Oils for oily skin can be used to help control sebum production, hydrate the skin, and reduce the appearance of pores. Some popular oils for oily skin include jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, and almond oil.
When choosing an oil for oily skin, it is important to consider your skin type and what you are hoping to achieve with the oil. For instance, if you are hoping to control sebum production, you may want to choose an oil with a high linoleic acid content.

I used this with the SATURN mask and OMG I am not exaggerating when I say I immediately saw a difference. I used the mask as spot treatment and rinsed with water after about 20-30 minutes. THE REVIEWS for the mask are unfair regarding the smell; it’s not that bad.
at all. but i the complaints are UNDERSTANDABLE regarding the quantity because it is not that much for $20 but it was DEFINITELY worth it to me & if the price doubled, I’d still buy it!!!!! I first washed my face with the ceramic slip cleanser as instructed.
Then I shook i up the mask so it mixed really good and applied as a spot treatment and rinsed with water. IMPORTANT I saw great results once rinsed but when I say, I saw freaking amazing fantastic results “after” applying the A+ high dose retinol serum (one pump) followed by the UFO acne treatment face oil (two pumps) then the luna sleeping night oil (two pumps) I swear I CANNOT STOP STARING IN THE MIRROR because it seems almost impossible that two hours later it looks like my acne disappeared… basically it appears as if the pimples have either disappeared completely or appear to be 95% reduced.
I soooo regret not taking before and after pictures. I did this at night and I sure do hope the acne does not reappear in the morning because this just seems too good to be true. I mean wtf, I am amazed amazed amazed.
The lady that helped me at sephora swore by the UFO oil and I am so glad I bought it. I initially went in to buy the UFO oil and this saturn mask and asked her if she recommended the UFO oil or the multivitamin oil and she swore by the UFO oil and it did not disappoint.
ps I really have moderate acne every few months or so but when I don’t have acne, I am in love with their WAKE UP WITH ME morning routine & the GO TO BED WITH ME evening routine….
i’m not usually the review leaver more than i am the reader but i’ve decided that this has been and probably will forever be a staple for me. i got it as a sample and didn’t touch it for a while but started breaking out very bad out of nowhere and nothing else was working for me.
i am very prone to breakouts, have combo to oily skin, and felt more or less defeated so in deciding nothing else could really go more wrong with my skin and was grasping at straws for what i could try (on hand before the full send) i did it.
the first night i tried it i remember waking up dreading to see how much worse everything got but my face already looked less irritated and red which for me ESPECIALLY with redness is not too common and it could’ve been the just waking up but it stayed that way even after washing my face in the AM.
i’ve become addicted and buy it in advance to make sure i’m never without it, i even keep it chillin in the box, with the amount of traveling it does with me it’s nice to know it’s in a safe space/won’t get wasted from an accidental leak/or crushed.
i might just be neurotic at this point but this product has really changed my life. earlier on when i was still skeptical i would go a night or two without it and the difference is immediate and very apparent.
if this ever gets discontinued my skin will perpetually never be the same/as clear and calm as it is now. i’ve tried so many (too many, really) things over the years and nothing has ever been able to hook me like this and i wish i was exaggerating.
if you made it through this go buy one, treat yourself, try it out, and join the addiction lol.
Ur girl is slowly transforming her skin from spotty mess to bright, smooth, and bouncy. The @sundayriley CEO 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum is one step in my gentle routine for acne-prone skin. It’s billed as a multifaceted way to quickly fight the look of dullness, dark spots, and discolorations.
And it’s $85 full-price. But is it worth the coin??? NGL, I had this serum on my backburner until my esthetician said that higher Vitamin C concentrate equals less breakouts. This was the only bottle I had on hand that clearly enumerated the Vit C percentage, and it was very high.
Cheers for brand transparency! Unlike many other serums containing Vitamin C, this one is shelf stable, which means I don’t have to worry too much about it going rancid. The creamlike texture is incredibly gentle and provides hydration.
With this and my toner mist, I skip a moisturizer in the morning and head right to sunscreen after this serum. I love these precious extra minutes! It contains glycolic acid, which gently clears out pores without bothering my sensitive skin.
In fact, it was another ingredient recommended by my esthetician to deal with stubborn blackheads. The TL;DR? If you are acne-prone and looking to treat dark spots and prevent sun-related aging, this is a great product.
If you can get this without breaking the bank, I do suggest it.

I love adding this little oil to my skin care routine. The bottle is super cute with a “hidden” push dropper in the elegant golden topper. I have also been able to travel with this without it leaking/spilled in all over the place unlike Traditional squeeze droppers.
The ingredients are simple and just work. Not a much of added fillers and chemicals. I use this on my cuticles constantly. On scars after a shower. I’ll even use a dropper full on my feet and elbows after moisturizing when they are extra dry.
For my face and neck, I always mix a small amount of my oils in my moisturizer and apply together at night after my retinol. Skin drinks it up and looks amazing, not oily at all. Also I noticed no dryness/redness from the from the dermatologist treatments (retinol, etc.
)! Depending on what you use it for, say just your face, it can last a very long time.
This came out of nowhere and surprised me! I did use a face oil before, a rose hip oil, but this has a completely different texture and feel to it. When I put in on, it feels like a moisturizing dry oil.
It spreads easily on my face, and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. I also found that it goes great with certain kinds of makeup. The over-hyper Kat Von D Good Apple foundation looks like a dry desert on me.
But if I mix it with this oil, I am suddenly able to spread the product and blend it properly without looking like a cracked desert full of holes. It does not have a perfumy scent. I can see someone complaining that it smells like cooking oil.
It does just smell like oil, because it’s not added any fragrance. I love this, and use it both at night before/after moisturizer, and under makeup, depending on what kind of makeup I am wearing.

I wanted to use this for a couple weeks before writing a review. I am obsessed with oils, but unfortunately a lot of them lead to breakouts on me except for a select few if I only use them at night after the rest of my skincare.
This one intrigued me because it is mostly cold pressed seed oils which are molecularly smaller and easier to absorb. I apply 2 drops over my moisturizer (ole henriksen strength trainer) in the morning and my makeup applies beautifully over it.
I apply 3 drops at night over the same moisturizer and my skin loves this stuff. It absorbs more than any oil I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t absorb entirely, there’s still a bit that stays dewy and glowy, but not a complete oil slick like others that just sit on top and never soak in.
It had made my skin SO soft and smooth and cleared any active breakouts. My skin was breaking out a bit when I first started using it, but my period was coming and was the real culprit. Because after my period, my skin cleared right up and I’ve been using this oil consistently day and night all the way through.
I think I’ve finally found the right oil blend for my skin. I have dry skin with occasional hormonal breakouts. I’ve tried Sunday Riley (Luna, Juno, CEO), Fresh, Josie Maran, Clarins, dermalogica, korres, etc.
If there’s a face oil in the line, I’ve used it! This one takes the cake. I’ve been wanting to try the True Botanicals Renew radiance oil, but this one is more than half the cost and works phenomenally.
So give it a try! (Pro tip: rub it between your hands/fingers and press it into the skin, not rub).
This saved my skin. My skin has been burning, stinging, and reacting for months, it got to the point where I can’t even wash it with plain water. I’ve used the cicaplast, the ceramide creams /Korean skincare and even plain sweet almond oil, some didn’t help at all, some help somewhat but they also break me out.
I had to forget about any makeup because I can’t prep my skin, looks terrible, and I can’t wash it off later. This oil gave me a huge jump in hydration, soothing and healing. I’m still dealing with these issues somewhat but this keeps them way at bay.
Removes the stinging feeling and I can wear my Kosas concealer again and it goes on smooth and doesn’t look so dry. I’ve even been able to go back to washing my face with Herbivore again. I will buy this again and again.
I’m so happy it works and doesn’t make me break out or dry me out further. Some oils have done that for me but for some reason this doesn’t. I’m very grateful. The deep oasis serum on the other hand inflames my skin really bad and burns and stings it.
It’s a curse to have dehydrated skin but not tolerate any of the humectants that work really well, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, fatty acids, glutamic acid, polyglutamic acid… still searching for a humectant serum I can tolerate to use under this.
Comes in beautiful Summer Fridays packaging like all their products do! This oil is incredibly hydrating two drops goes such a long way it’s incredibly rich and non greasy at all. I have incredibly sensitive skin which is also acne prone using rose hip oil alone breaks me out so I thought I’d try this blend of beautiful oils and it’s great – sits on the skin comfortably when used last or alone.
As rosehip is heavily scented it does overpower all the other oils and smells mainly of rosehip. The bottle also has a non drip stopper so it saves all the oil from dripping or taking too much so you get just the right amount you need to use.
I was initially quite sceptical about the price for the amount of oil as I usually go through same size face oil once a month but with it’s richness you only need a small amount so defo worth the price! Another great SF product!.
Improve the appearance of texture and tone, skin elasticity and cell turnover with this readily absorbed, 100% pure, Olive derived Squalane. Non-pore clogging, this oil leaves the complexion soft, nourished and never greasy.

GOOD FOR VEGAN*** Prodotto vegan, senza ingredienti di origine animale.
IšverstiShow in original languageThis is the first Sunday Riley product I’ve tried because they are pretty pricey, but now I see why. They actually work!! I’ve been using this product for about a month now and my skin looks amazing!! My redness is evening out and my face is so incredibly smooth and glowing.
I love it! There are a couple things I don’t care for very much. the smell (it is very strong) and how oily it is. I know it’s an oil so it’s supposed to be oily, but this just seems a little extra and it takes a long time to sink into the skin.
I thought maybe I was using too much so I cut back, but it’s still super oily. I use this in my night time routine so I have to sleep with a towel on my pillow in order to not ruin my pillowcases. Regardless, I will definitely be repurchading this product!!!.
Formulated with a hydrating blend of floral extracts, this orchid-infused oil helps you achieve a dewy, fresh-faced glow. How to use: After cleansing and toning, massage 3-10 drops into your face and neck.
Use both morning and evening. About Herbivore Founded by a husband and wife duo in their Seattle kitchen, Herbivore aims to make daily beauty rituals enjoyable and rejuvenating. Using raw ingredients like French pink clay, Brazilian gemstones, and Moroccan rose, each soak, mist, and mask in this therapeutic collection is thoughtfully blended from scratch.
Renowned as a powerful antioxidant with impressive nourishing, protective powers, rosehip oil is a skin saviour for many – and THE INKEY LIST’s sublimely simple version makes it accessible to all. Packed with essential fatty acids and skin-boosting vitamins, this 100% pure Rosehip Oil helps to hydrate skin, improving its tone and texture and minimising pigmentation.
Great for dry skin types, it hydrates, soothes and softens, while also helping to regulate oil production – thanks to linoleic acid – making it brilliant for oily and acne-prone skin too. Use it as the final step in your routine morning or evening (or both) for a beautifully nourishing, moisturising addition.
Oh, this feels so 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦! I’ve become a big fan of skin oils to give my skin a little extra softness, and Rosehip Oil is fantastic! I must say that I was initially a bit put off by the color – I’d never used anything so intensely.
yellow. (Due to a chronic illness, my skin tends to turn yellowish at times & my family notices very quickly; I was worried about looking more ill than I already am. ) My concerns were immediately put to rest as soon as I applied it, as a last step in my skincare regimen; the bright color completely disappeared as I massaged the oil into my grateful face.
I LOVE how my skin felt – buttery soft but not oily, glowing and a bit flushed from the light massage but not too red or too slick. simply, I looked like I had just returned from a glorious vacation at a luxury resort.
(Or how I imagine I’d look if I’d ever gone, anyway – next best thing. LOL) One caveat: a little of this wonderful oil goes a LONG way; just three drops are enough for my whole face and neck. Try it and see for yourself!.
I bought this after reading reviews of what it does as a lip plumper. I’ve been using it morning & night on my lips, letting it dry, then applying a lip balm. I love my results but I wouldn’t go as far to say that it is better than lip filler.
I would say it has helped my lips reach their natural full potential. I’ve gained some volume. My lips are now super soft & line free. I no longer need a lip scrub at all. I am absolutely buying more & continuing use.
I have also been adding this to my skincare routine. I’m not sure if this is doing much there because I’m using many great products & achieving beautiful results. It’s hard to say which are doing the most good.
On another note, if you are writing detailed reviews of your experience with products, THANK YOU! Your reviews are helpful, no matter how many hateful trolls click not helpful for no reason.
Fine lines have become much less noticeable on my 71 yr old face. Add collagen booster to my hyaluronic acid serum and my skin drinks it right up. Just a few drops are needed to cover my face & neck.
I’ve been using for about 3-4 mos & I can see progress is being made. I use several other serums, and retinol, of course. Consistency is key along with letting each treatment absorb 30 to 60 seconds.
Patience isn’t one of my strong points and waiting for each to absorb was a bit of a struggle but it truly does pay off. Do reccomend, believe you’ll be pleased with the results. Price is great too!.
Moisturize, condition, and nourish your skin with Josie’s 100% organic argan oil. Vegan. Cruelty Free. A Moroccan beauty secret for centuries. Buy now!
Your skin brought back to life, soft supple, alllllll day&night. Use it while showerlng with your fav bodysoap ( 1 dropper full ). Also good for dry frizzy ends. Just before applying conditioner I get 2 droppers full and scrunch it into my ends.
My hair drinks it up. This stuff has STAYING POWER too. Omg, its like it becomes part of your hair part of your skin because hours later (even the next day) my skin still looks and feels soft and supple.
I use it with moisturizer on my face too. Theres zero evaporation, your body and hair literally drink it in. And the proof is in the results! Its not magic in a bottle its hydration done right. There are 100’s of products with argan oil BUT their uses are limited because if its other ingredients.
This is 100% organic argan oil and its more than worth its cost for your skin. Im turning 52 this year and have not taken the best care of my skin until my late forties. Im a sun worshiper and Im telling you straight, “my skin and hair are all the proof I need to acknowledge the validity of this product”.
Pay the cost for this, I promise you your skin will be correctly hydrated, you’ll see!! Just wish it came in a JUG. Because even the largest bottle just seems sooo tiny for its many uses.
A powerful, lightweight facial oil that deeply hydrates, soothes, revitalizes and completely protects the face. Featuring 10 potent, purposefully selected plant and nut oils, this supercharged face oil boasts a bucket load of essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants, as well as anti-inflammatory properties.
Face Hero balances oily skin, hydrates dry skin and creates a bright, bouncy canvas for makeup. Its your all-in-one daily skin guardian, Face Hero is suitable for all skin types. It is lightweight enough for compromised or oily skins, nourishing enough for very dry, dehydrated or mature skin and is dermatologically tested to be suitable for sensitive skin.
Having been fairly active in the skin care community for over a year, I’ve seen a lot of conflicting thoughts over Go-To skincare. There definitely seems to be a cult following on one side of the line, with other people being staunchly opposed to the brand because of all the essential oils/ingredient list on the other side.
I was very skeptical of this brand and wouldn’t have tried it if it wasn’t for one of my friends (who is a cult follower and swears by this product). When I originally opened it, I was quite nervous as there was a very strong smell (it smells quite nice, but more like one of the essential oil rollers I put on my pressure points before bed to help me sleep).
I was extremely nervous I was going to breakout and it was going to make my skin go crazy, so I introduced it slowly (and hesitantly) – it’s now been a couple of weeks, and I’m currently applying it every night.
I really like it. I’ve gotten quite used to the smell and it’s actually relaxing putting it on before bed (I use it as the last step as I have an oil-free, gel-based moisturiser, but check the go-to website for instructions on where to use it in your skin routine).
It’s quite a light oil, so it doesn’t feel super heavy or like it’s clogging my pores, but definitely feels very moisturising. I started using it because my skin was very dry due to cold weather – I was also surprised that it didn’t irritate my red/dry patches – and it has done wonders (no more red, flaky skin!).
I have also noticed some improvements with my overall skin tone (not so red and uneven, although I have been using the Summer Fridays CC Me Serum at the same time). Despite still remaining skeptical of the rest of the Go-To line (I’m happy with my other products and don’t feel like I need to try more of this range), I have definitely been converted for this face oil.
My skin can be sensitive and was very dry and I haven’t had any issues (or any breakouts) since using this. It would be my top face oil and I will likely be repurchasing when I finish this bottle (I bought the full size one as the mini wasn’t available).
Got hooked off of a sample. Im just shy of 60. Menopausal/Post Menopausal. I got the dreaded beard. Along with horrible chin acne and thin dry skin. I kid you not, 4 days of mixing a couple drops of the sample with my moisturizer am & pm, Im shocked.
My chin acne is gone 75% the hair is softer. But my over all skin on my face, neck and chest is the smoothest its been since I was a baby. Now don’t freak out because its an oil. I spent my whole life trying to keep the oil off my face.
This is different, my skin drinks it. Luckly I have enough fat my wrinkles are minimal but I love it around my eyes. I have severe allergies, even on many meds my eyes run constantly. This is so soothing.
Hopefully I will be able to try the whole line and full size products. Thank you. Nothing worse then being old and looking like an acne riddled teen.
I have never loved a product more. I have zero time, a million kids and haven’t slept in approx 6 years. My skin looks like a leather handbag you left in the sun for a decade and I have only ever had a strict ragime of cleanser/moisturizer because, life.
Enter- Face Hero. I was sceptical, did I mention my starting point? And also, not a fan of 13 step facial routines. So adding an “unnecessary” oil was a lot to handle. But this product is the jam. My skin was bright and moisturized and delicious.
I want to bathe in this. I want to only ever be in front of a mirror applying this and breathing in it’s intoxicating aroma of magic. Worth it and more. Treat yourself.
This purifying facial oil works with your skin so you can target blemishes and live beautifully confident every day. It’s brilliant for oil-slick skin that gets blemishes when it’s having a bit of a day.
This bottle is little enough to fit inside your pocket, but you shouldn’t underestimate its power. Don’t be afraid to top up on the daily for clearer-looking skin. It’s a small but mighty oil, and only takes one or two drops.
Still not convinced? This stuff is powerfully purifying. And so refreshing you can smell it. Tag the oil onto your full Tea Tree routine or go ad hoc. It’s all good. Purifying facial oil Perfect for oily and blemish-prone skin Use daily or to target blemishes on your face Feels super refreshing Vegan.
I apply this to a clean and moisturized face at least 30 minutes before going to bed because I like giving my face time to soak everything in before it comes in contact with the pillow. My acne disappears at least 3 times faster with this product than with nothing at all.
And because there’s a shorter duration of inflammation, the hyperpigmentation my acne leaves behind is way lighter. I bought the small version, so I was trying to stretch it, but it works so much better when I use at least 4-6 drops on a q-tip when I have multiple zits.
You use a lot less product when you use your finger, but with me having such narrow fingers, it just rolls off. It’s not pure tea tree oil, but that’s a good thing. Pure tea tree oil has to be diluted with a carrier oil because it’s too strong to use on its own.
This is convenient AND it works. I’ll have to get the bigger size. I apply this to a clean and moisturized face at least 30 minutes before going to bed because I like giving my face time to soak everything in before it comes in contact with the pillow.

Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil is a miracle in a tiny bottle! A little goes a long way. Any time I sense a dreaded zit or hormonal breakout, applying this oil right on the area and letting sink in clears and calms everything down.
Sometimes the offensive bump is gone overnight (for the smaller, just emerging ones), and sometimes it takes a few applications, but always delivers–and without drying or further irritating my sensitive skin!! I love the feel and smell too, but I know some people do not.
I dont understand how we can be so advanced technologically etc. but there’s still no cure for pimples. This stuff is as good as its gonna get for now. Apply THE SECOND you see a red spot or just feel the beginnings of a pimple.
Keep applying throughout the day. Sometimes when I use this, I’ll have to apply it for the duration of time the pimple would have lived, but the pimple will never emerge. I have seen amazing results with this stuff, though again, I really think we should be past these struggles by now.
An effect closer to the original plants and flowers in their pure, unadulterated form. All of the base oils are a reprise from the original olio lusso — this perfect blend has an aromatic, intoxicating purity that leans floral-amber, not medicinal.
It explodes with aromas of lavender covered in morning dew. Air seems to open this oil up like a fine wine and it becomes much brighter with earthy, floral notes doing acrobatics beneath your nose. The effect is downright exquisite.
Applied morning and night, RODIN olio lusso Lavender Absolute face oil is perfect for anyone seeking hydrated skin, and a luminous complexion. It seems to just lift off the skin, leaving it soft to the touch, finishing delicate with a silken feel, and lavender etching into the mind.
Apply a few drops on a clean, moist face morning and night.
My skin can be pretty extreme, and I have been trying since I was 8 years old to get it under control. I have combination skin, both very dry on my cheeks and incredibly oily everywhere else. My skin is also extremely sensitive and always looks so red you would confuse me with a tomato.
My red skin is what started me wearing makeup at 10 years old in the first place, along with early acne. For the past year I have been trying new products specifically to manage the oil and reduce the redness so I can feel more comfortable in my skin and use less makeup.
This has done it. As I was researching the product it sounded great, but for dryer skin than mine. I thought I would give it a go and return it if I didn’t like it, and at first I definitely considered it.
The first few uses didn’t do much except make my skin oilier, though it was a little soothing. I kept using it at nights and after a week or so something changed. Now when I wake up in the morning I don’t look like I have a third degree sunburn or a rash, instead I can see my actual features and what I look like.
It’s a miracle! I have been using this at night, as it does tend to make my oily skin a bit too oily for day time, and my moisturizer during the day is the Rodin Face cream. I love the face cream, it is one of the only moisturizers that actually soak into my skin instead of sitting on top of it! And it has the same benefits as the oil, while actually helping control my oily skin (though it might not be moisturizing enough for people with only dry skin).
If people have the same issues I do here is a snapshot of what I use if you want to try: -Face washes: Darphin Intral with Chamomile, Origins Check and Balances -Moisturizeres: Rodin Face Cream, Rodin Oil Lavender -Face mask 1 to 3 times a week for clarifying, addressing acne, and improving texture: Glamglow Supermud followed by Glamglow Thirstymud In conclusion- keep using the oil and it will give you great results!!!.
This was a splurge for me as I live on an educator’s salary. It was worth it! Now I am hooked. (I guess I will need to find a side hustle so I can continue my habit. ) This oil has done wonders for my complexion.
I thought it would be heavy but it is very light and lasts all day. I have been on Zoom a lot lately and so I’ve been more aware of my appearance than ever before. I have noticed an improvement since using this oil for about a month.
I also received a gift of lipstick and it has become my new best friend. It will be my next Rodin purchase!.
I really love this face oil. It’s not heavy at all and really does give you a glow. I been using this for just over 1 month and people keep asking me if I’m wearing make up. I use it day/night after my regular routine.
I’d say a must for combo or dry skin. The price is why I gave it a 4 star but i haven’t found anything that beats the way this feels and looks.
Botanics 100% Organic Nourishing Facial Oil is a precious oil that hydrates, locking in moisture for hours. Infused with rose hip oil, which is rich in omegas and essential fatty acids, it’s a nourishing meal for the skin.
Leaves skin looking radiant and smooth with a more even tone.
For starters, Botanics facial oil is nothing short of amazing! I’m going to go into further detail as to why I’ve been living for this oil! First off, just take a look at the ingredients they are life! Some of my favorites included in this oil are as follows: Prunus dulcis it’s by far one of the most adaptable oils for skincare being that it promotes a softer, more nourished look as well as feel.
Another favorite is Arganis Spinosa kernel oil, it’s rich in fatty acids and Vitamin E. For me I found that it added a plumping effect to my skin. This particular oil is also said to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles and it DID that! Also, included is Rosa Canina Fruit oil and with this oil not only do the fatty acids and Vitamin A moisturize the skin, but it promotes skin regeneration and can improve our flexibility and permeability meaning improve texture issues and acne scarring.
Lastly, it contains several Citrus acids including, Citrus limon(Lemon), Citrus Aurantium bergamia Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantiun Dulcis(Orange) are among my other favorites! Citrus oils have always been a favorite of mine being that they almost act as a skin tonic so to speak.
Lemon acts as an astringent and is antibacterial and it helps condition my skin too! It gives me a glow and added brightness to my face. I feel that it’s due to the citrus oils in this product! I also thought I’d add the fact that since it features bergamot fruit oil it’s naturally good for those of us that have oily skin because it helps unclog pores.
Bergamot has an added property to balance oily skin out. The ingredients all pair very well together! Overall, this is a fantastic product and I highly recommend trying it! I did receive this product complimentary for reviewing purposes but as always my opinions are always truthful.
Pro tip: Try adding a dollop into your moisturizer for added glow/luminosity. #2 Pro tip: Add 2 to 4 drops to your foundation for that extra extra glam glow! Hope that helps yall!.
Good Molecules Bakuchiol Oil Blend for Dry SkinnnThis facial oil has been formulated for dry and dehydrated skin types. Giving you a boost of hydration on contact with the skin. The oil contains bakuchiol which works to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and combat loss of elasticity.
Really hated this product! It has so many good reviews on good molecules website so I had high hopes. The first night I applied it I loved it! It immediately plumped my skin and absorbed nicely. Then when I used it the next few nights I noticed my pores looking super clogged and my skin was dryer than usual.
Looked up chia seed oil and it has a comedogenic rating of 3. So I started using on my forehead only. After 3 months of on and off use my lines on my forehead that were very faint when starting, now look deeper.
This did not work for me and actually made my skin dryer for some reason. The bottle is very tiny and is annoying to use dropper at times because it’s so small. After 3 months there’s still half the bottle left though.
It smells very earthy like chia seeds, which I don’t mind. Overall would not recommend if you have larger pores.
my skin situation: i’m 38 with lines making themselves quite comfortable across my forehead and slightly coming in around my marionette area. i’m white with some sun spots and increased freckling. my skin is oily with noticeable but not large pores, and i am prone to occasional break outs- well, i used to be.
i only use this product at night, as it definitely does leave my skin a little shinier than i want during the day. that being said, since starting to use it nightly, my skin is so much smoother, brighter, plumper, and more hydrated.
i feel like a new person! i use it second to last no matter what other treatment i am doing, and i put a thick moisturizer over it. my skin was looking tired and dull, and now i don’t even bother with make up.
So far, I’m loving it and plan to purchase again for my ultra crusty dry winter skin. It smells like flax seeds so it has a very earthy fragrance. A little goes a long way–3 drops is enough for my whole face and maybe an additional drop for my neck.
I also have ultra sensitive skin and I’m having no reactions. My only pointer for Good Molecules is to get your shipping together–my items took a long time to arrive–12 days I believe–so I’m going to have to really think about that as I begin getting low on products.
Otherwise, I’ve loved everything, can’t beat the price, and was super pumped to see their safety ratings on Enviormmental Working Group’s Skin Deep causmetics database. Keep it up Good Molecules!.

This oil is wonderful. My skin had become dry, I purchased another well known make of oil, which made my skin even drier. I have now been using this oil for a few weeks and am so pleased. I just use a few drops, what is left in my palm I put on my hands.
I really cannot praise this oil enough, even my husband commented on my skin. What can beat that? I recommmend this oil.
What a delightful oil! Hands down, this is the softest oil to have ever graced my skin. I apply it after soaking in a long, hot beauty bath. It goes on after I use a lovely cucumber witch hazel toner.
Its a very nice complimentary oil. Most oils I have used weigh my skin down, but this one is as light as a feather. There is no odor and it absorbs quickly. The cost does reflect the high quality of this oil, so rest assured that this just might be the best jojoba oil on the market.
Thank you for crafting such a soon-to-be much coveted oil.
I have been using this oil for a few months now and I love it! I often get acne on my chin or hormonal acne and felt like a lot of oils make it worse. I have been using this oil every other night and my skin loves it.
It doesn’t make my acne worse and intact seems to calm my acne if I have a flare up. I also use this on my hair sometimes as a pre wash which is great. I use it often and still have loads left.

I was new to facial oils and having oily skin, was very sceptical of using it. This was the second oil I tried and I will never look back! I use this day and night. Sometimes I mix it with my liquid foundation.
I love it. I adore the smell. It makes me feel relaxed. It does absorb onto the skin very well. I use 4 drops and rub my hands together to warm up the oil and activate the ingredients, then I press my hands over my face.
It’s my little bit of luxury and relaxation. This has never made me breakout, in fact my skin has never looked better. I used to get very oily t-zone. This was always obvious towards the end of my 13 hour working day, but I don’t get this any more.
I have been using the same bottle of this oil for what feels like ages and I’m only half way through it. My pores also look smaller. I just love everything about this and can’t recommend it enough. I have tried oils since at triple the price, but This is the best in my opinion and I will continue to buy it.
When I was in my 20’s I suffered from acne and excess oily skin. I began seeing an aesthetician monthly for facial treatments. At the time I also started using this oil. My facialist really noticed a decrease in oil production in my skin.
In addition the oil leaves my skin soothed and comforted from some of the dehydration that takes place from acne treatments. I continue to keep this on hand and use several nights a week after toning and before moisturizer.
I’m in my mid 30’s now and I occasionally will have breakouts this continues to help! All the oils are fantastic from Clarins. Lotus is ideal for that combination acnaic skin! Love love love it.
I’ve used this for over 5 years and it never fails. Beautifully light and non greasy – this was my first facial oil ever! I always keep going back to this despite trying other facial oils. The scent is luxurious and very natural.
There are times where I would just use the oil alone without other products and it would still keep my skin healthy and nourished. I use it during all seasons and found that it works well for me. It has the perfect consistency which sits between light to medium and does not feel ‘heavy’ on the skin.
It never brought me out despite my sensitive skin. Love love love!.

When it comes to oils for oily skin, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, you want to make sure that you are using an oil that is non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog your pores. Second, you want to look for an oil that is light in texture and won’t leave your skin feeling greasy.
And lastly, you want to find an oil that is specifically formulated for oily skin types.
With that said, here are a few of our favorite oils for oily skin:
