Lets remember that NyQuil has antihistamine which makes us really drowsy; whenever you take it make sure you have have at least 8 hours of least and DO NOT drive.

There is certainly a good deal of symptom- fighting ingredients here and Contac Severe Cold and Flu makes many lofty claims. But is this medicine really as good as it seems? Well, the answer is yes and no.

I decided to try out the Coricidin Cold Flu tablets because I found that my blood pressure has been slightly high at times over the past few months.

I was never formally diagnosed with high blood pressure, however, I thought it would be okay to take this medicine given the occasional elevation in my blood pressure. I tried this medication within the past week after coming down with COVID-19 and I did not tolerate it well.

I was extremely jumpy and jittery after taking the medication. I also had a hard time falling asleep, and this is pretty ironic, because most cold remedies have a sedating quality. On a positive note, the medication slightly alleviated my cold symptoms and the tablets were easy to swallow.

Conversely, I did not like the way my body felt immediately after taking the medication and this is a prohibitive factor, which ultimately means that I will not likely use this medication again the future.

Maybe it’s not completely fair to review the Coricidin Cold Flu medication because I don’t have a “bonafide” diagnosis of high blood pressure, and I took the medication while I had Covid-19, and perhaps my body was out of sorts due to the illness.

But, ultimately, I don’t think there is much difference between Coricidin Cold and Flu tablets and other cold remedies when you compare the ingredients. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the medication based on my personal experience, but this medication might be truly okay for someone else under totally different circumstances.

DayQuil/NightQuil is a trusted brand in our house. We recently used the Severe Cold and Flu Combo when we had a recent illness. The product is as expected. Capsules are consistent in quality, size and shape and the packaging was up to standards.

I will say I did not find this helped with symptoms as much as I had hoped, although I may just have been really sick. I had hoped to really feel the effects of the medicine on my congestion and, unfortunately, this did not make a significant impact although it helped with aches and pains.

I like the idea of this combo pack–its great to have to make just one purchase that includes daytime and nighttime medication. I do think this is a good product to have on hand for when illness arises.

When I got my vox box I wasn’t sure I’d be able to use it. But low and behold I caught a cold. I decided to try the night time pills first and they worked, but I found myself awakened in the middle of the night coughing because the medicine had sore off at 4am.

Same with the day time pills. They wear off about 31/2 hours after taking them. Directions is 2 pills every 4 hours. I feel that a night time medication should last at least 6 so that you’re getting a decent rest.

The liquid capsules were rather large, especially for only 4 hours. While they did add some very temporary relief, I will not be buying these as I want something that last for the full promised hours, and I want something that lasts a little longer.

The only good thing I can say is that it immediately relieved my sore throat. However, that is NOT worth the horrible nausea and stomach pain immediately afterwards. The first time I tried it I immediately threw it back up.

But, assuming maybe I was just a baby when it comes to medicinal tastes (which I am), I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried again a few hours later. I was able to force myself to swallow but I felt so sick afterwards.

Absolutely the best stuff I’ve ever taken. I’ve had a cough, a mean and dirty cough that I couldn’t shake. Ten minutes after taking this my cough was gone. I feel amazing right now. If you have a cough this stuff is gonna make it stop without any weird lingering side effects.

Great for helping symptoms. Helps me feel better for a few hours. Contains the homeopathic ingredient in Oscillococcinum but is a much better deal, as it has many doses for a bottle. I accidentally took and went to bed, but couldn’t sleep because the anti-fatigue properties of Flu+ kept me awake!.

While this cough medicine did seem to help my cold and cough I feel like the price is fairly high for a small bottle of cough medicine. It had a harsher flavor then most berry flavor cough medicine and had more of a mint flavor.

It also had a slight burn to it when drinking it but that was probably due to the 10% alcohol content. While I would buy this again I might purchase a store brand next time as I feel it does the same thing for half the price.

It made my brain think I was in a fight or flight situation. I really recommend you take this immediately before bed, don’t wait too long or else the drowsiness will hit you hard and it’ll be difficult to fall asleep because you feel dizzy and sleepless.

Theraflu was a brand that my family has used for years. I had yet to try this kind of cold and flu syrup. Im definitely not a liquid medicine type of person because I don’t like the taste of medicine in general.

However I was pleasantly surprised by Theraflu Severe Cold and Flu Syrup in the berry flavor. I was sick for about two days and went to the doctor and found out I just had a bad cold. They told me to try some of the iber the counter flu and cold medicine.

I chose to use Theraflu. This was a medicine that I had never experienced before. It was so different than anything I had ever used. First you feel the unique warming sensation. Then you taste berry flavor which is actually pretty good compared to the taste of other medicine.

Beechams have been around for a very long time. Surely that is recommendation enough !! I will continue to use them.

Nothing can cure a cold as effectively and quickly as these particular capsules. Other Beechams products for colds and flu just don’t work nearly as well for me.
