Spectrum Naturals Canola Oil Spray is a great cooking spray. Keeps food from sticking. Is much better for your health. Makes clean up easy. Has a good taste. Not expensive. So where could you go wrong.

I use this brand of oil in my deep fryer for various foods, such as fries, pies, egg rolls, doughnuts. The flavor can’t be beat. I have used canola and vegetable oils in the past, but they do not surpass the peanut oil with flavor.

The other oils tend to leave a burnt taste on foods, where the peanut oil does not. I had read that peanut oil is the ideal oil to use when frying at high temps. I have used this oil to deep fry turkey in the turkey fryer, and once again the turkey turned out moist on the inside and pleasantly crisp on the outside.

One last thing to mention, I resorted to ordering online, since peanut oil was not available when I went to my local stores. Thank you for saving the day, Walmart.

Most people buy this for turkey friers, but I use this in my kitchen, making french fries, donuts, potato chips, etc. I chose peanut oil because it has the reputation of having a high smoke point. I run my french fryer at the highest setting, 400F, and it doesn’t smoke at all.

If it was poorlt refined, that wouldn’t be the case. When the fryer oil level gets low, say, 30 uses over the course of a month, I demp the oil in my grease pot and use it for things like frying erggs.

Even after all that heating and cooling, the oil hasn’t broken down to give a nutty tastel it’s still essentially taste-free, as it should be when new. The box is big (there’s a plastic jug inside, but the recommend not removing it from the box), so when I get it out to refill the fryer, I refill a couple of bottles that oil came in, and I keep the box where space is not so precious as my kitchen cabinets.

I think of peanut oil as being almost as thick as corn oil, but this doesn’t give food a greasy taste. I use it as a salad oil, mixing my own version of Good Seasons Italian. When I refrigerate the dressing, the vinegar/oil mix turns cloudy and thick.

My cruet is too tall for my microwave, and too light when half-empty to warm in a water bath, so rather than getting the dressing out and waiting 3-4 hours for it to warm up, I just leave in unrefrigerated.

Olive oil is too unstable for frying with. Lard is healthful, but it’s 2-3 times as expensive as peanut oil, so I save it for things like pie dough or biscuits. This is a very economical way to buy a really good oil for frying, and an OK oil for refrigerated dressings.

Online order, I got a less than 2 months expiry dated LouAna 3 Gal pack. There is no way we could use it in such short time 3 gal oil. Unlike other plant based oils, Peanut oil is profound to small after few months in storage, there is no way I want to waste.

Buying in bulk is a great way to save money, and I love that the resalable container can be stowed away in our pantry and I can portion out smaller quantities for quick access from my cupboard.

100% Peanut Oil – 35 lb. It’s a 5 star product but was damaged when received so yeah. Thankfully webstaurant made it right so only some of it was salvageable since I didn’t really have anything to transfer it to, good product though, decent quality, peanut oil (if you’re not allergic) is usually the best way to go, tastes better and is a lot healthier than most oils.

This is the best oil for deep frying basically any meat. we use this for our chicken wings, and even to deep fry our turkeys. works great! makes our foods taste amazing

I purchased 5 clear fry oils last week and was charged $25. 88. My husband purchased oil this week again for our business and was charged $38. 88. Can you please tell me if this is accurate and why the increase? Your website has both oils still posted.

Been using this oil for years, never had an issue. I have used the more expensive oils that say they keep foods from smelling and tasting the same. Honestly for us it was not difference. The Member Mark oil worked the same and last the same.

We even fry desserts without issue.

Love this product, have used it for many years. Now they don’t carry it along with a lot of items I need for my café. Seems like sams no longer wants to deal with small businesses. They have quit selling almost everything I purchased from them.

I thought all veggie oils were the same until I used another brand when the store didn’t have any Crisco. The whole family had a negative comment on my pan-fried chicken strips which I make often. I did notice that they were not cooking as evenly as normal and the color was not that appetizing.

The only thing I did different that day was use a different veggie oil. Never doing that again. I will stick with Crisco no matter what.

I will not buy Crisco vegetable oil again. I contacted them 2 months ago about some bad tasting oil I had bought. They never got back to me. I contacted them 2 more times to finally be told that they had tested the batch number and they said the batch was fine and that I will not get a refund.

They refused to take back the bottle I bought and test it. I am not impressed with their customer service and their lack of responsibility for the quality of their product.

Took several weeks to get this But it came before I ran out. I just wish I could still get more things from shipping cause it saves lives still keeps jobs going and is less risk than going out to stores.

People like me that are high risk even my daughter who is high risk due to terminal illness. Has to take the chance and go out to stores to get what doesn’t ship. And then she comes in cleans everything she brings in and herself cause to protect me and her husband who has M S so we all are high risk.

I purchased this oil at the beginning of the pandemic when I could get the regular canola oil. It is great for deep frying. I still buy canola for baking, but I also will continue to this oil.

I bought this for making tempura. It worked great. I accidentally took the oil to 426° fahrenheit ~ no smoke, no bad effects! The oil did not have any special scent before I cooked with it, but it gave the most incredible flavor to both the sweet potatoes and the shrimp that I cooked in it! I’ll always recommend and use LouAna peanut oil for tempura or frying! It was priced really competitively!.

If you’re not frying with peanut oil, then what the heck are you doing?! Seriously, peanut last longer, after each frying session. It withstands the heat better than any other oil. I would also say it adds to the taste of your food.

I really enjoy the aroma from Asian style peanut oil and use it as salad dressing oil. I used to buy it from 99 Ranch Supermarket. Turns out this time the oil is different. This one is more suitable for deep frying or cooking.

I googled their difference. This refined one has a neutral aroma (you almost smell nothing in it), but the cold press peanut oil or roasted peanut oil always smell very well. I guess I made the wrong choice.

But would still keep it for cooking.

I have been hunting and hunting for an oil that was USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project verified and finally found this product! I am so relieved. As far as I can tell from my research, this would be my safest choice for oil.

Always out of stock. Corn yields are going for use in gasoline, which drops mpg in ALL combustion engines and increases food prices. Someone makes big bucks off of that insanity, meanwhile, it represents a huge hit to the consumer.

My favorite cooking oil. You can use this to sautee, pan fry, deep fry etc. I use this in cakes as well. Comes in a variety of sizes depending on your level of consumption. It has an affordible price tag.

I think this is the best oil. Food does not taste greasy, has a clean taste so I can taste the food without the oil flavor in the food. Clean taste is like the tasty food you get fried in restaurants.

I agree with the other reviewer. It’s not as if we need to import rapeseed oil. It is widespread and grown all over this country. Surely, the price can be reduced to allow us to afford to eat healthily.

This is the best cooking oil and the 2 litre bottle is good value for money too. Its 100 rapeseed oil, which is one of the best oils for heating as it remains chemically stable at high temperatures unlike some other oils such as ollive oil that chemically change as they heat up, potentially being detrimental to health and those oils are best used only cold, in salad dressings, etc.

Fantastic product, spray into pan whilst pan is heating, wait for a couple of seconds and cook, I’ve done chicken pieces with added veg last night, and this morning fried 2 eggs and what amazed me is that you can taste the flavour of the eggs more, especially if you use Iceland organic eggs.

I remember thinking before – there is no difference between ordinary eggs and organic in flavour, well there certainly is. Well done, no more oils and fats for me as i have found something that works well and also – its the cheapest at Iceland than at other supermarkets.

Good for slimmers, but it’s thick due to the emulsifiers in it, it doesn’t fry things well due to the thickness and you can not get a good fried egg with it unless you do what I do which is put half of the new bottle into the previous (now empty) bottle and top both up with water and shake well before use, this thins it down and makes it a lot easier to work with and a better chance of getting a ‘normal’ fried egg, and less chance of it just sticking to the pan.

It’s great for roast potatoes or oven chips, anything In the oven really except large roasted meats. In all I would only recommend this if your adamant you don’t want any ‘syns’ or calories from your cooking oil, otherwise I wouldn’t bother with the hassle of it.

I have been cooking eggs for a good 20 years. every morning. I usually use a name brand. I was out, in a hurry and grabbed Target’s brand to save a dollar. My eggs are sticking to my skillet every time.

I prefaced with how long I’ve been cooking eggs to let you know this does not happen to me. I don’t think this oil handles the heat well (I have my burner on medium). Once the skillet heats up, the oil separates, smells and looses its viscosity.

Target is awesome and I know they will let me exchange it for the brand I normally buy.

I like the almost always lower price than that of the brand name vegetable oil. We honestly cannot taste any difference between good and gather brand vs the big box brand. Cooks well, never an issue with the oil being too thin.

I usually end up with good and gather to save money!.

I’ve tried so many different vegetable oils and I prefer to use only 2 on the market because of the flavor of some of the foods I cook. This oil doesn’t change the flavor even a little bit of what I cook when so many do.

It’s a keeper.
