20 Best Oils For Itchy Skin (2022 Updated)

I am completely enamored with this material!!! My dry, itchy skin was fully relieved. But what I really appreciate about this oil is how light it feels on my skin, how quickly it absorbs and how well it hydrates without leaving me feeling like I’m coated in goop.

Using a lot of lotions and oils in hot, humid weather is a pain since they make you feel even sweatier and stickier. Then there are the items that are light and non-sticky but do not provide sufficient hydration.

This oil hydrates well without leaving a greasy behind. It’s something I use before night and in the morning, and it doesn’t leave my clothes greasy. Another benefit is that it soothes and relaxes my dry skin.

The bottle was delivered with a broken lid. There was cream everywhere. I just reordered. I hope I get it correctly next time so I can use it. It did smell heavenly and my hands got covered in it from handling the package it came in, yes it was also all over everything it touched.

I went through a lot of trial and errors, bad acne periods, and skin irritations to finally find a moisturizer that worked for me. After finally finding one three years ago, my HG facial moisturizer suddenly stopped working for me due to an “improved formula”.

Therefore, I went on a desperate hunt for a replacement. I was so scared to go back to the market and look for a new moisturizer because I have EXTREMELY sensitive/acne prone skin and literally EVERYTHING makes me break out, so I did some research and it eventually led me to this product.

After reading endless reviews, I was finally convinced to try it and let me tell you that I was extremely impressed. After the 1st use, this cream began drying the acne marks that my old face moisturizer left behind and after 3-4 uses, my acne was 80% gone and my skin texture began slowly improving.

the only down fall is that this cream smells really bad to me. The smell does kind of go away after a bit but some always remains. My boyfriend hates it lol but oh well, it stinks but it works like gold!.

The first thing I noticed about this moisturizer was the scent, very odd, to me it has the sickly-sweet smell of a cigar or tobacco, I guess that must be the combo of neem and vanilla (it’s hard to disguise the smell of neem, but they did a decent job with this one).

Scent aside, this is moisturizer is supreme in terms of ingredients, with the first (most abundant) ingredient being neem leaf extract. I have dry, sensitive skin, and I use this on my face at night and day (works fine under makeup) with no issues.

I purchased this for itchy elbows (dry winter skin), and while it moisturized well, it did nothing for itching. I have continued to use it on my face though. I would suggest this for a winter moisturizer due to the high quality oil content, it may be a bit heavy in the summer unless you have really dry skin.

The odd tobacco scent dissipates once the cream is absorbed into the skin.

I am a huge fan of Honest Company products in my house, and we use them from bath time to pampering to cleaning house. I love their natural oils and their subtle scents. This body oil was no exception, with a light citrus scent and a deliciously silky application.

While my toddler is a little bit squirmy for any extended massages these days, this product would be perfect for baby massage. Even though she won’t sit still for a full body massage, my toddler still loves it when I use this oil to massage her squirmy legs after bath time.

I love rubbing it on my skin and smelling it to give myself a sense of calm after a long day. I used it on my toddler after bath time and after our post-swim class rinse. It wasn’t greasy and didn’t linger on her skin, but it did take longer to absorb into her skin than lotion, so I think it’s best reserved for calming moments like bedtime massage, and not on-the-go moisturizing.

One of the things this oil has helped with was to clear up some dry skin on the back of my toddler’s arms that mild soap and moisturizer alone have not touched. I wanted something mild, because the dry patches weren’t bothering her at all, so they didn’t “need” to be treated, but this worked like a charm! A little bit of this after a bath and on evenings in between baths and it started to clear up pretty quickly.

This oil was not an effective moisturizer for me, as it didn’t seem to absorb as well as my usual lotion, but it was a lovely way to seal in moisture and remove bits of wax on my legs after my at-home waxing session.

I don’t know that I would have sought this product out on my own, but thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this product to try and review—it will probably end up being a bathroom cabinet staple from now on.

Having children with sensitive skin can be very difficult. Dry skin, cracked skin, raw skin, eczema, etc. Even in the summer, but especially in the winter, it can be a constant battle with the elements.

Having sensitive skin also means being sensitive to the ingredients that are in products, and this has been a real issue for me. I have tried several creams and lotions to combat the problem, but they all have nasty chemicals in them, or they don’t work.

I appreciate that the ingredients in this body oil are natural and not petrochemicals which are often used by other companies (which actually dry out your skin so you have to keep on buying the product).

Calendula is my all-time favorite nourishing herb, along with Chamomile, and this oil has them both!! With little to no scent, this body oil really works, and now my babies have smooth skin. I don’t know how it will hold up in the winter, as it’s quite a bit drier in the cold Midwest compared to summer when I’m reviewing this product, but I think it will do the job nicely.

I especially used it after the kids had a bath and were about to go to bed, as this is the time they’ll be moving around the least and less likely to get it all over my house, but it does dry quickly, so that helps too.

I didn’t try this on myself, but come winter, I’m sure it’ll help with my dry skin then too! All in all, I would highly recommend the product and will be buying it when my current bottle runs out. A little does go a long way though.

I know Honest Company can be more expensive that others, but for me, quality is more important, and I’d rather not waste my money trying something cheaper when I know this works. This organic body oil is something I have ordered for a long time (even though I only recently rejoined). The only surprise is that the old formulary had. A lovely light scent and this does not. I think the old scent was due to shea butter contents or something, which is sad; but if still a great product and I would recommend it for anyone wanting a body oil.

Palmer’s soothing oil for dry skin is the best. I absolutely love this product. It helps with y extremely itchy and dry skin. If you have Sjogren Syndrome and you are looking for moisture for the dryness, this is the way to go.

I applied it first thing after taking a bath or shower; the wet skin sucks it right. Little goes a long way – can use on damp or dry skin.

Before I even had a baby I used this alllllll the time. I always was repurchasing. Which reminds me I need more !! I used for everyday moisture, back rubs , and after the shower luxury treatments. I’d sit on my bed and rub my rarely freshly shaved legs down in this stuff and put a face mask on and relax !! I loved using this on my big preggo belly and I ran out while pregnant.

I’m completely out and really missing this stuff. I’m not a big repurchasing person. If I buy an “extra” step product in my average ‘hair brush, shampo conditioner , soap and face wash’ , I do it once and then buy something else in a different category (if that makes any sense).

I don’t splerg ! So this is something that makes such a huge difference in my everyday life I added this into my everyday routine. I don’t get out much, so I’m going to be rushing to get some more hopefully soon !.

I purchased this oil hoping it would help with my acne scars and small wrinkles, and added it to my normal moisturizer as a “boost”. It is a very rich, thick oil and feels/smells great, but it was too rich for me and I broke out with very deep, painful acne.

It would be perfect for someone with dry skin, maybe not the best for those with oily skin prone to acne. I still love the rich texture and smell, so I now use it on my chest to help with sun damage, split ends, hands, and feet.

I would definitely recommend at least trying it to see how it works for your skin type. The scent is not so much like the traditional rose petal scent, but more like a clean, earthy scent, very pleasant!.

The spicy smell which the brand assures me is the characteristic of the tamanu oil wasn’t very pleasant. It also didn’t agree with my skin even though it says it’s for sensitive skin & I had inflamed patches on my face & neck.

Excellent oil. I have been applying it to an almost healed basal cell carcinoma, and also a new operation scar to the face; my consultant was very surprised with how well both facial areas looked. I would also recommend this oil for dry and wrinkled areas to the face a neck.

I have noticed a huge difference with my skin – no more of that ‘tight’ feeling. I believe this is because there are absolutely no additives to the oil plus of course it is organic.

I have extremely fine, dry and sensitive skin, I have been using face oils for a number of years, I have only been using this one for about 7 days but already I can feel definite improvement with no allergic reaction.

I absolutely love this. I am almost out and will need to be ordering some soon. I use this on my face, hands, feet, legs, chest, I use this on everything. I love how it makes my skin feel, I love how calming it smells.

It has become apart of my bedtime skin routine. It is absolutely affordable for what you get. I think everyone should have a jar of this.

I have psoriasis for more than 10 years, I do not really worried because the clothes covering. For several months I began to expand into my hands, use various creams and treatments but kept moving toward my hands.

I started researching the Internet looking for an effective method and found this Wise men balm. I did not hesitate and started treatment immediately. I could see the improvements to the few weeks of continued treatment.

The product smells good, nice and calming but for an eczema product it is super greasy and doesn’t get absorbed into the skin. Worst eczema product I’ve tried!

I was recently on a camping trip with my extended family. The mosquitoes were pretty bad and several of the kids respond to bites by swelling up pretty badly. I tried this on both of my kids and several of there cousins.

I know a couple of the adults tried it as well. The adults said it seemed to help their bites feel better. My daughter liked it as well. My son however was a different story. I was pretty generous in my application and he had bites all over his chest.

I was horrified though when several hours later I went to check on his bites and there was huge red areas around each of the bites. His whole chest and back were pretty much covered in red areas. He said they didn’t hurt or itch, but he clearly reacted to something in the oil blend.

I wish I knew which one it was so I could avoid it in future blends on him. I just wanted to warn other parents to be careful when first using it even if your other kids have been fine with it. My son is 4 years old.

I love Plant Therapy KidSafe EOs & blends for my kids age 3 to adult. It takes the guess work out of which oils are safe or not for them all. I also LOVE that they added nursing & pregnancy info as well.

We use Germ Destroyer in our homemade hand sanitizer & diffuser. I diffuse it if we feel a cold coming on, have guests over, or will be exposed to a group of people to help prevent us from getting sick.

It works like a charm. The smell in the diffuser is powerful, yet not overpowering & I get compliments when I use it when guests smell it. We also use a few drops in the tub with a handful of Epsom salt & baking soda, if we feel we might be getting sick or when we have been around a group of people.

I have purchased this blend several times & plan to keep it in my EO cabinet. This is one of the EOs I will be sending my college kiddo off with.

Absolutely LOVE this oil. I made a roller for my baby and have been putting it on her feet since she was pretty much a month old and we diffuse it every night, it works wonders for us to keep a relaxing routine and helps us sleep calmly.

My only warning to people new to this oil is that it contains blue tansy which works wonders but is strong in color so you should be careful not to spill or let it leak with blankets or baby clothes wherever you use it, but it’s a million times worth it.

This is a beautifully satisfying blend and a parent’s best friend!.

Of all the French pharmacy body lotions that I have tried this is my favourite. Regular use after showering gets rid of lizard skin on shins and seems to have a positive cumulative effect. Regular dollops on hips and ankles prevents itchy skin.

Although the cream Xemose is good the oil balm is the superior product.

This product was a life safer for my dry skin in the winter. It’s an oil but once it’s on wet skin is had a little bit of a lather that helps to clean the skin without stripping it. My skin gets super itchy and dry in the winter and this is the only “body wash” that helped to keep me hydrated.

It has a bit of a medicinal smell, but I don’t mind because the product is so good. It’s also really nice to shave with!.

This is a lovely moisturiser but it in no way at all addressed my itching. Passed it on to a family member with the same result. So, basically an expensive body moisturiser.

I’ve been using this on my body and I am obsessed. I just noticed another reviews saying they use it on their face which i’m shocked about. But it leaves my skin feeling amazing and not with a greasy feeling.
