I did this and the size went down in a few hours not even 2 days, but a few hours. My eye looked normal within the next day, but I still chose not put any makeup on, instead I just had the ointment on and still did the tea bag trick to really get rid of it.

bought this w little hopes but I used almost nonstop for a few hours before bed and woke up practically stye-less! No more insane itch, no redness, the bump was merely gone. It states this isn’t used for getting rid of styes and only reducing symptoms, but so far so good.

Hopefully it stays gone, will continue to use this. Tube is very small but will go a long ways, so if you get styes a lot I’d say to buy a couple because it seems to do wonders.

[from Similasan] Originating in Switzerland in 1980, the Similasan brand became popular across Europe. Today, Similasan remedies are widely used and well-respected in North America. I had a deviated septum that was surgically corrected years ago but I would often get a “discharge” of white “puss” that would gather in my lower eye (the left more than right).

I had a Doctor of Optometry (DO) recommend Systane long-lasting lubricating drops but I never got more than 1-2 hours relief. I have adjusted the brightness levels on all of my devices, I get plenty of sleep yet this discharge would not go away.

I was almost ready to just cave and buy another $15 bottle of Systane till I read about Similasan Complete on that *OTHER* site. What the heck, I mused at least it’s cheaper than Systane. Took me a minute to wrap my head around Similasan’s applicator: the bottle (vial) is glass, which is great and you apply it by turning it upside down and squeezing the plastic applicator.

The bottle even has legible instructions, although I ‘cheated’ with a magnifying glass. After 1 day of using Similasan Complete twice daily, 2 drops per eye, my nasal/sinus discharge has gone away 95%.

I will clean out any residual “puss” in the A. M. with a wet Q-Tip. It has great lubrication, lasting 4-5 hours per eye after applying. Take a look at the review by ‘wizardofozone’ on that *other* shopping site.

This ointment is wonderful. Eye doctor said I had to start using an ointment ( not gel or drops as they are not effective for all dry eye problems). My eyes dry so much at night, they cause my right eye to have monthly retinal tears.

The ointment he recommended was 97% petroleum jelly and just too uncomfortable for me. THANK goodness I stumbled on this nighttime ointment which is only half petroleum and half mineral oil and SO much more comfortable, otherwise I was looking at getting plugs in my eyes.

I have been using this for 4 years so wholeheartedly recommend. Also in disagreement with a one star review, you only use ONE drop per night as again, it’s a thick ointment. For me, I only need this for one eye, so the “ tiny” tube lasts me 8-10 weeks.

With two eyes at nite I’d suspect one tube would EASILY last a 4-5 weeks. I believe the bad review here is because the person had no idea what they were purchasing or how to properly use it. I say this because MOST people who buy night ointment actually prefer the more heavy products.

And filled with air? Of course there is some air, otherwise the ointment would ooze out as soon as you squeeze it. I keep my tube upside down so I don’t have to wait for the ointment to come out ( kind of like ketchup, it’s thick and takes time).

I really like this product for I had a major surgery n the Dr had to cut my facial nerve and that left me with no blink in my left eye and I have been Thur the mill trying to find something to sooth the eye and keep it moisturize and not get a dry eye.

This product feels really good to me it doesn’t burn the eye,or make a big mess of it when u put it in the eye. And Thur the day I use this and a prescription from my doctor of the Xiidra and it’s good stuff to but need your insurance to cover that it’s expensive.

I initially liked this eye ointment due to its easy to use plastic tube packaging, and how easy it was to apply to the eyes due its less viscous formulation. However, after a while, I noticed that my daytime blurry vision and dry eye issues returned after switching to this from and it dawned on me that the higher mineral oil content of this ointment was likely at fault.

The less viscous ointment also caused the product to migrate outside of the eyes at night, leaving me with a messy eye in the morning (and at risk of making my pillow case/eye mask dirty) after use. So while it somewhat helps relieve dry eye at night, I much prefer a product with a higher proportion of petrolatum to help maintain moisture and reduce migration of the product.

I will not be repurchasing this, but instead going back to a formulation that provides more long-lasting moisture for my needs.

Another great product from Similasan, a great company for healthy, natural products. There is NOTHING wrong with the Ivizia product, packaging, or ease of use. Works as it should, as advertised. Unless you have a physical malady, the consumer who said she had issues with the design of the bottle, when dispensing the medication into her eyes, is the one with the issue.

The whole wording of her statement appears to be bogus and suspicious. I’ve used worse designs from major pharma, as eye meds. And I’m not in the medical or health fields, and do not work for and am not associated with any pharma or medical or eye medicine co.

I use the Clear eyes triple action relief eye drop during the day. I have chronic dry eyes, allergy related eye issues and have found that not only does it help remove the redness but it relieves itching and watery eyes also.

It seems to lubricate because I don’t seem to have so much problems after using it with my dry eyes. This is a great multi purpose product. If you have eye problems like me you want to check this one out next time you are looking at eye drops.

Visine Advanced Redness + Irritation Relief I’ve used the Visine Advanced Redness + Irritation Relief for several years now. I like these eye drops because they don’t make me cry any EXTRA tears. Sometimes eyedrops are just too tooooo strong.

I would not say these fall into that category. Sometimes I question if I even got the drops in my eyes, which can be a downfall.

As a nurse in the hospital, I work long hours so I wear my contacts for at least 16+ hours per day. It comes as no surprise that my eyes and contacts get really dry and uncomfortable. The hospital air doesn’t do anything to make it better either.

That’s why I always like to have a bottle of these contact lense relief with me. They really work well to relieve my eyes from irritation and dryness. Some eye drops require the contacts to be removed and I like that I can use these without having to take my contacts out.

The brand does claim that it can last up to 12 hours of soothing comfort, which is not true for me. I usually have to use these drops twice a shift or so but that might have something to do with the dryer hospital air.

I have worn contacts since I was 16 I’m now 36. I have very bad allergies, especially in the summer so my eyes get itchy and irritated. These drops are very soothing, they last a long time and they don’t burn when you put them in your eye.

I love these eyedrops! I wear my contact lenses pretty much everyday and for many hours (12+) and my dye doctor recently told me that I wouldn’t be able to wear contact lenses in the future if I continued to do that.

He recommended that I use eye drops especially made for contacts as they often are better at removing the protein deposits that accumulates at the bottom of your lenses. This is, I believe, what creates inflammation in your eyes and can have nasty consequences.

I like this eyedrop because I feel like my eyes are getting a bath when I use them. I usually put a drop in each contact before I put them into my eyes in the morning and then I have another bottle in my purse if I feel the need to use it during the day.

These are the best kind of eye drops! I have been suffering severe dry eye due to working in front of a screen all day but also poor sleep due to sleep apnea. I have tried almost every kind of eye treatment in the market even really expensive drops and supplements.

Nothing does the trick to relieve my dry eye like these. Some other drops even make it feel worse!! My eye doctor suggested an eye drop I already tried before which was one that made it worse. He did say that the ingredient that relieves redness in this would cause more redness but j don’t care about that my eyes get so unbearably dry.

The menthol in this relieves it right away but also lasts awhile. I go through like 2 of these a week and still can’t get prescription treatment. I don’t know why. Any way, I highly recommend this type of eye drop to someone treating dry eye that has to put drops in constantly.

Loved the product. I usually have eye problem because of sleep deprivation so I mostly keep trying new eyes drops. But this really changed it. Loved the product. It’s cool to eyes. My eyes are less itchy after using it.

I am an eye drop expert because of my chronic dry eyes. Don’t get me wrong these eyedrops work, but if you don’t want your eyes to burn every application you use your eyedrops. Don’t buy these. They are cooling for sure.

Just wasn’t aware how cooling they were going to be. This might be the desired effect for some people, but I will never buy these again. I literally can’t see after I apply these for a few seconds, but after the 10 seconds of pain they work great! So you be the judge if it’s worth it.

I have suffered from eyelid “dandruff” for years–from blapharitis/demodex and meibomium gland disfunction. This works better than all the meds my eye doctor has prescribed. In fact–it’s the only thing that helps so much with my blepharitis that I would be suffering without it. I have glaucoma & my eye doctor gave me the ok to use it as it doesn’t interfere with my glaucoma drops.

I bought this for my 3. 5 yo who most likely got pink eye from the pool she had been taking swimming lessons in. Before putting this in her eye, she hadn’t reach the stage of puss or watery eye. However, when she woke up the next morning her eye didn’t show any improvement.

This is a wonderful ointment, although more difficult to get into a dog’s eyes than regular drops. My boston terrier gets itchy eyes and rubs his face on the carpet, scraping fur off around his eyes.
