definitely detect the gorgeous rich essential oil scents of the other ingredients in there, but coffee is very much the main scent (for me, anyway, and my coffee-hating husband thought it smelled disgusting!!) and it lingers for hours after showering.

I can live with smelling like my favourite drink, but it’s definitely a bit off-putting, and after I’ve finished the pot I was given to sample, I definitely couldn’t see myself buying it. In summary: this is a luxuriously rich product which leaves your skin feeling amazing, as long as you don’t mind smelling like a branch of Starbucks for the next 24 hours!.

Gently mix product, massage onto wet skin before stepping into bath or shower… however I wouldn’t recommend you do this at the beginning of your bath or you’re bathing in all the bits of ground coffee & cranberry seeds.

I found stepping under the shower then sitting on bath seat to do the full body scrub easiest. This is a lovely body scrub – textured enough to feel like it’s working yet not too rough that it feels like you’re using sandpaper.

It does leave skin feeling considerably moisturised. The full morning after an evening use your skin still feels glowy and soft to touch. I think the pot will manage 3- 4 full body scrubs and a few half leg scrub.

Great to use before shaving if your prone to ingrown hairs. Personally I’m not so keen on the smell a bit bitter for my nose but it does not leave a lingering scent in the skin. Love that this is cruelty free PETA approved & a vegan product.

I loved this product, the fragrances played with my senses, it was like being transported into a spa retreat. It allowed me to forget all my work stresses of the day and I was able to be at one with myself and totally relax.

I just wanted to hold on to that moment, it was total bliss. To be honest I would not of placed this product with this brand as the product was on a parr with the premium brands on the market. The product was very light to use, non sticky, not too dry either than it rolled of the skin before use.

It was the perfect consistency and when I applied water it just blended beautifully on the skin. It was a delight to use. The grains were not harsh at all and provided an amazing exfoliating experience which left my skin feeling super soft and moisturised for at least 24 hours.

Rejuvenation at its best. The only negative perhaps is the fragrance if coffee is not their chosen aroma then you my be put of by it but for myself it was a future purchase 10 out of 10. Thank you.

Omgosh I mainly bought this for the ingredients and the scent description!! At first I was a little disappointed because my jar was half full. However the smell is amazing and the product itself is almost dense a little goes a long way.

It’s like rubbing the softest beach sand mixed with oil on your skin and the water actually beads off after cleansing. The scent is amazing reminds me of being at the beach all day! Not greasy at all! I wish they had a body wash!!! I wish it was a little less costly also because I’m addicted !.

I absolutely love this stuff. It’s so scrubby yet incredibly moisturizing, I don’t have to put moisturizer on after so I always use it when I’m in a hurry. I won’t pay full price but I’ll always buy it when it’s on sale!.

This scrub is so good – very scrubby, very moisturizing and actually scents your skin. It’s a big tub and you only need a small amount, so I’d say it’s fairly priced for a premium fragrance product. If you like a beachy scent, you may really like Pirette, especially in warm weather.

I am so obsessed with this scrub! Garnier has really hit it out of the park with their Beauty Oil range (I’m also obsessed with their body oil) and this scrub is a must have!\nIt comes in an easy to use squeeze tube (perfect for the shower) and has a lovely (and subtle) floral scent.

The grittiness in this scrub is absolutely fantastic!! I personally use a loofah to help distribute the product across my body but that’s totally optional. A little goes a long way with this one, and it lathers up beautifully as well.

Definitely made my skin feel softer and smoother after just one use (though trust me, you’ll want to keep using it!). The grittiness while tough, is definitely suitable for everyday use. \nWould highly recommend for all skin types! Loving this gorgeous floral scented scrub. At under $12 for such an effective product you really can’t go wrong. It smells amazing for a start, feminine and pretty, the product itself has a gel consistency which lathers up well and the exfoliating beads are super fine and really gentle so great for sensitive skin.

Garner really delivers with excellent value for money and this scrub works so well it’s like a mini day spa in a tube, so handy. I love that it contains such beautiful oils Arian, rose, macadamia and almond so it leaves my skin super soft and silky after use, nourished and moisturised.

This scrub effectively removes dead skin cells for reguvenation and is excellent at prepping legs for summer tanning products. The handy tube eliminates waste and mess and is easy to use under the shower I just rub it in with my hands, no need for a mit and it rinses off easily.

I adore this, especially for summer, a garner winner I would highly recommend.

The Garnier Beauty Oil Scrub is hands down my holy grail body scrub! There are so many things I adore about it. Firstly, the formula is spot on – it has the perfect amount of grittiness (not too little, not too much) and the grit comes from crushed seeds, so it isn’t harmful to the environment.

Secondly, the combination of almond, macadamia, almond & rose oils is incredibly moisturising (not to mention they smell amazing), so it doesn’t dry out the skin like some scrubs do. Thirdly, the plastic squeeze tube packaging makes it perfect for the shower (no need to worry about unscrewing a lid and having water getting in).

Lastly, this scrub is easily accessible being sold in most stores, is incredibly affordable (rec retail $11. 95), and is often on sale. \nI use this once or twice a week and have found that one tube will last me a couple of months.

I have gone through countless tubes of this scrub and can’t imagine ever using anything else. Highly recommend! \n.
