20 Best Oils For Ear Infection (2022 Updated)

In true Vata fashion, I am very sensitive to sound! Sound can create as much imbalance as it can balance, which is why I was so excited to try Banyan Ear Oil. I’m thrilled to share that my ears (and soul) have felt nourished and grounded by adding these drops to my dinacharya! My ears are literally more relaxed and less stimulated by sounds that have historically created discomfort.

I’ll continue using Banyan Ear Oil, be it 1 drop or 6, regularly to enjoy it’s nurturing effect.

My evening routine sets me up for a restful sleep. After removing my makeup and brushing my teeth, I heat water in a glass cup. First I heat my Ear Oil just until warm, remove the bottle, and then warm my Brami oil while I put a drop or two of the Ear Oil in each ear.

I finish off my evening routine by massaging my feet with the warmed Brami Oil and put on my socks. Works every night for a restful night’s sleep!.

My husband has a problem with his inner ear itching, especially in the fall. One drop of this oil has helped tremendously! He had tried several other remedies, but this is the best.

I’m glad to have found an alternative to harsher ear medicines on the market. The bottle is small and fits in my hand well. It does come out a bit fast. A dropper bottle would be better for easier dosing.

The color is a burnt orange but doesn’t stain skin. It feels good in my ear. It’s a large enough bottle to last me awhile and I only use it once a day to relieve pain and loosen congestion. So far it’s been great to help me.

Overall, I have liked using this product and would recommend it to others.

It came in a big cushioned envelope. Inside was this small bottle in a nice box. I put three drops in my ear. I could smell the apple cider vinegar and could feel the alcohol. It seemed to work. No more ear pain.

It contains a few herbs and it is homeopathic. Instructions are included for adults, children and infants. I am not a medical professional so I can only say what works for me. Hope it works for you.

Whenever I have a sore ear or ear wax buildup, this is my go to. I heat it a little bit on a spoon so that it is even more soothing going down my ear. I am disappointed that it seems to have been pulled from the stores and you have to order it online now (makes no sense).

My German Shepherd (mix) has ear problems, right around this time of year he developes ear wax problems build up. I wash his ears constantly, but still the bacteria seems to re-grow and develope ear infection.

My Vet recommended Humco 100% Pure Seet Olive Oil to safely use on his ears. I love the product, it has a nice sweet smell to it, and Scooby Doo (the dog) doesn’t mind me putting two drops in both of his ears.

Within a week his ear ache seems to go away. As for myself, I have used it on my infected cutical on my right hand, within one day the infection cleared up. It really does work. Safe on babies too.

My wife brought these eardrops home from cvs and I almost cussed her out. $10. 00 for one third of an ounce of anything is pretty steep, but especially for eardrops! So anyway, I read the ingredients and did the math and what it all came down to was that it was that of the active ingredients mentioned, they would likely be in higher concentrations in a normal drop of tap water than in the specified.

Example : normal tap water has more belladonna than the. 0000000000001% stated in this proprietary formula. That still does not mean these drops were not effective! In fact, the inactive ingredients (glycerine and citric acid) do more to ease an earache than the “active” ingredients.

My son had an ear infection a month ago and we ended up using antibiotics, thinking it was the best option. When he complained that his ears were hurting again three weeks later, we found these drops as an alternative to more antibiotics.

We’ve put them in three times a day for four days and he’s on the mend. It helped with the pain and stopped infection. I’ll use them again for sure. Note – when I put the drops in his ears I got him to keep his head to each side for a least 10 minutes and I massaged around his ear and down his neck to relieve any blocked fluid.

This worked really well for my 6 year old who has a cold. He complained of his ear hurting in the evening and it was too late for the doctor and a prescription. I made a late night run and took a chance with this.

I biught this a couple of days ago as my ears were itch and painful as part of a horrible cold virus. I didnt want to take anti biotics so after reading the reveiews decided to give this a try. After 2 days my inner ears have stoppwd hurting.

They are slowly unblicking and feel less inflamed. Like the reviews its a lot less nessy than using olive oil and the smell is a sweet lemon. The only very slight negative is its not immefiately obvious that you have to squeeze the neck of the bottle to squeeze the contents out.

I was waiting for it to drip. A great hero prodyct in yoyr medicine cupboard. I will be trying the nasal spray for sinutis.

I have only used this product a few times so will have to see how it goes. I have very annoying eczema in my ears that causes blocked ears from the drainage, as well as lots of itching. I’m using Otosan once a week in both ears and so far it is stopping them blocking.

The instructions state that these drops help prevent infection, too. I bought them to try as a possible (hopefully) alternative to antibiotic/steroid drops to control the situation. So far, so good!.

I would consider these ear drops to be better suited to maintaining the health of your ears and to soften ear wax. The oil is long lasting, really great if your ears a dry and actually smells nice. It may not be best suited for a blocked ear where as a more aggressive hydrogen peroxide base is required, but as these can dry the skin.

This O. T. C. Ear Machine works awesome. I was sceptical at first but then I was really surprised this brand of ear drops although a little expensive for me I bought this O. T. C’S anyways. This brand of O.

T. C medicine for my ear pain has never been better. I’ve been using this O. T. C. Medicine for years n will continue to. It truly works when I have severe ear pain. I take it when I need it cuz it works so well.

Very impressed works great. I’LL continue to use it for years to come. I say yes go get this product. It’s number 1 on my list for ear drop pain relievers if ur ear hurts. I don’t think U will find any problems with this product.

It’s I think expensive but if it works this well it’s definitely worth the money.

I had a head cold and when I got on the plane my right ear became fully clogged (no pain). It didn’t clear, felt like I had a headphone on. The next day after it still not clearing I read positive reviews about this product and bought it at Walmart.

I put 5 drops in while sitting in my car in the Walmart parking lot on my lunch break and waited about 6 mins with my head tilted. Once I rose my head and began driving back to work the drops flowed out of my ear and I wiped my ear with a tissue.

I then noticed it wasn’t clogged anymore! Last time my ear was clogged just like this for two weeks I went to the Dr. and was on a strong antibiotic to get it cleared. (Augmentin). The ear clog that was just cured from Similasan felt just like the one that was cured by Augmentin.

I wish I had found this product earlier, it would have saved me a $200 Dr. visit. It’s worth a try for anyone with a similar ear clog to give it a shot for $8.

Bought this product because my PCP said I needed to control my wax build up in my ear. Worked just fine for the 1st two weeks then I got a horrible ear infection from its use. I called the 800 from the packaging to ask questions about ear infection and they promised to have someone with a “medical” background contact me.

After two weeks I still have yet to hear from them. I went to urgent care and the Dr. confirmed my ear infection. All Similasan did was send a return label to mail back the faulty product. Beware!.

My daughter gets sticky brown wax that builds up and makes it difficult to hear. I bought this product, used 3 drops and let it sit about five minutes while I massaged the jaw and moved her ear lobe around.

After it sat, I flushed the ear (bad ear facing downwards). It took about twelve flushes and a hard pebble of wax popped right out! She couldn’t believe the relief!.

I actually prefer these drops over the ‘normal’ Carbamide peroxide based drops. They seem to work better to soften ear wax in my opinion.

I have used these ear drops on children for the past 30 years. They work quickly and help everyone get some sleep. Often I have taken my kids into the doctor and there isn’t enough ear redness to warrant antibiotics (then 2-3 days later there is-and then I get the antibiotic).

This product is amazing. My ear laughed at lidocaine alone. When I tried this it calmed down enough that I wasn’t writhing in pain anymore. Now I can function as a semi-normal human again. Strongly recommend to anybody with chronic ear infections or even if it’s your first time around.

I was saddened when I couldn’t get this product. It’s fantastic and I have used it for as long as it’s been around. So glad it’s back!!!!!
