Purchased this based on the great reviews. Took it before going to sleep. Soothed my cough for only 30 minutes. Afterwards was up coughing for the rest of the night. Would have had the same result with a cough drop.

Mucinex sinus-max day and night offers sinus relief whenever you need it. 16 daytime liquid gels and 8 nighttime liquid gels. I have terrible sinuses, always stuffed, and painful. So when I get a cold, I am miserable.

The pain can get really bad, this includes acetaminophen, which helps with the pain. The liquid gels are pretty easy to swallow, they r smooth and glide easily. Mucinex sinus -max offers relief from sinus pressure, pain, congestion, cough and mucus.

I don’t get any jitters or stomach upset when I use this. Works great with no side effects.

My PCP actually suggested adding this when my allergy meds weren’t enough to take care of all of my symptoms. And I already take three meds a day. It does get very pricey taking two pills every 4 hrs and about $14 for 16 pills.

But it works to reduce inflammation, secretions, pain and headache, itchy/ dry eyes and other allergy or infection symptoms. And now that I am sick I was glad to have it on hand. BUT it can make your sinuses very very dry and create a different problem.

So be sure to have saline or petroleum or some means of soothing your nose on hand because it is not meant to be so dry it cracks and can’t protect itself from infections. Balance is key.

I recently had a cold and was very congested, which made me feel miserable. After searching CVS, I decided to try this. I feel as if it gave me instant relief! I bought this when all of my kids had a horrible cough and severe congestion. My kids were coughing until they threw up and none of them could breathe properly. It was hard for them to sleep and they were getting very cranky and sick of the medicines not working so I went to the pharmacy where someone recommended this to me.

My 6 year old spit it out and gagged and then my oldest took it and said it was disgusting and said she never wanted anymore of it. I was thinking it couldn’t possibly be that bad so I tasted it and I was wrong because it was way worse than I thought.

It worked very well and worked fast for my oldest who ended up gagging down a couple more doses because it worked so well and she knew it. Her cold was gone about 7 days before my kids who didn’t take it.

On one hand it works fantastically IF you can get your kids to take it. Its expensive but works well. I think the taste of it matters just because it is for children. There is no comparable medicines that I’ve found, most that I’ve tried do nothing to help.

Bought this product because I developed a head cold. Lots of congestion and stuffy nose. This product says to use at the first sign of a cold. Unfortunately I did not realize I was coming down with something until I was congested.

This product works amazing. I don’t know for sure that it actually helps reduce the length of colds, but when I used it I could feel the product working. It honestly actually burned my nose a bit and then I could breathe easier.

Ive been using Zicam nasal spray for 22 years, since my son was in preschool. It has without fail lessened my colds. I don’t travel without it and keep a bottle on hand at all times. I carry the little tubes in my purse and keep them in my desk at work.

I battled a severe cold a few weeks ago and these medicines helped significantly. I thought they tasted good, but more importantly, they were effective in helping ease some of my symptoms. The only thing I didn’t love as much was that the nighttime dose only lasted four hours, so I usually woke up coughing in the middle of the night needing to take a second dose.

It’s convenient to have both a day time and night time version. They seem to contain the same main ingredients, with the nighttime option also adding in acetiminophin for pain relief.

Took recommended dose, got extremely shaky,heart was racing felt like head was gonna explode. Found myself praying to God not to let me die in front of my family. Cold symptoms did stop but at what cost? Works good but be careful if you have underlying health problems.

I love that the Tablets are packaged super easy to push out of the foil container. I often struggle with packaging so it makes a huge difference when I can easily access the product. These MUCINEX TABLETS are Extended Release Bi-Layer TABLETS.

I have no problem with the size of the tablet. I like that they are extended release so I do not have to take them as often. The instructions on these tablets are One to Two tablets every Twelve Hours for Adults.

With no more than Four Tablets in a Twenty Four Hour Period. I have used the MUCINEX Brand in the past and have found it to be reliable.

Pros: I often have swollen sinuses that make me feel stuffy and make it difficult to breathe through my nose, even when there is little congestion. This product attacks the source of the swelling, inflammation, which opens the nasal passages.

It also includes a nasal decongestant to clear up the congestion. This is good for mild nasal congestion because it seeks to keep you from overmedicating. Why treat issues you don’t have like cough, chest congestion, etc.

? The only con is that this truly is for mild issues. The current dose provides only one standard Ibuprofen pill worth of medicine, though it does deliver a full standard dose of decongestant, so it may not pack enough punch if you have a heavier cold or sinus pressure.

The product is fine. It is designed to work in a cabinet as shown, but the box (and the other 2 boxes ordered) were totally smashed and ruined. This happens a lot when ordering from Officesupply. com.

I have complained before as I had received totally ruined things. I love their prices, but their mailing could use some training technique.

This is a reasonably priced workplace medication. It is effective at dealing with allergy and sinus issues, but does not leave you feeling “groggy”. It achieves this without using high levels of caffeine, like most workplace medicine does.

I suffer year round allergies and sinus problems so finding something that works is hard because my body becomes use to whatever I take and just doesn’t work as well as they usually do.

So I decided to try this, and it works great. I mean it cleared up my sinus and stopped my headache. It worked so well I bought 2 more boxes to have for future use. I think this is just as good if not better than the regular sinus products out there on the market.

This is one of my favs aside from Claritin and Xyzal which both are a bit pricey. Vicks Sinex is a more affordable way to go. I also feel as if it last a lot longer than other sinus allergy meds. I highly recommend this product.

With these Vick’s sinex tablets I started getting much better after only my second dosage. They didn’t overly dry out my sinuses and I did not become sleepy afterwards. These were a lifesaver.

I have been dealing with severe postnasal drip for years. I’ve tried everything the doctors could/would prescribe and recommend. Nothing worked for me. My husband kept telling me to give Mucinex a try.

So before purchasing I looked at reviews. Low and behold a previous reviewer said this was the only thing that worked for their own postnasal drip. I purchased and it’s been AMAZING!!! For the first time in years I don’t have to clear my throat or cough every couple minutes! This has been life-changing for me! Highly recommend!.

Fortunately I don’t have to use this product often–but when I have a cold, I want THIS product in my medicine cabinet so I can start it ASAP. Mucinex tends to be really effective for me and helps to clear up my sinuses and I ultimately cough less.

I also like the immediate and extended release aspect of these tablets–you don’t need to take them every couple of hours like other medications.

I had a cardiac event just over a year ago. It is extremely difficult to navigate this in so many ways, especially when you’re not in the typical demographic so there are far less people in your circle who may have experienced something like this and less who have helpful advice for you.

An unexpectedly and very mundane difficulty is “oh no! What can I take when I’m sick?” So many things we typically reach for are not safe for people with cardiac issues and/or high blood pressure. I had a cold back in October and had to use more old school ways like steam to heal.

Today i received my first vox box. This came to me in a beautiful Influenster box free for my written opinion of this Coricidin product. It contained a 20 count container of soft gel Coriciden for Chest Congestion and Cough.

This box of Coricidin surprised me because it states on the box that it is specifically designed for those with High Blood Pressure. The Box also states that its a Decongestant free Cold Symptoms relief.

This is a great idea, so many of us, or our family members have high blood pressure and have difficulty taking certain over the counter medications. There is nothing worse than having decongestion and cough and not being able to safely find an over the counter medication that we can take.

I applaud Coricidin for taking care of a major portion of our population that is often overlooked. I have seasonal allergies and asthma so this package arrived at a great time. To give this a thorough evaluation, i took my blood pressure, pulse and pulse ox before trying the first soft gel.

I waited an hour and then took my blood pressure, pulse and pulse ox again and was pleased to see that my blood pressure and pulse remained the same. I was happy to learn that my pulse oxygen improved by two points.

I also think that the liquid in the soft gel has the ability to soothe my irritated throat as well. I plan to keep monitoring my vital signs and checking my symptoms to make sure that my symptoms keep improving.

I must admit I was curious if this was going to be another labeling “trick” to get people to pay more for a medicine that does the same thing as the original label. So after receiving my first voxbox of the [brand:coricidin] HBP I read the instructions and I had been sick and taken 2 over the counter medicines that did NOT work.

I was pleased to find out that this type of product existed because I am sensitive to medicines etc that always raise my blood pressure. I had already been sick when the sample arrived. I had an appointment with my doctor and was so sick she wanted to put me in the hospital for fear of my congestion etc turning in to pneumonia as it had done 3 months earlier.

I showed her the medicine and asked her to let me try it and see if it would help. She read the ingredients and reluctantly agreed on the promise that I would monitor my blood pressure daily and let her know how I was doing.

Which I did and my blood pressure stayed in the normal range. Bayer the maker of this product included an insert that was done in conjunction with American Heart Association and spoke of ways to help control high blood pressure.

The insert explains understanding high blood pressure and what your blood pressure measurements actually mean. It also included risk factors that you can control in regards to high blood pressure. It also included a link and phone number to the American Heart ❤ Association.

As far as the medicine instructions it said for adults to take 1 to 2 softgels with water every 4 hours, and not to exceed 12 softgels in 24 hours. I usually have to take 2 of any cold medicine at a time to get any response from the medicine.

When I started taking the [brand:coricidin] I just took 1 and figured I would have to take another one. This was not the case FOR ME. I took the 1 and was pleasantly surprised that I did not need another one for 6 hours.

The medicine said it would relieve chest congestion and cough and it did just that. I must say I was surprised the medicine worked so well and did NOT raise my blood pressure. My doctor was pleased that the medicine was able to work as the packaging describes.

She thought only a prescription was going to help me at this point in my condition. Thank you Bayer for making a product that helped and did not make my blood pressure skyrocket. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Time to be candid about all that muck oozing out of your face. I’m prone to seasonal allergies, so when I get a cold or flu, it usually feels two-fold. Like a lot of folks, I used to treat the symptoms of a respiratory virus exclusively with Tylenol and some sort of decongestant, like Robitussin, Benadryl, or DayQuil/NyQuil.

While these work great for breaking fevers and reducing inflammation (for me), I’d often be left at the tail-end with ongoing phlegm in my respiratory tract for days or weeks, extending that feeling of being ill.

It was only a couple of years ago I started using Mucinex, but what a difference it made! As a recommendation, I took Mucinex as soon as I felt sick, and the recovery time was shortened and I had been able to sleep well most nights without reduced coughing.

I don’t advocate to use a lot of medication if not absolutely necessary, and this is anecdotal, not medical advice, but if when sick, phlegm is the most problematic symptom, then consider Mucinex for maintaining better respiratory function throughout the healing process.

So glad that Influenster sent me this medicine complimentary in exchange for my honest review. We were sent this VoxBox to try Coricidon, which is made especially for people with high blood pressure.

The only person in my home that has it is my husband. Thankfully, he hasn’t gotten sick, but if he does, I am thankful that I can give this a try for my honey without it affecting his blood pressure.

I think it’s awesome that Bayer thought well enough to ensure that the people who suffer from high blood pressure have remedies to help them if they are ever compromised and need medicinal care. For that reason alone, I would definitely recommend this for anyone who suffers from high blood pressure or heart problems.

Also, the tablets look to be easy enough to swallow, and the fact that this relieves coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, a sore throat, and aches and pains, which is fabulous since some of the over *the counter medicines can’t be taken with high blood pressure.

I know some people complain that it didn’t help with decongestion, but it doesn’t claim to help with that. It helps with a runny nose, so for the reviews, you see that is downing it for it not helping that, please remember that nowhere on the box does it even say it’s a decongestant medicine.

So please disregard those reviews that are claiming it doesn’t work since they didn’t get any relief from a stuffy nose. Reading comprehension is essential and it saddens me that this product is getting a bad rep for not fixing something it is not claiming or promising to fix.

Prior to receiving a free sample of this product by Influenster in exchange for my honest review, I was not certain exactly what made the Coricidin line of medications for those with high blood pressure different from other cold medicines on the drugstore shelves.

I knew, though, that my dad and late grandfathers relied on them for relieving cough and cold symptoms, and that they work for me as well, though I do not have hypertension. Reading more on the Coricidin website, I learned that many of us should be opting for this cold treatment, as about 45 percent of Americans have hypertension.

Not just any cough and cold formula will do, as a decongestant ingredient common in these can boost already high blood pressure, raising the risk of damage to many organs in the body. I recently had the opportunity to try a dose of Coricidin HBP Cough Cold when I came down with a case of “the crud,” i.

e. a runny nose and cough, possibly from the ensuing throat irritation. I felt reasonably quick relief, which I attribute to the antihistamines in Coricidin. By the next morning, I felt like myself again and well on my way to better comfort.

I recommend this to anyone needing cough and cold relief, especially if you have hypertension and need a safe choice for your health condition.

I have to be completely honest and say that I didn’t know what to do at first with this product, first of all because we don’t usually get sick so for that reason I was kind of confused as to why Influenster would send me medication 🙋🤦.

I truly honestly do not know if this product does work because again we have not had to use it yet but I’m sure that they’ll come a time where he’s going to need to go into this pack and take these eventually I just hope that they do work for him again I want to thank @Influenster and #Coricidin for this opportunity!.

This works much better and faster than Mucinex DM tablet! I am so grateful the liquid became available this year (2022). The hacking cough that keeps me miserable during the day and awake all night long has been tamed!!! FYI: IF YOU HAVE HEART RHYTHM ISSUES – AFIB – DO NOT USE a DM expectorant product of any brand.

I would ‘t give this product a single star if I had the choice. I took 2 Mucinex FM capsules at 5pm. I woke at 3am with the worst hives I have ever had over at least half of my body. They were worst on the front of my thighs, the back of my upper arms and my stomach and back.

The itch was almost unbearable. I rubbed on Antihisan which helped a little. I even had a couple of welts by my left eye. It was 9am the next day before I was itch free and hive free. It was frightening to have such an adverse reaction, not normal for me at all.

The packet of meds has gone into the rubbish bin. Never again!.

Coughing got the best of you? It hurts so bad! But this stuff has helped the coughing to subside. The price for this product that needs to be taken every 4 hours is too much. The taste isn’t bad. Just glad I got some relief.

Too bad the relief only lasted for 3 hours!.
