20 Best Oils For Pregnancy Belly (2022 Updated)

First time using a belly oil shine my pregnancy and I’m hooked on this brand!! Did some research and they are owned by an amazing company that focuses on healthy, natural cosmetics. This product smells amazing, soaks in well and pairs well under other lotions and lasts throughout the day/night without any heavy residue! New favorite brand!.

I splurged on a recent offer and bought a bunch of pipette products without ever having tried the brand before. I truly wish I knew of them earlier in pregnancy and it would have saved me from various belly oil trials, leading to plenty of smelly clothes later.

I can’t speak to their capability of fighting stretch marks yet, but we all know that that’s mainly genetic anyways. I can say however that this oil is so therapeutic to use – the smell is gentle and like in a spa, it absorbs fast, is kind to my sensitive skin and overall my favorite part of the daily care routine.

I use it with the butter (somewhat by mood – the oil often in the evening, butter in the morning). and I will certainly keep buying if I run out. Thank you for such a great product! :).

I’m not pregnant, but have been using this as a moisturizing oil. It’s moisturizing, a little heavier than some oils. But the smell is strange. It’s very light and not too noticeable. It disappears. It’s a very plasticky smell.

That’s the only gripe I have with this product. Will probably do the fragrance free oil next time.

I love this oil for my 38+ week pregnant belly. I am a little sad i did not try it out and use it earlier. I LOVE the smell, it is subtle but comforting. The main selling point for me were the natural, organic ingredients, especially the lack of synthetic fragrance.

I usually dilute 2-3 pumps of the oil with a little water mist to help absorption, then spread it all over my belly. It has become a ritual i so enjoy after every shower, and every night before bed. Sometimes i also apply it after getting up in the morning if i want to really pamper myself.

I cannot say anything about stretch marks. I did not have a single one appear in my pregnancy so far and started using this oil only in the final weeks of gestation. My husband loves how soft the oil makes my skin feel.

The bottle is sitting out in the bathroom for easy daily access, but hubby knows that he needs to add it to the hospital bag should we suddenly have to get going ;-). I enjoy many Badger products (adult sunscreen, mosquito spray).

I am using this oil from the 2nd trimester of my pregnancy. Genetically, I was expecting lots of stretch marks since my mum had many. I am at 9 months in my pregnancy and I do not have any stretch marks at all, thanks to the oil! Recently, I am applying it twice a day.

At the beginning, I was applying only once. I trust Badger products in general a lot (also the sun screen), and I beleive it is very safe to use during preganancy. It is much better than many great smelling but chemical products.

By the way, I also like this oil’s smell and structure. Just bought a second bottle last month.

I absolutely love using this for my growing belly & breasts. It smells absolutely heavenly & it helps my skin feel so good. I will have to buy a second bottle soon. I highly recommend.

Firstly. This smells divine. I first came across this brand 9 years ago with my first pregnancy and have used it religiously in each of my pregnancies that followed. I used it after after shower and also at other times of the day if my skin over my bump was feeling tight and overstretched.

I’ve had 5 pregnancies and have absolutely no stretch marks. I used in conjunction with the Tummy Butter in the same range and felt the elasticity in my skin definitely improved. Amazing product, would definitely use it again with any future pregnancies.

I have been using this product for about a month now and I can say what a difference it has made to my skin. My asking is quite dry sometimes, and applying this oil makes it soft and moisturised. It definitely improves the elasticity of my skin It is light in texture and it absorbs quickly.

The scent of orange is very subtle and it feels like a treat every time a use it. The price point is good too.

Loved this product in my pregnancy. Luxurious & feels like a treat to get out the shower & put this on. Mild pleasant scent & thick silky texture is lovely, The pump dispenses a good small amount so you’re not overwhelmed by product as a little goes a long way.

I would wait to put clothes on as it does take a while to sink in. I used this from 8 weeks pregnant & didn’t get any stretch marks.

I have lost a significant amount of weight over the last few years and I have noticed lately how many stretch marks I have on my body. It prompted me in wanting to taking better care of my skin and lessening the appearance of my stretch marks, and I am so happy with my results with this oil.

The bottle is nice sized and I think the design is cute and easy to pour out and dispense the exact amount that I need. The first thing I have to mention is that it is scent free which is really nice, as most of my products are scented and can sometimes irritate my skin.

I love how silky this oil feels, it really sinks into my skin and I love how soft my hands and skin feel after using this. It absorbs quickly and does not leave a mess on my clothing or on my sheets like other stretch mark products I have tried, have done.

I like to apply this oil at night time right before my bedtime, or even in the morning for extra hydration and to help my stretch marks even more. I have noticed that my marks are looking a bit softer and less noticeable, and there are a few that look like they have almost disappeared.

I absolutely love the results of this oil and will continue on using it to help my stretch marks. Many of my friends commented how great my stomach looked while I was in my bathing suit, and I told them about how this oil has been helping my skin so much!.

I have used many creams, lotions, potions etc lol to help keep stretch marks away and nothing performs like Mustela. This oil is so amazing I am sad I didn’t use it with my first three babies, maybe my stretch marks wouldn’t be as bad! I apply in the morning and by bedtime I can still feel this on my skin but not in a greasy oily way, just in an I am still hydrated kind of way.

This stuff lasts all day and it goes on easily so a few sprays on the belly will cover the entire portion. I make sure to put it on my arms and thighs and lower back to make sure that skin stays smooth and hydrated as well.

As long as my skin doesn’t get dry my existing marks won’t get any worse. This is now the only oil I will be buying. My sister in law just found out she is expecting so I have this along with the bust firming cream and lotion being delivered to her house as a congratulatory gift.

If you are looking for a long lasting non greasy great smelling oil then look no further, Mustela will not disappoint. I also ordered their baby wash and lotion, figured if their mama line works this great the baby products will be amazing!.

I really love the Mustela range. I first discovered it when my first born was teeny as they do a nappy area lotion which was amazing. So when I fell pregnant with no2 I knew I had to try their pregnancy range.

It’s just as gorgeous as I had expected. The products are never too sticky / oily, they leave your skin feeling hydrated and smelling amazing too.

During my first pregnancy I would use palmers cocoa butter and that did nothing for me. I got a ton on stretch marks, so bad that I don’t feel confident wearing a two piece. Not wanting to get any more I decided to use this when I found out I was pregnant again.

I started using this after every shower (once AM, once PM) and got ZERO stretch marks!!! Not one! I was honestly in shock and so happy. I really wished I knew about this for my first pregnancy. Now In expecting again, I’m about 10 weeks and already started using it.

This product is very nicely packaged into a spray type bottle which is the only one I’ve purchased like this and its perfect. Creates less mess! Easy to apply! Price also gets 5 stars. This is an excellent oil with good ingredients at a very good cost compared to other brands.

4/5 stars for scent and overall use. The scent is very light – lighter than the oil and citrus like which is excellent for sensitive noses in pregnancy, i prefer more scents but this would be excellent for nauseated moms.

Overall 4/5 stars for use, it is very moisturizing without being overly greasy, works well after a shower or bath, its not as firming as other oils I’ve tried but it does a good job as a moisturizing oil and definitely makes skin feel soft a supple.

I want to add i did not feel like I had to wait a long time to put clothes on after applying. I would buy this again and recommend it to others. I use the oil after showering and I use the lotion at night before bed.

I use this in combination with the belly butter. The oil is super hydrating, doesn’t stain your clothes, dries pretty quick, and helps with itching. I started getting a stretch mark on my breast in early pregnancy.

I am heading into my 3rd trimester and I’ve been using belly oil & lotion since I found out I was pregnant, but the oil I had was too sticky and uncomfortable to wear, so I did a bunch of research on belly oils specifically.

I like to use oil at night and lotion during the day. It was between this one and a super expensive belly oil and I’m so glad I followed my gut and tried Natalist!! First of all, the smell is amazing, and I love that it’s in a spray form.

Most oils have the medicine dropper and it just gets messy and hard to use. It spread so nicely and evenly on my skin and absorbs perfectly. For the price, you can’t beat this product!!.

My skin is pretty sensitive and I typically get an itchy uncomfortable feeling when I use anything that has heavy oils but the natalist Belly Oil is really kind to my skin! It was super light and smelled great! I feel good using a generous amount of this oil because I know it’s going to actually get absorbed in my skin instead of sitting on top of my skin for hours.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think that the application could be better. I like the idea of a spray bottle because it helps apply a larger area but I would prefer a more controlled way of application because some of the mist goes into the air rather than on my skin.

Also, the nozzle leaks when I spray which isn’t a big deal but I just have to remember to wipe the bottle after I use it so I can keep it clean. Other than that great product!.

I got this oil in the middle of my second trimester, and I have to say I really enjoy using it. I use it after a shower to really lock in moisture, and it feels very soothing on the skin. The price of this oil is also really appealing, especially since it sounds like whether or not you get stretch marks is mostly genetic, so I didn’t want to spend $40+ for a belly oil.

I like to scent of this product personally, though it is a bit heavier than something I would normally use (I gravitate towards unscented products). Overall, I would say if you want to test out a belly oil, this is definitely a great option! And I love supporting this brand :).

This was the first product I purchased to moisturize with. I find oils easier to use than balms since they can be rubbed in faster and easier. The smell of this was great. I would say one con to this is the price.

I am not sure it is above and beyond any other product so I would probably try another one with I run out and need to repurchase.

I love this oil! It feels really nice and silky. Keeps my skin so soft and keeps the stretch mars to a minimal and smells WONDERFUL. A little goes a long way so tjis bottle will last you awhile. I would buy this again.

This product is made with vegan ingredients, lavander and hips help prevent stretch marks. You can use it all over, not just for the stomach, use on hips, breast and thighs to provide moisturizing rwlief to stretching skin.

Is an excellwnt way to care your skin after pregnancy.

I use this on top of a belly lotion. It’s not oily, the smell is not strong. It smells like essential oils. I’m not sure if it helps. So far I don’t have any stretch marks. I would recommend this for layering but maybe not a stand alone intervention as it seems to be on the light side.

I reviewed the belly butter, and while it is early to post a review for this as I have many weeks to go in my pregnancy, I’ll review the product as is for now. I use this first and then put the belly butter on top.

The jar is EXTREMELY tiny, and the oil is on the thicker side so I have to use a few sprays to cover all of the areas I want to avoid getting stretch marks. However once lathered it is definitely an oil and keeps my skin hydrated for quite some time.

Some other reviews described the small as “spa like” and I would agree. I am neutral about the smell it’s not bad and it’s not great but I am totally fine with that. The price is a little high for the quantity, as I use it twice a day and I’m guessing I’ll have to buy at least one or two more jars to extend me to the end of pregnancy.

BUT if it works, then it’s worth it. Maybe if they could just make the bottle a little bigger.

I do really like this belly oil, and the fact that it absorbs quickly. My one issue with it is the quite strong celery-like smell. I’m not super bothered by it so continue to use it, but I definitely wouldn’t categorize it as a pleasant smell.

Just be ok with a “natural” smelling product. Other than that it’s great.

I tried a few different oils during pregnancy and this one was the best. Smell didn’t bother me. So easy to rub on a large area in less than 1-2 minutes. Absorbs well. I even bought it for a few fellow expecting mom’s and they loved it too.

The consistency of the oil is very nice and it moisturizes my belly well. The only issue is that it smells so bad! It’s a really earthy smell. Not sure how else to describe it. Not pleasant for this pregnant mama’s sensitive nose.

Will not purchase again for this reason.

I am so pleased with the Zoe Organics Belly Oil! I have acute eczema, genetically prone to stretch marks and I am in my first trimester. I wanted to get ahead of the game and start treating my chest, belly and hips daily with a non-toxic oil that’s safe for me and my baby.

Currently, my sense of smell is heightened and nausea is a regular occurrence so I am grateful for the lovely scent of this oil. I highly recommend and plan on using it throughout my pregnancy!.

I’ve used a ton of body oils in the past, this is the best one yet. I know it’s supposed to be a belly oil but I’ve used it all over my body. Even though it’s too early to tell in terms of how effective it is against stretch marks (I am also using a body butter just in case!), I am loving the product! The oil feels very light, almost a water like consistency so it glides around my body easily.

It leaves my skin feeling supple without sticky. Moreover it has a natural citrus scent that feels luxurious without offending the sensitive pregnant nose. The glass bottle is an elegant addition to my bathroom.

The price for such a big bottle is also very reasonable. I will probably keep buying this and use it as a body oil even after I give birth. The only suggestion I have might be for the company to change the packaging to a pump.

The dropper is a novel idea in theory, but in practice it has 2 disadvantages. 1) keep opening the bottle expose the oil to more oxidization. 2) the dropper is so long that some oil leaks/runs down from the side when you use it.

That said, I still love this product!.

Nice hydrating oil without any strong scent. If you want to feel luxurious and splurge on yourself a little it’s not a bad choice. I’ve been using it since early pregnancy and am now 39 weeks, I have still gotten stretch marks but I know that no product is going to completely prevent them.

I probably wouldn’t buy again due to the price point but it was a nice first time pregnancy treat.

I have used this throughout my entire pregnancy, and I have not gotten any stretch marks on my belly. I have gotten a few around my hips and inner thighs. However, they are pretty light and minor. My husband was skeptical in the beginning stating that he was sure all pregnant women get stretch marks, and it would be a waste of money.

After seeing the results, he started reminding me to put it on :). My only complaint is that it’s shown in some of the photos with a dropper to assist in putting it on, and I’ve never received a dropper with either of my 2 orders.

The dropper would certainly help. Otherwise, you start losing the product from it leaking down the side of the bottle. I have to keep it in a plastic bag to protect whatever I have it sitting on.

I have tried several naturally made products throughout my pregnancy to stay moisturized. Many of them were so thick that I would see the product showing through my shirt, and would have to spray my shirt with stain remover to ensure the oils didn’t damage my shirt.

However, this product rolls on nicely, requiring less time for application. I feel like with other products it had felt like an entire “routine” that I needed to apply, but this applies so quickly that I don’t feel overwhelmed every time I apply it.

I also like that while it has a nice smell, it doesn’t have too powerful of a smell, but still nicely moisturizes. As for stretch marks, I do still have them as I know it’s hereditary and is actually happening on a deeper layer of my skin, but I am grateful to be staying moisturized by this product in these winter months of pregnancy.

Love how silky it feels. Probably too late to the game for stretch marks but helps my skin feel supple and less like dry tissue paper. Will definitely be gifting it to my best friend who just got pregnant with her first! I like the roller application but I end up rubbing it in with my hands anyways so the eye dropper probably works just as well.

The oil is easy to apply and rubs in easily, doesn’t leave any residue and definitely no greasy feel! Partner doesn’t notice it. No smell at all, very neutral. 4 stars instead of 5 because the moisturizing effect doesn’t feel very long term, but using it every 24 hours has kept itchiness away.

This belly oil feels and smells amazing! It also has relieved the itchiness I have at times. So far, no belly stretch marks at 26 weeks pregnant. Is it because of the oil? Maybe? I’m not sure, but I love it either way.

I absolutely love this body oil. The smell is divine. Both enticing and addictive! A little goes a long way, especially if used on damp skin. My skin loves it. I have tried several different body oils bit I will definitely repurchase.

I alternate between this and One Love Skin Savior on my baby bump. This is a much lighter moisturizer that absorbs quickly- which is great for days I don’t want a heavy layer of lotion. I love the light and refreshing smell.

No stretch marks yet at 34 weeks!.

This oil feels hydrating, smells nice, and isn’t greasy on the skin. I am not currently pregnant but actually bought this because I was looking for an oil that was moisturizing and doesn’t contain toxic ingredients.

I’m also hoping to prevent further stretch marks on my hips. I didn’t read the size before purchasing so I was slightly surprised that the bottle was smaller than I expected.

I purchased this after trying other well known tummy butters and oils and I must say this is stunning. It isn’t greasy or sticky it absorbs quickly. It smells lovely and natural like lemon essential oils, I also add a couple drops into my bath so I can soak in to it.

Then Apply to my bump, hips, breasts, thighs and lower back, I use it anywhere that can stretch. I’ve noticed since using I get no itching which is amazing. I will purchase another as this one is nearly gone.

Would recommend to any pregnant women.

I’ve been buying Body Oil both from Hive to Home, and from local stores for several years. I was so happy with how it smelled and moisturized my skin. Then I saw you changed the label (I prefer the old one), but also noticed the color and the scent of the oil has changed completely, despite the ingredients listed are identical.

I want to buy the old bottles if you have them instead. The former oil is superior in my opinion. The new product is not the same.

This oil was a little more expensive when I was pregnant a year and a half ago and it’s good to see that it has gone down slightly. I bought it anyways nonetheless. My family is absolutely prone to getting stretch marks from just growing to having little ones.

I used this religiously at least twice a day. Everywhere I could put it. I came out of my pregnancy with literally zero new stretch marks. Zero. I was surprised because it was unheard of and so were all the women in my family and my friends who have had little ones.

This is an amazing product! I use it still and it keeps my skin hydrated and still no new stretch marks aside from the growing ones I’ve had most my life!.
