20 Best Oils For Thin Hair (2022 Updated)

I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long.

My hair is easily weighed down, doesn’t hold texture, doesn’t hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out.

I can’t even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I’ve always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape.

On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too.

Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn’t have the weight and texture that make my hair limp.

It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don’t know if I’d try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don’t know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.

My always dry hair became very damaged from a combo of highlighting and overly hot heat tools. I bought this in the large size in an attempt to help heal my life over-processed locks. It did nothing at all to change the condition of my hair.

I have worked hard on restoring my hair’s health. Though this product was for me a waste of money (and it isn’t cheap!), I was able to help myself by massaging simple canola oil into my hair and scalp a couple of times per week, by cutting off the frazzled ends and reducing my shampooing to not more than once weekly, and by lowering the temperature of my heat tools, which I also only use once weekly.

The canola oil has worked really well. The day I do it my hair does look oily, which is a very rare look for me! If I need to I will use a little Moroccanoil dry shampoo for light hair, which helps. This treatment oil probably works well for less damaged hair but really did not help mine at all.

The canola oil has no fragrance, is vastly less expensive, and has helped me tremendously. I do love the fragrance of these Moroccanoil products, though! I may buy the dry shampoo again just to apply sparingly when I give myself a canola oil treatment, but I will not buy the treatment oil ever again.

If you have hair like mine – dry, coarse and damaged, you too may find a simpler and less costly solution. It’s worth a try, no?.

I originally got this as a free sample for my birthday, but I loved it so much that I had to buy another bottle once that one ran out. I don’t think I’d go back to not using it. I think I mainly started using it for facial hair after learning that oils help get makeup off of it so your beard doesn’t look weirdly powdery after putting on makeup.

Then I figured I’d try this on my facial hair and see how that goes, and though I’m not sure how well it’s working for use with makeup, it’s definitely great for making hair soft! I’m transitioning and on hormones, and initially I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about growing a beard or even keeping one, but it just feels like a normal part of my face now, and being able to keep the hair soft and not pokey definitely made a difference in deciding to keep it.

It also smells good (kind of a marshmallow scent?), and the smell isn’t overwhelming while wearing a mask. Overall, absolutely love this product, and despite how small the bottle is, it lasts quite a long time even with daily use.

In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands.

I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy.

My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing.

I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands).

However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing.

With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash.

I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair.

I feel that I can find a cheaper oil to smooth my hair after blowing it out.

For me, 2021 will go down in history books as the year of my tireless quest to find a reliable hair oil. Two of my fav products ended up being Ouai and Olaplex 7, but they truly accomplish VERY different things.

Ouai oil is HANDS DOWN the most lightweight and flexible oil for every day use. While Olaplex does a notable job strengthening your strands, it can very very easily weigh down your entire look. Ouai does not! I’m serious.

I’ve added it to finished curls (pictured), blowouts, flat ironed moments, etc. , and it NEVER deflates my styling. Rather, it ALWAYS makes my hair look like an enhanced version of whatever I intended.

Some days I even add it to my unstyled hair, because I know it will at least level me up from tragíc mess to ~presentable~. It also smells DEVINE! Like magnolias! The only negative is that a bottle of Ouai does not last nearly as long as Olaplex 7.

Since the formula is lighter, you not only end up using a bit more product naturally but can easily find yourself applying with a heavier hand than needed. An extra pump may not weigh you down with grease (still a W on its own), but it will eventually force you back to Ulta earlier than your wallet appreciates lol.

wow i’m blown ouai with this hair oil! (get it?) anyways. Coming from a man with short hair I love applying this oil to my hair after a shower! Just one pump leaves my hair smelling like flowers 💐 + instead of being dull its easier to manage when I want to style it + it looks healthier over all.

If you don’t enjoy fragrance, particularly strong floral scents. STEP AWAY, from OUAI! It’s not a cheap product, but it’s lasted me a long time! It’s multifunctional as it’s smoothing provides protection from heat up to 450°.

I don’t find it to be a very heavy oil – it’s just right 🤩 This Vegan formula features Borage Oil, Galanaga Root Extract and Ama-Oil 😯 Keeping it real as always, I wouldn’t recommend you splurge and buy this product if you don’t have the extra money to blow.

I can’t imagine the luxury price point is actually justifiable when there are so many alternatives on the market (even at the drugstore) However, if money isn’t a problem or if indulging in a beautifully smelling, luxurious haircare product makes your day – go for it! Additionally, if you’ve ruled out cheaper alternatives.

I bought this because a hair oil I used for years stopped being sold, and I used to love Moroccan oil in high school. I have very long hair (it’s at the small of my back and I’m 5’7″). It’s kind of a light-brown/dark-blonde with a hint of red, moderately dense, but the individual hairs are mostly fine and prone to both dry ends and oily mid-lengths.

I always use a curl cream and a hair oil to bring out my waves and keep it soft. My last oil treatment had water as the first ingredient and my hair absolutely loved it. What I liked: A little goes a very long way.

Tipping the bottle quickly to coat my fingertip was enough for my wet hair (plus a bit less on the ends when dry). It smells amazing, definitely lived up to my memory of that dreamy Moroccan oil smell.

As soon as I applied it, my hair felt wonderfully silky and easy to run my fingers through. After I let it air dry as usual, my mid-lengths were very soft, and even the dead ends felt a little nicer to touch (I really needed a haircut when I tried it).

The shine is absolutely incredible! It was glossy all the way to the ends, and didn’t make my mid-lengths stringy/oily looking (I use Sebastian dark oil now, and need to be a lot more careful with how much I apply or it gets stringy).

I got so many compliments on how shiny my hair was the next day. What I didn’t like: The first use was amazing, but after i used it for a couple weeks my hair started to feel heavy and hung straighter.

It was still shiny, but looked less full and the ends were getting more dry over time. Ultimately, I think having silicone as a first ingredient makes hair oils too heavy for me (though I’ve yet to find another with water first).

I consider this to be more like “hair makeup”. If I was going to an event I would 100% use again for the amazing glossy look and intoxicating smell. It doesn’t really make hair healthier or moisturized though, so be cautious if you plan to use it after every wash.

Definitely need a good clarifying shampoo.

I received this product free in exchange for my honest review after using it. I am pleasantly surprised at the efficacy of this product overall. I personally am one who has always been a lover of any and all hair care products.

But if i am being honest, I would have to admit that I definitely discriminated against any type of oil type hair care product. I just automatically assumed without any prior knowledge that my hair would end up looking like i poured vegetable oil in it lol! And so it went that I steered clear of oil products for my hair.

So when I received this product, i was totally scared to use it. But I knew I had to use it and give my true and honest review as well after using it. The density of my hair has changed throughout the years, from the hair fibres being quite strong to becoming weak and fragile, breaking easily, becoming frizzy and fine in texture. I believe that the changes are due to Hormonal Imbalances, specifically Thyroid and Menopause.

My hair has always been ‘very’ long (I could nearly sit on it), and I’ve always taken extremely good care of it using quality products, doing regular oil treatments and having regular haircuts to keep it looking it’s best.

However, for about the last three years I’ve noticed that it has become finer and does not hold a style anymore. I struggle to get the balance right with any of my hair products, as none of them help with giving me back my shiny, healthy looking head of hair! I’ve been using Argan oil amongst other oils for a number of years now, but they are all now far too heavy for my hair making it look either too oily, dull or just making it drier.

I have been very close (. actually extremely, especially during lockdown) to having all of my hair cut off to start again. The only reason I didn’t go for the big chop, is that on reflection if my hair is also fine at the roots, then the length of it wouldn’t really make any difference as it’s the health of the hair that will give it it’s shape and shine.

So my quest continued to find a product that would make it look and feel healthy and shiny again. I also believe that it’s not because a product is expensive it will make a difference, it’s all about the ingredients and getting that balance right for your particular hair type or concern that can present a challenge, whether you buy a budget or premium product or not.

I’m also a believer in using ‘natural products’, and look for products which contain as less ingredients as possible, as well as any harmful substances. This is where I would now like to tell you how the Moroccanoil LIGHT oil treatment for fine and light coloured hair has made such a difference to my hair, that I now know when I wash my hair and leave it to Air Dry after applying approximately six drops of oil ( which is what I have been doing for a while now as ‘heat’ willl damage it further) that my hair will be softer, less frizzy and shinier! I can honestly say that this product is a ‘godsend’ and I could not live without it.

If used correctly, I promise you that if you have hair like mine, frizzy, fine, lack lustre, it could make such a difference to your hair that you will not believe. and it comes at an affordable price.

I am addicted to this stuff! I do not shampoo more than every 2 days, sometimes longer. The 10 in 1 revitalizer is a life saver that allows me to stretch my shampooing out. It is an awesome detangler and frizz eliminator.

I have dandruff and split ends problem so I purchased this oil. The main thing why I wasn’t using any kind of oil was that I go to work everyday and giving oil n leaving overnight used to make my hair oily and with shampoo rinse the oil won’t go off.

But THIS SHAMPOO IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. It also reduced my drandruff after the 1st application itself. PROS: 1. lightweight 2. Doesn’t make our face oily too after application 3. Rinse of easily 4. Works for reducing drandruff and split ends.

Never bothered to review a hair product but this one I had to. Absolutely so happy to have found the Verb products. THIS was the finishing touch! I just moved to Florida and with thin, fine curly hair the humidity has been terrible to deal with.

I apply this AFTER shampoo and conditioner, and I have not found it to be heavy at all. For the first time in a very long time, years, I was able to wear my hair natural without Frizz. My hair is soft and the curls are defined and did I say NO FRIZZ? I went out shopping and came home with soft loose curls still, and no frizz.

The oil really has no scent, my hair is about bra strap length, I used a full dropper.

These have made my hair so soft. I usually only mess in my hair once a week. I’ve use it for the last 2 months. First I wet my hair and make sure to have a good water+leave-in mixture. On my scalp goes the Sephora BTNPHY hair oil and The Ordinary hair oil.

Rub that in nice and well. Then on the hair shaft goes the VERB oil and – hear me out- The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid. Saw it on a tiktok and thought “why not?”, the worst thing that can happen is my hair gets more damaged and I get to cut my hair again.

After the first time, I thought it was stupid. But nothing is an instant cure. Things take time. Even when my hair is dry, its super soft and didn’t tangle as much. My curls were not as frizzy as they usually are.

I would say a visible difference came around week 3. If you wash your hair daily, you’ll probably see it in a week or so.

This product saved my hair. I was using a shampoo & conditioner previously that completely ruined my hair and gave me severe scalp irritation. I was desperate to find something to treat my itchy scalp and this saved my life.

I noticed even after one use that my head wasn’t so itchy or dry. I will use this the night before a wash and lather it on my scalp all over as well as my ends and put my hair in a loose braid. Double washing helps immensely.

This product is also great to use after the shower on your ends for extra moisture ! I would recommend this to absolutely everyone if I could. It’s a true life saver. I love you verb!!!!.

I start by using my Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler Spray as a leave-in; then I apply a quarter-sized blob of the Redken Extreme Play Safe on my lengths, and lastly I add a tiny extra amount of Redken Extreme Play Safe concentrating just on the ends.

The product is very concentrated, and you only need a little bit for a great result; if your hair is sticky that means you’ve applied too much. This is one of the only products where my ends lie perfectly flat with no frizz after blow-drying (I typically let my hair air-dry at least halfway, then I use a volumizing brush on a high heat setting to finish drying and styling), usually if I want a perfect finish I have to take out my flat iron because the ends are always fuzzy, but not with this product!! My ends are healthy-looking and my lengths have body and feel clean and smooth without feeling weighed down.

I also love that it has protein! my damaged hair needs all the protein it can get. If you have long fine hair that’s colored and/or highlighted and has damage you need to check out this protective styling product, you won’t be sorry!! It does a great job of protecting your lengths from damage caused by blow-drying and other heat tools.

Het mocht van mij in een fles zitten net als de shampoo dat vindt ik mooier en ik krijg die toch beter open dan deze duwdop. Ik gebruik de shampoo voordat ik het masker gebruik, ik gebruik hem op handdoek droog haar, ik gebruik geen conditioner meer, wat mijn haar normaal wel nodig heeft.

Dit product zorgt ervoor dat mijn haar zacht wordt, ik kan het makkelijk kammen en het voelt er verzorgd uit. Ik föhn mijn haar altijd na het wassen, omdat mijn haar ook nog eens geblondeerd is kan het wel wat voeding gebruiken.

Mijn haar ziet er niet meer pluizig uit en valt mooi in model. Vaak word mijn haar vetter door een masker en dat heb ik nu niet. Mijn haar lijkt wat minder uit te vallen, het seizoen (herfst) en wat stress zijn hier de oorzaak van dit lijkt nu wat minder.

Ik vind het een fijn product wat ik een ander zeker zal aanraden en dan vooral in combinatie met de shampoo.

I am reordering this amazing oil. I can’t tell how much is left in my first bottle but I don’t want to get caught without any so I would rather be safe than sorry. I have used this morning and night since my purchase.

I am not sure how long that is but probably 3-4 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised how much body it gave my very thin, fine and limp hair. With all the oils listed in the ingredients I was truly shocked it didn’t add oil to my hair but it has only made my hair seem fuller.

I can’t testify to hair growth because I don’t believe it has been long enough since I started using it to make that call. It actually does seem to be different in length but I will withhold judgement for a few more weeks.

In the meantime I will just order a couple more bottles!.

The ingredients are exactly what I was looking for and the castor oil isn’t sticky like I’ve experienced in the past. No smell either. Too early to tell, but I haven’t been finding as many hairs in the sink after combing.

A fantastic oil, beautiful consistency and the smell! Oh my goodness. I bought this oil for my self I have European hair but suffering thinning due to fibromyalgia, also for my daughter who has mixed afro hair, about a 3c and b type.

It has created excellent shine and fullness for both of us and brought her curls out so well. I use the LOC method and the quality is great for her hair without the feeling of weighing it down. Can’t wait to carry on using this as a weekly treatment to see the progress on scalp health and hair growth.

I started using a couple of drops of this oil when I received it as a leave in (my hair absorbs oil right away) and I didn’t want to review it until I use it as a deep treatment, which I just did. I put it on for 3 hours and washed it out with Rahua shampoo and conditioner.

My hair is so so beautifully soft! If you have curly/wavy hair this might be the product for you. I’m also obsessed with the smell. I’ve been using this and going out actually and my hair smells beautiful as it moves.

I will definitely be repurchasing this!.

I’ve used this many times before so definitely not a newbie to it. It’s a great product, leaves my thick wavy hair feeling lush and brings shine and softness back into my hair. Really worth it, the ingredients list is really beneficial for hair grow and conditioning.

I think it should be a ritual for everyone to oil their hair weekly at least, I know I’ve grown up doing it being asian, but if you want ‘hair goals’ then definitely use this as a treatment, overnight treatment even.

Add to clean scalp after wash massage it in and also add to hair before styling it will stay moisturized for days! Now i can do more than twist or braids on wash days 🙌🏾 Add a few drops to your shampoo/conditioner/leave in I wish i knew how to properly use it years ago when i first heard of it.

But i wasn’t consistent and so no results 👎🏾 I also wish i bought it in bulks from the start i would have saved a lot of money I got 6 pack for $34 (Amazon) that’s less that $6 a bottle! Will last me for years!!! Take away: be consistent, also products that smell strong usually always work best.

I recently dyed my hair so my curls are giving 4A/4B. Many people will say that this hair oil doesn’t work or they did not see results from it but personally I have been taking photos of my hair when I was a “hair color virgin“, before I started dying my hair and when I first died my hair I took pictures of its natural growth rate between day one and day 28.

Months down the line I was using the oil after re-dying my hair again for a lighter color and I tracked the progress and it was safe to say that because of the oil and me consistently using it that my hair growth was a lot faster with using it then it was naturally.

It is possible to say that I am on bottle number three or four, it lasts a very long time!.

What i do ( there is no one right way) is i part my hair into sections starting at the front of the head and making a part down the middle.

Then i just keep going applying the oil onto the parts getting it as good as i can onto my scalp and rubbing in. I also will rub my scalp very well and rigorously rubbing the oil in good. This oil is NOT thick at all.

A little medicinal smell, but i enjoy the smell and am used to it by now. Do this a few times a week, as best as suits your self. I sleep with mine on. You will be surprised to notice a big difference in as little as a month 😊😊 i have bought this as a staple in my household for years now and its great for children as well.

Plz do not be fooled and look at this product and think that since it an oil that only certain backgrounds can use it. No sweetie, i am a white woman who just happens to have 5 black children shes raised and this oil is great for my hair and my kids hair.

Also even if you dont stay in the houselike me after using this oil, its VERY light weight and easy. Not thick and messy at all and a little will go a long ways. I also use this after my shower and hair washing.

After i towel dry my hair i take some of this in my hand and also some pure 100% unprocessed Castro oil ( $13 a bottle every month i purchase on Amazon. com) you surely dont need to use both either. Wild growth is a Great product and can certainly stand up alone and do the job.

After towel drying the hair gently i just rub this oil good into my ends and up and down the hair shaft with wherever is left on my hands. Experiment with this product please if u applied to much the first time around or anything else that didn’t go perfectly.

This is a great oil. Alot of times you just need the time it takes to develop a habit that works for you and your hair. You might have to only use. 1 or 2 times a week if your hair is very very frail or thin or grease prone like mine.

Remember trial and error. This product is worth taking your time to see what works for you. I also use this oil for growing eyesbrows and eyelashes as well. Just apply. 😊.

I cannot give this more stars bc it’s not allowed this is my first review on a product, I was literally going bald…. Like I started to panic, bc I even went to doctor and all my exams came good as I am healthy.

I was using monat products and it thin my hair so bad it was just falling everyday and at any place. While shipping a lady at target was packing her cart with two of each product so I got closed and she was telling her friends about which target in Orlando fl, had it available, I honestly had to ask her about it since she sounded so confident she made me buy the oil, shampoo, and mask, Two months later with consistency I saw results and baby hairs all over started to come out along with my front line growing back again this is amazing, im on my third bottle of oil, my hair is silky, shiny and noticeable growing, the shampoo is amazing a little pump goes a long way and my hair feels refresh, the mask is a life saving, it gives that silky feeling that doesn’t wear out after days of not washing or leaves me oily.

This is amazing, I recently got the rice serum and it does amazing on my split ends. I’m so grateful for this brand. My hair looks AMAZING AND HEALTHY! My hair is not curly, is freeze and is getting thick back again.

My hair is also colored and it seems not to give that orange brassy color after use. Months 3-5 picture below my hair is loving this Rosemary products and the rise serum.

Tried this product right away and instantly loved the smell. Reminds me of a candy scent but not too strong as I am usually averse to strong scents. The consistency is thick so a few pumps would do. I applied it over my dry hair and tamed the frizz I got from diffusing my curly hair.

My hair is so soft and not floofy. I’d be using it next time on semi dry hair and see if its better. Also used this in conjunction with the milk spray for heat protection.

This magic oil has been nothing but a blessing to my home, along with all of my other products from Ecoroots. My husband and I suffered from bad dandruff prior to the all-natural product switch as well as itchy scalp and major hair-loss for myself.

My husband was skeptical in trying as he has curly hair and curly haired people tend to give their hair a bit of extra love and care from a variety of products – I have straight hair and couldn’t really relate to his concern but after reading the reviews I thought I’d give it a shot for both him and myself.

His curls were dry, and damaged from all of our dandruff care shampoos and mine was just brittle and lacked life and volume 🙁 We usually apply the oil directly after we wash our hair (3 drops for him 4-5 for me due to length), while it is still a bit damp.

His hair looks AMAZING: I’m talking VOLUME, looks like he is using a high-step care routine and has helped with our dandruff by dissipating it completely. We no longer suffer from dandruff and hair loss is minimal now.

I constantly get compliments on how good my hair looks as well, and what my routine looks like, and how I am keeping it so healthy. I am so grateful for the shampoo-conditioner bars and the oil! They have saved my hair routine!.

Fabulous! When I get out of the shower my hair is squeaky clean. That translates to frizzy curly hair for me. I have shoulder length curly hair and I love this product. I simply scrunch dry my hair, bend over with my hair down, put three or four drops of oil in my hands and rub them together.

Then I run my fingers through my hair all over. My fingers do not tangle in the hair and the hair dries beautifully silky.

I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair, and this oil works wonders. It makes my hair so soft. It’s got a light scent, but not overpowering at all. I was afraid it would make my hair oily, but as long as you only use a small amount, it does not look or feel oily at all.

I would highly recommend this product.

This stuff is GOLD! A little beat before heat drying or a tad on your ends/flyaways you are good to go. Smells so good as well but not overpowering.

I didn’t have luck with the LolaVie detangler (I guess my hair isn’t that tangled), but had I bought it in hopes that it would lend some shine to my hair. The other day, as I applied my usual thick, silicone-based hair oil, I wished for something better.

Literally that afternoon, I learned that LolaVie launched this lightweight hair oil. I ordered a bottle (beautiful packaging), it arrived today, I tried it out, and. I’m blown away. My dry, lackluster wavy hair is soft, shiny, and has the slightest bit of fragrance.

I was even able to apply the oil to my roots, where I had a lot of frizz on a hot day, and it performed perfectly. It’s not heavy enough to shellack my hair into a greasy helmet, but the frizz was tamed and the softness is incredible.

I applied the oil to dry hair, so I’m going to experiment to see how it does on damp hair. So glad I gave this a try, I love it!.

I have become a huge user of hair oil, so I have owned quite a few of them. I always use use silicone-free etc. , and this one is the least expensive yet somehow by far the best. I love how light it is- you would have to really screw up to look greasy.

I use this every time I wash my hair, but I also use some when I wake up in the morning to re-tame it as needed. I use all 3 Lolavie products and they are such game changers. I have very thick hair that is fairly curly, and these products tame my hair more than anything ever has.

I had someone else try the products who has thinner, wavy hair, and she is sold as well. Both of us can’t get over how smooth, defined, and moisturized our hair seems now. I can’t imagine any reason I would buy any other brand of styling products again.

Wonderful product. I’m now using the three products together and I have really been pleased with the results. I have very long hair and being over 60 (I can’t believe that one) presents unique challenges.

My hair has always been on the fine side and now it’s very fragile. The Lolavie line greatly helps in reducing tangles and hair loss while adding moisture without a greasy weigh down. The new oil adds a wonderful bounce and body to my hair! I’ve also noticed that skipping a shampoo is ok because my hair looks better 2-3 days out.

This is one of my favorite hair oils! It pairs perfect with the argan shampoo and conditioner. My hair is thicker and so much healthier using these products. I never have split ends or frizzies and my hair is long and thick.

It also smells really good. Fantastic product right here!.

This oil is good. It smells good and deff keeps my hair hydrated. I do prefer the castor oil over this. I only got it because the castor was sold out. But I liked this oil. I’d probably get it again.

It’s deff not as thick as the castor oil. Putting it on my hair dry before bed works well for overnight hydrating.

This is my favorite product of all time. I have been using it for years. It is a great price for how long it lasts. It helps with breakage and acts as a heat protectant. You can use it on dry or wet hair, while not using too much and keeping it towards the ends.

It also smells incredible!.

Minus one star for the scent – it’s smells like a burnt sugar to me, which I’m not a fan of. The scent does dissipate after I’ve scrunched it into my hair. It does soften my hair pretty well! I’ve also used this on dry hair and it also absorbs really nicely when my hair isn’t wet.

For reference, I have thick, course hair and can get away with shampooing 1-2x a week. The pure argan oil from this brand works exactly the same as this one, but no scent. However, I’ve only found that one in a super small bottle, so you’ll definitely get more band for your buck with this product.

If heaven was a scent! No, seriously. I have been using this product for YEARS. I will never, and I mean never use any other hair oil. The scent is to die for, and it is so silky to the touch. It does wonders for fly aways and frizz and also helps keep your straightend hair in check! Definitely a great product.

I was in Walmart one day looking at products to keep my hair moisturized between shampoos and an African-American beautician had apparently noticed that I was reading labels and looking confused. She asked if she could feel my hair and I allowed it.

She recommended that I try the African Pride Olive Miracle Growth Oil. She asked me some questions and then recommended that I use a tiny amount about dime-sized and when I shampooed and conditioned my hair, while it was still sopping wet, to massage into my scalp and then use my regular leave-in conditioner.

She also recommended that between shampoos at night before going to bed, to use a quarter-sized amount on each side of my head, massage into scalp and then bring the rest down my hair from root to tip.

She recommended that I sleep in a satin or silk cap to sleep in. For me, a 70-year-old, Caucasian woman, it works. My hair is growing and is moisturized and does not break like it once it.

This product works! I used it initially a longggg time ago and immediately noticed a difference in my natural hair. It looked more healthy, was more manageable and with time, it became stronger as well.

I have relaxed hair now and this product has still worked for me. I’ve tried various other oils and for my hair,this is the best! I stopped using it for awhile unfortunately because I could not find it and since then my hair has weakened.

I’ve tried other oils including regular olive oil and my result is nowhere near the same result I get with this product. Glad walmart sells it as I’ll be buying a few bottles today with store pickup today before doing my hair lol.

This works as a daily moisturizer, provides heat protection. I also used to use this weekly in my deep conditioning routine and also do not notice the same result without it. I put some of this in my hair and mix it in with my conditioner before sitting under the dryer.

I have also recommended this to my mother who was struggling with breakage and buying her a bottle as well today.

This is one of my favorites! My daughter used it all too. We were sad we ran out. I received it in a fabfitfun box a good while ago. Need to order more! We like things that with and don’t leave everything so greasy or oily.

Love this product and have been using it for years. It’s very light and does not weigh down the hair. I apply it to damp hair and then blow dry afterwards. Hair feels lifted but pls don’t expect big volume.

I have shoulder length hair and it works perfectly. However I’ve noticed that whenever I grow out my hair, it’s not as effective and my hair feels limp. So I would say it works well on short/medium length hair.

i would really like to love this since the price is kinda pricey bet it will works amazing. however kinda dissapoint with it. i have a really dried hair and oil would works really well for dry hair. but i didnt like my hands to be greasy and oily due to the serum.

so i was loking for something that can benefit like oil. so i found this , which i really love the texture because it is lightweight and easily absorb ! just it didnt help to moisturize my hair , my hair still feels dry.

it did volumize my hair a bit. but i didnt satisfied enough with the result. would not repurchase.

it doesn’t work well on my hair. in fact, my hair looks too dry when apply it. I tried a few times and totally disappointed with its effect. bought the same brand hair primer, also disappointing result.

I probably will not try this brand anymore.
