20 Best Oils For Face Serum (2022 Updated)

I recently jumped on the Milani bandwagon. I had never tried a Milani product before this week, and after watching Milani youtube videos, and reading reviews I bought a ton of stuff, and like it all! The packaging on this is wonderful, the end is a dropper and just drop a few drops on and your good to go.

It’s smooth, it smells nice, feels nice and I like how my skin has looked even after a couple days. I’m now a Milani lover! I’m looking forward to the next sale, and I am getting everything I didn’t get last time!.

This face oil by malani is amazing!!!! It moisturizes, balances, brightens, and evens out skin tone. You can use it as a natural radiant glow for the skin or even though it’s oil, it’s not greasy/oily onto the skin because it’s fast absorbing which is amazing and really great for using it as a primer before makeup.

You can also use this face oil on hair for shine and on body for moisture. It’s even vegan and cruelty free which we all love. So I really recommend you try this face oil.

Why haven’t I tried this before?! I loved it Immediately after my first use. It went on smooth and stayed smooth. It doesn’t dry up in a weird way like others I’ve tried. I really like the press dropper as opposed to the usual.

It’s lightweight and has a very subtle scent (although I usually prefer unscented facial products). I used this as a primer and worked perfectly. My CC cream went on smoothly and evenly and didn’t leave those little flakes on my skin.

When used alone it leaves my skin looking supple and refreshed. I definitely will be getting more.

Having been a Decleor fan for many, many years, I was absolutely mortified when I learned that Decleor had retired the fabulous Hydra Floral in favour of Neroli Bigarade. Hydra Floral used to be a beautifully rich, thick night cream, smelled divine & was exactly what my very dry skin needed.

I’d tried everything under the sun, no matter of cost, and Hydra Floral was an absolute lifesaver for me and my ultimate go-to remedy. So, you can imagine how disappointed I am now that Decleor have decided to abandon (they called it a replacement) that beautiful cream and turn it into a light, almost lotion-like, pot of ‘averageness.

’ It is now more suitable as a basic ‘light day’ cream and should be called just that. It no longer has that beautiful Neroli smell as HF did & more importantly, it is NOT rich, despite what the packaging says, and I am now back to square one & in search of another decent night time moisturiser.

There are much cheaper moisturisers out on the high street that are better than this & for a fraction of the cost! I’m sure a lot of people feel the same as me, having looked at some of the reviews on other Decleor products on here.

So Decleor, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back Hydra Floral. Neroli Bigarade is most definitely NOT a replacement for my beloved Hydra Floral!!!!.

Super impressed with this serum. I use it with my night routine as it has an oily texture which I find very nourishing although perhaps a little too oily for the day. The smell is subtle and pleasant.

I’ve been using for a little over a week now and I can definitely see and feel an improvement in my skin. I can’t say it diminishes the fine lines yet but it certainly looks plumper and healthier. I will buy again.

I have to disagree with the other reviewers in that I think this cream is a huge improvement on Hydra Floral, which for me was too light and not substantial or nourishing enough for my skin. I would have to re-apply Hydra Floral multiple times in a day or layer it with a rich serum or another cream even but this new cream has a fine consistency (in that it is not thick or gloopy but you can hold the jar upside down and it won’t run out), feels light and quickly absorbed by the skin, but substantial on the skin so that my skin feels comforted and adequately nourished (I have normal to dry skin).

There’s no “roll-off” if you apply make up over it (which is a big bug-bear for me with other brands) and my skin doesn’t feel tight throughout the day, which I love. I can touch my skin hours after first application and it feels “peachy”, not dehydrated.

I think this is a winner, and a big improvement on Hydra Floral, and I will definitely buy again. Love it!.

I thought this would be lovely but I’m really not keen! It smells lovely and citrusy but it’s so thick! I almost felt like I was spreading lard. Which is weird as it’s quite runny. I actually had to use a towel to remove some product as it was so thick on the skin! A little goes a very very long way! My skin does feel a lot softer from use! For a good hour after my skin looked very greasy! Maybe good to use at night!.

I have dry skin/sensitive skin and was desperate to find a new line after another line seems to be either discontinued or have s/c issues. Nevertheless, I have been enjoying many products from the MH line.

This hydrating mist has been a pleasant surprise. I went to the MH website and it was part of the bundle recommended for dry skin. Routine: I spray this on in the am before moisturizing, Vit C and spf.

It keeps the layering smooth and skin is extremely soft and dewy. I spray in the pm after cleansing and exfoliating. Then follow with the MH night time moisturizer and the MH facial oil. My skin is so hydrated the next morning.

Never would have considered something like this but it keeps my skin dewy (not sticky) and allows the products to work more efficiently.

I use this hydrating nutrient mist every day and it literally changed the game for me. This mist is amazing if used correctly, which I see a lot of people aren’t doing by their complaints. I wash my face (with Mad Hippie’s cream cleanser.

which I LOVE) I spray about 4 or 5 squirts of this mist into my hand and then massage/pat it onto my skin, then I apply Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum mixed with two drops of Mad Hippies Antioxidant facial oil.

(i mix them in my palm then gently massage onto my face. I follow with a jade roller from my freezer. then I moisturize 15+ minutes after. All of Mad Hippie products work together, I had cystic acne/hormonal and using their skincare has helped my skin dramatically.

with a well balanced diet of course. stay away from the high fructose corn syrup/bad sugars. that alone wrecked my skin. The past two weeks I started using the Vitamin C serum at night time in place of the Vitamin A.

, and I found it to work more efficiently with my skin due to the fact that i can see the difference in the morning. My texture on my cheeks looks more even, my all around skin tone isn’t blotchy. I am no longer waking up with under the skin cystic bumps.

I have not gotten one of those in months!!!! I am not saying that this mist will cure your skin care problems but used in line with other Mad Hippie products, it will make a difference. This mist is like a primer for your serum, sets the canvas for it, and allows the serum to bind to it.

It makes all the difference! Before this mist, I was just using plain water to dampen my face before applying my serum. This mist raises the bar. It makes me sad and upset that some people doubted this.

This blend of oils can be used in many ways – to moisturize hair, skin, nails, etc. , but I especially love to use one drop added to my very expensive serum. By mixing in a drop of the Aura Cacia to my expensive serum, it makes for a silky mixture and not only increases the content but enables the new silky mixture to spread easily over face and neck.

And adds moisture (I have dry skin). Many serums are silky, but the one I’ve been using and like because of the results is not.

I absolutely love aura cacia products. This one is a great night time option. It also smells absolutely amazing. Usually fragranted oils would make my skin break out but the ingredients are anything but harsh.

It is also super inexpensive.

I’ve used this for 7 years now. It is one of the best oils for any skin type. It helped calm my severe acnes years ago and healed my hyperpigmentation. I use it about 3x a week in combination with 1-2 other dry oils.

This is by far my favorite oil ever.

First of all I want to talk about to texture, it’s like a super super thick oil that feels really heavy at first and then works into the skin eventually. I have love hate feelings for it for that reason.

It felt like I needed a lot to be able to work it into my face and my neck without dragging the product and in turn dragging my skin. I used it as an overnight oil instead of my moisturizer because it’s so thick, and I didn’t have any problems with dryness in the morning which was pleasantly surprising.

It acted like an overnight mask basically. It made my skin very radiant and supple the next day, but has not don’t anything for my redness in the last 2 weeks I’ve used it. If you have generally even skin that is just dry, you would probably like this a lot.

If you are acne prone you might find this way too heavy. I have oily skin but need moisture at night, so this did the trick! There’s no scent in my opinion either which is great for sensitive skin. Overall I haven’t seen many drastic changes, but it hasn’t hurt to use either.

Again, I think if you have drier skin this might be better for you.

I was excited to try DamDam’s vegan rice drops oil serum, but I have mixed feelings. My first impression is that the serum is too liquidy for the bottle dropper. When you left the bottle lid and dropper, lots of serums continues to drip off, so be careful when you use it so you don’t spill.

Once on my face, the serum was a very liquidy oil texture. It made my dry skin feel smooth, but I was very surprised by the strong odor. The serum smells extremely herbal, even a bit smoky. I personally find the smell quite off putting, and I wish there wasn’t as strong of a smell.

My skin definitely feels smooth and fresh after using, and afterwards I put on my moisturizer like normal. I would give a higher rating if it wasn’t for the scent.

Let me start by saying, I LOVE this product. While small, it packs a punch – I noticed an improvement in my skin immediately. I love the different instructions they advise on the packaging and tried them all out.

Adding this while your skin is still a bit wet from cleansing lets the product really absorb. Mixing it into your favorite face lotion helps you glow. And wearing it as a mask at night makes you wake up with beautifully moisturized skin.

This product looks great on its own or is an excellent base for makeup. The controlled dropper allows you to dispose the perfect amount, and my skin felt refreshed right away. Highly recommend!.

I’ve been impressed with this – I ordered at the same time as shampoo to avoid getting something posted out from another company but it’s been great. Agree with previous reviewer about the smell – I wasn’t prepared for that, but once I realised it was lavender and not something unpleasant I have gotten used to it.

I’m mid-40s with early menopause and dry skin – this is really nourishing and hydrating but without leaving my skin oily. Would like to see in a bigger bottle, or with refills available.

John Masters Pomegranate Facial oil is my fav! This time I ordered the type for “mature” skin and it is a bit thicker than the regular variety. I believe it may have a higher concentration of actual pomegranate oil, which is naturally thick.

I have tried other facial oils that cost less, but they don’t compare to John Masters Organics. I highly recommend this product as a go-to daily moisturizer. It’s the only facial moisturizing product I use because it’s all I need.

Great for using on the backs of my hands too.

I absolutely love this facial oil! When I was pregnant, I suffered with really dry skin, but after discovering this oil, my dry skin quite literally disappeared. I have used John Masters hair products for a long time, but had never tried their skincare.

I am so glad I did. This oil soaks into the skin quickly and is light weight. It also has an amazing lavender scent. I highly recommend this facial oil for anyone who is looking for relief from dry skin.

IšverstiShow in original languagei’ve been using this for about a month and a half now, so i feel confident in recommending this product. i have combination acne-prone skin, and have struggled with stubborn post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation for many many years now.

it takes time to see results with this product, but that’s simply the nature of skincare- no matter how nice it would be to have quick fixes, visible results take patience and consistency. i use this almost every day, generally in the morning, beneath moisturizer (and sunscreen, of course), and with consistent use my dark spots have steadily started to fade.

i don’t find the mica really adds much of a glow or anything, and it’s kinda annoying to have to shake it up every time, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. as long as you don’t mind a glowy/dewy finish, this product plays nice with makeup, too (admittedly, i wear very little, but i’ve seen no ill effect on the cream blush and brow gel i frequent).

all in all, this is a pretty solid product, and not too expensive either (i’ve gone through maybe 1/3 of the bottle at this point, so it will last me many months to come). no harm in giving it a try!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI really wanted this product to work for me as I wanted to include natural vitamin C in my skin care routine. However, it didn’t. I used it for few weeks then stopped when it gave me small pimples and my skin was not as smooth as it used to be.

I have oily acne prone dark skin. I used to apply the oil after washing my face and while it’s still half-way wet. For the first few days of use I didn’t apply a moisturiser afterwards and that’s when I noticed that my skin became flakey and started to peel off.

It was weird for me because I didn’t have any burning sensation or any reaction or sensitivity to the product. I stopped using the product to let me skin barrier heal for two weeks then I resumed using the oil and i moisturised after application.

Few days in and I noticed that my skin was no longer smooth as it was used to be and there small pimples were emerging. I stopped using it and my face feels normal again. On a side note, I really hated the mica and think it is useless, and it may be what blocked my pores.

I will purchase this again and again. I’ve been using it both day and night, and while it helps moisturize my skin at night, I really love using it during the day, especially under makeup. This is a very lightweight oil, with a faint, pleasant scent.

You only need 2 to 3 drops to use over the entire face and neck and it absorbs super quick. The golden mineral mica adds a luminosity to my skin that really allows it to glow, without looking like I slathered glitter all over.

I love the radiance it gives my skin, and how moisturizing it is. Just for reference, I have dry skin, subtle fine lines and hormonal acne. This oil has not caused any breakouts, and I feel like it’s actually helped fade the look of older acne scars.

Like I stated above, I love using this under my makeup. I find that it allows my foundation to go on smoother, blend easier and the glow from the oil still shines through making my skin look amazing.

If I’m not wearing makeup, I make sure to use this oil anyway. It really wakes up my skin, making it look more youthful. I’m so pleased with this product. It’s a definite keeper!.

I got this product with no high hopes. Just wanted to introduce a nice oil for my skin to help with dryness. I’m normally combination/oily type skin but this helps my skin SO much with it not overproducing oils.

It soaks into my skin giving a nice hydration. I have also seen my skin smoothness improve tremendously using this. I use it only at night, every other day. HIGHLY recommend warming it up on your palms and pressing it into the skin.

Makes such a big difference when it comes to the product being absorbed into the skin! Love it. I will definitely be repurchasing! Product also lasts FOREVER!.
